Chapter 5- My daughter's soul
"Can't believe our babies are turning one", Phoebe said. "Yeah it feels like yesterday that they were just born", Piper said. "I think we should do a joint birthday since they are just two months apart", Phoebe suggested. "That's a great idea", Piper replied. "Stop it", Heavenly squealed, as she ran around. "Heavenly stop running around the house", Phoebe said. "Tell that to daddy", Heavenly stated. "I'm sorry it's my fault I was tickling her", Delante said. "Please keep it down I have a headache", Phoebe said. "Sorry", Delante said, as he continued to chase Heavenly carefully not to make noise. After spending some time with Heavenly, Delante went home. He had just lost his job and he didn't want to tell Phoebe so she won't continue to see him as a failure, and wished more than anything to get Phoebe back. "Delante I can grant you what you want", A voice suddenly said. "Who's there?", Delante asked. "It's I Dream", A Caucasian looking man with dark hair revealed himself. "Whatever you want I don't care I just want to be left alone", Delante dismissed. "I know your problems and I have come with a solution", Dream said. "And why exactly would you care?", Delante asked. "Let's just say that I have a lot to gain", Dream said. "What do you mean by that?", Delante asked, as he found himself strangely interested. "I have what you want and you have what I want", Dream stated. "What do I have that you want?". "Your daughter Heavenly", Dream said. "What do you want with my daughter?". "I want to make her my wife", Dream said. "Are you some pedophile demon or what? she is just 9 years old", Delante said. "I know I'm not that crazy...I am waiting until she is old enough then we will wed but in the meantime she needs to be with me", Dream said. "No I don't agree she's my little girl and I won't let you destroy her life", Delante stated. "Yes it is a very difficult decision but with everything I will give you it will be worth it..I have it all the amount of wealth you have never seen", Dream persuaded. "Phoebe has just started trusting me and now you want me to completely destroy our relationship", Delante said. "There isn't a relationship between the two of you and they'll never be one..you are always going to be an outsider to Phoebe...so why not do something about it", Dream said. "But how would I even gain her respect when I will be blamed for it", Delante said. "I can make it look like you were attacked by demons and she was killed", Dream said. "I don't know", Delante said. "Well tick tock this offer doesn't last long just think about it.. I'll give you wealth and power and with those things you'll get the respect you deserve", Dream said. "How exactly would it work?", Delante asked. "Does that mean that you're in?", Dream asked. "Answer the question". "A sacrifice would be needed to be made so she would be connected to me", Dream explained. "Would she remember who she is and what happened to her?", Delante asked. "Yes but she will but she will later understand". "Alright I accept", Delante said, as Dream smiled.
"Just try and relax", Cole soothed. They were on their bed and Cole was trying to make Phoebe feel relaxed, as he massaged her feet. "Ohh that feels so good...I have still have to finish my column", Phoebe said. "shh relax baby", Cole said, as he changed position to sit behind her, as he started to massage her shoulders. "Thank you for making feel good", Phoebe said. "Don't mention it", Cole replied, as he planted soft kiss on Phoebe's neck. "Umm", Phoebe said. "Lie down so I can caress your belly", Cole said, and Phoebe obeyed. "Umm", Phoebe said. "I love you", Cole said, as he caressed her belly softly. "Love you more", Phoebe replied. After all that, Cole and Phoebe cuddled in each other's arms. "You know it's been a while since we've had some alone time", Phoebe said. "I know right and it was killing me", Cole said. Then there was a knock on the door. "Can I come in?", Heavenly asked from the other side of the door. "Yes come right in", Phoebe said. "Are you alright?", Cole asked. "I had a nightmare", Heavenly said, she was all sweaty. "Oh my God come here", Phoebe said, as Heavenly came to her side. "Do you want to tell us about it?", Cole asked, as Heavenly nodded. "Some one is coming after me and I think I'm in danger", Heavenly shared. "What do mean? in what way are you in danger?", Phoebe asked. "I don't know..I'm scared", Heavenly said. "Tell us exactly what your dream is about", Cole said. "Well in the dream I was running then I saw this man...and he put a ring on my finger and he kept calling me his wife...and I was trying to get away...but when he caught me he stabbed me in the chest", Heavenly shared, as she started to cry. "It's alright no one is going to hurt you and I will do everything in my power to stop it from happening", Phoebe assured. "Yea me too", Cole added. Heavenly nodded, as she continued to cry in Phoebe's arms until she fell back asleep. "My poor baby", Phoebe said. "What is with all these demons wanting to marry Heavenly? this is becoming concerning", Cole stated. "First it was the source now another demon wants Heavenly", Phoebe said. "I don't get it... but what if it was just a dream?", Cole asked. "I don't think so my instinct is telling me that there is something about this dream", Phoebe said. "We have to be on alert", Cole said, as he kissed Heavenly's forehead. Phoebe nodded in approval. The little family cuddled with Heavenly in the middle of her parents, before falling asleep.
