Hello again! Thanks for your continued support with this story. I'm having so much fun writing it - I hope you're having just as much fun reading!

New readers can find the most recent story summary in chapter 6

Reminders: I sometimes get confused between all of the versions of Winx (original, 4Kids, Nickelodeon, and Rai). No plots/characters/transformations/etc from the second half of season 5 and later will be included. I am aware there is now a Mythix transformation in the show - the Mythix transformation in this story was created before, therefore, it has no relation. I haven't watched Winx in a very long time, so some of my knowledge might be rusty. Please correct if you see anything wrong. Question: I read somewhere that the Dragon Flame was transferred from Daphne to Bloom once Bloom was born. I am not too sure if that is true, can someone confirm? Either way, in this story, Daphne was the keeper of the Dragon Flame until the moment Bloom was sent to Earth. To protect the Flame and her sister, Daphne sent both away. Thank you.

Sorry for such a short chapter! I was short to making my 3000 word goal by a few hundred words, but I never really figured out where to add in some extra paragraphs. You'll have to excuse me for that!

Anyways, enjoy the chapter.

The Obvious Wishes

"I am so sorry, Nick," Bloom cried. "I should have been there for her." Her whole body physically hurt from hearing about Aisha's alternate life. Bloom could feel her heart hurting as she thought of her best friend.

"Now, you're sounding like me," he muttered. He pulled away from their embrace and wiped the tears away from Bloom's face. "There." Bloom felt a faint smile cross her face.

The two had been sitting on Bloom's bed for hours. It was already the middle of the night, almost morning. Bloom let Nick get all of his emotions out, and vice versa. The pain between both of them was unbearable. They each had lost someone they truly cared about, even though they cared about her in different worlds.

"I'm sorry," Bloom whispered finally.

"It's not your fault, sis," Nick pointed out, removing his own tears. Bloom sighed, her face falling.

She wanted to go back to her world. Screw this stupid wish. She just wanted to go back in time and prevent herself from messing up everything. Bloom wasn't prepared to live in this nightmare world for the rest of her life. She wanted to have her powers back, she wanted to have Aisha back, and she wanted her life back.

Even though Bloom was in pain, she set a goal for herself.

She was going to go back.

No matter what.

She couldn't live in a world without Aisha. She would sacrifice anything to get her back.

Bloom refused to continue in this alternate universe.

"Hey," Nick whispered, seeing her emotions dip, "What's wrong?"

"N-nothing," the fire fairy stammered. Nick shook his head.

"We're both all sappy now – you can open up to me." He brushed some of her hair off her face. "Why is it that you can't remember anything today? You're acting like a different person. And that non-magical planet – how did you know it was there? Who were those people? You called them mom and dad…" he recalled. Bloom shuffled.

"It's not important," she lied. Nick shook his head.

"I know that isn't true," he pointed out. "Bloom, please, tell me. I am really worried about you."

Bloom shifted uneasily, biting her lip nervously. Did she really want to tell him what was going on? Did she want to tell him why she was acting like a completely different person? Answer: it was because she was a completely different person.

"Bloomie," Nick whined, clearly distressed. "Pleaaaaaaaaase!?"

"Oh, Dragon," Bloom groaned. She pushed down her feelings that shouted to her to run, finally deciding it was time to tell her brother. "Nick, can you keep a secret?"

"Man, with the amount of secrets you are telling me today, I could be named Nikolaos, Domino's Official Secret Keeper," he joked. Bloom glared. "Okay, sorry. Of course, Bloom. When would I never keep a secret?" Bloom sighed and nodded her head.

"What I'm going to tell you, you'll find very hard to believe."

"I doubt that," Nick admitted. Bloom narrowed her eyes.

"Trust me." Nick just nodded his head. "You have to promise not to freak out."

"Yes, Bloom, I promise. You're freaking me out here…" Nick mumbled. Bloom groaned and ran her hand through her short locks.

"Okay. Here it goes." She took a deep breath and closed her eyes. "Earlier, you told me like I was acting like a different person. What would you say if I told you that… I am?"

"You are what?" Nick asked.

"A different person. I'm not the same person I was yesterday."

"I know. That's what I said," Nick insisted. "You're acting all weird and-"

"No." Bloom rolled her eyes. "Like literally. I'm literally a different person." Silence. "What would you say?"

"I would say that you've lost it!" Nick pointed out. "What? Are you serious, Bloom!?" He got off of the bed and began pacing around the room. Bloom felt her heart sink. How did she knew that this was going to happen? "You're joking, right?"

She felt so stupid. Why would she have thought that she could have trusted this young man? He wasn't here brother here – he wouldn't understand.

"Yeah," she mumbled. "Just joking. Ha, ha, I'm so funny." Bloom barely made herself sound convincing. Nick stopped pacing and running his hand through his hair, turning towards the upset fairy on the bed.

"No, you're not," Nick decided. He walked towards her quickly. "I see it in your eyes. You're telling the truth."

