Blaine looked down at Cory and Elizabeth and placed kisses on each of their foreheads before leaving.
"Are you going back to the hospital?" Kate asked.
"Yeah, but we should be back soon with three more babies." Blaine exclaimed happily.
Kate smiled, giving him a hug and kiss on the cheek. "Take your time honey. We'll be here when you get back."
Blaine nodded. "Thanks mom."
"Here, you don't want to forget these." she reminded Blaine as she picked up the two carseats.
Blaine laughed. "Yeah, I can't forget those." he grabbed the carseats and headed out of the front door. "Bye mom."
Kate waved her son out of the house.
As Blaine drove back to the hospital, he felt like he had the babies in the back seats, by driving under the speed limit. When he arrived back at the NICU, he noticed Kurt changing Mackenzie's diaper. Blaine walked in quietly, so not to disturb the bonding time between the two.
Kurt seemed to enjoy changing a dirty diaper.
"Hey, I bet there's more where that came from." Blaine teased.
Kurt jumped slightly, turning around and seeing Blaine standing there smiling.
"Hey! How long have you been standing there?" Kurt asked.
Blaine smiled back. "Not long."
Kurt shook his head as he finished changing Mackenzie and picked her up. "So, did you bring the other two carseats?"
Blaine nodded. "Yes, and I emailed your parents and all of our friends letting them know we're bringing home the babies."
"That's great." Kurt stated.
"And you know what else is great?" Blaine questioned.
Kurt shook his head. "No? What else?"
"Cooper took me out to the garage and there were boxes of diapers, wipes, formula, clothes, and everything else you could think of." Blaine started.
Kurt's eyes went wide.
"He also said some woman dropped this off for us." he added, showing Kurt the gift card. "It's $50.00 for Babies 'R Us."
"Oh my gosh. That's wonderful Blaine." Kurt exclaimed.
Blaine smiled. "I know. Cooper just said people just showed up and started dropping stuff off."
Kurt shook his head in disbelief. "I can't wait to see all of the clothes."
Blaine laughed. "I started to look through some of them and they are really cute."
Kurt laughed as he looked down at Mackenzie. Blaine's gaze shifted to the little girl in his husband's arms as well.
After a minute of staring at the tiny baby, Blaine looked up at Kurt.
"Come on, let's get the Emma, Devon, and Henry ready to go home. I know there are some people back at the house who are more then excited to see them." Blaine admitted.
Kurt laughed. "Okay, let me put Mackenzie back in her bed." he started to place her back but Blaine stopped him.
"Wait, let me hold her for a minute. We might not be able to come as often, so I want to hold her as much as I can." Blaine insisted, as Kurt handed her over.
"Hey little girl." Blaine cooed. "I'm so glad you're doing better. And soon we'll be able to take you home. Grandma and grandpa and uncle Cooper are waiting for you. So are Cory and Elizabeth."
Mackenzie started to stir a bit in Blaine's arms. "Just rest as you can, because once you come home, I'm sure it's not going to be as quiet as it is here."
Kurt laughed as he heard this.
Blaine gently placed a kiss on Mackenzie's forehead then placed her back in her bed. He took a few extra minutes taking in the image of Mackenzie lying there, before he went to help Kurt with the other three babies.
While Kurt and Blaine were getting Henry, Devon and Emma ready to go home, nurse Emily came over with several papers.
"These are their discharge papers." she stated, as she handed them to Kurt. "In case you need anything, don't hesitate to give us a call."
Kurt and Blaine smiled. "Thanks Emily. You and all the other nurses and doctors have been wonderful." Kurt admitted.
Emily smiled. "It just makes me happy to see families take their babies home."
Blaine and Kurt finished getting the three babies changed and into their carseats. They weren't thrilled to being strapped in, and they all began to cry.
"Uh-oh. I think they are only testing us." Blaine teased.
Kurt shook his head and bent down to face the babies. "It's ok. We'll be home before you know it." he soothed.
Blaine placed a hand on Kurt's shoulder. "Come on. Let's get them out of here."
Kurt nodded and stood, picking up Devon and Emma's carseats, while Blaine picked up Henry's. They started to walk out of the NICU, but stopped at Mackenzie's bed first.
"Don't worry baby girl. You'll be home soon." Kurt cooed.
"We love you sweetheart." Blaine added, as he placed his hand to his lips and then to her tiny head. He turned to Kurt and nodded.
They walked out of the NICU and out to the car.
