Dr Robotnik's latest endeavour to discover Knothole Village leaves Tails seriously injured. Sally becomes afraid of what might happen if Tails goes up against Robotnik, and forbids him from flying outside of the village. But when it seems only Tails can help Sonic stop an impending disaster for the Great Forest, Sally has to learn that if you love someone, you let them go.

This is part of the Sonic the Hedgehog movies, and takes place after Sonic the Hedgehog 2 that just recently came out. If you haven't watched either movie, do not read!

Sonic wakes up on an island with no memories of his past other than his name and title but he finds new purpose as the inhabitants of the island seem to be in danger

When Eggman uses the time eater, he creates a timeline in which Sonic never existed - and his friends had never met. Sonic enters a world that is conquered by the mad doctor, and finds his friends split across different allegiances and goals. Now, he must find a way to bring his old friends back together to take down the Empire and restore the timeline to what it once was.
