Neo's Retaliation! Formation of Team Quasar!
"That Mathias who came to visit us to sponser the Quasar Cup? That's Danielle's dad and thanks to interviews, it seems like he seemed to be one hell of a Surreal Duelist back in his time. They made a fortune rigging duel disks to perform more than just your normal hologram attacks. It actually used to be the dueling style for most parts until Action Dueling started taking place." Tigara was telling Mikee as he was listening intently.
"I guess that's why she's so into promoting Surreal Dueling. It'd be okay if she didn't kick out everyone who just had one loss." Mikee said outloud.
"That's the thing too. Apparently, it's not just their pride. Mathias took Surreal Dueling seriously. Despite it being a knock-off of a Shadow Duel, he'd like to treat it as such as losing would pretty much mean death. There's even stuff on Danielle's group here, how she gives those who have been proven specialized Duel Disks." Tigara explained.
"Yeah, like that huge Duel Disk Derrick used to have!" He pointed out.
"Glad you know that. But that's the general gist of it. I still don't know certain things, but I'll find out more. Like, why give her best Duelists an upgraded Duel Disk. What's in those things?" Tigara told him as she yawned. He just noticed it, but she was looking rather tired. It wasn't even past the closing time for the school. "You're looking kind of tired. Have you been focusing on this the past few days?"
"Kind of, really, I've just been doing what I had to do. It's not easy looking up the most famous person in the school without being noticed." She told him.
"Well, come on then, let's go back to the dorms, you discovered enough tonight." Mikee told his close friend. She nodded without putting much of a fight as they both started leaving the library.
At the Obelisk Blue dorm, Neo left his dorm room as he was simply going out to get a drink. He was busy all night working on his Decks for the duels in the future and the experienced duelist needed some refreshments. The lobby was empty for once as he figured the other Obelisk Blues were either asleep or also preparing for the Quasar Cup like he was. As soon as he stepped into the break room, the doors to the dorm opened as the dark-skinned duelist wasn't paying too much mind to the students coming in. "-Don't worry, your new Duel Disk will come with the shipments. Lady Danielle is already ordering them from her father as we speak." Neo heard Nick's voice as he hid quietly below the counters, keeping out of sight.
"Really now. My Duel Disk is fine, I don't need a new one." Another voice surprised Neo as he knew that was Cryo talking to Nick. The hell, Cryo? Neo thought as he remained in his spot, listening in.
"Trust me, the school's all getting new Duel Disks for the Quasar Cup. Remember, it's all Surreal Dueling, so modifications have to take place, not to mention what the school's doing and all. Besides, it's more of...an emblem you wear for finally joining the winning team." Nick told the blue-haired duelist.
"Tch, it's not like I had a choice."
"You're the one who made the bet." Nick shrugged as he was going upstairs, "It's our roles as men to honor the words we swear to. Besides, you'll get your title back. If you don't mind me, I got a lot to do tomorrow. Our boss wants to set things in motion since you've filled the spot, and as the tech wiz, I got a lot to do myself. See you tomorrow, teammate." Nick waved to him as he left the blue duelist to go to his own dorm. Neo rose his head up once the coast was clear as he had to process what he heard. He knew one thing was for sure: Neo needed to warn the others.
The next day occured so quickly as it was a day off from school work as Mikee and Luna were in the dueling field, seeming to wait around. Mikee looked at his D-Gazer again as he and Luna both received a message from Neo to meet him in the Dueling Field for an emergency. It was odd they didn't see Marth around or Tig. Both duelists looked around as it seemed the other students were in groups, forming clubs as the chatter of the Quasar Cup went around. The doors from inside the school opened as they saw Neo coming in a hurry. He looked around for a second as he joined his group. "Hey guys, have you seen Marth? We need to have a serious meeting." Neo told the two.
"No, I actually haven't seen him as of late. I dunno what he's up to anymore. And for Tig, she's still sleeping actually, she told me a lot about Danielle last night." Mikee told Neo.
"Funny, that's what I was going to tell you guys about. We seem to have a slight problem." Neo told them as he sat with them.
"It can't be any worse than what Tig found out. Apparently, her own father is just as crazy as she is when it comes to Surreal Dueling. And Danielle's team is getting their own custom-made Duel Disks too." Mikee told them.
"Really? Do you know how expensive custom Duel Disks are? Jesus, talk about spending a lot of money on something so...flashy?" Luna wondered outloud.
"That's the thing though: Cryoflare's getting one." Neo told them, which surprised the two.
"Wait, what?"
