Chapter 5

"Are we there yet?" Mitzi asked with a combination of excitement and curiosity in her tone.

Sanjo-san, obviously annoyed, concentrated on driving rather than answering the question. However, she can't change the fact that Mitzi's expectantly waiting and poking her even. "Shut up," Yuki scolded and sent a glare towards the Starish-obsessed girl. Instantly, Mitzi responded with a small nod and lips that looked like they were sealed with super glue.

It was the fifth time Mitzi asked that question. It seems that Mitzi was very alive today while others were low on energy. Instead, they killed time doing other things. Tenshi was sleeping soundly, leaning on Ichigo who was absorbed in reading manga although motionless. Sanjo and Lovely were seated in front; driving and sleeping, respectively. Seika diverted her attention to music, humming to the tune from her headphones while Yuki was staring out the window, distracted.

Negative thoughts ran about in Yuki's mind and a memory of last night was remembered...

Yuki barged in Hayate's room as if it was her own, not bothering to knock anymore. And on the bed lied Hayate who wasn't aware of someone intruding. He was too busy looking up at the ceiling, minding his own business.

For a moment, the air was filled with silence until Yuki sat down on a chair with force, on purpose. Hayate shot up immediately upon hearing the noise and turned his head towards the trespasser. One second he was staring wide-eyed but after the details sunk in, he sent a gentle smile to the infiltrator; Yuki. As expected, she returned a natural smile; one of the things that only Hayate had ever seen.

Amidst giggles, he inquired "What brings you here, Kamisama Yu-chi?" using a look that screams 'Why are you here and what are your motives?' Finally finishing his sentence, he burst out in laughter. Yuki seemed irked about this, resulting to her smile decreasing to a small grin, "Whatever do you mean Baka-kun? I'm simply wishing you the best of luck for when you meet her." It was now her turn to laugh but Hayate didn't find this humorous at all.

He sat motionless as if he wasn't breathing, wondering about possible outcomes of tomorrow. In a raspy voice, he whispered, "I..." He wasn't finished yet, there was a short pause before saying, "Can't."

By this time, tears were forming in his eyes. Yuki met his eyes with a face full of sympathy knowing what he had been through and said, "I don't know how long you're planning to be a scaredy-cat but this is your chance to break free of your past. Unless you want it to haunt you forever."

She said it so sickeningly sweet that Hayate didn't know how to respond. He was arguing to himself if she meant to insult him or to soothe him. The only thing he's sure about; this is how she consoles people.

Before Hayate could even respond, she stood up from her chair and walked, stopping right in front of him. Hayate stared at her, confused.

She ruffled his hair whilst smiling. Surprisingly, she leaned forward and gave a peck on Hayate's forehead. Afterwards she said, " Don't worry, I'll always be here for you.. Always. "

With that, she turned around and like a ghost, faded through the hallways. Leaving Hayate in confusion along with a hanging jaw and a shade of pink on his cheek.

As if on cue, here comes Mitzi's question, "Are we there yet?" She was poking Sanjo-san and once again annoying the hell out of her.

"Girls, girls.." This caught the attention of Lunar Fantasia. "We're here," Lovely-san said looking out the window. The girls turned their heads to the window sneaking a glance at the mansion while the van's still moving. "Oh my.. This looks divine!" Tenshi spoke up, complimenting the house they were about to live in. Gasping, Mitzi and Ichigo looked speechless, no one could deny that the mansion was beyond beautiful; much to Yuki and Seika's protests.

Getting out of the van and inside the mansion using Lovely's duplicate key, they noticed that they're the first to get there. Shining Agency was nowhere to be found. "I'm going to look around for rooms," Seika said, asking permission from Lovely and Sanjo. "Oh, wait, before you do; please be reminded that you may not all share one room but you may go in pairs," Sanjo-san warned them.

"What the?! Who're they to tell us what to do-" Yuki was cut by Lovely, " That is Shining Agency's form of .. Ai~" Her voice came out with a bit of hesitation as she really doesn't know Saotome's scheme.

"I wanna go with Tenshi!" Mitzi shouted and dashed towards Tenshi, linking their arms. Yuki muttered something like, 'Traitor'. "Ichi's gonna be with me," Seika announced and draped one arm to Ichi's shoulder. "I need her horoscopes."

Ichigo nodded, "Indeed. Forgot to tell you this but today's lucky zodiac is Gemini." Mitzi squealed in happiness thinking about what'll happen today.

Yuki let out a sigh, "Guess there's no choice, then. I'll just wait for Hayate to come." She said it like she was accustomed to sharing a room with the opposite gender.

Everyone gaped at her, some even blushed at her statement. "What? That's nothing. I'm the closest to him. It's perfectly normal." Yuki just shrugged and rolled her eyes. She knew it would be okay with Hayate too.

