Part II
'Forget having a plan, Ichigo didn't even know how he was going to do it. His powers were combat based, meaning that he didn't even know how he was supposed to perform without destroying the whole curdjard. He couldn't use is swords to perfom in fear of the destruction they could and would cause, leaving only one last option left that would at least look halfway impressive, kido.
Kido which, if one recalled correctly had destructive consequences of its own. It would be probably best to use defensive kido to impress the crowd, but his arsenal was poor to begin with and most tended to still explode in his face if he didn't concentrate enough.
He could also try to use his quincy abilities, but sadly his knowledge of his quincy powers were even poorer than his knowledge over kido. The only way he saw himself even halfway succeeding was if he practiced the act which was almost impossible to begin with since Louise had only told him about the pending performence this very night, half a day before said perfomance was to take place.
Maybe he could just shot some ceros in the sky and be done with the whole sharade, but it would probably shatter Louise's shortly gained self-confidence to dust. Meaning, it had to look good, and he had to do someting impressive that didn't kill the crowd in one swift move.
What were the options again? Using huge or even midly powerful reiatsu moves was already out of question, since they could crush the crowd to a messy smear on the field, which was counter productive. Hollow powers were out of questions for the very same reason, even just activating them would probably already cause mass hysterics. Sword moves were to powerful as well and swordmanship would probably bore the mages. They were save but sadly unimpressive for the novice eyes.
That truly left only his kido and his quincy powers, which were unstable at best and just as destructive at worse.
So his options were to either crush, slice, dismember, rip, tear, pierce or burn the crowd, hurray. ( What great options ;D )
If these were the solutions, than he really wanted his problem back, but that would mean that he would land at step one again, which didn't really help him at all. He should think about the real problem first, before he made anymore attemps to create the act.
Which was more important, the lives of dozen humans, or the self-cofidence of his newly aquired sister Louise. A sigh escaped his lips, the answer was obvious, Which meant that he would have to think about a way to make sure dozen of humans survived while he performed. Which meant he was back to step one. Let it not be said that he didn't care about the lives of other people, but his family and friends would always come first. Still, killing was bad and he would take no pleasure in it so it would be best to avoid killing with all his stren..., he meant with as little strength as possible.
Well he did have that one kido spell which, at least when he used it, created a dozen lightballs to lighten the surroundings. He could try to shot the balls or make them crash into each other, whichever worked best. From what he had learned those balls had no devensive or offensive abilities, well expect to maybe blind the enemy. And maybe he could create a few cero balls as well to make it a bit more colorful, but the questions about the effects the collision of light and cero balls would cause could be said to be wirtten in the stars.
Well, why the hell not, if worse came to worse, he would just flash step the whole crowd away before the explosion reashed them, theoretical that is.
Another sigh left his lips and Ichigo decided that enough thinking was enough. More often than not he was a guy of action anyways. Maybe an idea would come to him after a good night of rest and if not, he would try to use his awesome speed techniques to make a hasty retreat with Louise, so they couldn't execute them for murdering the princess and the new Generation of nobles. Only time would tell.'
Sorry, you probably noticed already but I don't really possess a functioning computer or laptop with a writing programm right now. I wrote this using WordPad, which can be easily seen trough the onehundred and fifteen grammar mistakes throughout this short text. Another reason I am not really updating any of my stories is the huge workload that my academic studies created.
Wrote this in Ichigos percpective, if you liked the old perspective more, please comment :)
Hope you enjoyed the short chapter; Comments are welcome but not mandatory,