"Yeah, Cryoflare is now a part of Danielle's team. I overheard him talking to Nick about getting a new Duel Disk when the shipments fly in for the school and about being a part of Danielle's team now." Neo brought up.
"Cryo's going to be with them for the Quasar Cup. Great, as if we didn't have enough things stacked against us. First Danielle's Shaddolls and Rika's Yang Zings, now we have to face Cryo's Evolzars. Things just don't look too good." Mikee said outloud. Luna looked the most nervous as she looked down at her Duel Disk. Even though she recently changed her Deck over to using Fairies (Thanks to Neo and Sadet's help), the Slifer Red still felt it wasn't good enough. "Do we even have a chance at beating them at this point? Danielle is powerful on her own, but Cryo was strong enough to beat Derrick all on his own." Luna said.
"Hey, I beat Derrick too, don't forget!" Mikee pointed out, trying to lighten the mood.
"Yeah, but you had help." A voice said behind them as the three of them saw Katsumi sitting there, listening in. She had her hand on her chin, seeming bored of the conversation before her. "Even though she was weaker, Rika is one of Danielle's members, so you had help."
"Still, Danielle's team can be beaten. Cryo may be against us now, but we'll show him for joining the wrong side. The Quasar Cup isn't that far away, so we can't afford to slack off." Neo told his group. Right on cue, Sadet walked over to them with a wide smile. "You guys think you're going to be good enough to fight our club?" Sadet asked.
"Is that a challenge I hear, Sadet?" Neo taunted with a smile.
"Sadly, we're not ready yet." A man behind Sadet told the team as they saw Sadet's club leader. He wasn't too much to describe, just a normal Obelisk Blue. "The other members are too busy getting cards to enchance their Decks, so we can't have a Club Battle. We're just passing through, but is that true? Cryoflare's with Danielle's group? Go figure." The Club Leader.
"It's still really not confirmed, but I'll ask him next time I see him. You sure you don't want to duel, man?" Neo asked. The Club Leader shook his head as he left saying next time. It was then that Neo heard laughter. "Ha ha! I see you are raring to go for a duel? I'll take your challenge then." The Slifer Red teacher asked as he came to the group. Mikee and Luna looked surprised as Neo was taken aback a bit. "Really, sir? You want to duel me?" The Obelisk Blue asked.
"Of course! I see my students preparing for the Quasar Cup and I can't help but see how far you've come since your first year at Academy. What do you say?" Byron asked. Neo took it into consideration as he nodded. "Sure, let's go." Neo accepted as both of them went over to the dueling field. Mikee looked interested as he looked over to Luna. He noticed she was still staring at her Deck in the Duel Disk, as if she was thinking hard about something. "Hey, Luna, how about we duel too?" Mikee asked.
"Huh?"
"Well, Neo and the teach are dueling, why don't we duel? I want my rematch against ya." Mikee asked his ebony-haired friend as he stood up. She looked a little surprised as the Slifer Red nodded. "Sure, I guess I can duel you again."
"Are you going to use your Magicians? I want to rematch the Deck that beat me during our duel on the boat." Mikee asked. That was when she hesitated for a moment as Luna looked a bit scared. "S-Sorry, I only brought my new Fairy Deck with me, I don't have my Magicians with me." She told him. Kat saw this as she was intent on watching the duel between the two friends. "Oh? Well, I guess that's fine then."
"Duel!" They heard both Neo and Byron yell as they faced each other, their Duel Gazers activating.

"I'll start first then, Teach, and let's start this duel with a face-down and a monster face-down." Neo began as he drew his opening hand. He set the two cards and looked at his teacher.
"Still hiding which Deck of yours will face my Scraps today? Well, let's see how far you've come, my student! Draw!" Byron declared with a smile and drew his card. His grin was wider as he activated a Mystical Space Typhoon to blow away Neo's face-down Trap, which his Duel Gazer revealed as Gottom's Emergency Call. This surprised the teacher as Neo had a smile on his face. "So, your infamous X-Sabers, huh?"
"Yes, only this time, I aim to be the Champion. I've got something to prove to the students this year, and I intend to do it at the Quasar Cup." Neo told Byron.
