Hey everyone so I am back with another chapter! yay! Sorry it took longer but I was busy with several things and I actuall had been working on this chapter for a while now which ended up becoming too long of a while because the chapter had become over 40 pages, So i needed to split it down, I hope you all enjoy part 1 of the first Frontier trial match, make sure to keep an eye out for the next part very soon! "Everyone evacuate! The city is under attack!"
Shriveling screams filled the air, children were forced to flee while women and men remained to fight, calling out their pokemon to fight against the cloaked figures wreaking havoc in their city.
"Hyper beam!"
"Thunder!"
"Inferno!"
"Hurricane!"
The sky was no longer blue, but instead gray and red, ashes flying through the air while lightning and thunder traveled behind the clouds, roaring with ferocity, trees were bent to the point where they snapped in half, leaving rubble of houses and trees circling through the winds.
A woman with raven colored hair and light steel colored eyes emerged from the large villa that was set on fire, dragging along two young girls who shared extremely similar features, the same platinum blonde hair as their father and the same light steel colored eyes which came from her, eyes which were filled with fear and tears as they saw the chaos surrounding them.
"Kingston!" she shouted, running over to the platinum blonde male who was sided with his garchomp, both of them taking on a gang of the cloaked figures and there pokemon.
"Protect!" he shouted, being shielded by a large green force field which had reflected the ice attack aiming his way.
His head snapped back when he heard his wife's voice in the distance, "Blair! Take the girls and go! They already destroyed the pokemon league! It's not safe!"
"No! I'm not leaving you!" she pulled out a pokeball, throwing it up where a beautiful Milotic emerged, joining sides with his Garchomp.
One of the cloaked figures pointed at them, "Blair and Kingston…you two conquered the tower, yet gave everything up to run away together….you should have never created Crystal Genesis, it's a disgrace to the people who brought you to this world and all your other little friends who were given a second chance, more so…...you two decided to give life to two girls, both of whose fates have already been sealed".
"We're not the same as we were years ago, we followed the Origin mindlessly and created war, a war which many will never recover from, Crystal Genesis was created to seal and protect the regalia's from ever being used again, they may be gifts, but they are curses too, and even if it costs us our life, we will make sure our daughter's never fall victim to the roads we once followed".
"Blair….sweet Blair". she looked away, becoming weak in her knees upon hearing that familiar voice, one of the figures stepped forward but was stopped when Kingston had released a low growl.
"You were destined to embrace your title of Queen of the roads, you gave power like no other and conquered each path effortlessly, where is the little girl who dreamed of becoming the best"?
She furrowed her eyebrows, sending a venomous glare over to their direction, "She's right here, living happily with the man she loves and the children she beared and cares deeply for, this region me and my husband founded is my best accomplishment, the league we both started is just the cherry on top, being the Pledge queen never compared to that because it never made me happy".
"Mom….." muttered Celestial, staring deeply at her mother while taking in her words.
"What about you Kingston…..you destroyed many lives while reaching the top, being the Storm King gave you power unlike any other, you were looked up to by many and many wanted to serve by you….don't you miss it?"
He remained silent, only glaring at them, hate pouring endlessly through his eyes, "I was a tyrant…...but my friends, and Blair, showed me that having all that power wouldn't make me any happier, I was miserable as the King, my life now…..it completes the missing gap I had been feeling inside my heart since the very beginning, and If I had to do it again, I would choose to abandon my road".
"Dad….." whispered Luciana, surprised by what he said.
"You two had it all, you were the perfect creations…...yet quickly became defective, your lives have no purpose in this world anymore".
"You're wrong! Our purpose in the world was rewritten, not for evil, but instead for good!" He whipped his arm forward, commanding his Garchomp to tackle Conkeldurr who had done the same, both pokemon clashed fiercely against one another, not once showing signs of struggle.
"Use cross poison Drapion!" it charged forward, holding both of it's claws up which began glowing a dark purple.
Both girls gasped upon seeing the fearsome expression on the poison types face, Blair stood in front of them, shielding her daughters while Milotic jumped, slamming her tail against Drapion who was thrown back full force.
"Don't you even dare! Milotic use hydro pump!" a beam of pressured water with spiraling blue rings was released from the serpent's mouth, being barely avoided by Drapion and Ariados who threw themselves to the side.
"Use dragon pulse Garchomp!" It countered Conkeldurr's cinderblock, throwing the fighting type against Salamence who screeched from the hit.
"Gar!" a strong blue essence shot up from Garchomp's body, taking on the shape of a dragon which struck both pokemon, causing an explosion to erupt.
"Do you both really think you can take on the masters who taught you everything?!" one of them had sent his Dusclops out, commanding it to release a dark pulse of energy onto the field.
Kingston's eyes sharpened, glistening brightly under the dark sky as their attackers remained silent, "The love for my family and for this region is enough for me to keep going and break free, I am not one of your puppets anymore!"
Garchomp sliced through the dark energy waves, swiping it's blades towards Dusclops who vanished within a dark smoke.
"Dream all you want, You Origin children will never have a happy ending, we control your destinies and we'll make sure you leave this world regretting that you ever crossed us, none of you will have your happy ending!"
Blair looked back at her daughter's, frowning when she saw them in tears, Luciana clinging to Celestial, "W-what is he talking about, mom?"
They saw the tears build up in her eyes, a faint smile directed at them while a whisper brushed over them, "Celestial…...Luciana…...run….run and don't look back".
"W-what….b-but mom, da-".
"Run!" they shouted, startling both girls who screamed when Garchomp and Milotic jumped in front of them, blocking Drapion and Salamence's attack who had tackled them onto the floor, blowing a strong gust towards their direction.
"N-no! Mom! Dad!" Luciana stood her ground, avoiding Celestial's attempts to drag her out.
"Luciana we have to go!"
"No! I'm not leaving them!"
Kingston whipped his head back, teeth grinding together as he grabbed his wife's hand, "Get out of here! Both of you!"
They stared at both adults who gave them apologetic expressions, "We love you". they whispered.
The tears wouldn't stop, but they had no choice and took off, holding hands as they got farther and farther away, "We can't leave them!" cried Luciana.