"I thought it was the source's idea to marry Heavenly", Delante said. Dream was at his house as they discussed their next steps. "Yes it was but I was never under the source's rule...I don't answer to him", Dream said. "This is so weird that demons want Heavenly to be their wife", Delante said. "It's not really about her being my wife it is more about the child she would bear...that child will be a force to be reckoned with", Dream stated. "After she has the child will you still be with her?", Delante asked. "Yeah why not she will still be my wife", Dream replied. "This is so disturbing", Delante said. "Life itself is filled with disturbing events", Dream stated. "Why is it necessary that you get Heavenly now if you won't be marrying her until she's an adult?", Delante asked. "It's because she needs to be groomed in dark magic and she would under the care of a woman who would guide her until she's old enough and ready", Dream explained. "Make sure you don't hurt her in anyway", Delante warned. "I won't..all that would be needed to do is the sacrifice". "What type of sacrifice?", Delante asked. "I would need to carve a mark on her which would secure her as mine", Dream said. "When would that be needed to be done?", Delante asked. "The sooner the better". "What about the money...how do I know the money will come to me?", Delante asked. "I will have you sign a contract that bounds me to fulfill my end of the deal and I will be back later to go into more details", Dream concluded. "Alright see you later", Delante replied, before Dream shimmered away.
"Heavenly where are you? I said I was sorry", Phoebe called. "What happened?", Prue asked. "I didn't let Heavenly in my room and now she is angry at me", Phoebe explained. "Why?", Prue asked. "Cole and I were busy", Phoebe said. "Doing what?", Prue asked. "You know.. busy", Phoebe emphasized. "Ohh good luck explaining it to her", Prue laughed. "Thanks for the help", Phoebe said sarcastically. "You're welcome honey", Prue laughed. "Heavenly come on I said I was sorry... I didn't mean to yell at you", Phoebe said, as she found Heavenly in the sun room. "Heavenly", Phoebe called, as Heavenly crossed her arms and pouted. "Why didn't you let me in?", Heavenly asked. "Well daddy and I were... busy", Phoebe said. "Were you working?", Heavenly asked. "Something like that", Phoebe said. "This wasn't the main reason why I was upset", Heavenly said. "What's wrong baby?", Phoebe asked, as she carried Heavenly on her lap. "It's the dream I had", Heavenly said. "Was it the same dream?", Phoebe asked. "Yes". "This must be a sign something is going to happen", Phoebe said, before she suddenly got a premonition and in the premonition Heavenly could be seen crying and a figure she couldn't make who it was was trying to carve a mark on Heavenly's head and then the premonition ended. "Mommy are you alright?", Heavenly asked. "Yes... Cole baby", Phoebe called. After a brief wait, Cole shimmered from the bedroom to the sun room. "Yes baby", Cole replied. "Heavenly is in danger", Phoebe said. "How?", Cole asked. "In my premonition someone kidnapped Heavenly and tried to carve a mark on her forehead with a knife", Phoebe explained. Heavenly then started to cry, as fear crippled her. "Did you see the person face?", Cole asked, as he and Phoebe tried to comfort Heavenly. "We cannot let this happen to her", Phoebe stated. "We have to inform everyone", Cole said as he carried Heavenly in his arms as the trio exited the sun room. "Did the location look familiar?", Piper asked. Everyone except Heavenly who was sent to play in her room gathered in the living room to brainstorm. "No it looked like some sort of demonic altar and it could have been in the underworld", Phoebe said. "What demon do you think would be behind this?", Paige asked. "Yeah the only other demon that wanted to take Heavenly was the source and he is dead", Prue said. "What I don't understand is why all these demons want Heavenly it's so disturbing", Piper said. "There might be something about Heavenly that they know that we do not know about", Leo reasoned. "It would probably be about power". Cole added. "It has to be", Leo said. "Do you think they want her powers?", Phoebe asked. "No it has to be bigger than that", Leo said. "I think the source wanted to marry her because of the child she would have in the future", Cole said. "That's so sick how could they think that way about a nine year old child", Phoebe said. "They probably understand that she's still a child and want her now to prepare for the future this practice is very common with demons", Cole said. "It will be over my dead body will they take my child from me", Phoebe stated. "Hopefully it doesn't get to that", Paige said.
