Chapter 29:

Candy stood in front of the door nervously, not sure whether or not she was prepared to step through it yet. Knowing that Sam and Dean were on the other side made her heart flutter; she had missed them so much while she was gone. Yet, they were going to ask her so many things that she wasn't prepared to give them an answer to. If she told then about the baby, Sam would be excited and Dean would be upset. One of them would be hurt eventually when the truth came out about whose baby it really was.

"No matter whose it is," she whispered go herself, laying her hand over her stomach gently, "it's mine. It's my baby." She suddenly felt very nauseous as she thought about Dean's reaction. Sam would be happy, and would quit hunting for her. Dean didn't think there was a way out of the life. A baby would be a huge inconvenience to him, even though he would love it and take care of it anyways. Dean couldn't quit hunting like Sam could, and that scared Candy more than anything. Secretly, she hoped it was Dean's, but she knew it would be better off being Sam's.

Before she could knock on the door, a hand clamped down over her mouth. Candy was yanked back, and a tiny sharp object was jabbed into her neck. She immediately felt dizzy. As she toppled back, Adam's face came into view. He caught her in his arms, then lifted her bridal style. Struggling to keep her head up, Candy fought through her dizziness to ask him what was going on.

"I'm really sorry about this," he told her, carrying her to an unfamiliar vehicle. He opened the back door and laid her across the back seat. "Crowley is going to give me my mom back. I know you don't understand, but I have to do this to see my mom again." Candy flinched when the door slammed, but when she tried to get up, she toppled over against the door. Her vision blurred until she couldn't see anything, then it all went dark.

Sam got excited when he heard knocking on the door. Dean was out at the bar, so he figured it had to be Candy. She was finally home, and he could make things right with her. However, when he opened the door, he was a little disappointed to see Castiel.

"Hey, Cas," he sighed. "What's up?"

"I was just coming to check on Candy."

"You know she's not here," Sam grumbled. Castiel stepped into the room and looked around.

"She's supposed to be. She showed up at my door last night. She left and said she was coming back here. I don't think she would have taken off again."

"Why didn't she come to us last night?"

"Ask her. It's not my place to say."

"Well, where did she go? She's not here. I haven't seen her." Sam reached into his pocket for his phone. "I better call Dean."

"Why?"

"What if something happened to her?"

"Try calling Candy's phone first."

"Yeah, I guess I should." Sam dialed her number, but immediately heard her ringtone from outside the door. He stepped outside and quickly located her phone in the bush right outside of the motel room. The screen was cracked. "Cas, we need to find Candy."

"Is something wrong?"

"Yeah, I think Candy was taken." He showed Castiel the phone. "There's no way she would leave this behind. She has it the whole time she was gone. If she decided to take off again, she would keep this to contact us. Or Bobby. Or anyone." Sam opened his phone again and dialed for Dean. After explaining the situation to Dean, he hung up and hurried back into the room. "Cas, we've got to find her."

"I want to tell you something, Sam, but I can't," Castiel sighed. "But I can tell you that it's really important that we find her. It's not just her life that we need to save." Sam eyed him suspiciously,

"Who else are we saving?"

"I can't tell you, Sam. I promised her I wouldn't. Just trust me. We need to hurry." He disappeared then, leaving Sam with more questions than he ever wanted rattling around in his head simultaneously.

Candy felt her head pounding relentlessly when she finally woke again. The next thing she felt was a throbbing pain in her wrists. Her eyes fluttered open to reveal that she was standing, no, not standing. Candy looked up to see rope binding her wrists together, tied to a pipe above her head. She was hanging by her wrists. Immediately, she began struggling against the ropes. The room around her was dark except for the glow of a light coming through the doorway to her right.

"My, my, my," a voice of a young man caught her attention. A black-eyed, dark-haired man came through the door. Candy didn't recognize him, but he was handsome in the kind of mysterious and dangerous way that teenage Candy would have fallen head over heels for. "You don't need your succubus powers to get men, do you? You're quite beautiful." His voice was laced with a British accent, and all of his features were rigid. His hair was slightly curly, shaggy, and fell over his eyebrows. Still, he was a demon.

"What do you want with me?" She asked him in frustration.

"We have a lot in common, you and me. I'm the only person Crowley trusts to be around you, because your temptations don't work on me. Not yet. You're not powerful enough for that." He stepped close to her. "I'm an incubus. Your male counterpart."

"You didn't answer my question, although now I guess I should ask what Crowley wants with me." Candy tried to remain as calm as she could, but panic was rising from within her. She didn't know if she was strong enough to bury it.

