"Well, I still don't get it!" Grady stuck a pencil in his mouth to concentrate on the board.

Nico rolled his eyes. "What's to get! All she did was draw a circle!... She hasn't even started yet!"

"Oh!" Grady's eyes lit up in understanding. "It's all coming together now!"

"Oy Vea!" Zora dropped her head into her folded arms in annoyance.

"Guys!" Tawni fussed not bothering to look up from her make up mirror. "Can we just get back to History!"

"It's Science!" Grady Fussed

"It's Math!" Sonny spouted.

"Ok, ok, Stop!" Mrs. Whatsman took a deep breath.

"You guys have all got to start focusing!"

Sonny cooly raised her hand "I am listening Mrs. Whatsman"

Tawni rolled her eyes "Oh hush miss goody two shoes." she closed her compact.

"I'm serious!" Mrs Whatsman insisted "If you don't pull yourselves together and pass this geometry test there will be severe punishment from the studio."

"Wait" Grady looked confused "I thought this was math!"

"Ok, ok" Sonny tried to be the peace maker. "Let's listen"

They all folded their hands and placed them nicely on her desk.

They gave her their nicest smiles.

"Ok let's try this again." She rolled her eyes. "This is a triangle!" She glared at Nico.

"Oh!" He nodded in understanding.

"To find the area of a triangle..."

Tawni yawned and placed her head down on her hands. She tried to pay attention but her sleepy state was getting to her. "Too much shopping!" She mumbled to herself. She lifted her head and rested her chin on her knuckles.

"That is pretty simple hugh?"

The class nodded. Tawni glanced away from the board and spotted a folded piece of paper lying under the desk in front of her. She raised her hand.

"Yes Tawni?"

"Yeah... I was just wondering, can you run that by me one more time?"

Mrs. Whatsman sighed "Ok..." She wearily turned back to the board

As soon as she was out of view, Tawni lifted the paper and unfolded it. Her eyes grew wide in shock as she read the content.

"Now do you see?" Mrs Whatsman shot back around

Tawni quickly jerked the paper under the desk "Yes!" She smiled "Thanks!"

Mrs. Whatsman smiled and turned back to her desk "Now let's go to History!"

Tawni seized the moment and slid the paper into the side pocket of her bag.

She glanced over to see Nico giving her a funny look.

She mouthed the words "I'll show you later"

He nodded and grabbed his history book.