"Oh? Well, let's see what you can do. I activate Foolish Burial, sending Scrap Beast to the Graveyard. Next, I bring out Scrap Chimera!" Byron called forth his monster as it roared on the battlefield. Scrap Chimera: Level 4 EARTH Beast. 1700/500. "Chimera activates its effect. By being Normal Summoned, I can bring back a Scrap Tuner monster from my Graveyard and Special Summon it to my field! Rise from the grave, Scrap Beast!" The Slifer Red teacher called forth his Tuner monster. Scrap Beast: Level 4 EARTH Beast Tuner. 1600/1300. Neo expected a Synchro Summon to occur, but his opponent didn't lift up his hand. Instead, he pointed straight at Neo's monster. "Battle! Scrap Beast, attack his face-down monster!" Byron declared as his yellow machine leapt up in the air and pounced on Neo's face-down monster, which flipped up to be a sort of human with a red cloak as it was destroyed. Chimera stepped up and fired a simple blast from its mouth, damaging Neo's Life Points. Neo: 6300 LP. Byron set a card and ended his turn.
"Thanks to you destroying XX-Saber Darksoul, I can add an X-Saber monster from my Deck to my hand. The monster I add is XX-Saber Emmersblade. And now I draw!" Neo called out as he drew his card. "Good, now I activate Pot of Duality!" Neo activated as a smiling pot appeared on the field. "This card at the cost of my Special Summoning, reveals the top three cards from my Deck. I can select one of them and add it to my hand." The Obelisk Elite explained as the cards revealed a Trap and two monsters. Neo thought about it for a moment before selecting the Trap card, which Byron widened his eyes a little as the Trap was called Chasing Wings. Neo's Deck shuffled as he set another monter face-down along with a face-down behind it. Interesting, he's upgraded the Deck a bit. But let's see how you handle this! Byron thought as he began his turn and drew his card, which he immediately summoned. It was a Summoner Monk as it switched over to Defense Mode. Summoner Monk: Level 4 DARK Spellcaster. 800/1600. "By discarding a Spell card from my hand," The Slifer Head explained as he sent Mind Control to the Graveyard and beckoned the field next to the old mage as a new Scrap Monster appeared, "I'm able to Special Summon a Level 4 monster from my Deck. It cannot attack, however. I Special Summon Scrap Kong!" He declared as a big mechanized monster appeared, beating its iron barrel chest with a giant red pincer claw and a chainsaw for the other hand. Scrap Kong is a Level 4 EARTH Beast monster with 2000 ATK and 1000 DEF. He lifted his hand in the air as Neo knew what was coming next. Scrap Beast fell apart into pieces as it formed the Synchro Rings with Chimera following right behind. "I tune my Level 4 Scrap Chimera with my Level 4 Scrap Beast! From the depths of the scrapyard, tossed aside like common garbage, rise from the heap and claim what is rightfully yours! Synchro Summon! Rise, Scrap Dragon!" Byron declared as his signature monster hit the field with its glowing red eyes. Scrap Dragon: Level 8 EARTH Dragon Synchro. 2800/2000. Neo stared it down as Scrap Kong was caught in its tractor beam. "I activate Scrap Dragon's effect! By destroying a card on my field, I can destroy a card on your side of the field, in which case, your face-down Trap will get destroyed!" He declared as Scrap Dragon destroyed Neo's face-down Trap as Scrap Dragon moved in to attack Neo's monster, which was an insect monster as it was destroyed, but a Summoning circle appeared before it. "For destroying XX-Saber Emmersblade, I can Special Summon a Level 4 or lower X-Saber monster from my Deck to the field, and the monster I bring is another XX-Saber Darksoul!" Neo called forth his reaper-like monster again as it took to the field in Defense position. XX-Saber Darksoul is a Level 3 EARTH Beast monster with 100 ATK and 100 DEF. Byron set a card behind his Scrap Dragon and ended his turn.
