The holidays dragged and Ginny grew more and more irritable. Seeing Neville had help to curb the irritation, and he was over every other day. On Christmas Eve, she voiced her frustrations to him, "I'm so sick of being stuck here with nothing to do. All I want to do is help Harry, Ron and Hermione." Neville nodded in agreement and glanced sideways at her as they walked along the dirt path to the empty paddocks, "I know what you mean. I feel envious that they're off doing…whatever they're doing and we can't help them. We need a plan to get that sword!"
He kicked a stone a few centimeters ahead of them out of frustration. The snow was falling lightly around them and Ginny pulled her coat over her head. She nodded in agreement and murmured, "We'll need to cause a distraction. We need to make sure that Snape's office is free and that Malfoy and his cronies aren't around." Neville shook his head and sighed, "If only we had Harry's Invibility Cloak! That would solve most of our issues!" Ginny nodded in agreement.

That's when she grinned and said, "Hey! Let's ask Fred and George when they come over this evening! I'm sure they'll have some good ideas!" Neville beamed and nodded eagerly, "Yes! Perfect! And everyone will be here tonight so there will be more time to talk privately!" Ginny grinned at the plan and chuckled, "And they will be more than willing to help!" Neville nodded with a grin that matched hers, "That they would!"

When the twins arrived, Ginny greeted them with open arms. George smiled tiredly, "Hey little sis! What's kicking?" They were the last to arrive as the shop had been open until 8pm before they closed it down. They arrived half an hour later after cash up. Fred hugged her tightly and Ginny issued them in from the garden. It was already half past eight when they arrived and dinner was about to be served.

The twins helped mum to maneuver all of the dishes to the table inside as it was snowing, as well as the cutlery. Everybody else helped too…Tonks and her family were there (Lupin and her parents) and Hagrid was even there. They were all crammed inside the Weasley kitchen.

Ginny sat in between Hagrid and Fred at the table. Everybody began dishing up and there was loud chatter amongst the gathering. Hagrid asked Ginny, "How are ya coping Ginny? I've been a bi' worried about you this term…ya know…withou' 'Arry, Hermione and Ron." Ginny smiled forcibly and shrugged her shoulders, "It's been tough but I'm getting by. Thanks for being concerned Hagrid." She smiled at the friendly giant, who smiled kindly back at her. He nodded and sighed, "I know wha' ya mean. It just ain't the same withou' those three around, is it? I miss 'em too."

Ginny knew Hagrid was Harry's favorite Professor, and quite possibly hers as well…but she often forgot in her own misery…that she wasn't the only one missing them so much. Ginny leant over and gave Hagrid a hug. He squeezed her back and whispered, "There there. They wouldn't wan' us to be all upset about them not being here, would they?" Ginny sighed and shook her head, "No…doesn't make it any easier though." Hagrid patted her back gently with his massive hands. Out of the corner of her eyes, Ginny saw her mother and father watching them and smiling at the scene. Ginny hurriedly pulled away, and straightened up, "They'll be home before we know it," she said trying to sound sincere in her words, and trying to convince both herself and Hagrid that she believed them.

Fred turned to her and asked, "Are you discussing the Golden Trio?" Ginny frowned and dished cut some of her Turkey, "The Golden Trio?" Fred chuckled- still his spunky self- and replied, "Yeah. The Golden Trio. It's what we heard a thirteen year old calling Harry, Ron and Hermione in the shop the other day." George chimed in then from the other end of the table, "Yeah, not the first time we've heard it either. Although before we didn't know exactly what it meant. This girl was simply gushing about the savior of the wizarding world." He winked at Ginny from the other end of the table and Hagrid shook his head, "They shouldn't be idolizing him like that."

Ginny felt herself blushing bright red and Fred chuckled, "Gin, I've got some butter over here, if you need any?" She scowled at her brother and stuck her tongue out at him before retorting, "First impressions aren't everything Fred Weasley." Neville and Hagrid wore confused expressions, and moments later Neville asked, "What's with the butter tray?" Fred laughed loudly and replied happily, "Well little sis, should I relay to our guests the story of the Butter Dish, or will you do us the honor?" Ginny shook her head and bit into her Turkey, avoiding eye contact with any of them. This story…as amusing as it may be…was irrelevant now. She got the guy in the end.

