Tigerheart slammed his paw down on his alarm clock, which was beeping 5:00 AM. Groaning, he got out of bed, took his shower, and ate his breakfast, getting ready for school. "morning, sweetie." His mother, Tawnypelt, said. "I hope your day at school will be great." She said.

Tigerheart smirked. "Mom, you know that I'll be fine with Dovewing, right?" He said. Dovewing, his girlfriend, had been there for him multiple times when he went through hard times because of certain events (his grandfather being a psychotic murderer, for example). They stood up for each other and were a really perfect match.

"I know, I know. It's just…" Tawnypelt trailed off. Tigerheart nodded solemnly. A month ago, his brother, Flametail had taken his life from constant bullying at school and his sister, Dawnpelt had ran away afterwards, because she loved Flametail far more than Tigerheart.

"Mom, it's ok. I understand. I've got to get to school, tell dad good morning for me." He said, kissing her cheek than ran out the door to catch the school bus. It was only one more week of school left, so he wouldn't be to bored. As he walked on the bus, he saw a familiar face. "This seat taken?" he asked.

"yes, by you." Dovewing told him and Tigerheart took his seat before kissing her for a few seconds. "So, how's your mom doing?" She asked him

"She's doing good. You know, Whitewing really helped her and I think that those two will get along great if we ever get married." Tigerheart replied. Dovewing was about to respond when some commotion happened in the front of the bus. Tigerheart sighed in sadness. A acquaintance of his, Spikefur, was being bullied, his books being torn from his hands and him being nearly tripped on several occasions before he took his seat. Tigerheart shook his head and turned his attention back to Dovewing. "So did you hear about the field trip we're taking today?" He asked her.

"Yeah, never thought that we would be allowed to look into a scientific research lab in person." Dovewing answered.

"I know. I wonder what kind of experiments they have there." Tigerheart said. He smirked as he added "Maybe they have some mutant praying mantises." He said and Dovewing hit his shoulder with her paw. She hated Praying Mantises with a passion and Tigerheart knew it. "Come on, I'm only joking." He laughed. "Really, though, how has your weekend been? Mine's been, well, interesting." Tigerheart asked, hoping to start small talk between the two, which was successful. The two continued to talk until they arrived at school and they both agreed to meet up on the same bus. Unknown to Tigerheart, however, this field trip would be one that would change his life forever.

AN: and now, my first Spider-man fic…well technically spider-man, technically warriors but you get what I mean. This is so short because writer's block and I'm a little lazy. It's 9:21 PM as I'm typing this and god am I tired. Night!