Celestial held back her tears, refusing to let them back out, "I know! But Mom and Dad know best, we have to do what they say!"
"Your children will suffer, just like you". Milotic had wrapped itself around Salamence who took off into the sky, a bright light engulfed both of them as it raced further and further into the sky.
"Keep them out of this! They have nothing to do with you!" Garchomp took on Drapion who had tackled into it, lifting the scorpion pokemon up into the air and slamming it back down on the ground.
Both of it's blades were bound back by Ariados's silk thread, however it proved powerless when the dragon type pulled forward, dragging the bug type inwards where it was thrown against Drapion, a scorching flame thrower attack being followed onto them.
"Use blizzard!" shouted Blair, holding her hand up towards Milotic who was in Salamence's grip, her eyes began turning blue while a small melodic tone was released from the water type's mouth.
The temperature quickly dropped while snow began falling, circulating around the air where a vortex was created, trapping both Milotic and it's opponent within.
"Augh!" they had tripped, clashing to the floor where they remained, having no urgency to keep running, they had rather preferred to run back and be with there parents, but the orders they were given what were kept them from doing so.
Celestial kept her head down, unable to face her sister who clenched her hands into fists, getting up from the ground alone,"Is this it…...is this the end?"
"No…" she looked down at her twin who looked at her direction, "...and it won't be for a long time".
She took Luciana's hand, both of them now exchanging a nod as they shared a moment of silence, "!"
They were both startled by the loud explosion coming from the spot where they left, "O-oh no….." they gasped, frozen in fear by what they saw next.
"We still have much to deal with you two, go Dusclops!" a dark portal appeared beneath both Blair and Kingston, slowly swallowing them up.
"Blair….." Kingston looked into his wife's eyes, both of them understanding each other through just that gaze.
Both girls remained frozen in fear, staring widely with tears streaming down there face as a blinding white light shot down from the sky, surrounding the entire area with intense energy.
"Hm". she nodded, closing her eyes as they held onto each other's hands.
"Garchomp, use draco meteor!"
"Milotic! Use dragon pulse!"
A bright orange sphere was shot into the air from garchomp's mouth while Milotic chimed when a black and blue energy was released from her body, taking the form of a frightening creature which struck Draco meteor, causing it to explode into hundreds of colorful energy balls which came raining down over them, hitting all of their opponent's pokemon who were taken out in one blow, all except the Salamence who was swift in dodging every hit.
"Outrage". chuckled it's master.
It did a quick loop, shooting down straight for Garchomp and Milotic while being surrounded with a flaming green essence, it's eye turned a blood red while the figure of an even bigger dragon took shape behind Salamence.
"Argh!" they were blown back when a tiny white glint appeared from afar, unexpectedly turning into a large explosion and incinerating everything in the area into nothing but dust and ashes.
"Nooo!" they screeched, watching the shower of dust fall across the air, where there once stood there burning house, stood nothing now.
"You two should have just kept running". one of the cloaked figures appeared from a black portal appearing in front of them, an Aggron was by his side.
Her teeth were aching from all the grinding but the tears running down her face reminded her of the hate she now had for them, "I'll kill you! All of you!"
She took out a pokeball, being stopped from throwing it by Celestial, "Don't do it Luciana! We have to get away from here!"
"No! Not until they pay for what they did!" she threw it forward, releasing her Lairon who quickly growled at its advanced evolutionary opponent.
"Use Iron head!" she ordered, emotions running high on anger and revenge.
" Luciana! No!" Celestial pulled her back but was pushed by her twin.
Her pokemon screeched, charging after Aggron while it's armor began glowing.
"-Ggron". it quickly dodged it, picking up Lairon without any struggle and throwing it, sending it crashing against the floor roughly, barely any energy left in it's body.
"Lairon! No!" she rushed over to it, staring up at the perp with vicious tear filled eyes.
"You have guts little girl…..I wonder, which road has chosen you? Aggron, use dragon claw!"
It charged over to them, holding up its claw which aimed over onto Luciana who refused to move, shielding her Lairon who was lying on the ground.
"Luciana!" she was pushed out of the way by Celeste who had taken the hit, a large gash inflicting her eye which left the young girl on her knees, screeching and growling uncontrollably in pain, blood spilled onto the floor in front of her twin, leaving her paralyzed from the sight.
"You two have yet to grow". he vanished within the black hole, leaving both girls in the middle of their abandoned city, a city with nothing of it's existence left in tact.
"Aghhhhhh!" her screams grew higher and louder as the pain became too much, her palms were entirely stained with red.
"C-celeste…" she was still in shock, unable to process what had just happened.
Her body gave in, dropping to the floor lifelessly where Luciana scurried to her sister's side, holding her up in her lap and arms while crying.
"Noooo! Celestial!"
(Luis/Anastasia)
"W-who are you?" he flinched, feeling the aching pain from his body being stiff in the same position for several days.
"U-um…" she was nervous when he had all his focus directed to her.
"Well well, isn't he a handsome one". Nyla purred when she saw Luis, sitting beside the once wounded boy while Lukas rolled his eyes.
"You're off by a lot Nyla, give it a rest".
"Hm?" he squeezed something, feeling it's tender softness which was quite pleasant to his hand.
"...U-uh…." her face was steaming red, Lukas's jaw dropped while Nyla gasped, blushing at the sight.
"Well, you're a real girl so that's that". he kept squeezing her breast, causing Anastasia to scream in bewilderment and slap him.
"You pervert!" he was sent rolling off the bed, being glared at by Nyla and Lukas darkly.
"How dare he grab you like that! I can't even feel a thing!" tears streamed down Lukas's face which became an annoyance to the brunette who chose to ignore him.
Nyla cooed sadly, "Oh What I wouldn't give to be handled by a handsome boy like that!"
"Shut up! You both have problems!"
"Huh?" he rubbed his head to soothe the pain, staring dumbfoundedly at Anastasia screaming toward both her sides where there was no one.
"I should have never listened to either of you! You're both idiots!"
"Uh….w-who are you talking to?" she stopped, realizing how crazy she must look talking to nothing but herself, well in his eyes she was talking to herself.
She blushed in embarrassment, "N-nobody….anyways…..glad to see your full recovery, I'll be on my way".