"Daddy", Heavenly screamed as she ran into Cole's arms as Cole shimmered in from work. "How was your day?", Cole asked. "It was good mommy, aunt Piper and I were planning Sophia and Wyatt's birthday party", Heavenly said. "Was it fun?", Cole asked. "Nope", Heavenly said. "Hey baby", Phoebe greeted as she walked in. "Hey honey how was your day?", Cole asked taking Phoebe into his arms. "Just planning Sophia and Wyatt's birthday... and how was your day?", Phoebe asked. "Well just work and I'm tired", Cole said. "I'm sorry are you hungry?", Phoebe asked. "No I got a bite so I could just go straight to bed", Cole replied. "Aright then off you go I'll be with you later", Phoebe said, as she gave Cole a kiss. "Night daddy", Heavenly said. "Night baby", Cole replied as he went upstairs. As Phoebe touched Heavenly's hand she was hit with a premonition, in the premonition she saw Heavenly trapped again but this time she saw Cole standing there looking suspicious and then the premonition ended. "Oh My God Prue Piper Paige", Phoebe called as she took Heavenly to the living room. "What's the matter?", Paige asked. "I had the same premonition", Phoebe started. "This has to be a warning", Piper reasoned. "This time I saw Cole standing there with the knife and he looked really suspicious", Phoebe said. "That doesn't prove anything though", Prue reasoned. "I don't know", Phoebe said. "It can't be Cole, he loves Heavenly and would never hurt her", Prue said. "I don't how to feel about this premonition", Phoebe stated, as she buried her face in her hands. "It can't be daddy he would never hurt me", Heavenly said. "Heavenly I think it's time for bed baby", Phoebe said. "But", Heavenly argued. "Nope it's bedtime I'll be there in a minute", Phoebe said, as she kissed Heavenly's forehead. Then Heavenly went upstairs. "Phoebe you can't really think Cole would do this... your premonition could be misleading sometimes and you know it", Prue said. "What's your deal?", Phoebe asked rudely. "I don't want you to jump into conclusions", Prue said. "Well stop worrying about me you are not my mother", Phoebe stated as she walked away. "Thank God I'm not", Prue said as she walked away. "Well goodnight Paige", Piper said. "Night", Paige replied as they all went to bed.
The next morning Cole Phoebe got into a big fight. "I can't believe you would ever think that I would try to hurt Heavenly... she is my daughter even though not biological but I still love her", Cole said. "I never said you didn't love her", Phoebe said. "You did you just stood here and said that you don't want me alone with her because a stupid premonition", Cole said clearly hurt. "Just try understand me", Phoebe said. "Understand what exactly that you don't trust me... after all we've been through", Cole said. "It's not that I don't trust you it's just I want to be cautious until we find who's behind this", Phoebe said. "I don't know what's more shocking that you don't trust me or you think I'm the person that would hurt Heavenly", Cole said. "It's not that", Phoebe said. "YOU HAVE SAID ENOUGH", Cole yelled walking away. "Don't walk away from me", Phoebe said. "Watch me", Cole stated, and as he left the room he walked right into Heavenly. "Oww", Heavenly exclaimed. "I'm sorry baby", Cole said holding Heavenly. "It's fine.. why are you fighting with mommy?", Heavenly asked. "Don't worry about it", Cole said, as he gave Heavenly a kiss on her forehead. "Good morning baby", Phoebe said, as she pulled Heavenly away from Cole. "Morning", Heavenly replied. "Daddy wants to take you to the park", Phoebe informed. "Really why didn't tell me?", Heavenly asked Cole. "Umm no your other daddy", Phoebe clarified. "Oh I don't think I want to go", Heavenly said. "Why not?", Phoebe asked. "I just don't", Heavenly replied. "That's not a good reason honey you are going to hurt his feelings", Phoebe said. "I don't think she should be going anywhere with him alone", Cole said. "And who said she would be alone... and plus I didn't ask you", Phoebe snapped. "Mommy", Heavenly said, pointing out Phoebe's rude tone. "Yes". "That was rude", Heavenly said. "Just get dressed baby... do it for mommy", Phoebe said. "Phoebe stop this", Cole said. "Don't tell me what to do with my daughter", Phoebe said. "Really?", Cole asked. "Really", Phoebe said. "FINE", Cole said. "FINE", Phoebe replied, as Cole walked away. "Go get ready sweet heart", Phoebe said. "But I thought I am not aloud to go anywhere with him alone", Heavenly said. "You aren't going alone I'm coming with you", Phoebe revealed. "OK then I'll go get ready... but mommy please stop fighting with daddy", Heavenly said as she made her way to her bedroom.
