Kurt was not looking forward to going back to work. Now that all of the babies were home, he wanted nothing more than to stay home with them.

"Maybe I can take off a few more days?" Kurt whined, getting into bed.

"No honey," Blaine shook his head. "You need to go back to work. Don't worry, everything will be fine. I promise."

Kurt looked at his husband. "I know, but what if they do something cute. I don't want to miss it."

Blaine laughed. "I'll make sure to record everything and send it to you. I'll even take plenty of pictures."

Before either of them could say another word, Mackenzie started crying. Kurt quickly got out of bed. "See, even Mackenzie doesn't want me to go back to work." he teased, picking up the crying baby from her bassinet.

Blaine shook his head, handing Kurt a bottle from the bedside table. Kurt sat down on the bed and began to feed Mackenzie.

"Kurt, I know you're nervous about going back to work," Blaine started, "But you need to trust me. Everything will be fine."

Kurt looked at Mackenzie then Blaine. "I know, but can you blame me for being a little emotional?"

Blaine smiled.

The next morning came quicker than Kurt anticipated. His alarm went off at 5:30. He hit the snooze button so as not to disturb Blaine or Mackenzie who was lying on top of his chest.

Kurt climbed out of bed and went into the bathroom as he began his morning routine. After getting dressed it was 6:00. Kurt made his way down to the kitchen and made himself a small breakfast along with a cup of coffee. Also a cup for Blaine that he took upstairs before heading out for work.

Kurt tiptoed into their bedroom and saw how cute his husband and youngest daughter were sleeping, that he didn't want to disturb them. Kurt quietly placed the coffee mug on Blaine's bedside table. He kissed him softly on the forehead doing the same with Mackenzie then crept back out of the bedroom.

Before leaving the house, Kurt went into the nursery, checking on the other babies. Quietly he opened the door and saw all five babies were still sleeping soundly. Some were on top of each other, but none seemed to be too bothered by their sibling lying on top of them. Kurt smiled as he quietly closed the door, walked down the stairs, grabbed his things and left for work.

Around 7:00am Blaine heard a soft knock coming from the front door. Still being half asleep, he shook his head and looked around the room. He noticed that Kurt's side of the bed was empty and realized Mackenzie was still lying on top of him. Carefully Blaine maneuvered himself to get out of bed and gently placed her back in the bassinet.

Blaine saw the cup of coffee that Kurt had left him and smiled. He picked up the cup and took a long sip. Grabbing his robe and draping it around himself, Blaine made his way to the front door as someone began knocking again.

"I'm coming. I'm coming." Blaine whispered, just loud enough so the person behind the door could hear.

Blaine opened the door and saw Hannah and Amy smiling at him.

"Hi Blaine!" they greeted together.

Blaine was shocked to see both woman standing in front of him. "What are you doing here so early?" he asked, shocked.

"You told us to come at 7:00 am remember?" Hannah replied.

Amy nodded. "And it's now...five after 7." she added, showing Blaine her watch.

Blaine shook his head apologetically. "I am so sorry girls. Come on in." he said, ushering them inside. "I must have over slept."

Both women smiled.

"It's ok Blaine." Hannah replied.

"The babies aren't awake yet." said Blaine. "So if you two can get their bottles ready, I would really appreciate that."

Hannah and Amy nodded.

"I'm going to go jump in the shower, but if you hear any crying, please feel free to jump right in." Blaine added, making his way back up the stairs. "Oh and Mackenzie's in our room. She's usually one of the last ones to get up."

"Don't worry Blaine." said Amy. "We have everything under control."

Blaine smiled and nodded, continuing his way back upstairs.

While Blaine was taking his shower, Amy and Hannah were preparing bottles for the day.

"Who gets which color again?" Amy asked, as she started to scoop formula into a blue colored bottle.

"The chart's on the fridge." replied Hannah.

Amy nodded, turning toward to the fridge. "Oh, it says here that Mackenzie gets lactose free formula." she noticed and Hannah suddenly stopped making bottles.

"What color is Mackenzie?" Hannah asked quickly.

"Purple." Amy replied.

"Phew. It's ok. We didn't start making her bottles yet." Hannah said in relief.

While the two new nannies were busy in the kitchen, they started to hear faint cries coming from the nursery.

"It sounds like they're awake." Hannah teased.

"Sounds like it." Amy laughed. "Let's go see who's up."

Hannah nodded in agreement following Amy upstairs.

Amy and Hannah went up to the nursery and opened the door. When they walked in, Devon and Henry were crying because they were on top of each other and couldn't figure out how to get off of the other. Hannah went over and picked up Henry off of Devon.

"That didn't look too comfortable huh buddy?" Hannah cooed. She looked in on the crib next to the two boys, which was Cory's. He was still sleeping.