Lukas chuckled wearily, "Right…...I almost forgot, no one else can see us except for you".
Nyla wiggled her finger back and forth, "Not entirely true….only those who have been tied to a road may see us, Anastasia just happened to be the first one to communicate with us".
"Yeah, and now I'm starting to regret it". she muttered.
She felt Luis's presence moving from the back, "You said your name was Anastasia….what are you doing in here?"
"I only came to revive you, if it weren't for me you'd be wasting seven months of your life sleeping in, and now that you're healed, my job here is done". she opened the door, being stopped when it was forced shut by him, trapping the brunette underneath who became nervous once more.
"Who sent you here? Where's Keilani?!" she jolted at his rough tone, wondering instantly who Keilani was.
"I-i don't what you're talking about, I told you everything now let me go!"
"Augh!" he punched a hole through the wall just inches near her, leaving the hazel eyed girl frozen in fear from the force of his hit.
"That power! He's just dreamy!" swooned Nyla, fawning over Luis with admiration in her eyes.
Lukas snarled towards the goateed male, "More like a savage, Anastasia healed him and this is how he treats her? I oughta kick his ass".
His comment was brushed off by the older female, "Well guess what, you can't because you're a spirit so get over it".
"I don't have time for this". she hurried over to the window but was stopped when Luis flipped her skirt upwards, sparking Anastasia to squeal in panic.
"Yes you do, you're coming with me". he picked her up into his arms, jumping out the window and landing safely below.
"What is wrong with you! Do you want to get slapped again?!" she flailed in his arms but he had a good grip on her, enjoying the nice feeling of her curved body in his hands.
"Hm?" he took notice of the dark blue device strapped to her arm.
"Say…..what is that?"
"None of your business creep! Now let me go!" she continued flailing about.
His leer became chilling,"Not until we get to the bottom of what happened to me and find where Keilani is".
"W-who's this Keilani?" she asked hesitantly.
He remained silent at first before letting out a sigh and putting Anastasia down, "The most important person in my life".
He dropped to the floor, burying his head in between his palms, "The last thing I remember was Keilani trying to grab my hand, and then everything went blank after that".
"Hmph….What a letdown, he already has a girlfriend". Nyla turned the other way with crossed arms.
"An even bigger reason why he shouldn't grab girls like that, he's an animal!" Lukas spat, shooting dagger like eyes onto Luis.
She fought hard and long inside her head, going back between helping and just abandoning Luis, I mean, she already did her part, why should she stick around any further?
"I hate myself". she muttered, hoping no one else heard, of course only Nyla and Lukas did.
She placed a hand on Luis's shoulder, "I…...I'll help you, so just relax, we'll find your girlfriend".
"H-huh!" he was too quick to dodge, now being trapped within Luis's hug with his head pressed firmly against her breasts.
"Thanks…...I could use a bit of rest too if you don't mind". he snuggled into them, turning Anastasia completely bright red, smoke fuming from her this time.
"I do mind actually!" she kicked him in the stomach, watching happily as he curled up on the floor, cupping the spot where she hit him.
"This guy has a death wish". Lukas's eyes were beaming red like a demon's, she could hear the cringing pop like noises his fists were releasing upon being pressed on.
(Alpha Battling)
"Wow! Look at them go!" shouted Troy, shooting up from his seat as the class got riled up instantly from the match, both serpents had clashed against each other in mid air, countering off the other where they landed in their respective spots.
"Use ingrain!" she shouted, large roots shot up from the ground, surrounding the entire field which was now turned into a grassy terrain.
"Use twister!" he ordered, smirking when his milotic released a powerful wind vortex towards Serperior.
"Solarbeam!" she shot her hand forward, chuckling when her pokemon absorbed the light from the open ceiling of the hall, it fired a blinding green light straight through twister, destroying it and then hitting Milotic who screeched from the hit.
"Ice beam Milotic!" it broke free from Solarbeam, releasing a beautiful blue ray of energy from it's mouth and over to Serperior who remained still.
"Take it!" it used its tail as a shield, taking on ice beam which had frozen it.
"A direct hit!" gaped the one eyed Russell.
"Don't be so sure". muttered Mercy, looking at Russell who didn't understand.
"Serperior!" it slammed its tail down, breaking off the thick ice which left her tail glowing beautifully under the light.
It chimed when it's body glowed green, absorbing the energy the roots had given off to it.
"Dragon pulse!" A dragon formed from black and blue energy blasted out from the water type's body, aiming directly for Serperior who stood still once more.
She placed a hand on her left hip, raising up her other hand towards the professor, "Is that all you've got?! Use Aqua tail Serperior!"
"What?!"
She stunned them when her pokemon had used its tail to release a strong blast of water spiraling beautifully in four, she used them to counter back Dragon pulse, whipping the attack back and forth until it was completely destroyed.
"Use Twister once more!" it released another strong wind vortex, shattering through Aqua tail and hitting Serperior who was sent crashing against the wall, something which Celestial felt unbothered by.
"-perior". it chimed again when it's body gained another boost of energy from the ingrown roots.
"Her Serperior…." Zero stared at Luciana from the corner of his eye, noticing the worrisome expression on the blonde's face.
"Iron tail Milotic!" it slithered over to it's opponent, raising its tail up which was now completely formed from metal, ready to strike down on the grass type.
"Use iron tail as well". both tails had clashed, creating an eerie piercing sound which had caused irritation to the entire classes ears.
Neither one of them were ready to back down, they continued holding their front, keeping their tails crossed against their opponents with full force.
"Solar beam!" rays of light were absorbed by the grass type, allowing her to fire a powerful beam of green energy straight at Milotic who was sent racing across the stadium, pummeling straight into the wall with a screeching cry.
"Milotic!" he looked back at his pokemon who had taken much more damage than he had anticipated, but she remained standing.
His head turned back to Celestial who had her head facing the ground, her fists were shaking, "I want to make you hurt the way you hurt me…." her whisper was enough for him to hear.
"Ice beam Milotic!" it fired another ice beam towards Serperior who shielded itself with it's tail again, allowing for it to be freezed.
