Hello my lovelies! Yes I know it has been FOREVER! But I am back and better than ever. Now if you haven't noticed, I have taken this story and revamped it for the better. But if you haven't noticed, you might want to go back to the beginning and reread it because I have made some changes, but like I said, all for the better. And this chapter you are about to read is two chapters in one. It used to be its own chapter along with the following but I combined them and with that said I may write another chapter before the Thanksgiving chapter. I may add a Halloween chapter since that holiday is right around the corner and I really didn't do that holiday before, so yeah.
I hope you continue with me on this journey that I have planned for out Klaine and their six pack because I have a whole lot planned for them. Also please continue with your lovely reviews, follow and favorite. Thanks so much. And more to come.
After a few days back at work Kurt was getting back into the swing of things, while Blaine was settling into a routine for himself and the babies. Amy and Hannah were great with the kids. They were a big help.
One evening, Kurt and Blaine were on the living room floor playing with the babies, Blaine suggested something to his husband.
"You know Kurt, now Halloween is right around the corner, I think we should take the babies to a pumpkin patch."
Kurt ruffled his eyebrows for a second.
"What?" Blaine asked.
"Blaine, it's the beginning of cold and flu season. Do you really want to expose our children to all of those germs?" Kurt asked.
"Honey, it's going to be their first Halloween. We have to take them to a pumpkin patch and we just took them to the doctor where we all got our flu shots. Everything will be fine." Blaine admitted.
Kurt titled his head.
"What do you say?" Blaine asked again, holding Devon close to Kurt in the chance getting a yes out of him.
"Do you want to go to the pumpkin patch Devon? Huh?" Kurt cooed, taking the little boy from Blaine.
"We can get six little pumpkins and a big pumpkin for us, which we can carve into a jack-o-lantern." Blaine urged.
Kurt smiled. "Ok, you win."
Blaine leaned over and kissed Kurt. "Thank you babe."
Kurt rolled his eyes at his husband. "Yeah, yeah."
"Think of it this way. You can make six little costumes for them. Or you can make six little pumpkin hats instead." Blaine suggested.
Kurt laughed. "I think that would be cute."
Blaine picked up Mackenzie. "Are you going to be papa's cute little pumpkin? Huh?" he cooed, and kissed her cheek.
After a rough week at work, the weekend had finally come. Which meant Kurt and Blaine were going to take the babies to the pumpkin patch. They also asked one of nanny, Amy to go with them, just to be an extra pair of hands. Hannah had to go out of town that weekend, but she would be back on Monday.
Saturday morning, Kurt and Blaine got up and ready for the day. Kurt went into the nursery and started changing diapers while Blaine began to prepare bottles for the day.
"Good morning my little monkeys." Kurt said softly, as he entered the nursery.
Emma and Elizabeth were kneeling in their crib and smiled at their daddy.
"Good morning girls." he said. "How are you this morning? Did you sleep well?" he cooed as picked up Elizabeth and began to change her, only to have Emma start crying.
"Oh, it's ok honey. I'll come get you in a minute." Kurt soothed.
While Kurt was busy upstairs, Blaine was in the kitchen, when there came a soft knock at the door.
"Coming." said Blaine, stopping what he was doing and went to answer it.
"Good morning." said Amy happily.
"Good morning Amy." Blaine replied. "How are you this morning?"
"I'm good thanks. How are you?" she asked.
"Good. Come on in." he ushered her inside.
Blaine went back to the kitchen, as Amy took off her jacket.
"Is Kurt upstairs?" she asked.
"Yeah, you can go and see if he needs help." Blaine suggested.
Amy nodded, heading up the stairs.
Heading upstairs, Amy heard loud cries coming from the nursery and master bedroom. Peeking her head in the nursery, she noticed Kurt changing Devon and several of the babies floor playing on floor mats or still in their cribs waiting to be changed.
"Good morning Kurt." she said happily.
