Hello everyone! I am SOOOO sorry for the late update. I was lazy and eventually I forgot all about the existence of the story! X(
I suddenly remembered about it and happened to check my account and then realised how there were still people reading! I was touched and really happy, (I literally jumped in joy no kidding).
I have forgotten the plot I thought up previously (damn) so bear with me if the plot sucks from here on! It was so embarrassing reading my previous two chapters trying to remember my plot. Sorry for the delay but here is the next Chapter! :D
Me don't own Vocaloid
Len POV
What was her problem?! Seriously! Hatsune-san has done nothing wrong to her, and yet she still treats her like this!
Why did she glare at me just now? Why does she always look at everyone like that even though we've never done anything to her? Is she trying to seek attention? Is she purposely isolating herself from everyone else? I really couldn't understand this girl I and don't think I ever will. Why does she act like this?!
I sighed hopelessly, knowing that no matter what I did, I was still going to be stuck with her as my partner.
Why couldn't it have been Hatsune-san...?
"Len, I'm fine, you don't have to support me like this", my train of thought was disrupted by Miku. I turned towards her and saw her flash another one of her sweet smiles and withdrew her arm off my neck. "I'm not that weak you know!"
I looked at her and scanned her body head to toe. Her slender body looked so fragile, as if she would break into pieces if I used too much force on her. Whenever I touched her, I felt as if I was handling a delicate porcelain figure and was cautious not to shatter her into pieces. Seeing her fall down just now made me really worried for a second. For that one moment I really thought she was going to be broken and it would have been Shion's fault. I clenched my fists and felt my temper rising. I heaved a deep breath trying to calm myself down.
I examined Miku once again. She seemed to be able to stand on her own like usual. But I was not convinced. She could have injured herself (possibly) severely.
I looked at her seriously and gripped her tiny shoulders, "Hatsune-san, are you really okay? If there's anywhere on your body hurting even a little, you have to tell me! I'm... worried about you..." I can't possibly NOT be worried after seeing almost a whole shelf toppling over her body!
"Len! I'm really really fine! There's nothing to worry about," she laughed slightly and brushed my hands off her shoulder, "Let's go back to class okay?" It comforted me that she was her usual cheery self and she didn't seem too affected or traumatised by what happened just now. Nonetheless, I was still not convinced she was okay.
"I'll take you to the Nurse's Office, Hatsune-san" I grabbed her wrist and began dragging her towards the other building
"It's M-I-K-U Len, and I'm fine!" Miku resisted a little, trying to shake off my grip but I didn't budge and continued leading her all the way to the other building. She was silent the whole time, a little abnormal from her usual self.
...
I went inside the Nurse's Office and saw the Nurse, Miss Lily sitting at her desk wearing a long, white lab coat. She was a tall and beautiful woman with long, silky yellow hair that cascaded down until her waist in a loose, low ponytail. The sound of the door sliding open caught her attention and she turned towards us.
She stood up and slightly pushed her glasses up. A soft smile was plastered on her face. She took a small step towards us and greeted, "Good afternoon, how may I help you?"
"Good afternoon Miss Lily," I gave her a slight bow and pulled Hastu-.. I mean, Miku into the clinic. "um... My friend fell down just now and I just wanted to make sure she wasn't injured. Do you mind giving her a check up please?" I squeaked timidly.
She took a long look at me and Miku, and smiled.
"Ofcourse, right this way" she led Miku to a chair and sat beside her. "Now, Hastune-san" she said while glancing at Miku's nametag, "are you feeling any pain in any areas?"
I looked around the Office, there were a few beds lined up, hidden behind a pale green curtain on the left. On the right there were a few clear wooden cabinets with a few bottles of medication in them. Behind her desk, there was a window with a clear view of the tiny garden in school. There was a potted yellow plant resting near the window platform. It was a beautiful flower, I wonder what it was called?
"Alright, I'll just need to attend to your elbow a bit. You seem to have a slight friction burn" I heard Miss Lily say. She had a smooth voice and a calm tone which comforted me. No wonder she was a nurse. Her words were really reassuring, and seemed to ease my worries about Miku's injuries.
"Are you really sure Miss Lily?" I asked again.
She gave me a glance and a smile. "She's fine don't worry. You just take her back to class, alright? I'm gonna have my lunch now, you two head back quickly now okay?" she stood up and walked past me.
"Take good care of her now," she whispered as she brushed past me, patting me on my shoulder.
I turned towards Miku. She was examining the patch Miss Lily just applied for her. I sat in front of her and leaned forward, resting my elbows on my knee.
"Hatsune-san, what happened just now? Did Shion hurt you?" I gave Miku a serious look and stared sternly into her eyes. If Shion was intentionally trying to hurt Miku just now, I don't care whether she's my partner or not, I am not going to forgive that girl.
"Well, Shion-san she..."
Hello everyone! It's been so long! Im so sorry about this crappy chapter, I was too excited to quickly post it to tell everyone I was alive again. This was actually supposed to be half a chapter but I just wanted an update really quickly so I got lazy :/
I wasn't listening at all during class today. I was planning the story's plotline :3 I'm a bad student don't learn from me.
Anyway, sorry for the delay, here's Chapter 3! Sorry it was so short and boring _
