This is not a new chapter, it's just an author's note, the reason why this story isn't marked as complete yet... an update, if you prefer. Your feedback on this story has been BEYOND AMAZING and I bring good news.
THERE'S GOING TO BE A SEQUEL, YES.
I just don't know when exactly. Can't make any promises, but I can tell you I'm working on it!
Also, I have a request: I haven't planned out 100% of the plot for the sequel yet, there's a lot of things I don't know yet, so I'd like to know what YOU would like to see in it, so if you have any ideas, suggestions, anything you'd like to see really, please let me know, either over review or PM, doesn't matter which. I'd really love to hear from you, so don't hesitate to write! I'll see how much of your ideas I can include in what I do have planned for the story. But anything is great for inspiration and I'd totally give you credit for the idea if it does end up in the story, so don't hold back!
You guys should know it's so weird for me to write something that I don't have completely planned out! I had "War of Hearts" planned out in my head since day 1 and I know exactly what happens in "What I Did For Love" (shameless self-advertising here) too and how it happens and why and well... about 99% of it. And writing this fic has been an incredible experience for me. Not just because of the great feedback I got for it, I love that people love the story, but I also feel proud because I got to the finish line, I got to write this and fall in love even more with Malec! I've read some great fics too and I got to meet a bunch of awesome people through this site for which I'm very grateful. If we've ever exchanged just as much as a couple of PMs or if you reviewed, but I didn't get back to you for some reason (I can be very distracted sometimes and my memory sucks, so I apologize if that happened!) just know that you've inspired me more than you probably think. And I truly, from the bottom of my heart, am thankful for you!
Anyway, I'll stop rambling now and tell you something more exciting, lol. *wipes tear away*
Good news number 2: I'M WRITING A CHRISTMAS SPECIAL SHADOWHUNTERS STORY. If you're reading this around December 12th 2016, if should be up by now. I'm planning it to be a one shot, just fluffy Christmasy stuff... you know me, I love the fluff... no drama obviously, no angst at all... I think... maybe not... hehe. You'll have to read and find out. :P
So what's next now... I'm going to do a final revision of this story, fix typos and stuff like that before making it complete. My priorities right now are "What I Did For Love" and Christmas fic, but if you're reading this in 2017 then priorities are definitely "What I Did For Love" and Sequel!
