Ginny watched as Bill and Fleur danced around to an upbeat song. Gabrielle pulled Harry onto the dance floor, and the funny thing was, Ginny didn't even feel jealous anymore. Instead she just shrugged and watched as Harry awkwardly danced with her. He had given her the coin she'd left with him by mistake during the wedding and she held on tightly to it now.
Luna approached her then, wearing a yellow, sunflower colored dress and said, "Hey Ginny. How's your holiday been?" Ginny turned to Luna and hugged her, "They've been boring, and yours?" Luna shrugged and replied, "Wonderfully relaxing, thank you. Your brother looks really happy, doesn't he?"
Ginny nodded and smiled a little, "I suppose so. It just happened so quickly." Luna glanced at Harry dancing and said, "It's going to be a weird year, not having Dumbledore around. I don't feel quite so safe going back." Ginny sighed and whispered, "I know what you mean. It's a bit unnerving isn't it?" Luna nodded, "Doesn't feel right. Is Harry coming back now? I mean, it's not going to be safe for him anymore, since Dumbledore was the one person Voldemort feared the most…" As usual, Luna was unnervingly perceptive.
That's when a glowing patronus wooshed through the tent and landed right between Bill and Fleur, causing them to jump apart! Ginny frowned and everyone stopped what they were doing. The ball said in a whispered tone, "The Ministry has fallen. Scrimgeour is dead. They're coming! They're coming! They're coming!" It sounded like Kingsley…
The next thing Ginny knew, black smog was wrecking havoc in the tent and Death Eater's were apparating on all sides! Ginny gasped in shock! How on earth did they break through the barriers! She headed towards Lupin who was fighting one and tried to offer some help. He was yelling at Tonks, "GET OUT OF HERE!" The Death Eaters were all masked so she had no clue who she was fighting. Then she heard Harry shout above the racket, "GINNY!" She wanted to turn around, she did. But she feared that if she did, she would wind up dead. Tonks apparated to Ginny's relief, and Lupin said to her loudly, "Ginny! Find Fred and George! I've got this!" Ginny shook her head determinedly as people disapparated all around her, "No! I'm helping!"
That's when Fred and George appeared at her side and grabbed onto her arm, "Ginny! We're leaving!" Without another thought, they had apparated her to a place she'd never been before. She frowned and saw the beach, then instantly knew where they were- Bill and Fleur's cottage.
The twins went outside the perimeter and began placing protective enchantments around the house. When they were finished, some five minutes later, George said to her sternly, "Right Ginny. We're going back to help. You've got to stay here. Mum's orders. And there are binding enchantments which won't let you leave the property, understand? They will throw you backwards and you'll be stuck here anyway, so don't even think about it!"
Ginny had never seen her brother looking so serious. She huffed irritably, "Fine. But only because I don't have another choice in the matter." Fred nodded in agreement, "You don't. We'll bring everyone here as soon as possible. In the meantime…stay put." He kissed the top of her head…he hadn't done that in a long time, and then Fred and George disapparated.
Ginny stared at the waves crashing against the sea. She felt the coin, that was still in her hand, burning red. She flipped it over and read the coin read: Tottenham Court Road, London. She sighed and shook her head. Knowing where they were didn't really help matters, did it? It's not like she could leave this house. Ginny walked up the stoop and decided to explore the interior. It was definitely a beach house, with wooden flooring and white painted walls. It was rather simple which surprised Ginny. She didn't think Fleur was the simple type of girl.

Ginny waited for what felt like hours. She stared at the kitchen clock and it now read twelve thirty am. She had been deposited there half an hour ago. It made her feel sick, not knowing what had become of everyone else. She couldn't stand this waiting. Ginny stared at her coin too, which was still red and burning, but not quite as much as it had been fifteen minutes ago. The coin also read: Grimmauld Place. So that was where they must be staying! She sighed and shook her head, "I love you Harry. Stay safe…" she whispered to herself.

At twelve fourty five, there sounded a noise on the stoop. Ginny jumped up and came to see Fred and George returning. They seemed in an alright shape, and then Bill and Fleur with followed them in shortly after. Fleur's dress was torn and she stumbled a little up the stairs. Ginny went to go and lend her a hand, placing her coin in her dress pocket so no-one could see it.