"Yeah, I'm telling the truth about it being a joke," Bloom lied. Nick narrowed his eyes and sat down beside her again.

"You are such a liar," Nick determined. "You actually think you're not from here." Bloom glared at Nick's comment.

"What do you mean?" Bloom snapped. "I think?! Oh, no, buddy, I know!"

"So you were lying!" Nick pointed out. Bloom let out a huff of air and folded her arms.

"You wouldn't understand," she said, repeating her thoughts from earlier. Nick frowned and took Bloom's hand.

"Maybe I wouldn't agree, but that doesn't mean I won't try to understand," he told her gently. Bloom closed her eyes. "Bloom, I'm here. Please."

The fire fairy really didn't want to say anything. She wasn't prepared to talk to Nick about this. She wasn't prepared to say anything about this.

"No."

"Bloom."

"No!"

"Blooooooooooooooooooom."

The red haired girl glared.

"Nick, I really don't want to!" she insisted. He stared at her for a long moment before reaching into his pocket. "What are you doing?"

"I found something online and I want to show you," he said. He pulled out his phone and unlocked it. He flicked on the hologram projector before handing it to his sister.

Nick had called up the front cover of Weekly Fairy, a popular magazine in the universe. On the front, a young woman and older man sat together in the grass, with a young boy between them.

Bloom's eyes widened and focused back on the couple in the grass.

The man sat beside the woman, his arms wrapped securely around her shoulders. His hair was dark brown, with grey flecks. A golden crown perched on his head, sparking in the sunlight. He had a beard that covered his chin, with dark grey stands lacing it. His eyes were dark brown, just like his hair. They held tenderness in them as he stared intently into the camera. His outfit was a dark brown dress shirt, paired with black slacks. Muscles were visible under the fabric of the shirt. Bloom had to admit that he looked handsome, but looked much too old for her. She imagined he would be in his fifties.

The woman had platinum blonde hair that wrapped around her head in a crown braid. Stands of bright red flowers were laced along side her hair, giving a striking contrast to her pale complexion. A few stands of her glowing hair hung around her face, framing it perfectly. Just like the man, on top of her head sat a beautiful golden crown. Her eyes were a sparking caramel.

Her outfit hung to her curves nicely, but left a lot to the imagination. It was a sheer baby blue dress, covering every inch of her body from her neck to her ankles, as well as down to her wrists. There was a white material underneath the sheer, covering her body from her collarbones, down to her knees. A brown belt clinched the fabric around her waist.

In her arms, a young boy lay. His hair was dark brown, much like the man's. His eyes were closed, giving the impression that he was peacefully sleeping.

Bloom had to admit, this family was all very gorgeous.

"I don't get it," Bloom told Nick after staring at the picture for a long moment. Somewhere inside of her, she felt a nagging feeling. It was almost as if she should recognize the family.

"Read the cover," Nick instructed. Bloom's eyes left the family and found the words.

Along the side of the cover, it read; Presenting Crown Prince Clash of Solaria.

Bloom's eyes narrowed and her eyebrows pushed together.

"But Stella is-" Her voice dropped off and her whole body froze. She could feel her heart beating faster. It felt like she was about to faint.

Queen Stella of Solaria and King Bane of Solaria reveal all about Crown Prince Clash.

She couldn't think.

She couldn't breath.

That woman sitting on the grass was Stella!? It was Stella!?

Her eyes flicked back to the photo. She would admit that the caramel eyes looked exactly like her friend, but that is almost where the resemblance stopped. Her hair was much lighter and she had a much colder complexion that what she knew. But it was her, no mistake. Her eyes said it all.

"I-" Bloom couldn't even speak.

"I remember you mentioning earlier something about your friend Stella. Stella of Solaria. That's her. And, actually, it is Queen Stella of Solaria." Nick pointed to the woman. "And that's her husband, King Bane of Solaria." He pointed to the man. "And that is their new child, Crown Prince Clash of Solaria." He gestured to the baby in Stella's arms.

Bloom's head spun. It felt like she was going to get sick.

Stella as queen!? Stella was married!? Stella was a mother!?

Bloom felt the room tipping to the side. Her breath was caught in her throat and she couldn't get it out.

"Whoa!" Nick took hold of Bloom's shoulders, steadying her on the bed before she fell onto him. Her eyes swam with tears, blurring her vision. It was so hard to see. "Hey, Bloom, it's okay." She shook with fear.

"I- can't br-" she struggled to speak. Nick pulled her into a hug, sending comfort to her.

"Shhhhhh," he cooed, holding her tightly. "Just take deep breaths. It'll be okay. Just calm down." Bloom sucked in air through her clenched teeth. Slowly, her heart rate began to decrease and her breaths came easier. "There, that's perfect, Bloom. Just focus on me. Focus on my heart." Bloom pressed closer to her brother, focusing on the strong heartbeat against her ear.

Slow and steady.

Bloom sucked in a deep breath of air and focused on the rhythm of Nick's heart and his breathing.

Bloom couldn't even think past the fact that her best friend was queen of her planet, a wife, and a mother. What else had changed?

