Did you miss me?!~
Sesshomaru was not a happy man. In fact you might even say he was a dangerously enraged demon who at any moment could go on a murder spree the likes of which the world hadn't seen since the feudal era. He would make Jack the Ripper look like a saint. The reason? Sesshomaru had just arrived at Rin's home. The room was pristine so clean that you could eat off of the floor. In fact with nothing out of place there seemed to be no reason for his rage to be crackling through the air. But, though it was faint Sesshomaru could smell it as thick and terrifying as it was familiar. The scent of blood. The scent of Rin's blood. Sesshomaru forced himself not to change. A bloody rampage, as satisfying as it would be, would solve nothing. At the same time just standing in the house where his mate had been, no not killed there wasn't enough blood…..
My mate was kidnapped by a human.
The thought was as striking as it was startling. It had to be a human, The scent of blood, no matter how faint, would have stood out to a demon especially if they had been cleaning searching to destroy any evidence. The human wasn't unskilled because he or she had known enough to cover his scent, that narrowed it down quite a bit. It could only be a Monk, a Priestess, or a demon slayer. Sesshomaru considered what he knew about his mate, the puzzle of who dunit was another kind of hunt allowing him to calm his raging blood and soothe his demon with the promise of unleashing his full wrath on the culprit soon. Rin was a princess, heir to a large corporation which was, according to his research, beginning a downward spiral in everything except the beauty department. She was being hunted by the next in line. She also had an enemy in the wolves who likely hadn't taken kindly to what be seen as the rather harsh rejection of their alpha male. As for allies she had her father, who had also been taken, Sesshomaru himself, and….. Jakatsu! The young demon had already proven to be a loyal friend to the girl, willing to fight for her if necessary. Her other friend Ayame was not pushover either.
Sesshomaru knew how controlled he was but he also knew his limits. Over the course of his lifetime he had learned that in this new modern world, it was no longer so easy to complete his objectives on his own. He would call them for backup if necessary.
Back to the suspects, he dismissed the wolves the never had and never would trust outsiders with much of anything. They prefered to do their own dirty work. That left- A low snarl broke his train of thought. Sesshomaru turned towards the door. Not because he was particularly interested in who was coming through the door. It was just his habit never to turn his back on his enemy.
"Why are you here?" The low growl filled the room, dark and dangerous. Just not to Sesshomaru.
"I belief it is I that should be the one asking that to you. I see that I shall have to teach you another lesson in respect." Sesshomaru's blood sang in his veins, his eye flashed red once more and as annoyed as he was he really really needed this. Maybe he'd even let him live. Maybe. With that last thought Sesshomaru leapt at his opponent claws extended and face set in a wide grin.
Jak was not happy. First of all the day had started with Rin getting scarred, again. So without her knowledge Jak had to beat in the heads of her tormentors, again. Which meant now he had another secret to hide from Rin his best friend, someone he loved like a little sister. Then, as if that wasn't enough he was gracious enough to let her out of his sight and she wouldn't answer her phone. This is why he and Ayame were out at this Kami awful time of night so they could check on her. Why late at night? Because Late at night is when they always text because Rin often gets insomnia and Ayame and Jak didn't need much sleep.
So you can imagine how utterly pissed off he was that when he arrived with Ayame for a quick check on his lovely fragile younger sister's home to find that, not only was she gone but to idiot alpha males were fighting instead of looking for her. Ayame insisted that it was between the two men and he shouldn't interrupt but Jak was also very insistent.
"Rin may not have time for these two morons to work out their stupid issues and pull their heads out of their asses long enough to find her. We need those two mutts, willing or not."
With that little speech Jak did something he hadn't done in a long time he stayed in human form and whipped out his sword. Ignoring Ayame's look of 'where the hell did you stash that?!' Jak watched and waited for the correct opportunity and then he struck. Jak's sword lengthened unfolding and striking like a snake. The two alpha males sprang apart turning their attention to Jak who stood tall and menacing as his sword came back to him his eyes flashing back at them. "If you two idiots are done, maybe we can, oh, I don't know, go save the girl you're so earnestly fighting over!" He looked at them with a sneer. "And the way you two are acting? I'm not sure if I want to give My Rin to either of you." He paused as twin growls of rage interrupted his rant before continuing. "But it will be easier to find her if I have your tracking skills, and easier to get her back if I'm not alone. So, you both need to put away your claws until after we save Rin." With that he turned away from the two raging demon canines and headed purposefully towards the door. Without looking back, Jak had one last thing to say. "Oh, and if you don't help me save her, I will do everything in my power to make sure you never see my sweet girl again." He reached the door and as he started to go outside, he turned to look back at them with a cruel smile. "So are you coming?"