"The pain…..you'll never understand the pain you caused me". she rose her head up, glaring at him with pure hatred, he felt frozen upon staring into her turquoise colored eye, the feeling emitting from it had brought back so many memories.
*Sierra…no…..don't look at me like that…...* he took a step back, turning his head to the side, avoiding all eye contact with his student.
Her pokemon broke off the ice, quickly racing over to Milotic who was slammed down to the ground with Serperior's tail.
"Mi-Milotic!" it swiped it's tail in counter attack, striking directly onto Serperior who was slammed up against the wall.
They went at it, aggressively attacking each other to the point where the class was now watching uncomfortably, "Someone needs to stop this match!"
"I-is this supposed to happen?"
"I don't know, but I can't watch this anymore".
Serperior screeched when Milotic bit on it's neck, it coiled its tail to be behind Milotic, the texture quickly transformed into steel where it struck it down on the water types head, knocking it away and onto the ground where it weakly held on.
Mika stood up, ready to go down and interfere, "Luciana, we have to stop the match, it's getting out of hand and neither of them are planning to stop it!"
Celebrant stood up after her, "Mika's right, if something isn't done those two pokemon will be left in a critical state".
She shook her head, "It is not in my power to interrupt a match authorized by an upper authority figure, all we can hope now is for the time to quickly put a stop to this".
"I can't tell if this is a battle or a death match!" Russell dug both of his hands through his hair, clutching tightly onto his head as he kept watching the match.
Michael had his arms crossed, "That girl…...she's incredibly daring".
Yun smirked, "And yet, she hasn't lost an inch of power".
She looked up at the clock, only two minutes were left, "Let's wrap this up Serperior! Frenzy plant!"
It returned to its side of the field, eyes glowing green as the ground began splitting when large thorned roots and plants began piercing through from beneath, entrapping the entire hall.
"Milotic!" it was grabbed by one of the roots, being lifted off and up into the air where several more plants began whipping it back and forth, taking turns on inflicting damage to the water serpent.
*BEEP*
The alarm went off, signaling both trainers to end their match, "Serperior, enough".
Every root and plant had retreated back into the ground, leaving Milotic to fall harshly on the ground when it was released, it's whimpers could barely be heard.
She called her pokemon back in, basking in the cold stare the professor shot her, "I'm disappointed teacher, I thought this match would've at least been a bit more challenging, it wasn't even worth my effort".
"I think you should excuse yourself from class right now".
She waved her hand carelessly, "You just read my mind".
All eyes were on her as she exited out of the hall, nothing but silence as the professor called back his pokemon, "I think we'll end class at that, I'll see you all tomorrow".
He was the second one to exit, leaving everyone to gossip and discuss what had happened as soon as the doors closed after him.
"Celeste". Mercy spent no time staying and rushed out through the doors, hoping to find her friend.
(Later that day)
She knocked on the door, waiting for the slight click to be heard, followed by a small creak from the door opening.
Her tone was more than exciting, it was repulsion, "What do you want".
"Is my sister here?" everything got quiet until Mercy sighed, pushing the door wide open to allow Luciana inside.
"No….I haven't seen her since she was basically kicked out of the class".
She slammed the door shut, taking a seat on the couch across from the Queen, "Where's your little boy toy, you know, the one who blindly follows you around everywhere".
"His name is Zero, and he doesn't need to be around for this". she crossed her leg over the other, taking on a more firm stance which amused Mercy who seemed less than intimidated.
"For what". she chuckled.
"Mercy…..what's the story behind my sister and that professor…...what happened in class today…...it crossed various boundaries, what exactly happened between those two, better yet…...how do they know each other?"
"I don't think it's any of my business to discuss this stuff with you…..after all, you are her sister, why don't you ask her?"
She looked down at her hands which began fiddling with each other, "I can't…...Celeste has always been a secretive person…..she's always full of mysteries and surprises…...she would never tell me the truth, I'm only coming to you for this because you're my only chance of knowing the truth".
A devilish smile crept onto her lips, "If that's the case…I believe a small favor should be owed in exchange".
She stared at the bluenette in uncertainty, "And that favor would be?"
"I'll let you know when the time comes".
"Somehow I feel I should be worried".
"Now that that's settled, what did you want to know?"
"My sister…...and that professor, what's their story?"
She stood up, being quite reserved as she paced around Luciana, "Let's just say…..the Professor lost someone dear to his heart, and Celestial just so happened to have something special from that dear person….something so unique that it had formed a new bond between the two".
"What do you mean?" she wasn't catching on to Mercy's hints.
Her body jolted when the bluenette shot her fist through one of the lamp vases, shattering it in one blow, "That professor dug his way into Celestial's heart to be close to the person he loved most, and when he realized playing with her emotions wouldn't bring his loved one back, he fled and left without so much as a goodbye…...Celestial's heart had given in, first Yun, and then him….she chose to keep her heart closed forever, a heart which had darkened from all the betrayal….it may sound pathetic, but that man brought Celeste into the light, he showed her how to smile again, how to see the world through another person's eye, he showed her that the world isn't always brimming with darkness, but that you need to find the light and make it shine brighter".
"I can't believe it….." he sat back in his chair, spinning it back to face the window of his office.
"...After all these years…You've come back into my life again". he held up two photos, one of Celestial smiling as she sat in front of a waterfall, and the other of another girl with long black hair, she had fair skin and beautiful turquoise colored eyes, a smile gleaming while she sat in a field of flowers.
There was a knock at the door, "Come in". he hid the photos within his desk drawer, turning back towards the door which creaked open.
"Professor….." Yun entered into the room, completely expressionless.
He challenged the Frontier's stare, hoping it would intimidate him, "Yun, is it? The king of the Frontiers, what brings you to my office?"
"I need to talk to you".
"Oh? What about?"
"Celeste".
"Ah yes, the girl who challenged me today, she's quite the intriguing littl-"
"Cut the crap, You two clearly share a secret together, one that I'm curious to learn about, so start talking".
A smirk curved up onto his lips, sparking a glare to sharpen on Yun's eyes, "Is it really any of your business? ".
"Yes".