Later that day Phoebe and Heavenly were ready to go to the park with Delante. "Does Cole know that you are going?", Piper asked. "No but it doesn't matter I'm going with my daughter", Phoebe said. "Yea I know but you should have told him", Piper said. "We had a fight so we need some space", Phoebe said. "But still", Piper said. "It's alright Piper it's just the park and it's for Heavenly", Phoebe said. "If you say so", Piper said, as the door bell rang. "I'll get it", Heavenly said as she ran for the door. "Hello daddy", Heavenly greeted Delante. "Hey baby... why the sad face?", Delante asked. "I'm not sad at all", Heavenly said. "But you didn't give your daddy a hug", Delante said, as Heavenly reluctantly gave Delante a hug. "Heavenly I'm sorry I got an emergency shift at work I got to go but Aunt Paige can go with you", Phoebe said. "We can just go another time", Delante said. "No you already planned this.. Paige", Phoebe called. "Yeah Phoebe", Paige replied, as she walked into the living room. "I need a favour...can you please go to the park with Heavenly and Delante?", Phoebe asked. "Phoebe I planned to do absolutely nothing today", Paige complained. "I'm sorry I will make it up to you promise", Phoebe said. "Fine but I only take cash", Paige said. "Cash?", Phoebe asked. "Pay up or no deal", Paige stated. "Fine here you go", Phoebe said, as she gave Paige twenty dollars. "Just twenty?.. add twenty more", Paige demanded. Phoebe rolled her eyes and reached in her purse and handed her another 20 dollars. "Thank you I'll be ready in twenty minutes", Paige announced, as she went upstairs.
Thirty minutes later Paige, Heavenly and Delante were at the park. After playing for almost an hour they ate, before they decided to call it a day. "This isn't the way to the manor", Paige observed, as Delante drove them. "Yes I know I want to quickly grab something from my house it's a surprise I hope you don't mind", Delante said. "No I don't", Paige said. As they arrived at Delante's house immediately they went inside the house a dark lighter appeared and shot Paige in the chest, and before Heavenly could react she was paralyzed by Dream as he appeared. "LET ME GO", Heavenly screamed as she was then gagged with a cloth. "umm ummm", Heavenly struggled. "Don't hurt her", Delante said. "I won't", Dream said. "Just take it easy with her", Delante said. "Don't worry she'll be fine", Dream assured. Meanwhile at Phoebe's office she managed to finish her work and she noticed the time it was already three o clock in the afternoon. Then she called the manor, and Piper answered. "Hello... yes I'm all done... are Paige and Heavenly back yet?... really they must probably be on their way home.. yeah I'll call Paige love you bye", Phoebe conversed, before ending the call. Phoebe then tried to call Paige but didn't get an answer. Then as Phoebe was putting her work things away she then touched Heavenly's pencil that was in her bag and was hit with premonition; In the premonition she saw Heavenly screaming and crying hysterically and she finally saw the shadowy figure it was an unknown demon and the most disturbing thing she saw was Delante holding Heavenly down while the unknown demon walk towards Heavenly with a smile, then the premonition ended. As soon as the premonition ended, Phoebe immediately ran out of the office and called, Prue and Piper and informed them to get to Delante's house.
Meanwhile at Delante's house everything was set for the ritual, and Paige was still fighting for her life. Then Dream removed the gag from Heavenly's mouth. "DADDY", Heavenly screamed. "Daddy's here", Delante said. Cole immediately shimmered in. "Not you", Cole said throwing a fire ball at both Dream and Delante's arms. "Noooo", Dream screamed. "You demon", Delante said. "I'm not the one that tried to kill my daughter", Cole said as he untied Heavenly and held her as she continued to cry. Then Prue, Piper and Phoebe bust in and by instinct Prue made Delante and Dream fly away. "See I wasn't the one it was Delante he wanted to sell Heavenly off to this sicko", Cole explained, before he threw a fireball at Dream making him scream in pain as he burned into flames and was vanquished. "Aunt Paige", Heavenly mumbled through sobs. "What is it honey?", Prue asked. "Aunt Paige", Heavenly said a little clearer as pointed at almost dead Paige with an arrow on her chest. "Oh my God", Phoebe exclaimed as she ran Paige's side. "Let's take her home Leo is home with the kids", Piper said. Cole then put Heavenly down as she went into Prue's arms and Cole carried Paige and used his other hand to hold Delante's hand and shimmered out. The others then took their car home. As Cole shimmered home he called for Leo. "Paige needs healing", Cole said still holding unto unconscious Delante. Cole took out the dark lighter's arrow and and Leo healed Paige for a good five minutes, as Prue, Piper, Heavenly and Phoebe came into the house. "Paige", Phoebe called. "Thank you Leo", Paige said. "No problem we almost lost