"If you say so." Sanjo-san didn't want to argue with her and she thinks this is also what's best for him.

"Girls, you may now venture and find your rooms... Soon to be filled with, Ai~." Lovely exclaimed all too happily and headed to her own designated area together with Sanjo-san.

"Awww~ They look so cute sleeping on each others backs like that," Ringo suddenly said, resembling a housewife with kids to her idea of a fantasy husband; Ryuuya, who was manning the wheel. "Yeah but we're already here," Ryuuya said with a contradictory tone compared to Ringo's. Although he won't admit it, he also thinks they looked kind of cute.

"We're HERE!" Ringo-chan shouted inside the van. She was planning to wake them up from their slumber even though the cost was ruining a perfect scenery. Almost all of them mumbled, " 5 more minutes" or " Nooo" in a somewhat sleepy tone while Syo amidst trying to sit up, screamed " WHAT HAPPENED!?" The prior cause of everyone's ears being broken.

"Where are we?" Otoya asked in the middle of rubbing his eyes. Several yawning was heard at the back where Ichinose, Ren and Masato were seated. "We're here at the mansion you'll be living in for a month or so," Ryuuya-sensei informed them. "Just like always, your rooms will have to be by pairs. Do you understand?"

"Hai," Starish answered, they already knew who they'll be paired with, just not Aijima though. "Who will I stay with?" Cecil asked as they were seven in Starish. Cecil couldn't possibly be roomed with Nanami because out of Shining's request Tomochika should be there too.

Ryuuya and Ringo-chan pondered for a bit because they also didn't know what to say.

"Isn't it obvious? You'll have to pick a pair that'll bunk with you. The rooms here are numbered. 5 for Starish and 4 for Lunar Fantasia. At least that was what Saotome said," Ryuuya answered with the most logical response he could think of. Upon hearing this, Cecil's head whipped towards his friends and expectantly looking at them almost resembling an adorable puppy, hoping someone would offer him a place to stay. The boys tried to resist but Natsuki gave in and offered him company, "Do not be afraid, Cesshi! Syo-chan and I gladly accept you as our new roommate!"

Syo's eyes widened and opened his mouth to complain but before he could even speak, Natsuki held his mouth and tugged him outside. "Hey! This is so great, right? Syo-chan?"

Syo took one peek at the house and was already speechless. The boys breaths were taken away just by looking at it. But they couldn't help thinking that under this gorgeous house is a disaster waiting to happen.

They are now inside the mansion and admired everything that's in it. Tokiya noticed that the atmosphere was quiet, "Are we the first ones to get here?"

"Seems like it," Masato replied.
"They must be late," Nanami said.
"Again," Ren added, remembering their past meeting.

They asked permission to pick their own rooms and started looking around the house. They were walking pair by pair. From a room, somewhere at the east side, noise was heard by Otoya and Ichinose. Curiosity got them and opened the door of the room only to find that the lights were closed but there were bags at the side. Ichinose wanted to inform the others that there were already people inside and so, left Otoya in the said room. Otoya was about to follow Tokiya until someone murmured from the bed. "I'm .. Sleepy."

He knew that it was a girl because of the high-pitched voice but can't quite pin-point who it was.

"Hello? Is anybody here?" Ittoki whispered in the middle of tip-toeing towards the bed. "Hel-" Someone grabbed Otoya and made him fall to the bed. He was currently lying side by side with the stranger. "Let's go to sleep." Was the last thing he heard before a series of soft snores. The stranger hugged him like a teddy bear so he couldn't escape from her grasp.

Mitzi was confused as to why how Tenshi got so big when the last time she checked, she had a small physique. Although she was thinking about this, she didn't care anymore, she just wanted to sleep thus, hugging 'Tenshi' and catched some Z's.

Otoya screamed for help and seemed to wake Mitzi up, also screaming. The lights still weren't open so they couldn't see who each other were. Both fell off the bed and shouted, "WHO ARE YOU?!" They said it so loud that it echoed through the hallways and was heard by everyone. Immediately, everyone rushed to the screams of their friend. They even saw each other at the middle, Starish coming from the west and Lunar from the east.

"What are you doing here?!" Ren questioned with obvious shock in his tone. Actually, Starish plus Nanami and Tomochika looked really surprised. And for the first time, Ringo had this poker face as well as Ryuuya. "Can you not see we have a friend in need? Let's cut this chit-chat for later," Yuki said in irritation and ran towards the door. She has to ensure her friend's safety before anything, that's just how she is.

A loud bang on the door was heard by Yuki attempting to open it. She turned the lights on and saw a confused Otoya, a flustered Mitzi and a re-arranged bed.