She sat on top of a boulder facing over a small lake, she kept staring at her reflection, tears brimming yet refusing to come out, "Why….why did I have to see you again…...the memories, the pain…they won't stop".
"Mind if I join you?" she was startled by the voice, quickly whipping her head over to see Troy making his way towards her.
"What are you doing here?" she looked away, not wanting him to see her in a state of weakness like before.
"Well…...a certain girl seemed undoubtedly troubled after her match with the professor, and I couldn't help but be a bit worried about her". He took a seat below Celestial, keeping his back pressed against the boulder with one knee bent upwards to support his arm.
"I wasn't troubled, I was just irritated that the match was timed". she threw a small rock into the lake.
"I'm sure it was about that". he chuckled, pretending to buy into the girl's excuse.
"Troy…." she rested her chin in between her knees which she folded up.
"Yeah?" he kept a warm smile out towards the lake view.
"How do you see the world?" he was a bit surprised by her question, not understanding where all of it was coming from.
He let loose a small chuckle, a weary one, "W-well that's a good question…..The world….I see the world as a place full of surprises, good and bad, it's a beautiful thing because you never know what you might encounter along the path of life".
Her silence was quickly noticed, he looked up, seeing that she was deep in thought, "Someone once taught me to see the world through another person's eyes, it was beautiful, but now all I see is a world full of darkness and hate, there may be light, but it's not the light the world needs".
"That may be so, but the best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or touched, they must be felt with the heart".
She looked up at the sky, staring directly into the sun, "My heart died years ago".
He threw a pebble, watching it skip across the water effortlessly, "No….I think your heart has endured a lot and is trying to protect itself, just like it's holder…...but you know what, We become what we think about, the world can be cruel, but it can also be compassionate".
She took in his words, growing a faint smile as she closed her eyes, "Thank you".
"For?" he quirked a brow up.
"No reason". he smiled in return, remaining silent with Celeste as they enjoyed the view of the water.
(Iria/Zero)
"U-um, Excuse me Queen, but is Cele-". she peeked through the door, standing frozen at what she saw on the other side.
"Zero….." she moaned, arching backwards when he grabbed her bare waist and planted kisses all over her chest, she was down to nothing except her panties while he was in his boxers, both of them enjoying themselves on the couch.
"O-oh Arceus! I'm so sorry!" she looked away, completely red and steaming.
"Who's the kid?" she asked, pouting when Zero smirked at Iria's expression.
"Did you come to join us? I'm always up for a threesome, in fact, I find them much more pleasing". he planted a deep kiss onto the girl he was with, leaving her swooned and dozed into another world.
"N-no! Nothing like that, I-i just came to look for C-celestial!" she peeked over, seeing the same female getting all dressed back into her uniform while Zero seemed to be walking towards her direction. She quickly stepped back, finding herself trapped against the wall with her only exit closed next to her.
She walked past them, giving one last kiss to Zero and a glare at Iria who frowned "I'll see you tonight". she purred, exiting and leaving just the two inside the office.
"I-I should get going". she grabbed the doorknob, opening it just the slightest only for it to be slammed shut by Zero who had both of his arms against the wall and at both her sides.
"What's the rush, stay and have a little chat with me, I'm always up for getting to know a new person". he grabbed a lock of her hair, lifting it up against his lips, she began blushing, unable to move when he flashed her that sensual like grin.
"What's your name?" he twirled that same lock of her hair in between his fingers.
"I-iria…". she scrunched her face, hoping everything was just a weird dream and that it would end soon, but when she opened her eyes, he was still there, now inches closer with that same devilish grin.
"That's a cute name for an even cuter girl". she dropped to her knees, automatically feeling weak from all the tension she had felt.
She crawled from the bottom, jumping up onto her feet where she was now a good distance away from him, but now much farther from the door.
"I don't have time for your games, I have to find Celestial". he was now walking towards her again, unknowingly leading her to the couch which was behind.
He took off his glasses, giving her a lusting expressing, "It's not a game, I think you're cute and fresh meat is always the tastiest, untouched, pure, innocent, it's cute when they get embarrassed after finding out of the noises and faces there capable of making".
She cringed, now giving him a look of disgust, *This guy's an animal! I have to get out of here! But how?*
"Don't come any closer or I swear you'll regret it!" he wouldn't stop, coming closer and closer until she hit the couch, tripping back and onto it where she was trapped once more, this time with him hovering above her body.
She tried hitting him but he caught both of her wrists with one hand, holding them high above her head, that same lustful grin had now darkened, "I wonder…...will your leader get mad if I do such things to you? Will it hurt her?"
She squirmed repeatedly but she was trapped indefinitely, tears were beginning to water through her eyes, "Why are you doing this?"
"The queen may be holding back against her sister, but not me, I want to send Crystal Genesis a message and make it clear that some of us aren't so nice when it comes to games".
She yelped when he tore open her blouse, ripping each of the buttons off in one swipe, "No! Stop!"
She continued squirming and flailing underneath, hoping to pry him off as he began feeling her up, he hooked his finger underneath her bra, pulling it hard until it snapped open, "Please! Stop!"
"That's exactly what I like to hear, the enemy pleading in tears, but you know….I want to see more of you Iria". he planted his lips on her neck, trailing down in small motions towards her chest where she began whimpering.
"S-stop….P-please….D-don't do this". he went back up to her neck, letting out a small whisper, "When you say it like that, it only makes me want you more". he slipped his hand underneath her skirt.
"Augh!" she arched her back from the pain he inflicted when he bit her on the neck.
The door opened, "Hey Zero, has my dry cleaning arrived, they said it would be do-".
Hector had walked in, twirling a rose in his hand while the other was in his pocket, he looked up, freezing just like Iria in the beginning, "Zero….."
He saw the tears on Iria's face, the look of panic and fear mixed into one, the opened blouse and exposed chest with of course Zero forcefully over her.
"...You son of a bitch! What did you do?!" he ran over, knocking Zero off and then striking the glasses wearing boy directly in the face.
Nothing came out of his mouth when his head remained positioned to the side from when he was hit, but the air wasn't silent as Iria's low whimpers filled it, "What did you do?!"
He hit him again, this time splitting a cut onto Zero's lip where blood began seeping out, he wiped it off, "I'm teaching Crystal Genesis a lesson".
