After I talked to Lucy, about something I wanted to ask her about, why she was always writing letters to her mother, then she told me, "I write them because they help me keep close to her." I started to think when she told me that, why don't I try writing a letter to you Ul to see if that helps me.
Dear Ul, my all-time favourite teacher,
I don't really know why I'm writing you this letter, when I know you died to stop me from fighting Deliora and I'm so so very sorry, Ul, I didn't want anyone to die because of me, well I'm just going to tell you some of the things I've done and I hope you're happy.
I have travelled and found a guild called Fairy Tail; I joined the guild, it was so much fun but I was also looking for a way to free you from the Iced Shell. When I was told they was no way to free someone I was so sad, but I know you would want me to train to become a better Ice-maker mage.
After some years, I joined a team with Natsu, Happy, Ezra and Lucy.
We are the strongest team any one has seen in Fairy Tail. It was so much fun being in the team but we did have our ups and downs, but that's normal, right?….
Well I better get going because I'm going on a mission with the team.
Oh, the one person that gave me this idea was Lucy, she told me this helped her to stay close to her mother so I just thought I'll give it a try and it did help a lot.

When I was done writing the letter, I stood up to walk over to my safe that I hide under my bed. I was going to lock this letter away. When I was done I got up from the floor and started to walk away but when I was at my bedroom door, I looked back briefly to look around. I thought I saw something but it was all just in my mind so I turned back around so I could lock up my house. I left in a run to meet up with the others for our mission.
