Authors Note: Hey guys! New chapter in less than 24 hours, Say What?!... What! You bet! As always you guys are awesome and I want to shout out to my two reviewers Goldielover and DearChibico. And as for DearChibica, I should have added this in last chapter note, but I want the to be an actual Quileute name and want the meaning to be something to do with light, sun or even star. Embry's POV

I hate running patrols! It just means I am away from Artemis. Even though she is at work and she thinks that I am too. Doesn't change the fact that I would rather be with her, then on patrol.

Please Embry, give us a break, Ace begs.

We get it, you miss her, Zane adds.

Oh shut up you two. You don't have an imprint so you don't understand, I tell them.

Yea and with the way all of you think, I don't think I want one, Zane tells me.

You guys are young, you just don't understand, I say to them.

When are you going to tell her about you being a super cool werewolf? Ace asks.

I don't know? I respond.

We are all tired of waiting. One day one of us is going to slip up and tell her, Zane teases.

No you will not! This is between me and Artemis. And I will tell her when I feel she is ready and can handle it, I yell at them too.

Man we were just kidding, Ace tells me.

Enough yik yak. Get back to patrolling you two, I tell them.

I know they are right but I had no idea when the right time would be to tell her. Artemis has gone through so much already and what if this is her breaking point? What if she cant handle it?

And then how will she take the whole imprinting thing? On yea I just looked at your eyes and knew you meant the world to me? That I had to protect you? That we are destined to be with each other forever? Yea, then she will be running for the hills.

Man you may be older than us but you are an idiot, Ace tells me.

Mind your own business, I reply, hating the link we had between us.

Seriously, do you not see that Artemis is in love with you. You have loved her through everything she has told you and you don't think she will love you through this? The fact that you turn into a wolf and are her soulmate? Ace says.

If you can't see that then you really are an idiot, Zane agrees.

Look, I'm not getting love advice from 12 year olds," I say angrily.

Were 13! They both say like it makes a difference.

My point exactly, I reply.

Hey, they both say, again at the same time.

Now stop listening to my thoughts and start patrolling. We did just have a vampire sighting a few weeks ago, I remind them.

That got them in gear and they started patrolling and sniffing anything out of place. Good, they will leave me alone.

Thinking of the vampire gave me chills. He wants Artemis and is determined to have her but I will never let that happen, over my dead body. Just pissed me off that I wasn't able to finish him off the first time and that he got away. Next time though, I will kill him. He won't ever lay a hand on Artemis or my baby.

That's crazy to say. My baby. It has been three weeks since I had told Artemis that I wanted to be there for that child and I meant every word I said. Artemis has been through enough and she didn't need to raise the child on her own. After seeing the child and watching it grow and her. I knew I wanted to be there for this baby.

Artemis was 11 weeks along now and I could notice the small changes in her stomach size. She was getting a small baby bump and she looked even more beautiful. Last week we went to her 2nd doctor appointment to get some kind of test done and check out the baby again. She smiled like no other when she saw the ultrasound.

That day she also had scheduled her check-up for her wrist. She was shocked when they told her that it was healed and she could get the cast off. Though they did say Artemis would have to wear a brace for a week or so. She was even happier about that. Artemis had been complaining about how itchy it was getting and I could definitely smell it. It was gross. So her and I were both happy to get rid of the cast.

We are in a good place but I hate lying to her. Every night I have patrol, Artemis thinks I am at my mom's house. Or some days I tell her I am at work but I'm not because I am out patrolling. I still feel awful for not telling her the truth.

Stop putting it off dude! Ace tells me.

I'm not, I yell to him, I am waiting til she is ready!

She is ready? You mean, when you are ready? Zane jumps in.

I mean her! I tell them, practically yelling.

Bullshit! You are making excuses. Grow some balls and tell her, Ace yells back.

Seriously dude, just tell her, Zane calmly says.

Fine! I will tell her tonight! I say to get them to shut up. But I am going to do it. Though hopefully it doesn't ruin our date. Tonight I am going to tell Artemis that I am a werewolf.

Artemis's POV:

"Bye Peggy," I yell to her, walking out the door.

"Bye dear," she yells back.

Today was pretty busy at work and I just couldn't wait to get home and see Embry. We were planning on going out for dinner tonight, and I was excited. With both of us working, school work, and everyone else, we haven't had much time for just the two of us. And when we did have time, I have been sick with morning sickness. But today, I was feeling good and ready for a great night with Embry. Or so I thought.

As I walked home, I became lost in thought of tonight's plans, I didn't notice I was being followed until it was too late. I was grabbed from behind, a hand over my mouth and a knife at my throat. Then a familiar voice whispered into my ear.

"Make a sound, you little whore, and I will slit your throat and then do the same to your mother and Embry."?