She took off, holding her torn blouse across her chest to keep it from showing, tears were still flowing out, "W-wait! Iria!"
He stood up, shooting a venomous and spine chilling glare down at the white haired boy, "I'm not done with you, but let me make this clear now, if you ever touch her again, I will have my pokemon tear you limb from limb and that's after I break everyone of your bones, personally".
He didn't waste another second, chasing after Iria instead where Zero was left in the room alone, a smirk now plastered on his lips, "Sweet sweet Iria, I've only just begun".
"Iria!" she was down the hall, still running as she tried escaping from Hector's sight.
"Leave me alone!"
"Iria! Wait!" she turned a corner on the hall, giving him an idea where he took another route.
She looked back, seeing nobody behind her, a sigh of relief escaped her lips, "Gotcha!"
Her body jolted from the scare, causing a shooken up Iria to fall back on the ground, he tried helping her up but she scooted back across the floor, "Stay away from me!"
"Iria….." he frowned when he saw how viciously her body was trembling, "...What did he do to you?"
She couldn't hold her tears in and let loose on them again, "Please….just leave me alone…..all of you…"
He reached his hand towards her but she stiffened up, shutting her eyes tight in fear, forcing Hector to pull his hand back, "Iria…." his voice was more firm this time, she relaxed her eyes, allowing them to open and face a serious Hector.
"What. did. ". the sentence wasn't a question but rather more a demand of answers.
It was too much for her to say, the embarrassment, the pain, all she could do was turn away and avoid all contact with him, but it was enough for him to see the piercing wounds inflicted on her neck from Zero's bite, tiny specks of blood had appeared within them.
His fists tightened, anger building more and more as the thoughts of what happened behind those doors kept playing through his head, "That bastard won't get away with it, I swear, he'll never lay another hand on you again".
Her sobs grew louder, she wanted to hide, but all she could do was arch forward and bury her face into her palms, he didn't care, wrapping his arms around the crying girl in a comforting motion, allowing her to cry all she wanted, no exchange of words, just a moment of weeping silence.
(One Month Later)
They stood when Yun entered, taking a seat right after he did so in his throne, "So it begins, the first trial of the new year, I wonder….does this kid have what it takes to beat Charlotte?"
Victoria frowned, "I hope Charlotte's ok…..she's seemed a bit jittery these past few days".
Eric laughed, "That just means she's been strategizing really hard and coming up with a new battle technique, I'm sure she'll be fine!"
"Yun….." Michael's eyes were settled something completely different, something across from them.
"...Why are the Elites here?"
A smirk followed on the King's lips, "I invited them…..I want them to see how much stronger the Frontiers have become, starting with Charlotte".
Mika scoffed, "I really don't want to be here".
"Y-yeah….I don't want to be here either". Hector's mind was set on other things, specifically a certain someone, Iria, and the events that happened with another certain someone, his leer was still full of hatred towards Zero.
Luciana remained calm, sitting in her seat and staring across the field towards the Frontier's balcony, "It's rude to turn down an invitation".
"The queen is right, besides, watching a trial match is always interesting". She appreciated Celebrant's compliance.
Dakota had remained silent the entire time, eyes focused only on the field where neither opponent was still present, *Charlotte…..the last time we battled….I lost…..*
"Are you ready?"
"Never been more ready in my life".
"Who's gonna be the best!"
"I am!"
He stepped out of his room, making his way down the halls of the stadium, emerging through the bright lights shining down on him.
"And here's Charlotte's competitor! Leonardo Ortiz who came so close to beating the Shield Eric a month ago, but if he wants that rematch with a full six on six, he's going to have to take out the Frontier's exquisite Diamond, Charlotte!"
Michael leaned over to Yun who stared down in amusement, "Do you think he's going to beat Charlotte?"
"It's possible, but then again, they did have a month to prep for this battle, it's anyone's win".
"Let's go Charlotte!" he shouted, rooting for his ally who kept their eyes focused on Leonardo.
"Go Charlotte!" Victoria shouted.
"Show him what the Diamonds made of!" howled Eric pumping his fist into the air.
"Alright….this is it…" he looked down at his pokeball, throwing it up along with Charlotte who did the same.
"Gallade!"
"Absol!"
Both Pokemon had struck defensive poses, immediately sparking a rivalry, *So the Diamond has an Absol too…..I wonder, is it anything like Eric's?*
"Dig". it quickly burrowed into the ground.
"Gallade use-".
They rose their hand up, bringing it down and straight towards Gallade, "Aerial Ace".
It rapidly sprung up, whipping it's head to the side where it struck Gallade upwards into the air with it's head scythe.
"G-gallade!"
"And a quick start for the Frontier Charlotte!" the crowd was pumped.
He stared up at his Gallade, petrified by Absol's speed and the smirk on Charlotte's lips, "No way….."
"Stay strong Gallade! Use Psycho cut!" it gained control of its motion, now spinning upwards into the air as it's blades doubled in size, now firing multiple crescent shaped blades of purple energy down towards Absol.
"Use Psycho cut too".
It whipped its head to the side, repeating the same thing as Gallade which had caused both attacks to clash and explode in midair.
They took out their pokeball, holding it up towards Absol who looked back at them, "Return".
"What! What is she doing?!" Leonardo looked at his Gallade who shrugged, he bit down on his lip, anxiously awaiting for Charlotte's next move.
"What is she pulling?" mumbled Michael, folding his arms together as he curiously stared down at his ally.
Yun held his head back, leaning comfortably back in his seat, "If my hunch is right, Charlotte's just getting things out of the way".
"I don't get it". Victoria quirked an eyebrow.
Eric took in a deep breath, "I do, Charlotte's Absol is her ultimate weapon, she's preserving it until the end".
"It seems Charlotte has recalled her pokemon, but why so early?! What kind of tricks does she have up her sleeve!"
They pulled out another pokeball, "Shiftry, go". A frightening figure had taken form behind the light.
"What is she doing?" scoffed Troy, a bit unsettled by Charlotte's immediate switch.
Russell gaped, being also confused, "I…...I don't even know why she would switch out so early".