"What did you do to her?!" Yuki accused the boy with matching pointed fingers.
"I-I-I didn't d-do anything! I swear!" Ittoki exclaimed, stuttering. But Yuki didn't buy it one bit, intensely staring him down.
"Go-gomen, gomen. Yu-chan, i-it was my fa-fault!" Then she burst out in tears, not handling the tension anymore.

Seika and the others came to her aid and tried to calm her. She explained everything and got the matter cleared up, though we couldn't say the same for Yuki. She still had this 'I got my eyes on you' look directed not only to Ittoki but also for the whole Shining Crew; should they ever harm one of her friends.

12:30 in the afternoon came and they were all gathered in the dining hall. Not surprisingly, it was fit for all of them. It was a gold grand table for eating with partnered golden chairs with velvet cusions just like royalty. They waited in silence, eating whatever banquet was in front of them. Of course, only if your definition of silence is loudly chewing and voiced savoring because of extreme deliciousness. Then yes, they were very quiet.

It just so happens that the variety of food set at the table was all oddly the meal they listed in their profiles as their 'favorite'. Coincidence? Everyone thinks not.

Suddenly, the lights went out. No one had to guess who was going to show up extravagantly. A spotlight focused on a balcony, that seemed non-existent just a while ago. Glitters and sparkles were released everywhere and a man wearing a harness jumped 10 feet from the balcony.

"Aaaww. My food!" Mitzi mocked sorrow but still very sad and even though she was warned not to eat again, she still did. "Hey! It's edible!" she exclaimed in relief as she ate spoonfuls of her food donned in glitters. When the rest were about to take a bite on their meals, they heard deep laughter from a man. "Hohoho! Stop and bask in my almighty glory!"

The ceilings were now designed like the galaxy and lights were going about looking like they were in the universe. His theme might just be related to Stars and Moons. Saotome was dressed up in a weird fashion as if he was the brightest star of them all, illuminating even. "You all probably know why you're here, right?" he asked, descending gracefully and even managed to remove the harness in one swift move, the lights returned and everything went back to normal again.

Realization hit them, and Nanami was the first to speak, "Oh yeah, why are we here again?" She said it so innocently, a sign that she completely forgot about it. She wasn't the only culprit, they seemed to have enjoyed each other's company.

"Well, well, well, Miiissss Nanammmiii. We are here today for the reconciliation of Lunar and Starish. May all their hatred be ripped out and burned to the ground." Glancing at the girls, they did not like the idea as well as the boys.

"Our goal is to make peace in both agencies; Shining and A-rise. Miiissss Lovveeelllyy and I discussed this through and agreed that if this goes as planned, it may be the result of a collaboration. Right, Sakurai-san?" Turning his head towards Lovely who was at the other end of the room, he waited expectantly for her addition.

"Yes, yes. That's right. Your talents cannot be fueled by happiness alone nor powered by revenge itself," Lovely explained as much as she can. "Think of this as your beloved Agency's way of showing Ai~"

Ryuuya stood up and announced that the rooms must be alternated by the demands of Saotome and Lovely. "Masato and Ren's room will be right next to Mitzi and Tenshi's," This sentence got Tenshi to blush like crimson. "And as follows, Syo, Cecil and Natsuki's room, Nanami and Tomochika's, Ichinose and Ittoki's, Seika and Ichigo's, at the very last room will be Yuki and another member of Lunar; their composer," Ryuuya finished with a slight of mystery, the whole Shining Agency was buzzing who might the composer be.

"Ne, ne, you'll all stay at the idol section which means at the west side of the mansion. If should you ever need us, the adults, we'll be at the east side, okay?" Ringo ellaborated further. "In this house," Saotome said, a little too loudly. "Rules are not strictly implemented." He announced this with a weird grin reaching his ears, a smile that everyone knows well.

"Hint, hint! Curfew can be at anytime and," This earned several yays from the whole lot and Lovely waited for everyone to calm down first before saying,

"Love is not forbidden!" Lovely said through giggles.

.

The idols blinked in unison, having different reactions but one thing's for sure; they were all shocked.

"Good Luck and have a nice day!" Saotome said this, similar to a sales clerk in a supermarket.

Then, almost like magic, the atmosphere changed again to that of a universe and "Poof!" He was gone, glitters are the only traces he left behind.

Once, everything was cleared, it's now Sanjo-san's turn to speak, "Minna-san, you may go back to your rooms and fix your stuff. You're all dismissed for the day. And tomorrow we'll discuss your agenda during breakfast."

I wrote this with a bad case of writer's block just to bring forth a new chapter! You should be grateful! Just kidding. xD I'm truly sorry for late updates . Hope you'll still support us. Like my Values Teacher said, "Patience is a virtue." Rofl. I've got too much school in my head! :D