When dinner was finished and the Lupin and Tonks had offered to do the washing up for her mother, Ginny and Neville managed to get the twins to themselves. They went up to Ginny's room and sat them down. Fred asked seriously once there, "What's up Gin?"
Ginny glanced at Neville and then whispered, "Have you heard about the Sword of Gryffindor?" George frowned and then cast a Muffiliato charm on the door. George spoke at a normal volume, "Well yeah…wasn't Harry meant to get is as a gift from Dumbledore?" Ginny nodded and bit her lip before George twigged where she was going with this, "Ah yes! Isn't this sword meant to be in Snape's office?" Ginny smiled and replied, "Glad one of you is awake!"

Fred chuckled and yawned, "Sorry Ginbug…it's been a long day in the shop." She huffed and rolled her eyes, "I wish I could come and work with you. At least it would give me something to do." They glanced at each other and George said slowly, "Well you know…we could always use some extra help…" Ginny glanced up hopefully, "Really? I would love that!" Fred chuckled and replied, "First you'll have to run it past mum." Ginny rolled her eyes and sighed, "She knows you guys will do anything to protect me."

George sighed and muttered, "But with the way mum is right now…that might not be enough." She groaned and then flopped on her bed, "I was hoping you guys would help us find a way to get the sword from Snape's office."

Fred raised an eyebrow and laughed, "Are you asking for us to work our mischief?" he asked, grinning impishly. Ginny rolled her eyes and sat up on her bed, "Yes, of course I am!" she replied with enthusiasm. Neville chuckled and sat down beside Ginny, "If you guys have any ideas…we're open to them." George was looking thoughtful as he replied, "Well…we could try this…" They sat in a huddle around Ginny's bed and tried to work out a carefully laid plan.

They all sat grinning at each other and Neville said with excitement in his voice, "This plan is fail-proof! Thanks guys!" Ginny had to say she felt particularly happy herself and she was practically bouncing off her bed, "Yes! We can do this!" She held in her hand some Peruvian Darkness Powder- which Fred had summoned from their room. There was still some stock up there…and some Puking Pastilles in the other.

That's when they heard the shriek of, "NEVILLE! We need to get going! It's starting to snow again!"
Neville rolled his eyes and shouted back, "I'm coming!" Fred and George chuckled and Fred said, "We better be heading too, little sis. We have some inventing to do tomorrow. New stock, you know." George grinned, "And we've got to try and convince mum that some work experience will be good for our little Ginbug."

Ginny hugged both of her brothers and they left her room. As they left, a piece of mistletoe came floating inside and hung over her head. Ginny blushed as Neville stood up and stared at it. She sincerely hoped he wouldn't think anything of it...

He smiled and looked at her, "I don't think it will leave you alone." It had started snowing over Ginny's head and Ginny shook the white flecks out of her hair. She whispered, "Maybe not…" Neville walked over to her and leant down. Ginny felt her cheeks blush as Neville leant down and kissed her on the cheek. She felt them burn red in embarrassment. She didn't feel for him that way, and she relieved he only kissed her on the cheek…because she thought he might feel that way about her. He shrugged his shoulders and muttered, "Merry Christmas, Ginny…you don't need to follow me out."

Once he had left, Ginny closed the door behind her. She stared at the mistletoe, which seemed to have some kind of angel ornament attached to it. The angel was laughing at her and Ginny rolled her eyes, "Next time, it's your turn!" she muttered out of frustration. She knew Neville wouldn't over step the carefully drawn up wall she had made between them. But she knew that didn't necessarily stop him feeling things for her that he wasn't supposed to. Ginny sighed and flopped on her bed again.

A/N: Hi everyone! Thank you so much for the really great, positive feedback from these last few chapters. I really have been trying my best and judging from your responses, I think you guys can see that. Hope you enjoy this one too…

Please note:nothing is going to happen between Ginny and Neville. She doesn't feel anything for him. He's one of her best friends. I just thought I should put that out there so you guys can remain calm ;)