"Ok, since we already have Cory and Elizabeth's spots in the front, we can put one more with them and then the other three in the next row." Kurt explained.
"Well, since we have these three, why don't we put them in the middle row and then when we bring Mackenzie home, we can put her with Cory and Elizabeth?" Blaine suggested.
"That sounds like a good idea." Kurt nodded, climbing in the car and Blaine began handing him carseats, making sure they were each anchored down securely.
When each baby was fastened in, Kurt climbed out of the van and closed the door. "All right, let's get going." he announced.
Blaine smiled and placed a quick kiss on Kurt's lips. They hopped in the front seats and headed home.
The drive home was quiet. Kurt kept looking towards the back seats to make sure they were all ok. Once they made it home, both Blaine and Kurt breathed a sigh of relief, as they got out of the car.
Blaine walked around to the other side, and helped Kurt get the babies out.
"Here's one baby." Kurt started, as he handed Blaine Devon's carseat.
"Hey baby boy." said Blaine, as he peeked his head in the carseat.
"Here's another baby." Kurt added, as he handed Blaine Emma. He grabbed the handle and set the two down on the ground.
"And last, but least, here's another baby." Kurt laughed, as he carried Henry's carseat and hopped out of the van, closing the door behind him.
"Are you ready to introduce these three to their new home?" Blaine teased.
Kurt rolled his eyes. "You're such a dork."
"Yes, but I'm your dork. And you love it." Blaine replied, kissing Kurt on the cheek.
They carried the babies up the front step. Kurt fished his keys out of his pocket and unlocked the door and quietly walked inside, incase Cory and Elizabeth were sleeping.
"Hello?" Blaine called quietly.
"There's some people who would like to meet their grandparents and uncle." Kurt added.
Kate came out of the kitchen and ran to Kurt and Blaine.
"Oh my goodness, look at my grandchildren!" she squealed, happily.
"Emma, Devon, Henry, this is grandma Kate." Blaine introduced.
Kate began to coo over them.
"Where's dad and Cooper?" Blaine asked.
"Oh, Cooper's feeding Cory, while Elizabeth is taking a nap and your dad went out to the garage to get some more formula so I could start making bottles." Kate explained, as she started to unbuckle Emma.
Kurt and Blaine unbuckled and took Devon and Henry out and went to sit down on the couch.
"Blaine, when you get a chance, check your emails. Ever since you left, it hasn't stopped dinging." Kate stated, as she sat down in the recliner.
Blaine laughed. "I guess everyone got my email."
"Kate, which formula did you want?" Jack asked, as came in from the garage. "Hey, look who's home."
"Hey dad, or should I say grandpa?" Blaine joked.
Jack laughed and walked over to his family. "I haven't seen them in a long time. Which is which?"
"Well, I have Henry, Blaine has Devon, and Kate has Emma." Kurt replied.
"And we're hoping Mackenzie will be home by the weekend." Blaine added.
Jack smiled. "Well, do you mind if I hold one of them?"
"Sure dad. You can hold Devon." Blaine replied. "I should go check those emails." Blaine stood up and handed Devon to his father. "I'm also going to see how uncle Cooper is doing." he joked, making the other adults laugh.
Blaine walked upstairs, peeking his head in the nursery. He saw Cooper feeding Cory and could hear soft whimpers coming from Elizabeth. He walked in quietly and leaned over the crib where Elizabeth's face was scrunching up.
"Hey, what's the matter princess?" Blaine cooed. A second later, he got his answer, when a foul smell hit his nose. "Oh, Lizzie. Why didn't you save that for your uncle Cooper? He loves when you give him little gifts." Blaine carefully picked Elizabeth out of her crib and placed her on the changing table.
"Trust me little brother. Each of them have been giving me plenty of gifts." Cooper said with a yawn.
Blaine turned his head. "Hey, now that we have three more home and one more this weekend, you'll be the most loved uncle in the world."
"Ha ha. Very funny." Cooper mocked. "So, you brought more babies home?"
"Yep. Emma, Devon and Henry. They're downstairs with daddy, grandma and grandpa." Blaine cooed at Elizabeth.
Cooper carefully stood up, placing Cory over his shoulder. "You know, I like seeing this side of you."
Blaine finished putting a clean diaper on Lizzie and buttoned her onesie. "What side?"
"This soft side. The daddy side." Cooper clarified.
Blaine picked Elizabeth up and held her. "Actually I'm papa. Kurt's daddy."
Cooper laughed.
