A/N: A few notes for the rest of the story. I'm bringing in a few characters and they aren't going to be the way they were in the show. At least not completely. Which you may have already figured out with some of the main characters. Updates are going to be sporadic so If it takes longer than a week please leave a comment or message me cause life gets crazy. At some point I have changed the spelling from Maddy=Maddie. I have changed it after the fact though some of it is already posted. I did the same with Rhydian. I put the why before the h. I do believe that is all currently if I have anything more to say I'll put it in the next chapter. Thank you for reading and hope you enjoy!

The next day Maddy was getting her things out of her locker with Shannon as the Three K's walked by.

"Oh, Maddy where's Rhydian? Left you already, has he? Well, it was only a matter of time." Kara said snickering as she opened her locker.

"A matter of time for what?" Katarina asked tilting her head as she thought about what they meant.

Maddy rolled her eyes as she shook her head. "Rhydian is just a family friend. He'll actually be with us for the semester. My parents are in the office with him now."

"You mean he's coming to school with us?" Kay asked raising an eyebrow. "Maybe there's time to save him from your clutches after all." She said as the three of them started laughing.

"Okay, you know what!" Shannon said as she turned on them grabbing her arm.

"Leave it Shan, it's no use. Come on, we need to meet Tom at the dark room anyway." She said as she started pulling her away.

"Yeah, you're right. But one of these day's I'm going to lay into them." She said huffing as she held her books close.

"I'm sure you will one day but can that day be the day we graduate so we don't have to see them after that?" She asked chuckling softly.

"That depends on how annoying they are between now and then." She said as they made it to the dark room.

"Well, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, it seems like everything seems to be in order." Mr. Jefferies said as he looked across at the two parents and Rhydian.

"I do hope so Mr. Jefferies." Emma said smiling at him. "It was very last minute. Ceri had to stay behind to take care of his younger brother Bryn."

"Oh?" He asked raising an eyebrow as he tilted his head. "Are we to expect his brother to join?"

"Bryn would be in primary school. However, he's currently sick. So, mum stayed to care for him until he's better and sent me on ahead." Rhydian said as he bounced his leg slightly.

"I see." He said nodding as he hummed and tapped his pen on the desk. "I take it your father isn't in the picture?"

"No, sir. My father left shortly after Bryn was born. I barely know the man. Probably wouldn't even recognize him if I saw him walking the streets." He said nodding. "Just me mum and Bryn."

"Well then. I do believe everything is in order. Your mum certainly has all the paper's filled out." He said as he stood up. "If you want to wait outside for just a moment, I'll get your schedule printed up."

"Thank you, sir." He said nodding as Emma and Daniel stood up with him following shortly after.

The three of them walked to the outer office as Emma looked at Rhydian. "Are you sure you're going to be alright?"

"I'm going to be fine, Mrs. Smith." He said as he smiled at her. "If anything happens, I'm sure Maddy can help."

"They'll be fine Emma. How much trouble and a couple of teenagers get into anyway?" Daniel asked putting his hand on her shoulder.

She let out a breath and nodded. "I know, I know, I just worry." She said as Mr. Jefferies came out of his office.

"Well then, Mr. Morris here's your schedule and I'm sure, Ms. Smith, Ms. Kelly, and Mr. Okanawe will be happy to show you around. I'm surprised Ms. Smith didn't come in with you today."

"Oh, we thought it best if Maddy were to gather her things rather than sitting around and listening to all this." Daniel said as he shook his hand. "We'll be off then Mr. Jefferies. Be good Rhydian." He said giving him a pointed look as the two of them headed out of the school.

Rhydian nodded and hummed slightly as he looked at his schedule. "Come along Rhydian I'll show you to where Ms. Smith is." Mr Jefferies said nodding as he guided him towards the photography room.

Tom, Shannon, and Maddy were walking out of the photography room as they spotted the principle and Rhydian.

"Good morning, Mr. Jefferies." They called as they walked up to them.

"Good morning children." He said holding his hands behind his back. "I do believe you all know Rhydian and I'm sure you'll make him feel welcome."

They nodded as Tom smiled. "Of course, Mr. Jefferies." He said as he nodded to Rhydian.

"I'll be on my way then. Ms. Smith, I do hope to see you after school to make up that the test you missed on Friday. Before I'm off welcome to Bradlington high Rhydian."

"Of course, Mr. Jefferies." She said nodding to him before he walked away.

Rhydian looked at her and hummed. "So, where to first?" He asked his hands in his pockets.

"Well, what's your locker number? You should set your things down before we head to class. You don't wanna be carrying around everything all day."

"I don't have much honestly. Just my sketch book and some pencils." He said shrugging.

"Right, so we go to the library first." Shannon said nodding as she guided him towards the library.

The other's followed him and chuckled a little as they told him everything he would need to get.
