Here is the second part of the previous chapter that I had mentioned. I hope you like it and that it makes since.

Enjoy

Early the next morning, Kurt and Blaine made their way to the hospital (hopefully for the last time) to pick up Mackenzie and bring her home to join their family.

Blaine and Kurt clasped each other's hands as they walked into the NICU and up to Mackenzie's bed.

"Hey baby girl. Are you ready to go home?" Blaine cooed.

"Good morning gentlemen." greeted Dr. Grant.

Both men looked up and smiled at the doctor.

"How's Mackenzie this morning?" Kurt asked. "We can take her home today, right?"

Dr. Grant continued smiling. "Yes, but I am going to send her home on oxygen and an apnea monitor."

Kurt and Blaine nodded.

Nurse Emily walked up next to Dr. Grant. "I'm going to show you what to do incase she stops breathing and the monitor goes off."

Blaine and Kurt paid attention as Emily told them what to do incase Mackenzie's monitor were to go off.

"Now, if you have tried everything and you still can't get her to respond, that's when you call 911." Emily finished explaining.

"Hopefully that won't happen." Blaine sighed.

"That's what we all hope for." Emily nodded.

"I'm going to check Mackenzie one final time, before I release her." Dr. Grant stated, as she began examining the baby girl.

"Congratulations gentlemen. Mackenzie Rose Hummel-Anderson is ready to be discharged from the hospital."

Kurt and Blaine couldn't help but shed a few tears at the news they were just given. Their youngest and smallest daughter was finally well enough to go home.

After Emily removed all of the IV wires, she handed Mackenzie to Blaine.

"You're finally going home sweetie." Blaine cooed.

"There are so many people waiting to see you." Kurt cooed.

Blaine gently placed Mackenzie in the infant seat.

"Honey, be careful of her oxygen and monitor wires." Kurt gasped.

"I've got it Kurt." Blaine reassured his husband as he finished buckling in the little girl. "Your daddy's just nervous." he teased, sticking his tongue out at Kurt.

Once Mackenzie was secure in her carseat, Blaine and Kurt said their final goodbyes to Dr. Grant, Emily and the rest of the nurses.

"Thank you all for taking such good care of our children." said Blaine.

"Yes, thank you so much." added Kurt.

Emily and Dr. Grant smiled at them. "You're very welcome." Dr. Grant replied. "We're just happy when parents get to take their babies home."

The two men nodded as they headed out of the NICU and down to the parking lot.

"I can't believe we're finally taking Mackenzie home." Kurt squealed excitedly.

Blaine smiled as he opened the car door. "Me too. I can't wait for everyone to meet the littlest of the bunch." he said, looking down at Mackenzie. She was starting to fall asleep as he gently placed the carseat inside in the van, making sure it was secure.

"Ok Mackenzie, next stop, home." Blaine joked, and closed the door. Blaine then hopped in the passenger seat, with Kurt in the driver's seat.

As Kurt was driving, all of a sudden they both heard a loud beeping noise coming from the backseat.

"Kurt, pull over!" Blaine said quickly.

Kurt instantly became nervous, pulling over immediately. Blaine quickly jumped out of the front and opened the back seat. He unbuckled Mackenzie, trying to get her breathe again.

"Blaine is she waking up?" Kurt cried out.

Blaine didn't answer. He was too busy concentrating on trying to help his daughter.

After a few minutes, which to Kurt felt like hours, Mackenzie started screaming, letting her fathers know she was finally breathing again. Both daddies breathed a sigh of relief as Blaine placed Mackenzie back in her carseat.

"Maybe I should sit in the back with her. Just incase." Blaine suggested.

Kurt shrugged. "Blaine, I don't know if I can drive like this."

Blaine placed his hand on Kurt's shoulders. "Honey, it's ok. I'll be right near her." he said reassuringly.

Kurt sighed. "Maybe you should drive."

"If you want to sit in the back with her, that's fine." Blaine asked.

Tears started to fall down Kurt's face.

"Hey, don't cry." said Blaine, as he wrapped his arms around Kurt. "Ssshhh. It's ok. She probably got scared, since it's her first time in the car, but she's fine now." he kissed Kurt's temple.

Kurt continued to sob as Blaine held him close. "I...I just d...don't want her to end up back in the hospital." Kurt breathed out.

Blaine nodded. "I know. Neither do I, but if we pay close attention to the monitor and respond quickly, she'll be fine."

Kurt took in another deep breath and kissed Blaine on the lips.

"Do you still want me to drive?" asked Blaine.

Kurt nodded as he climbed in the back, Blaine went around to the driver's seat and continued home.

Mackenzie slept the rest of the way home with Kurt keeping a careful eye on her. Blaine pulled the van into the driveway. He hopped out of the driver's seat and opened the side door.

"Hey. We're home." said Blaine.

Kurt didn't move.

"Kurt? Did you hear me?" Blaine asked.

Again Kurt didn't move. He continued to stare at Mackenzie.

Blaine gently touched Kurt's shoulder. "Sweetie, we're home."

Kurt turned his head slowly towards Blaine and smiled. "Sorry." he whispered. "I can't stop staring at her."

Blaine nodded. "It's ok. I know what you mean."

Kurt unbuckled himself and handed the carseat to Blaine along with the oxygen and apnea monitor.

They both walked to the front and opened the door. Once they entered the house, Kurt and Blaine heard several cries coming from throughout the house.

"Guess who's finally home?" exclaimed Blaine.

Everyone in the house heard Blaine's voice. They all came into the front room carrying a baby.

"Look who's finally home." Kurt squealed, as he lifted the cover on Mackenzie's carrier.

Everyone cooed over the little girl.

"She's beautiful boys." Kate congratulated.

Blaine and Kurt smiled.

"Well, its good to see that you finally have all six babies home." Burt stated, hugging both his son and son-in-law.