She helped Fleur up the stairs and Fred said miserably, "Sorry we took so long to come back, Gin. It was a nightmare." George grumbled under his breath, "A nightmare and a half." Fleur winced a little and Ginny asked, "What's wrong?" She pulled up her dress to see Fleur had quite a gash on her ankle. She sighed, "I fell when ze Death Eaters first entered ze tent! Zeez heels are too tall for my own good!" Ginny knew she was trying to make a joke out of it, but Bill pulled out a bench at the kitchen table and Fleur sat in relief.
Bill healed it a little with a spell he knew. He stopped the bleeding and Ginny asked quickly, "What happened? Where's mum and dad?" Fred shrugged, "They went to Aunt Muriel. Mum apparated her out of there, and then returned to fight. Luckily there were more of us who stayed than there were Death Eaters. I think they got bored when they realized Harry had left a while ago. It meant their purpose there was not valid anymore." Ginny nodded somberly, "And everyone is ok?" Bill replied, "Thankfully, yes. Some injuries, but all are fixable." She sighed in relief and George came over and hugged her, "Sorry we had to leave you, but you know, mum's orders." He smiled weakly and she nodded. A silence fell over them and Bill said, "I'll make everyone some tea."
He turned the kettle on and everyone sat down. Fred glanced at her and commented, "I'm so glad Harry got out of there as quick as he did. He was definitely the reason they were there."Bill nodded in agreement as he got up pour their tea, "Yes. He left with Ron and Hermione didn't he? I wonder if we'll see them again." Fred frowned and asked, "What do you mean by that, Bill? Do you think…" Bill sighed, "That they're not going not planning on going back to Hogwarts this year? Yes. I do think that." They all glanced at Ginny and she blushed in embarrassment. She did not like being the centre of attention.
George asked her suddenly, "Do you know something, Ginny?" She stared at the table in front of her, truly not wanting to say anything. She bit her tongue, and Fleur responded, "Guys, give her a break. I'm sure Ginny is not allowed to say anyzing even if she does know." Ginny smiled at her gratefully and Fleur nodded in understanding.
Bill said stiffly, "Ginny…I'm sure the Auror department would want to know information like that. It could be very valuable. Or at least the Order. You know you can trust them." Ginny stared at Bill and couldn't believe he was still questioning her. She said briskly, "Bill, if I know something I'm not allowed to say it anyway. I'm surprised Harry told me even as much as he did." She then bit her tongue, realizing that she had said too much. She sighed, "Listen, he didn't want me to know. I knew there were things he wasn't telling me though, things that were ruining our relationship. The only reason he told me was to prevent that from happening. He kept it a secret from me for so long because he was scared I would get interrogated by Death Eaters. He was scared I would be a liability to them. I know how he feels with you guys questioning. It's not that I don't want to tell you because I don't trust you. Please understand that."
George scoffed, "And now he's made his burden your burden."
Ginny shrugged and whispered, "It's my fault. I demanded to know." A silence fell upon the table and then Fred said, "So this is the real reason he broke up with you? To keep you as safe as possible?" Ginny nodded and she felt a tear sliding down her cheek, "Yes. Don't think badly of him." Fred pulled her to him and embraced her, "No I don't. I admire him. He's got guts." George joined her on the other side and hugged her, "Yeah. He was willing to face our wrath without having a legitimate reason for the break up." This caused everyone to laugh a little bit, despite the circumstances.
Bill smiled at her from across the table and said, "He's a good guy, Gin. I'm proud of him for doing everything in the noblest way possible. I think once the war is over, and if he's…" he paused, mid-sentence. The room had gone extremely quiet. The only sound to be heard was the waves crashing onto the sand and the howling of the wind.
Ginny whispered his unfinished thought, "If he's still alive…" Bill nodded and sighed, shaking his head, "Yes. If he's still with us by the end of the war, I think it's safe to say, he's got our blessing." He stared at the twins, as if to dare them to counter him. However, they surprised Ginny by nodding in agreement, "Definitely," they both replied at the same time. Even in the darkest circumstances, this made Ginny feel a little better about the future.