Amy went to Emma and Elizabeth's crib and smelled something.

"I think someone has a dirty diaper." she cooed at the girls. Amy leaned over and picked up Emma. She turned the little girl around and smelled her bottom.

"Yep, full diaper." Amy teased.

As Amy and Hannah got the babies changed and dressed, Blaine finished with his shower and continued to get dress. While he did, Mackenzie began to wake up.

"Hey baby girl." he cooed, leaning over her bassinet. "It's ok. Papa's here." picking her up and holding her close.

As he was baby talking to Mackenzie, Blaine could hear loud cries coming from the nursery.

"Sounds like your brothers and sisters are awake." he teased. "Let's go see what they're up to and let's go see nanny Hannah and nanny Amy." he added as kissed Mackenzie on her forehead.

Blaine took her oxygen off, since she was awake, grabbed the apnea monitor and carried Mackenzie down the hall. He walked through the open door and saw Hannah and Amy doing what looked like a two person assembly line.

Hannah would hand Amy a baby and Amy would change that baby's diaper. When Amy was finished, she would hand Hannah back the baby and would dress him or her and place them on a play mat on the floor.

"Wow!" Blaine said, surprising both woman, making them turn their heads. "You two are working really well together." he complimented.

Both women smiled, as they finished changing Emma.

"Thanks." they said in unison.

"We just thought that this would be faster than one of us changing one baby at a time." Amy admitted.

Blaine shook his head. "Hey whatever makes things easier and whatever tricks you can find do is great." he complimented.

All three adults smiled.

"Why don't I finish with my little Mackenzie here," Blaine started, as he tickled the little girl's belly, trying to make her smile or laugh. "And you can take the babies downstairs and give them their morning bottles?" he suggested.

"Ok." said Hannah. "Come on babies, let's go eat breakfast." she cooed, as the babies started kicking their arms and legs happily.

Hannah carried Devon and Elizabeth while Amy carried Emma and Henry. Amy looked down at Cory before leaving the room.

"It's ok Cory. I'll be right back." she said, as if not to hurt his feelings of being left behind.

"It's ok Amy. I'll take him when I bring Mackenzie down." Blaine reassured her.

"Are you sure?" she asked, but before she could get an answer, Emma and Henry began fussing in her arms.

Blaine laughed. "Yes. Now go downstairs and start feeding the babies. I'll be down in a few minutes." he insisted.

"Ok." replied Amy, leaving the nursery.

When Amy had left the room, Blaine placed Mackenzie on the changing table. He opened the small diaper and got a very smelly surprise.

"Woah! Mackenzie!" he swatted his hand in front of his nose. "Did you sneak out for a late night snack?" he teased.

Mackenzie just stared up at her papa with her large doe eyes and opened her mouth in an O shape as Blaine continued to clean up his little girl.

Once Mackenzie was clean and dry, Blaine changed her into a new outfit and took her and Cory downstairs for their breakfast bottles.

While Blaine was busy at home, Kurt was at work trying to concentrate on his newest designs, but his mind was too focused on his family. Every time he tried to sketch something, he would get distracted and look at the picture he placed on his desk. The one that was given to him and Blaine as a surprise for their first father's day. The black and white photo of all six babies in a circle in a picture frame that said, 'We Love You Daddy.'

Kurt treasured that picture. It was the first picture of all six babies they had since they were born. He knew they would get more pictures of the whole family together, but this one was special.

"Kurt!" someone squealed, bringing him out of his daze.

He looked up and saw Isabelle standing in the doorway to his office.

"Hi Isabelle." he said softly, motioning her to come in.

"How are you?" she asked, giving him a friendly hug.

Kurt smiled. "Good. How have things been since I've been away?" he asked.

Isabelle laughed. "Everything's been fine." she replied. "Now tell me, how are those babies of yours?"

Kurt couldn't help but smile. He loved when anyone asked about his children. "They're wonderful. All six are home now."

Isabelle smiled back. "That's great to hear Kurt. Now listen," she started. "I know it's your first day back, so if you need to leave early, don't worry about it."

Kurt shook his head. "No, it's ok."

"Kurt." Isabelle said sternly. "I know how it feels to go back to work after being with them for so long." she explained and Kurt nodded.

Kurt remembered Isabelle going on maternity leave a few years ago after she had her son, James.

"It's hard at first but eventually we get used to going back to a routine." Isabelle continued. "And I know with that husband of yours back home, your kids are being well taken care of." she finished making Kurt blush.

"Thanks Isabelle." Kurt responded.

"You're welcome." Isabelle replied and clapped her hands. "Now, please tell me you have pictures of those adorable babies."

Kurt couldn't help but laugh as he showed her the photo on his desk as well as the pictures on his phone. Isabelle couldn't help but coo over every single one.