"Maybe it's part of her plan?" questioned Rosebella, also slightly confused as to where Charlotte's intentions lied.
"Shiftry!" it growled, trying to put a strong front out for everyone.
"I don't know what you're pulling but I'm not falling for it!" he shot his hand forward.
"Use Psyshock!" it jumped up into the air, doing a front flip as it crossed both of it's blades over the other, releasing a trio of massive thick blue energy orbs.
They aimed straight down on Shiftry who seemed not even concerned, just taking the hit while Charlotte watched expressionless.
"What's this? No attack or order from the Frontier?!"
"Shift…." it remained standing, not even a scratch detected on it's body.
"Use Leaf storm". it jumped into the air, swiping it's leaf like arms in a hypnotizing manner, leaving the audience entranced as leaves engulfed with a bright neon green energy appeared all around the arena, circling around both pokemon in a rapid vortex.
"G-gallade!" it was being cut repeatedly by Leaf storm which had fastened it's winds.
He covered his face from the winds, trying to avoid any of the leaves heading his way, "Use vacuum wave!"
It's bladed arms had extended out, allowing Gallade to quickly spin through the air, ripping and tearing through every leaf in it's way and ramming directly into Shiftry who took it on, grabbing a hold of Gallade as it allowed itself to be tackled.
"Giga drain!" a beam of green energy extended from shiftry's body and quickly enveloped Gallade who screeched when it's power was being drained away.
"Get away!" shouted Leonardo, clenching his teeth down when Charlotte gave him a snarky smile.
"Gallade!" it pulled away, holding out it's blades defensively when Shiftry angled it's foot over at it, countering off the pokemon's bladed arms.
"Use X-scissor!" it raced back down towards Gallade, swiping both of it's glowing leaf like blades down at its opponent, sending it shooting further down from the sky.
"Jump and use leaf blade!" it blocked Shiftry's attack, sending the ninja pokemon up towards the sky where it swiped it's blade once more, being dodged by Shiftry again.
"Seed bomb!" it fired multiple bombs towards Gallade who used its blades to cut right through them.
"Vacuum wave!" it spun rapidly through the air, turning itself into a deadly twister which had pummeled straight into Shiftry like before.
"Self destruct".
"Huh!"
He watched as his opponent's pokemon turned red with a glowing vibe, it released a blinding powerful light, one which was enough to blind the entire audience and force them to cover their ears from the screeching piercing explosion.
"Augh!" he was blown back onto the ground from the winds sheer power conjured through the explosion.
"G-gallade". it was on it's knees, weakly holding on until it couldn't no more, eventually dropping face first onto the floor.
"Wow! Both pokemon are down on the ground! Leaving both trainers with now five pokemon each!"
"Thanks Gallade". he looked at his pokeball contently, then back up towards Charlotte with a cold leer.
They pulled out another pokeball, throwing it up in the air, "Doublade, Let's go".
The crowd awed at the beauty of her steel type, it's blade's crossing and forming perfectly in synch, "Dou!"
He held his next pokeball out, throwing it high up.
"Infernape! You're up!"
He smirked upon hearing the screams of the crowd when his Infernape growled, releasing a pit of fire into the air.
"Iron defense". the twin swords flipped, aligning themselves back again with a more cleaner and shinier coat.
"Flamethrower!" it released a stream of deadly fire.
"Slice it, then use aerial ace". he was left dumb stricken when they cut right through Infernape's fire attack, leaving a shower of beautiful red light over the steel type which had raced over to Infernape as they switched positions, now pointing the tips of their blades ahead and then flipping, releasing a duo of blue crescent shaped energy blasts.
"It's beautiful!" cried Rosebella, fawning over the beautiful move.
"The precision, the clean cut, the synchronization of it all is just perfect!" Exclaimed Blake, unable to take his eyes off of Charlotte's pokemon.
Dakota took a deep breath in, "That Doublades amazing, more amazing than the last time I took Charlotte on".
"Break through them with thunder punch!" he imitated his pokemon's actions, both of them now shooting a fist as the fire type broke through both aerial aces, leaving the crowd in utter excitement.
"Use Shadow sneak". it remained still, yet a dark figure dropped to the ground below it, sinking deep into the ground.
"Keep your focus infernape! We have to avoid it at any costs!"
"Infernape!" it's feet were tied and bound by the shadows which rose up from underneath, lifting the fire type up into the air as it swung it around.
"Get away from it!" he shouted, watching as his pokemon was continuously swung around the arena.
They swiped their arm vertically, "Sacred sword".
The twin blades were engulfed in a purple light, causing both of the swords to extend and massively grow in size, riling the crowd up as they were familiar with their technique.
The shadows had stopped, now holding Infernape upside down, a fairly large drop to the ground, "In…..infernape". it was dizzy from all the spinning.
"Finish it!" they shouted, smirking when Doublade raced across the arena, dragging both of its enlarged blades across the ground which had traced heavily, sparks were being released from the friction as they lifted up, aiming straight towards the fire type.
He had his fists up, using every bit of his breath, "Infernape! Block it!"
The shadow wisps keeping a hold on him were burned from the flames being emitted from his body, it crossed both of it's arms in front, blocking Doublades attack which was proving hard to do, now keeping both pokemon in a standoff.
"H-he blocked it….." mumbled Eric, staring in shock at Leonardo who had a smirk towards Charlotte.
"Hmph". chuckled Leonard, impressed by his partner's tactic, a frown quickly appeared when Levy cuddled up beside him in his seat.
"Focus punch!" he imitated his pokemon again, bringing their fist down which had struck Doublade in the center of where it's swords intersected, sending the steel type pummeling to the ground with an ear cringing utterance.
"...*****...". they whispered, keeping their tone low enough for only there pokemon to hear.
It's body became outline in purple, releasing a light which quickly took over Infernape, unaffecting it and leaving Leonardo confused, *What the hell was that?*
Dakota's eyes widened, "Uh-oh….I know that".
The other Elites looked at her, "You do?" asked Celebrant.
She nodded, "…...it was the same move she pulled on me, it's a nasty trick but also very smart when you're trying to lessen the number's easily".
"Aerial ace!" they shouted, lifting their hand once more for command.
