Serana woke up on the ground, she looked up and saw Alrek leaning against the cave entrance, it was no longer raining and was now morning. Alrek turned to her.

"Your awake, lets get going" He said. Seems he forgot everything that happened last night. Which was fine by her, she didn't want to make things awkward between them.

They resumed their journey back to the fortress with the new Elder scroll. That feeling in her chest was still burning as they walked along the road, she glanced at him, but his hood covered the side of his face. She figured he must be staring straight ahead.

They finally reached the fortress where they walked through the wooden gate, Serana got the same disgusted looks she usually gets. They made their way inside.

"Dexion! I'm back with the scroll!" Alrek announced out loud, they both heard some shuffling and Isran was guiding Dexion to them, Dexion had a blindfold on.

Alrek looked worried and approached Dexion and Isran.

"I have the last Elder scroll...Is Dexion okay?" Alrek asked, Isran shook his head and Dexion spoke up "Ah...I appears I didn't take the necessary precautions before reading the Elder scroll, I'm afraid my use to you has done its part.

Alrek sighed "So its over then?" Dexion shook his head.

"Not at all, there is a grove here in Skyrim that was once used to read Elder scrolls. There is a sacred tree there, that if you cut off some bark with a special knife you should be able to attract enough Moths to grant you the second sight you need to read the Elder scrolls."

Alrek nodded "Alright, where is it?"

"I'll mark it on your map...Er..." Dexion frowned, being blind was not gonna be easy for him.

Isran held out his hand "Hand your map here, I know where it is, Dexion told me about it" Alrek handed Isran his map and Isran marked it.

Alrek turned to Serana "I promised you some food and rest, lets rest up for a bit before we leave." Serana nodded, hating herself for being so timid all of a sudden.

Serana's sleep was not the most comfortable, she almost felt...Lonely without Alrek next to her in the bed, one would expect her to be happy about such a thing...But that was not the case for her, the burning sensation, the urge to be touched and "Cleansed". She hated herself so much, she was the daughter of a legendary vampire, a follower of Molang Bal, cowering in fear from being touched in such a way that she hadn't felt since...The Ritual...

Some Vampire she is.

She was thirsty.

She got up and walked over to a keg, she didn't know what was in and right now she didn't care, she grabbed a cup and filled it up, she tilted her back and empty the contents into her mouth. She coughed, it tasted horrible. But she recongized this taste, it was mead.

She didn't care, she filled it up again and drank some more, the burning feeling began to subside, she started drinking more, and more, and more.

She started feeling lighthead and stumbled back to her bed, but she smelled something, it was a scent she loved.

It was Alrek's blood.

She followed the scent and found herself next to his bed, he was sleeping without his tunic, exposing his muscular torso and many collection of scars and wounds that never healed.

She ran her hand over his torso, it felt solid and rough, she set her head down on his chest, she didn't know why she was doing this, but she didn't care, his chest began to move.

"Serana! What are you doing?" He exclaimed, sitting up, causing a groan of discomfort from Serana.

"Noo...Lay down Alrek..." She said, why was she saying this? What is wrong her? She didn't know, but what she did know is that she wanted to touch Alrek more, she got up closer to his face.

"Touch me Alrek...Please..." She said, Alrek sniffed and made a face of disgust.

"Your breath smells of...Mead...Were you drinking?" He asked, Serana shrugged. "I don't know...But I feel soooo weird" She stared feeling dizzy "I'm tired..." She collapsed on him.

"Serana? This is entirely out of character for you..." Alrek said, he got no response from Serana, she was breathing heavily, she must be asleep. Alrek sighed and carried her back to her bed.

He set her down and went to leave but she reached out and grabbed his wrist.

"Stay with me...For a bit...I'm so lonely" She asked, staring at him with those golden eyes that pierce the darkness. Alrek sighed.

"Alright fine..." Alrek said, he pulled up a chair and sat next to her.

Serana stared at him.

"Sorry...about yesterday...In the cave..." She said, she finally had control over her voice. Alrek just stared at her and listened.

"I...Haven't been touched in such a way since...The Ritual with Molang Bal..." She said, she looked up at him.

Alrek looked at her "What did...Molang bal...do to you?" He asked, leaning forward towards her, listening intently.

Serana was hesitant to talk to him about it, but she figured now was a better time then ever.

"I mentioned it was degrading...He did whatever he wanted to us, the ritual for the male was easy...But Molang Bal...He abused me and my mother...Used us..." She swallowed. "Our family was never the same after that...it was hard for my mother and father to look each other in the eye..." She looked up at Alrek "I never wanted to go through that again...I'm sorry I was acting so weird..."

Alrek stared at her, her story was sad, it reminded him of his parents...

"So what now kid? You gonna kill me now? That ain't gonna bring back your parents! Their dead! And its all YOUR fault!" Alrek raised the knife and plunged it into the mans neck.

"Alrek?"

Alrek shook his head and smiled. "Does it still burn?" He asked.

Serana nodded, Alrek got closer to her and raised his hand, Serana stared at it, she gently grabbed his hand and gently guided it to her chest.

"Your a monster! She trusted you and you killed her!"

Alrek stopped and pulled away. "I'm sorry...I can't..."

Serana frowned but smiled shortly after. "Its okay...Lets get some sleep now...Goodnight Alrek" She said, Alrek nodded and said the same before returning to his bed.

Bleh...Sorry for the OOC in Serana's personality...I just wanted fluff and this came out...I guess its alright