"He's luring Sam and Dean here. The final showdown and all." He stepped closer. "I'm here to guard you, although it's been really hard to keep my hands to myself." He ran his fingertips down her side, trailing down to her thigh. Candy squirmed. "Did you know that succubi and incubi feel more pleasure during sex than anyone else. Every touch. Every," he grabbed her by the waist and pulled her against him, "feeling is amplified."

"Don't touch me, you son of a bitch," Candy snapped. "Let go."

"Don't you want me to touch you?"

"No, I don't," she hissed, squirming away from him. He stared at her for a moment,

"Maybe I'm underestimating you."

"People tend to make that mistake," Candy grumbled. "It's a dumb mistake."

"You should be fighting to get to me by now," he scoffed. "I'm much more powerful than you. I can seduce others like us, but for whatever reason, it's not working on you. Why is that? Hm... You're very interesting." He took a step closer.

"Back up, asshole."

"I have a name."

"Is it asshole? I feel like it should be asshole."

"It's Luca, actually. And yours is Candace, or Candy for short," he grinned up at her. "A very sexy name, if you don't mind me saying."

"I do mind."

"Too bad," Luca said, grabbing her calves and placing himself between her legs. He held her thighs against his hips, "Don't you feel anything right now? Any lust or sexual desires?"

"Does disgust count," she grimaced, trying to pull away from him. It was difficult with her arms bound above her head. Luca leaned forwards to press his lips to hers but she turned her head away from him. "Get away from me!" She screamed, thrashing about enough to get him to let go. When he stepped back, he quickly grabbed her button up. He yanked it as hard as he could until all of the buttons popped. He smiled at the now visible lacy white bra she was wearing.

"Did you dress up for me, darling?"

"If you touch me," she said through her teeth, "Sam and Dean will tear you apart. You hear me? They won't rest until they burn your body to ashes."

"Your boyfriends don't scare me, Candy," Luca chuckled. "Don't underestimate me. I'm pureblooded unlike you." He reached forwards and grabbed each cup of her bra and tore it down the center. Then, taking a step back, he unbuttoned his own shirt. For a moment, Candy became completely focused on his perfectly sculpted abdomen. Suddenly, there was a tingling in her body, and an uncontrollable urge to run her fingers down his chest and stomach. She wanted to be pressed against him, to touch him all over.

"No," she whispered to herself, closing her eyes and shaking her head. "No, stop it." When she opened them again, the tingling and urges were gone. "I won't fall for it, Luca. I don't want you. I'll never want you." He looked genuinely confused.

"I'm sorry," he said after a moment of silence, "I'm not used to women telling me no."

"I'll bet not," she muttered under her breath.

"Well, you've certainly made things harder for yourself," he sighed. "After I seduced you, my orders were to find out where Sam and Dean may have gone to hide. See, Adam told us what motel they were in when he brought you to us. When we got there, however, they were gone. However, Adam did tell us how to get them here." He pulled a phone from his pocket that Candy recognized as Adam's. He flipped it open and looked for Sam's name. Candy was genuinely confused when he put the phone up to his ear.

"What're you-"

"Hey, Sam," he cut her off. Candy's eyes widened. "She's right here in front of me, actually. Do you want to talk to her?" Luca looked up at her, then carried the phone over so that he could put it up to her ear.

"Candy?" She heard Sam's voice.

"Yeah, Sam, it's me," she sniffed as tears started to pool in her eyes. "I-" She froze when she felt Luca's free hand slide under the hem of her jeans. "No, don't touch me!" She yelled at him. "Get away from me!"

"Candy, what's going on?" Sam asked her.

"Sam," she gasped as Luca slipped a finger into her. "Please, stop it," she begged him. "Stop it, Luca..."

"Luca? What's he doing, Candy?" Sam sounded scared. Candy was trying to hold back her tears.

"Tell him, Candy," Luca breathed in her ear. "Tell him what I'm doing."

"Sam, it doesn't matter," she panted. Luca worked his fingers as she spoke, making it difficult to keep focused. "I'm okay, that's all that matters. Just be careful. Don't come here. Crowley wants you to come here." Luca yanked the phone away from her ear and put it against his own.

"You better come here, Sam. Bring your brother, too." He forced a moan from Candy's throat. "You hear that, Sammy-boy? If you don't show up, I'll do more than make her moan. I'll make her scream." With that, he slammed the phone shut and drew his hand back. Candy let out a sigh of relief, but couldn't shake the feeling of disgust in her stomach. "Don't relax just yet. Our fun has just begun."