"Doublade!" it quickly shot back up from the ground, rotating it's blade's forward as it released another twin crescent shaped attack.
"Flamethrower!" it parted it's mouth wide open, releasing a deadly flamethrower which clashed with aerial ace.
"Go!" he shouted, striking a fist in the air.
It released a massive roar, overpowering Aerial ace and Doublade who was trapped within the fire.
"Yes!" Shouted Leonard, being joined in by the rest of the stadium who cheered for Infernape.
"Look at it go!" exclaimed Troy, getting pumped himself from the match.
"I need to take this guy on myself". chuckled Russell, also being pumped from the match.
"That light". murmured Rose, looking over at Blake who nodded, also having hunches as to what the light from earlier was before.
Tyler smirked, keeping his eyes on Leonardo and his Infernape, "Would you look at that, underneath that petty drunk and dense idiot there's a pretty good battler".
A large explosion erupted from the fire, leaving a cloud of smoke to block the audience's view of Doublade and Infernape.
Everything was quiet as they all waited to see the results, "D-doublade….."
"And Doublade is unable to battle, leaving Charlotte with now four pokemon! How will she do with her opponent having fiv-wait! What's this?!"
The purple light from earlier reappeared on Infernape, zapping him uncontrollably and then releasing a sharp beam of energy from above the sky to strike down on the fire type, "Infernape!"
A purple mist rose up from it's body, taking the form of sharp menacing eyes which had then vanished into the air, leaving Infernape unconscious on the ground beside Doublade.
"And both pokemon are out! It seems Leonard and Charlotte are down to four pokemon each!"
"But…...how?" he recalled his pokemon, looking down at his pokeball and then at Charlotte who had a sly leer.
They had recalled their pokemon, "Destiny Bond, pretty neat, huh".
A small growl escaped from underneath his breath, "Damn…..she got me good".
Charlotte pulled out another pokeball, flinging it up in the air, "Meowstic!"
Something clicked in his head, "Perfect".
He threw his next pokeball up, "Heracross! It's all you!"
Both pokemon took the field, staring at one another silently, the same with their trainers.
"Future sight". It's ears extended out, glowing in a pattern from within while releasing an electrified amount of psychic energy through the five wormholes that appeared above in the sky.
"Future sight huh…..that gives us about two turns before they hit". he grinned at his opponent.
"Night slash!"
"Heracross!" it hissed, holding out both of its claws which extended out, being covered in a dark energy.
"Meow!" it looked back at Charlotte, noticing the nod they gave it.
"Did you see that?" Eira quickly scooted to the edge of her seat, the others looked at her.
"What are you talking about?" Harvey quirked an eyebrow.
She stayed quiet, looking back over at the group, all eyes on her as they waited for a response, "N-nothing".
The bug type quickly charged towards Meowstic who had stood still, taking on the attack which had sent it crashing against the wall, not a single expression showed through Charlotte's face.
His teeth had gritted together. *That easily? What the hell's going on!*
"Use Psyshock". it struggled to get up, but gathered all of its strength to do so. A light blue glow surrounded it's body as a blinding beam of colorful light shot out from it's eyes, striking directly towards Heracross who was hit, taking barely any damage.
"Mega horn Heracross!" the horn on it's head had turned bright green in color, it charged again, ramming straight into Meowstic who was pummeled against the wall once more, it's cries not once affecting Charlotte who remained indifferent.
Hector slammed his hands down onto the balconies railing, "I don't understand! What the hell's going on!"
Celebrant remained calm, looking over to the young Elite whose gaze had become intense on Charlotte, "Dakota….does anything come to mind?"
She shook her head, "No, and what's weird is…..Charlotte seems a lot more stronger than before, so why is she letting her pokemon get beaten so easily?"
Mika stood up, making her way to the edge of the balcony as she stared down at the match,
"Something's not right".
"What do you think Luciana?" Asked Zero.
She stiffened a chuckle, "Maybe it's all part of her plan".
"Meowstic is unable to battle! It seems Charlotte just didn't bring her battling skills today!"
"Just what is she doing?! Is she out of her mind?!" scoffed Michael, glaring venomously at Charlotte, Yun placed his hand on the Joker's shoulder, seating him back down.
"You have yet to see how the Frontier's really work". he remained silent after that, now looking at his team members who seemed calm to the situation, having their eyes and attention on the battle.
"What kind of battle is this!" he demanded, his fists were tightening to the point where they were turning white.
"What do you mean?" they asked, tilting their head curiously for effect.
"Stop it! You know damn well what I mean! I want a battle! A real battle!"
Charlotte pulled out her next pokeball, "Staraptor, you're up".
They let it roll off there hands, allowing for the bird pokemon to come out and take to the sky, "You know…..". there eyes met with Leonardo's, clashing ever so venomously.
"...It's never good to assume things right off the bat, Let's go Staraptor! Brave bird!" it soared above in circles, immediately shooting straight down with it's wings tucked under, it's body was quickly engulfed in fire and then coated with a powerful blue light.
"Dod-". Staraptor struck down on Heracross before he could even finish his command, leaving the brunette to heavily shield his face from the powerful gusts blowing his way due to the impact.
"Ngh…...H-heracross!" he peeked through the small opening in his arms, seeing his pokemon on the floor just barely hanging on.
Blake's head was bobbing back and forth, "Whoa…..this battle just get's even more and more confusing".
"Her pokemon have incredible speed though…..". murmured Troy, focusing deeply on the Frontier's pokemon.
"Star-!" it flinched, being struck with the aftermath of it's bravebird, yet it continued soaring above the bug type, waiting for it to get up.
"You want a real battle? I don't think you're ready for one". they snapped their fingers over to Heracross, eyes turning so cold that he could no longer keep eye contact with them.
*She….she's giving off a completely different vibe…what does it mean?*
Ok so that is where I will end this chapter, I actually intended to put the entire battle in one chapter but it was really long and the whole chapter together extends to over 40 pages so I decided to split it apart, I will be posting the second part very soon, I just need to add a few more details and type out a few more plots, I really hope you guys liked it and please let me know what you all thought in a review, I'm looking forward to all your opinions especially in the next chapter (muahahaha!)
