chapter 22:
Sesshomaru's point of view:
"Miko don't move." I commanded, my voice becoming colder with each word.
I fought a shudder at her response, "Why? What's wrong Sessho?"
"Sessho? HAHAHA! What's wrong youki? Afraid I will hurt my worthless reincarnation?" The clay priestess walked into the clearing.
"Kikyo. What are you-" my chosen one started.
"Hush you know why I'm here so don't waste your breathe. You don't have much more of it after all." She smirked, interrpting.
I heard her teeth grit and hid my aura, close to losing to my beast. My pup groaned.
"Miss Kikyo this again really?" He whined.
Losing my patience at the weariness in his voice, i warned "Kit watch your tone."
She notched and arrow and prepared to fire. Just as her arrow was about to hit us it suddenly went above the five of us. I smelt blood and looked at Kagome, my eyes widened seeing her nose bleed.
she muttered "Oh terrific." suddenly her own aura was everywhere and it flexed around the undead one.
She growled out "Kikyo is there a different reason besides InuYasha and your soul you hate me for?"
She just laughed "Like what you useless copy?"
Kagome smirkedd dakly and suddenly her aura burst and her holy magic surrounded her in a purple glow. Panic swam through me.
"KAGOOOMMMEEE!" i yelled.
"Lord Sesshomaru it's okay! It's momma's abilities not Kikyo's." The kit declared and Kagome smiled.
'Kagome's? So she isn't in danger? But she's unarmed except for her mike abilities and those can't hurt humans, not even undead ones…. can they?' I thought, now curious about the one I chose to be my mate.
I watched as her reiki cuddled with Shippo, enveloped me, and even my soldiers but the undead one, Kikyo, seemed really uncomfortable.
'Could it really be hurting her?' i thought, amazed at the amount of power my intended seemed to possess.
