I know we aren't supposed to write Author's Notes, I also know most of us do this anyway and I do have a reason, because I owe all of you who have been faithful readers an explanation and at the very least a time frame for coming updates.
First, for everyone who reads my stories regardless of what I write, I owe both my sincerest apologies and also the utmost gratitude and thanks. You guys have no idea what your continued support has meant for me over the years and I am so happy that many of you still read my works or wait for updates. For the new readers, I thank you as well for reading this story and hope I didn't disappoint any of you with what I wrote.
I have…news regarding my writing, now and in the future. I haven't updated any of my other stories in a while because I have been sick for the majority of the past few months since Christmas and when not sick I have been focusing on my schoolwork. I plan to finish A Thousand Reasons, for good or ill, by the end of next month, possibly on the day of its anniversary of coming out. My other stories have essentially been thrown into Hiatus, the reason being is that right now there's more going on in my life than just school. I'm going to be moving, I have a new job lined up, my parents are planning to get a divorce, and quite a few other issues have risen up.
I know the Hiatus sounds ominous, like I might never come back to the stories again, but that absolutely is not true. I have every intention of finishing every story I have posted and a few others likewise. I've even managed to finish a few of my original works and self-publish those, though I don't know the first thing about marketing or advertising so they aren't doing half as well as my fanfics, but nonetheless I am happy just to have finished them, just as I will be happy to finish these works.
I am no less proud of my fanfics than I am my original works, they may not be original, but I do make an effort to try my best with all of my stories. Beneath this paragraph will be three lists. One will be all of the unfinished stories with a rough estimate of when I'll be able to start working on them and how long I plan to make them. This will also include the fandom and how long it should take to finish them. The other will be a list of my completed stories, their fandoms, and the month/year they were finished. If they have a sequel or I plan to make a sequel I'll make note of that. One last thing before I write the lists, none of you are obligated to go and look for my original works, I know some people have expressed an interest, but things in my life go wrong so often I don't know if I ever got around to telling them about the original works.