Kurt looked up for a moment. "Oh hi Amy." he said quickly, as he went back to changing Devon's diaper. "Can you get Mackenzie? I think she's ready to be changed and is running out of patience."
Amy laughed. "Sure." turning around to go to the master bedroom, leaving Kurt with the five other babies.
Amy walked over to the crib and saw a red faced-teary eyed Mackenzie.
"Oh my goodness Mackenzie." Amy sighed, reaching in and lifting her up to comfort her. "It's ok sweetheart." she cooed. "I know. I know. Shh. It's ok." Mackenzie started to settle down slightly.
After Mackenzie stopped crying, Amy took her into the nursery to get a clean diaper. Kurt noticed the tear streaks on the little girls face.
"Oh what's the matter?" Kurt baby-talked to Mackenzie.
"I think she just wanted to be held." Amy admitted.
"Why don't I change her and you can start taking the rest of them downstairs for breakfast?" Kurt suggested. "Blaine should have the bottles ready."
Amy nodded and handed Mackenzie over to her daddy.
"Hi my little girl." Kurt said softly, holding Mackenzie close to him. "What's wrong, huh?"
She held onto Kurt's shirt tightly. "Let's get you changed and you can eat breakfast with your brothers and sisters." he placed her gently down on the changing table, but as soon as he did, she started crying again.
"What's the matter sweetie?" he cooed, grabbing a toy and handing it to her. "Here honey, hold onto this." But Mackenzie kept crying.
Kurt changed Mackenzie's diaper and into a clean onesie as quick as he could. "Ok pumpkin, all done." he soothed. "Let's go downstairs and have breakfast. I bet you're hungry."
He carried Mackenzie down to the living room.
"How are my little pumpkins doing?" Kurt called as he descended the stairs.
"They are all starving." Blaine called from the couch. "Mackenzie's bottle is in the fridge."
"Thanks babe." Kurt replied, grabbing the purple bottle.
"Is she ok?" Blaine asked. "I heard her screaming."
Kurt closed the fridge door, making his way to the couch. "She's being very clingy this morning." he admitted, taking a seat next to Blaine.
"Isn't that what babies are supposed to be?" Blaine teased.
Kurt rolled his eyes. "I know, but she didn't want me to put her down to change her." he explained. "Usually she doesn't mind, but just now she was really upset."
Blaine looked at the little girl in his husband's arms. "Maybe she's just having a rough day?" he suggested.
Kurt shrugged his shoulders. "Maybe."
They continued feeding the babies, then strapped them into their carseats, which made them all upset, being confined. Yet, the only baby that didn't seem to mind, was Henry.
"You ok buddy?" Blaine cooed. "Are you ready to go pick out a pumpkin?"
"I bet he's wondering why is everyone making so much noise?" Kurt teased, making Blaine laugh.
"Come on. Let's get going." Blaine insisted, each grabbing two carseats and carried them out to the car.
Once in the car and headed to the pumpkin patch all of the babies started to fall asleep, except for Mackenzie. She started crying and screaming.
"Mackenzie, what's the matter?" cooed Kurt.
Blaine turned around in his seat, trying to place the pacifier in her mouth.
"I don't know why she's being so fussy today." Kurt said, as he continued to drive.
"Maybe she doesn't like being in her carseat." replied Blaine.
They arrived at the pumpkin patch and placed the babies in the stroller. But Mackenzie continued to cry.
"Why don't we try putting her in that carrier thing your mom gave us?" Kurt suggested.
"Where is it?" Blaine asked.
"I think its in the trunk somewhere." Kurt responded as he unbuckled the crying baby and held her close. "It's ok baby girl. Daddy's here." he cooed and kissed her gently on her head.
"Is this it?" Blaine asked, holding up the carrier with several straps attached to it.
"Yes, that's it. Can you please help me strap it on?" Kurt asked.
Blaine nodded, going behind his husband, placing the straps around his body.
"Ok, I think I got all of them." said Blaine proudly, standing in front of Kurt.
Kurt gently slid Mackenzie into the baby carrier where she instantly stopped crying.
