I decided to write an alternate ending to my #4 least favorite episode of Ed, Edd, n Eddy, If It Smells Like an Ed. A bunch of them exist already, but I wanted to see how I would approach it. That said, let's get on with it!
As the Kankers dragged the Eds out of sight, Jimmy smirked and said, "Never mess with the best, suckas!" Unfortunately, he wasn't looking where he was going, and he slipped on a stray banana peel.
The camera showed Sarah walking en route to her house when Jimmy cried out, "Sarah, owie!"
"Jimmy?" cried the pink-shirted girl. She ran back the way she came, and she went to where Jimmy lay. "Jimmy, are you alright? What'd you do?"
"I admitted to the Eds I was the one who framed them earlier, and I sent them to the Kankers as punishment, but then I wasn't looking where I was going, and I slipped on a banana peel and hurt my back!"
Sarah however, seemed to be concerned about something other than his injury. "Wait. You did all that stuff earlier?"
"Y-yes."
"Let me bring the others here. They were on their way home, too."
"OK."
Sarah came back with Jonny, Kevin, and Nazz. "So, you were the one who wrecked Friendship Day," said Kevin.
Jimmy nodded, but then stopped. "Wait, wrecked, what?"
"You went too far man. I wouldn't even go that far."
Nazz agreed. "Some 'friendship,' Jimmy."
Jimmy was shocked. Sarah had betrayed him! "Sarah, why?"
The camera showed the Kankers dragging the Eds when they stopped. "I'm sorry Jimmy, but you were why we had to go after the Eds today when we didn't have to," they heard Sarah say.
"Should we go check it out?" asked Marie.
"Eh sure, why not?" said Lee.
"Who's Jimmy?" May asked as they went back where they came.
The camera cut back to Jimmy and the other kids. "You used us for your own gain!" cried Jonny. "Plank and I haven't felt this violated since the time we tried to have—"
"Alright, what's goin' on here?" asked Lee, who showed up with her sisters and their respective Eds.
"Fluffy here started everything by framing the Eds for something he did!" said Kevin.
The Kankers, shocked, freed the Eds from their grasp and advanced towards Jimmy. "Nobody messes with the Eds on our watch!" cried Lee.
"It's pounding time," agreed Kevin.
"Wait, friends, no!" cried Jimmy. But it was too late. The camera cut to a relieved Ed, Edd, n Eddy as they watched Jimmy get beat up by his peers.
"Ahh, sweet justice," said Eddy.
"I find this extremely cathartic," agreed Edd.
"Fluffier than Rolf's sheep!" Ed spouted out.
Eventually, Jimmy's beating was finished. "Let's go, girls," said Lee, who left with her sisters.
"I've got my eyes on you, Eds," said Kevin as he left.
"Yeah. Don't think we like you all of sudden," agreed Sarah as she left.
"Plank says he's sorry for what he did. I'm sorry too, buddy," said Jonny as he left.
"Come here, boys," said Nazz. She walked over to Ed and hugged him, causing him to make his trademark laugh. She then hugged Edd, causing him to cover his mouth and blush. Finally, she hugged Eddy, causing him to be flustered. "Happy Friendship Day, boys."
"Happy Friendship Day to you too, Nazz!" said Edd.
"Best friends foreverrrrr!" cried Ed.
"Ha-ha-ha…" stammered Eddy. Nazz giggled before leaving.
Well, there you have it. I tried not to have any ass pulls in this fix fic, and I tried to keep the cast in character as best as I could without turning the episode into a re-enactment of the movie (aka the Eds getting a finale-worthy happy ending when the series isn't over). I also did not include Rolf because he was never involved in the episode's plot, and there was no need to shoehorn him in here.
