Literally no one voted on my poll :(

The Dragon swooped down with it's claws open, Alrek quickly rolled to right as a loud woosh! was heard as it's claws missed. Several bone men rose from the ground, one almost caught him by surprise if not for Serana's ice spike impaling it in its skull. He gave her a silent thank you with a nod then ran after towards the Dragon.

He looked up towards the sky, looking towards the dragon. It's wings seemed to be rotting off and it didn't seem to be landing anytime soon, he gritted his teeth and grabbed his crossbow, he was never good with these he much preferred the bow but he left it back it in his old house.

He kept shooting bolts after bolts but he always kept missing, Serana was doing a good job keeping the Bonemen off of him but even she almost got overwhelmed several times.

"If only there was some way to get him down!" Serana yelled over the creaking of the bonemen.

Alrek almost slapped himself for his ignorance, He put his cross bow on his back and pulled out Dragonsbane. He looked upwards towards the dragon and took in a deep breath.

"JOOR ZAH FRUL!"

It worked as expected, the familiar blue glow surrounded the Dragon and it attempted to fly, but eventually gave up and landed with a stagger, it lashed out with its head and attempted to bite him but he quickly leaped back then leaped forward, jumping on its head and raised his sword above his head to stab him, but the dragon lurched back and threw him off his head, he landed on its back and it lifted its rotted wings as Dragonrend wore off, but a quick ice spike to its eye stopped it.

Serana ran up and ran her dagger through its wings cutting them. Alrek got back on its head and shoved its sword down through its skull.

It didn't burn away unlike the other dragons he killed, it simply rotted away, leaving no skeleton. He didn't think to much on it as he approached Serana, sheathing Dragonsbane on his back.

"Thanks for the save" He said, Serana smiled and gestured towards where her mother ran. "C'mon, lets go get the Elder scroll"

They found Valerica infront of the Elder scroll, she turned towards them and smiled.

"I never thought I'd see the death of that dragon, I didn't think it was possible...Unless..." She eyed Alrek.

Serana raised an eyebrow and Alrek smiled slightly, he was never egotistic but he did like being recognized as the Dragonborn.

"Unless..." He repeated, Valerica then proceeded to explain to him how the dragon didn't actually die but instead had its body disolaced and might relocate elsewhere.

Alrek sighed in disappointment then looked at Valerica. "Is the Elder scroll safe?"

Valerica nodded and handed it to them, Alrek held it in his hands and looked at the large scroll. He still never understood these, but he figured he should get it back to Dexion as soon as possible. He thanked her and turned to walk out of the fortress.

Serana talked to Valerica then ran to catch up with Alrek, she was frowning slightly.

"Everything okay? Where's You're mother?" He asked.

"She's staying here until My father is dead, she figured it would be more safe"

Alrek nodded and looked at the Elder scroll again, it seemed to glow in his hand.

As they exited the fortress, a dragon appeared before them It was Durrenivhir. Alrek reached for Dragonsbane on his back and Serana prepped an Icespike.

"Hold your blade Qahnarrin, I only seek to talk" Durrenivhir spoke, Alrek raised en eyebrow and let go of Dragonsbane. Durrenivhir Explained how he was trapped in the Soul Carin, and only wishes to fly in Tamerial again, Durrenivhir told him his name and taught him how to summon him in Skyrim.

After Durrenivhir vanished Serana and Alrek slowly made their way back to the portal

"Ah thats right" Alrek looked up at the sound of Serana's voice.

"We still need to get you're soul back...My mother told me it should be stored in a fortress not to far from here" She said. Alrek nodded "lets go get it then, I'm tired of eating this Soul Husk..."

Retrieving his soul wasn't that hard, once they got it they slowly made their way back to the portal, As Alrek began to walk up the steps he heard only his own, he turned around to see Serana staring back at the Fortress. He walked down to her and came up behind her, he put his hand on her shoulder, She flinched and turned toward him.

"Everything okay?" He asked, Serana nodded "Yeah, just wondering if I'm ever gonna see her again" She looked back at the fortress. Alrek nodded "I'm sure you will"

Serana nodded and then followed him up the stairs leading back to Skyrim

Sorry for the late upload, I have no excuse. It feels rushed, is it rushed? Sorry. I'm thinking of moving off the main plot for some fluff action, what do you guys say? What Fluff do you want in between the two? I will take all request!