"I think she likes it." Kurt commented.
"Well, let's get going." Blaine exclaimed, pushing the stroller towards the front with Amy following.
While looking through all of the pumpkins in the patch, people began staring. Since this was their first time actually taking the babies outside, other than going to doctor appointments, neither Kurt nor Blaine were used to this.
Kurt leaned over to Blaine and whispered in his ear. "Blaine, people are staring at us."
Blaine glanced around and noticed people were looking at him and his family. Some were trying to be discreet while others were taking pictures with their phones.
"Just ignore them." Blaine replied, shaking his head as they continued walking through the patch. "How's Mackenzie?"
Kurt looked down and noticed Mackenzie had fallen asleep against his chest. "She's sleeping. I think she just likes listening to my heartbeat."
Blaine smiled.
Blaine turned the stroller into an area where there were a lot of pumpkins.
"I think this is a good place for them to pick out pumpkins." Blaine declared.
"Ok, let's get them out and we can take pictures." Kurt agreed.
Blaine nodded as he and Amy unbuckled the five babies from the stroller and placed them in the hay around the pumpkins.
"Ok guys, go find your pumpkin." Blaine ushered.
All five babies didn't know exactly what to do. They looked around at the large orange things around them. Then they started to roll and push themselves in the hay picking out pumpkins.
"Blaine! Where's the camera? I want to take pictures of this!" Kurt called. Blaine dug in the diaper bag and handed Kurt the camera.
Devon was the first to find a pumpkin. He happened to find the largest one he could find and tried to lift himself up against it.
"Hey buddy, what did you find?" cooed Kurt, taking a picture. "Did you find your first pumpkin?"
Emma was the next baby to find a pumpkin. She was sitting against a smallish pumpkin. She looked over and started petting it.
"Aww, Emma." cooed Blaine. "That pumpkin is as small as you."
Cory and Henry happened to find the same pumpkin and began fighting over it, which made everyone laugh.
"Oh no, it looks like sibling rivalry already." teased Amy.
"Where's Elizabeth?" Kurt asked.
Blaine looked behind him was Elizabeth lying in the middle of several pumpkins. "I think she's trying to decide which one she likes best." he teased.
Kurt took plenty of pictures of all of his children trying to find the perfect pumpkin.
"What are we going to do about Mackenzie?" asked Blaine. "She needs to pick out a pumpkin."
"We'll just have to pick one out for her. I don't want to wake her up."
"Kurt, why don't I take a picture of the both of you with all of the babies around you? This will be a good memory of their first Halloween." Amy suggested.
"That's a great idea!" Kurt smiled, handing to camera over.
All three adults grabbed the five babies, placing them around various places of hay bales and pumpkins.
"Oh wait," Kurt halted, as he dug into the diaper bag. "We should put these on each of them." he insisted, holding six little pumpkin hats.
"Oh how cute." Blaine cooed as he and Kurt placed the hats on each of the babies and sat down, holding them close.
As soon as they sat down, all of the babies started crying.
"Oh no, it's ok." said Amy. "Look over here." she said, as she quickly grabbed a toy and squeezed it, to make them look her way.
"Hi babies." Amy said in a high voice. "Ok, on three say pumpkin pie. 1...2...3..."
"Pumpkin pie!" Kurt and Blaine said in unison.
Amy laughed as she looked in the camera and saw all of the babies were crying.
"I think we should grab the pumpkins and head home." said Blaine.
Kurt nodded, agreeing with his husband.
The kids were loaded into the stroller and the pumpkins into a wagon and went to pay. The kids were still crying and getting more upset.
"Blaine, do you want me to take the kids back to the car?" Amy suggested.
Blaine nodded. "Yes please, we'll pay and meet you back there."
Amy nodded, turning the stroller around and pushing it towards the car.
After Blaine and Kurt purchased their pumpkins, they headed to the car and drove home.
Well there you go. I hope you like the changes I have made and please continue to read this story. More to come. Thanks.
