Draco Malfoy's Favourite Food
Draco Malfoy ran, rolled, flipped, crawled and often slithered through the halls of Malfoy Manor, his eyes alert and watchful. It was essential that he not be seen by anyone, portrait or person, as he made his way down to the kitchens at 11:00 at night. He often snuck to the kitchens both at school and at home, to have some of his favourite food. How he wished he could carry some around in a plastic bag tucked away in his robes ready to snack on when a teacher wasn't looking, the way Crabbe, Goyle, and Blaise did with Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans. Sadly, his reputation as a Malfoy prevented him from even looking at them without some expression of distaste.
With a final backflip over a floor to mid-wall portrait of his mother and father on their wedding day, Draco entered the kitchens with a sigh of relief. He flopped down in one of the well cushioned dining chairs that surrounded a large glass table, as a House Elf approached him.
"The usual, for the young Master?" She said squeakily, bowing deeply.
"Yes thank you, Pinks." Draco replied with a small smile. He settled himself comfortably in his chair, knowing that he may have to wait awhile, for his favourite food was kept right in the back of the House Elves store cupboard, so it was not served at a family function by mistake. He amused himself by watching the House-Elves clean and prepare their own meals.
Pinks came toddling towards him, weighed down with a small silver tray, on which stood a small heavy looking green china bowl. Draco thanked her as she set the tray down in front of him, then left to continue her duties. Draco reached into the bowl, and picked up one of its contents.
Draco Malfoy smiled as he put the Lemon Drop in his mouth.
