A dog, a dragon, and a snake walk into a bar. "I can't believe I let you two talk me into this," Hatori sighed.

"My dear Hatori," Ayame began, "what kind of friends would we be if we didn't take you out drinking for your birthday?"

"You do remember what happened the last time I went out drinking with the two of you," Hatori glared.

"Like it was yesterday," Shigure smiled. "It was a group date and I was torturing my editor Mit-chan by inviting her as my date when I had a novel due in three days."

"I was playing Pokki Gemu [a kissing game where you start on opposite ends of a pastry and meet in the middle] with Mine Kuramae," Ayame beamed. "We were both dressed like French maids."

"And I had just decided to wipe Kana's memory," Hatori stated as his voice started to quiver. "So excuse me for not having the fondest memories of getting drunk."

Ayame poured Hatori a glass of Umeshu Plum Wine. "Please drink this"

"Kampai," Hatori raised his glass and downed the shot of liquor.

Hours later and bright red the three friends happily munched Ubiquitous Street Pizza on their way back to Shigure's house where they would all sleep off their hangovers.

Before going to bed, Shigure grabbed a tokkuri of sake. "It's not called hair of the dog for nothing."