"It's my turn, time to tip the scales!" Neo declared as he drew his card. The Elite Duelist looked at it as he played it on the field. "I activate the Spell, Fire Formation - Tenki! When this card is activated, I can add a Level 4 or lower Beast-Warrior from my Deck to my hand. The monster I add is none other than my XX-Saber Boggart Knight, in which I'll summon him to my field!" Neo called forth a creature covered in silver armor and a red cape as it appeared, ready to attack. XX-Saber Boggart Knight is a Level 4 EARTH Beast-Warrior with 1900 ATK and 1000 DEF. It drew its sword and pointed to the side of Darksoul as another monster appeared next to it, this one seeming like a bipedal wolverine with long claws. "Boggart Knight's effect activates! See, I can Special Summon a Level 4 or lower X-Saber monster from my hand, and the monster I Special Summon is Airbellum!" X-Saber Airbellum is a Level 3 EARTH Beast Tuner with 1600 ATK and 200 DEF. He activated another Spell card, which made the weapons that Boggart Knight and Airbellum had shine. "I activate the Spell card, Saber Slash! I can destroy a number of face-up cards on the field equal to the number of X-Saber monsters I control, and I'm choosing to destroy your Scrap Dragon and Summoner Monk!" Neo declared as some of the students gasped, the Elite's monsters swinging their swords as an energy slash cut straight through the monsters. "Scrap Dragon activates his effect, where if he's destroyed, I can Special Summon a non-Synchro Scrap monster from my Graveyard! Come back to me, Scrap Kong!" The Slifer Red countered as his powerful beast came back onto the field. Neo smiled as he revealed a card in his hand in which was a small green mechanical bird. "By returning one face-up monster I control to my hand, I can Special Summon Genex Ally Birdman!" Neo called forth as a small vortex picked up his Boggart Knight off the field as the green machine bird appeared. Genex Ally Birdman is a Level 3 DARK Machine Tuner with 1400 ATK and 400 DEF. Neo raised his hand in the air as his Birdman vanished into Synchro Rings around Darksoul. "I tune my Level 3 Darksoul with my Level 3 Birdman! Synchro Summon! Appear, XX-Saber Hyunlei!" Neo called forth as a brilliant light shone forth, a woman in armor and red cape appeared, brandishing a long sword. XX-Saber Hyunlei is a Level 6 EARTH Warrior Synchro with 2300 ATK and 1300 DEF. "Hyunlei's effect activates! When she's Synchro Summoned to my field, I can destroy up to three Spells and Traps on the field, and the card I target is your face-down!" Neo called out.
"I don't think so, my friend. I activate Scrapstorm! This card allows me to discard a Scrap monster from my Deck and draw a card at the cost of destroying my Scrap Kong, but if you remember, Scrap Kong's effect activates once again, allowing me to add what I discarded from the Deck, which was my Scrap Goblin!" Byron explained as he added his card to his hand.
"Regardless, both my monsters attack you directly!" Neo commanded as both his monsters rushed in and slashed at Byron. Byron: 4100 LP. The teacher had a bright smile on his face as he looked to Neo as his Airbellum discarded the same monster he got back due to its direct attack effect. "Yup, you've certainly become much stronger over the years here at Academy." Byron said, sounding proud as he summoned his Scrap Chimera again, which brought back his Scrap Beasts. He performed his Synchro Summon again as a second Scrap Dragon appeared on the field. "Scrap Dragon, attack his X-Saber Airbellum!" He commanded as his signature dragon destroyed Neo's monster. Neo: 5100 LP. "I end my turn by activating Supply Squad! Once per turn, if a monster I control is destroyed by battle or a card effect, I can draw 1 card. Now, show me what you've got!" Byron told his student.
"I will! Draw!" Neo declared as he looked pleased with what he drew. "I summon XX-Saber Emmersblade in Attack Mode!" Neo called forth his insect creature again. XX-Saber Emmersblade is a Level 3 EARTH Insect monster with 1300 ATK and 800 DEF. Neo pointed directly to Scrap Dragon. "Emmersblade, attack Scrap Dragon!" Neo declared. Byron seemed intrigued as he couldn't stop his Scrap Dragon. Neo's insect leapt straight at the dragon as Scrap Dragon fired out its blast, directly hitting the insect as Neo's Life Points began to drop, but there was still a grin on his face. Neo: 3600 LP. "I activate the Quick-Play Spell, Saber Reflect!" Neo declared as he activated his Spell card. Emmersblade was bathed in a green light as it was blocking Scrap Dragon's blast. "When I take damage while I control an X-Saber monster, I gain the amount I took, and I send it right back to you!" Neo declared as he was bathed in the same green light as his monster. Neo: 5100 LP. His monster screeched out and slashed the blast back at Byron as his monster was still destroyed. Byron: 2600 LP. Neo's Deck shuffled as he revealed his Trap card, Gottom's Emergency Call. "The second effect of Saber Reflect activates, I can add a Saber Spell/Trap card or a Gottom's card from my Deck to my hand. With that, Emmersblade activates his effect, Special Summoning Darksoul to my field. I end my turn by setting one card." Neo told his teacher.