you", Leo said. "I can't believe it", Phoebe said. "You can't believe what was obvious from the beginning or that you were wrong", Cole said angrily. "I'm sorry", Phoebe said in remorse as tears fell down her eyes. "Mommy please stop crying", Heavenly comforted, as she gave Phoebe a hug. "I'm sorry I messed up", Phoebe said. "Phoebe is alright everyone makes mistakes", Prue comforted, as she hugged Phoebe. "Cole please wait", Phoebe called, as Cole started to walk away. "What do you want?...you have already hurt me enough", Cole said, before he shimmered away. Her sisters and Heavenly hugged Phoebe who was sobbing. "I'll go check on him to make sure he's alright", Leo said. "See you later honey", Piper said, as Leo kissed her before orbing after Cole. "Come on Heavenly let's go to bed", Paige said, prying Heavenly away from Phoebe. "No I want to stay with mommy", Heavenly stated. "I know baby but she needs to cool off", Paige reasoned. "OK", Heavenly gave in as Paige led her upstairs, away but not far from the drama. After Paige came downstairs and Delante became conscious, but the charmed ones had tied him up that he couldn't move, Phoebe had stopped crying but was still in anguish. "Delante how could you?", Piper asked. "I...I ca..a..nn explain", Delante stammered. "Explain what exactly you monster what's your excuse this time", Prue said. "Prue try and calm down so we can get more information", Piper said. "Who is this demon Dream?", Prue asked. "I can't stay I swore not to tell", Delante confessed. "If you don't tell us we would be forced to use the truth spell anyways so say the truth willingly or be forced pick one", Paige said. "And besides Dream is dead", Piper added. "He promised me wealth in exchange of Heavenly's soul to be sold to him so she would be destined to marry him", Delante confessed and immediately feeling relieved after letting it out. "YOU MONSTER", Phoebe screamed, as she hit across the face. "Phoebe", Paige called, as she and Piper held Phoebe back. "I'm sorry", Delante said. "No you're not", Prue stated. "What more do you know?", Paige asked. "I have already said it all". "LIAR", Phoebe hollered, as she hit him again before her sisters could stop her. "Phoebe I'm sorry I allowed money and fame to blind me", Delante pleaded. "Just tell us what we want to know", Prue ordered. Delante sighed. "Paige get the truth spell", Prue said. "OK I'll talk no need for that", Delante said, before Paige could respond. "Do not leave anything out", Prue warned. "Dream is apart of a cult of demons who prey on witch children", Delante revealed. "So there are more these sickos?", Piper asked. "Yes a lot more and they go after witch children and capture until they are old enough to be married and marry so they could have children who are half witch half demon", Delante explained. "I have a half demon and witch child what's the big deal?", Phoebe asked. "Yeah but you're raising her for good these demons want to raise them in dark magic" Delante revealed, when suddenly a ring of fire appeared around Delante. "What's going on?", Paige asked. "I said too much", Delante said, as the sisters backed a way from him. "I'm sorry and tell Heavenly that I am truly sorry", Delante said, before the fire completely surrounded, as he disappeared. "If Dream is dead then how did he know when he told us?", Paige asked. "I don't think Dream did this", Prue said. "I am just glad that monster is finally out of our lives", Phoebe said, as she walked out.
The next morning Phoebe woke up and all the memories of last night came and hit her, it was like she was punched in the chest. After taking a calm relaxing shower, Phoebe made her way downstairs, as she immediately felt Cole's presence Phoebe and Cole were so close that they could feel each other's presence it wasn't sensing it was their connection that came from their love; Phoebe walked into the living room, as Cole was sitting with his face in his hands. "I'm sorry", Phoebe said, which made Cole look up. "Good morning", Cole greeted. "Morning... look I know I messed up I thought I was protecting my daughter... I was blinded by doubt and fear and I'm so sorry", Phoebe said, as she started crying. "It's alright baby", Cole soothed, as he immediately went and embraced Phoebe. "I don't deserve you", Phoebe said. "Don't say that... and I'm sorry for the way I talked to you... I just need you to trust me or what's the point... how do you think I would feel I'm a demon all fingers will always be pointed at me", Cole said. "No it was my stupidity and me jumping to conclusions", Phoebe said. "It's alright you're my wife and I love you and you were just trying to be careful I get that", Cole said. "I love you so much", Phoebe said, as they shared a passionate kiss. That evening Wyatt and Sophia's birthday party held, many friends, and Victor came. It was actually Wyatt's birthday, Sophia's birthday was coming up in 2 months and they wanted to do it together but at Sophia's birthday they will do a little family party.