Bloom thought that her day couldn't get any worse than what it had been. She lost her birth family, her adoptive family, and Aisha. The fire fairy couldn't imagine anything else going wrong!

Of course, that wasn't the case.

It almost looked as if she wasn't friends with Stella.

"How do you know her?" Nick asked Bloom once it was obvious she had calmed down enough.

"What?"

"How do you know Stella?" Nick questioned. Bloom closed her eyes and tensed her shoulders.

Screw it.

"She's my best friend," Bloom said. Nick laughed.

"No, Bloom, she isn't," he pointed out. Bloom frowned. "I don't think I've ever seen her before, other than those times she has been on a magazine."

Stella wasn't her best friend.

Bloom felt sick again, but she pushed it down.

"I-"

"No," Nick interrupted her with the shake of his head. "No. Not possible."

"What?" Bloom questioned, pulling away from him. His eyes were wide, showing his fear. "Nick, what's wrong?"

"You're telling the truth," Nick muttered. "You aren't from here…" Bloom closed her eyes. She couldn't see his fear.

"…Yes," she muttered slowly. Nick sucked in a sharp breath of air and removed his arms from her shoulders. "I- I-"

"No," Nick pressed his finger to Bloom's lips, shushing her. "Don't speak. I just need to… I just need to take this all in." Bloom shifted away from her brother, keeping her eyes closed tightly. Her heart was beating wildly in her chest.

What a messed up day she was having.

What a nightmare she was living in.

She knew she shouldn't have trusted Nick. He probably thought she was nuts right now. What did they do to crazy people on Domino? Electric chair? Dragon taming?

Bloom really didn't want to find out.

She should have just kept her mouth shut. Now, she just ruined her live even more. Now, she was going to lose the only person that had stuck by her side all day. She barely knew this man, yet he had been the one that made her day feel real. Her heart broke at the thought of losing this man, all due to her stupidity.

"Prove it." Bloom's eyes snapped open, meeting his gaze. "Prove to me that you're not from this world."

"Wha- How?" Bloom questioned. Nick shrugged.

"I don't know. Tell me about your world."

"But couldn't I just make stuff up as I'm going?" Bloom questioned. He shrugged his shoulders.

"How about I just cast a truth spell on you?" he suggested. "It'll tell me when you're not truthful."

"No, Nick, I don't think that's a good idea…" Bloom shifted uneasily. Nick groaned, rubbing his head.

"I just want to help you," Nick said, gently. "If you don't want to talk about it, that's okay, but I am here to help you. I'm not going to judge you on anything. I know something is up – wouldn't you rather have me on the in than on the out?"

"What? On the in or out?" Bloom questioned.

"Like, don't you want my help covering your tracks? So far, you're not doing too good of a job, no offence." Bloom narrowed her eyes. "If you really aren't from this world, wouldn't you want to go back home? Or, heck, even figure out what is going on in this world? You've gotten some knowledge out of me, but, honestly, you seem pretty clueless still."

"Hey!" Bloom defended herself, but she knew the truth. Nick was right. She wasn't doing a very good job at blending in around here. She wasn't even trying! All she had been doing was focusing on her old life. If she was being honest with herself, that's all she could focus on right now.

"I will be here to talk, Bloomie," Nick told her softly. "I am not going to force you to say anything. If you do wish to speak, I'll be in my room." He got up to leave, but Bloom caught his wrist.

As their eyes met, Bloom felt like she was jolted awake. Of course everything he was saying made sense! She needed someone to talk to – she needed someone that knew her life. He could help her find a way back to her home.

She needed him.

Before she divulged any information, she decided to ask him a question.

"Nick, did you recognize any of the other girls in my memory?" she asked. Nick turned to face her, a sad smile on his face.

"Other than Aisha, no. Well, now I know the blonde one was Stella. Same eyes." Bloom's heart dropped.

Fear overtook her once again and she struggled to maintain her breathing.

She could not let fear consume her. Fear didn't own her. She owned it.

The princess nodded and brought Nick to sit beside her.

"You don't know Tecna of Zenith?" Nick shook his head. "Musa of Melody?" Again, he shook his head. With each negative response, her heart grew heavier and heavier with worry. "Flora of Linphea?"

"Linphea?" Nick repeated. Bloom shifted. She felt heavy with sadness. He didn't know the Winx Club. What had happened in this world!?

"Yeah, it's a planet that is focused on nature an-"

"Uh… Bloom? I know." Nick laughed. Bloom's eyebrows drew together, once again in confusion. Nick's smile fell off her face. "Wow. You really don't know anything."

"Ouch."

"I didn't mean it like that," the prince pointed out. "Let's get this truth spell on you!" He waved his hand over her body, a green glow covering her skin. "Alright. Whenever you are ready to talk, I'm ready." Bloom nodded and sucked in a deep breath.

Then, she told him everything.

I hope you all are starting to trust Nick, just like Bloom is... Or maybe you shouldn't trust him... I mean, do we really know him? Just saying...