Byron closed his eyes and drew his card, revealing it to be Scrap Beast. The Slifer Red, despite being on the losing side still had a smile on his face. His top student was defeating him in a straight out duel. Tch, look at him. He's enjoying this as much as I am. This is what I live for. Byron was thinking as he brought out his Scrap Beast as he attacked into Darksoul and Hyunlei, but Neo triggered his Trap as he explained that as long as he had an X-Saber on his field, he could Special Summon two X-Sabers from the Graveyard to the field as he brought out another Darksoul and Airbellum. Watching my students go beyind their limits, it reminds me that there is hope for this game after all. You're going to go far, Neo, I can feel it with your cards. Byron thought as he used Scrap Dragon's effect to destroy Airbellum. He opened his eyes as he saw the smile on Neo's face, taking a monster known as XX-Saber Faultroll from his Deck to his hand as Neo's turn started. "Since I control two X-Saber monsters, I can Special Summon Faultroll from my hand!" Neo brought out his monster as it was a massive human with a mighty sword. XX-Saber Faultroll is a Level 6 EARTH Warrior with 2400 ATK and 1800 DEF. It swung its sword and stabbed it into the ground as a summoning circle appeared next to Hyunlei. "Faultroll allows me to Special Summon a Level 4 or lower X-Saber monster from my Graveyard. I bring back Airbellum! And now, I tune my Level 6 Hyunlei with my Level 3 Airbellum!" Neo called forth as he lifted his hand into the air, his two declared monsters flew in the air as a brilliant light shone down onto the battlefield. "Synchro Summon! XX-Saber Gottoms!" Neo called forth a massive knight clad in bright silver armor as it also wielded a massive sword and red cape. XX-Saber Gottoms is a Level 9 EARTH Beast-Warrior Synchro with 3100 ATK and 2600 DEF. 3200 ATK due to Fire Formation - Tenki. Neo brought out a second Faultroll as Byron closed his eyes again, laughing. Neo had to laugh as well, this was a fun duel. "Gottoms, attack Scrap Dragon!" Neo declared as his mighty Synchro monster rushed forward and cleaved Scrap Dragon right in half. Byron summoned out his Scrap Goblin from the Graveyard as it only had zero attack. "Yes, you're ready for the Quasar Cup." Byron told his student as one of his Faultrolls dashed in, ending the duel with a clean slice.

Neo is the victor of the Duel.
Both their Duel Disks retracted as Neo sighed in relief. "Whew. For a moment there, I didn't think I was going to win." The Obelisk Blue sighed in relief as Byron approached him. He offered his hand as Neo shook it. "You've kept your cool through the duel itself. You'll do great, I'm positive." Byron said as they heard a familiar dragon's roar. Both of them looked over to Mikee's duel with Luna as the both of them were dueling, but Luna's field was wide open and Mikee had his Stardust Dragon out.

"Stardust Dragon, attack Luna's Soul of Purity and Light!" Mikee declared as his dragon fired off its attack, Luna's monster weakening the attack as it was destroyed. Luna: 4700 ATK. Mikee ended his turn as Luna drew, but set only a card. Mikee drew his card as he looked happy. "All right, let's end this! I activate the Spore within my Graveyard! By banishing my Dandylion in the Grave, I can Special Summon it with its Level raised by the Level of the banished monster!" Mikee explained as his white puff appeared, slightly bigger. (Spore: Level 4) "And since I Special Summoned from the Graveyard, I can Special Summon Doppelwarrior from my hand!" Mikee declared as his small Warrior appeared on the field. The next card he brought to the field was a Quillbolt from the Graveyard. "Now, I Normal Summon my new Synchron, Jet Synchron!" Mikee brought out a small white machine as it was in the shape of a jet's engine. Jet Synchron is a Level 1 FIRE Machine Tuner with 500 ATK and 0 DEF. He raised his hand in the air as his Quillbolt, Doppelwarrior, and Jet Synchron all flew up in the air. "I tune my Level 2 Quillbolt Hedgehog and my Level 2 Doppelwarrior with my Level 1 Jet Synchron! Accelerating beyond the speed of sound, propel yourself straight to victory! Synchro Summon! Jet Warrior!" Mikee called forth his new Warrior as it appeared right beside Stardust Dragon.
