Weeks had passed since the birth of the babies with each of them making steady progress. Soon Emma, Devon, and Henry were able to be held skin-to-skin. Everyday when Kurt and Blaine came to visit, they seemed to get good news.

With good news, came bad. Mackenzie still wasn't gaining weight as her brothers and sisters. However they were able to remove the breathing tube. Kurt and Blaine thought this had been some progress, but were still worried.

One morning, while they were learning to feed two babies at once, one of the nurses came to talk to them.

"Kurt, Blaine. I'd like to talk to you about the babies' progress." she stated.

The two nodded and the nurse, Alexis pulled up a stool. "Well, as both of you know, five of the six are doing great." she started. "Although, Mackenzie will need some extra time here."

Kurt and Blaine nodded sadly. "What do you think's causing her not to gain weight?" Kurt asked, concerned.

"Well, she is gaining weight, but much slower then the other babies." Alexis admitted. She looked down at the clipboard she was holding. "When she was born she weighed 2 lbs. 4 oz. But it's been 3 months since and she's only gained 2 pounds." she explained.

"Is there anything we can do to help her." Blaine insisted.

"I'm afraid it's all up to her." Alexis said sadly.

"Maybe you should give her a different kind of formula." Kurt exclaimed.

Alexis smiled at Kurt. "We've tried several different types, Kurt, but everything seems to irritate her small stomach."

Tears were threatening to spill from Kurt's eyes.

"Maybe she just needs me." someone said, making everyone turn and to see Lucy, standing in the doorway.

"What are you talking about Lucy?" Blaine asked, clearly confused.

"Maybe if I try holding and feeding her, she might feel more comfortable." Lucy suggested.

Alexis nodded. "If you'd like to sit down, I'll hand her to you and you'll need to hold her skin-to-skin while feeding her."

Lucy nodded and sat down in an empty rocking chair. She looked at Kurt and Blaine. "It looks like you guys have your hands full." she laughed.

Blaine smiled, laughing at how true that statement was. "Yeah, but I think we'll get used to it."

Lucy smiled.

Alexis came back holding the smallest of the six babies and carefully handed Mackenzie to Lucy. She placed her gently on Lucy's chest. Alexis handed Lucy a small bottle of formula and as soon as the little girl heard Lucy's heartbeat, she started drinking. Lucy smiled at what was happening. Her heart began to swell with pride.

Kurt and Blaine noticed how quickly Mackenzie had started eatting when Lucy held her.

"I think someone missed you." Blaine whispered.

Lucy laughed. "Yeah, I think she did."

The next few days, Mackenzie began making more and more progress. Although she was still small, the doctors had seen a great improvement in the tiny baby's health since Lucy had started feeding her.

While Blaine and Kurt were learning to bathe the babies, Alexis had come to talk to them once more.

"You two look like naturals." she complimented.

Blaine nodded his thanks.

"I wanted to let you know, Cory and Elizabeth look like they'll be the first ones to go home."

Both men looked at each other shocked and surprised.

"Are you sure? I mean, they're both healthy enough for us to take them home?" Kurt exclaimed.

Alexis laughed. "Yes, they're both the biggest, weighing at 6 ½ and 6 pounds, Also they're eating and breathing on their own. I don't think there's a reason they can't go home tomorrow."

"Tomorrow?" they squealed together.

Alexis laughed again. "Yes, tomorrow."

"What about the other four?" Kurt asked quickly.

"Yes, especially our little Mackenzie." Blaine added.

Alexis nodded. "Well Mackenzie may be the last to leave. She still needs to gain a few more pounds, but as for Emma, Devon and Henry, you might be able to take them home next week."

Blaine and Kurt hugged each other happily.

"Why don't you two go home you can set up your house for the newest occupants." Alexis teased.

Blaine laughed and gave Alexis a friendly hug.

Kurt and Blaine left the hospital and went to making everything in their house baby-proof. Even though they couldn't walk yet, Kurt insisted on putting up safety gates throughout the house.

"I can't believe we get to bring two of our babies home tomorrow." Kurt squealed.

Blaine looked over at Kurt and smiled. "I know. It's very exciting." Kurt nodded in agreement. "Wait a minute." he gasped.

"What's wrong?" Blaine asked.

"Well, two things. One, we didn't find a car that would fit all of us and two, what are we going to do when we have all six home? There's only two of us." Kurt exclaimed.

Blaine moved closer to Kurt and wrapped his arms around him. "Well, for one thing, we could go car shopping today or wait until we have Cory and Elizabeth with us." he suggested.

Kurt glared at his husband. "You really want to wait until we have two of our children with us, who just got out of the hospital, to shop for a car?"

Blaine held up his hands in defense. "Ok, ok. You win." he laughed. "Then I think we should start looking for a 12-seater van."

"What now?" Blaine asked, stifling a laugh.

"I never thought I would be driving a 12-seater van." Kurt confessed.

Blaine shook his head. "Hey, I never thought we would have a six babies at once, but we do."

Kurt leaned in and kissed Blaine. Blaine smiled.

"What about when we have all six at home? We're going to need a lot of help." Kurt admitted.

Blaine nodded. "I know. That's why I have called in several favors. I already asked my brother, parents, your parents, the New Directions and some of the Warblers to come up, once we have all of them home. And don't worry, I checked several hotels and that's where most of them will stay."

Kurt engulfed Blaine in a hug. "Oh, I love you so much. I know that if I'm over thinking something you are always two steps ahead of me."

"I love you too." Blaine whispered into Kurt's ear. "Come on. We need to go car shopping."

Kurt smiled and let Blaine tug him out of the house as they went to buy a family car.