"I don't think so! Trap activate! Bottomless Trap Hole!" Luna activated her Trap as Jet Warrior was immediately destroyed, but not before two Doppel Tokens and Mikee's Deck ejected a card that he took. "Despite losing Jet Warrior, Jet Synchron activates its effect! When it's used for a Synchro Summon, I can add a Junk monster from my Deck to my hand. The card I add is Junk Synchron! And now, to show off my new monster! I tune my Level 1 Doppel Token with my Level 4 Spore!" Mikee declared as his monsters flew in the air. "With the drive to evolve beyond your limits, clear the highway for a brand new evolution! Synchro Summon!" Mikee called out as a bright pillar of light appeared at his side. A red machine burst from the light as it transformed into a robot. "Accel Synchron!" Accel Synchron is a Level 5 DARK Machine Synchro Tuner with 500 ATK and 2100 DEF. Neo and Byron looked a little surprised as Mikee pointed at his new Tuner. "I activate Accel Synchron's effect! I can send a Synchron monster from my Deck to the Graveyard, and then raise or lower Accel Synchron's level by that monster's level! I send Junk Synchron to the Graveyard, and lower Accel's Level by three!" Mikee declared as his Tuner was now a Level 2. He commanded Stardust to attack Luna directly as she took the attack. Luna: 2200 LP.
"M-my turn! Draw!" Luna drew her card as she looked at it, but no smile came from her face. She seemed disappointed as the Slifer looked defeated. Mikee ended the duel on the next turn as Luna's Life Points dropped down to 0.
Mikee: 5300 LP
Luna: 0 LP.
Mikee is the victor.
"Damn it, I lost. I even changed the Deck too." Luna said as their Duel Disks retracted. Mikee folded his D-Gazer back into his pocket as he went over to Luna.
"It's not the Deck, Luna. It's sometimes how the card game goes." Neo mentioned as they all came together. Luna got back up as she still looked a little down. "I'm not ready for the Quasar Cup. My Deck needs to be better, faster..." Luna said to her friends.
"Not ready, yet. We still have plenty of time before it even starts, and there's going to be all kinds of new cards before then!" Mikee told her.
"Look at your team, Luna. You've got two of the best Synchro users around, although I don't know where your Marth friend hangs around, you still have dependable people and who knows, maybe you'll make it to the finals like Mikee here did in his Slifer year!" Byron complimented. The group laughed as Kat didn't pay much mind to what seemed to be annoying chatter as she left the stadium.
The once peaceful sunset sky was now a beautiful night sky as Rika was walking to the Obelisk Blue dorm. Her reasoning for being there was that Danielle sent her an invite. The Ra Yellow female was nervous though as she never really sends invites to come immediately. She walked past the doors as there wasn't anyone in the Obelisk Blue female's lobby, except for a few nappers and other Blues minding their own business. She looked up the stairs as she saw Heather wave to her. "Rika, up here, Danielle's waiting for you." She told Rika.
Making haste, Rika was already at the door as she took a deep breath to relax herself as the Ra Yellow opened the door. Inside Danielle's rather large room was Danielle herself as she was lying on her back on the bed, looking through some holograms as Lily was standing by the door, almost spooking her. "I-I'm here, Danielle." Rika greeted, half bowing as Danielle didn't greet her back. Instead, the holograms vanished as she flipped herself to look right at the rather scared female before her. "Rika, do you know why I called you here tonight?" Danielle asked with a sweet tone in her voice as Heather closed the door after checking around for any eavesdroppers. Rika shook her head as the rather pretty magenta-haired female sighed. "You see, Rika, your activities have been...rather scarce. After the duel with Derrick, you've seemed to...stopped dueling?" Danielle asked, her green eyes staring at her friend.
"S-s-stopped dueing? N-no, I've dueled-"
"You've dueled Derrick, and you lost, yet won out of sheer luck." Danielle sharply told her, keeping the blue-haired girl quiet. The only one uncomfortable was Heather as she seemed sad. Danielle now sat up to get on her feet. She was looking out at the window, which was a rather nice view of the Academy. "You know what my goal is, Rika. I plan to spread Surreal Dueling all around, to revert people back to the old ways where the weak die and the strong survive. With a dueling system like that, the world will truly know who's the strongest. We've even recruited Cryo and already the school is starting to fear us. But you, however, are proving to be quite the weak one. These...chats about how that boy was the one who won, and the weaker of my team. You know what happens when someone proves to not be of any use to me." Danielle explained.
"N-no, Danielle, please! I promise you, I can be strong, give me one chance, I'll do anything!" Rika told her friend, taking a step forward. There was a pause as Danielle didn't look back at all.
"That's why I'm giving you an ultimatum. If you fail this ultimatum, you're out of the club and out of my life for good. If you succeed, however, you know the results if yu succeed." Danielle told her as Rika gulped, her expression switching to misery at Danielle's next sentence.
"The Queen of the Academy must be de-throned before the Quasar Cup begins. You're going to duel her with one of the new Duel Disks and defeat her." Danielle told her, Rika knowing who she was talking about.
Rika was going to have to duel Tigara.
