Welcome to the Thanks/Acknowledgements + Future Plans chapter. "I thought you wouldn't have this up until tomorrow?" I ended up having more time than I initially anticipated to have today, and this didn't take as long as I thought it would.

Let's just cut right into it:

The Dead Inside Package!

Do you like extra content? Behind the scenes notes? Embarrassingly old original drafts? I know I do! (Well, okay, embarrassingly old original drafts aside.) As a celebration for finishing Dead Inside, plus because I love it when other projects have this sort of thing, I am very proud to introduce the Dead Inside Package.

"What's the Dead Inside Package?" you ask? Well, it's 500+ pages (around 200 documents) of extra content, including: scrapped things, original drafts, scenes that are from the Initial Draft of Dead Inside, along with brainstorms and plotting. And more. A lot more.

Full details + download link can be found on my profile.

Future Plans

(updated Sept 2 2015 for the benefit of people who are reading Dead Inside well after it's been uploaded with proper details about what's ACTUALLY going on now)

"What are you going to do now that you've finished?" I'M GOING TO DISNEY WO—actually just kidding I'm just gonna keep on writing. (Though me and a friend maybe had plans to go to Disney World…? how I'm paying for it is a mystery though, and at this point, I think they've fallen through.)

Anyway!

- Book 5, aka, All that Remains!

This has been up for a long time now, and it's probably no secret, but I might as well not be misleading in this chapter! ATR starts just a few days after Dead Inside ends, and is the KH3 equivalent of the series, though outside of Xehanort being an issue, well, it's not at all like what canon KH3 will probably be. I'm really proud of what's been written of ATR, and what the future holds for it. Please enjoy it.

But first...

- the Nothing's Fair REWRITE

I said I'd do this, and I did! Considering it is also up and completely 100% finished, along with being the shorter of the two, you may want to consider reading this before you start ATR.

"Why did you rewrite Nothing's Fair?" Well, the original was only 9 chapters and also the source of my largest continuity errors (largely concerning the Rebellion) and I felt confident that I could do it a lot better, and that it wouldn't be a long project because it was initially so short to begin with. The length of the Truth Hurts and Falling to Pieces and, heck, even Dead Inside is the only reason I haven't seriously considered rewriting them as well.

.

- Did you miss it? A few scenes in the series were rewritten!

1) ch87 of Dead Inside—the Kairi and her dad conversation, rewritten to clear up some continuity errors. If you started Dead Inside after Sept 3 2014 (a year ago!) then the updated version is the version you read. Cool!

2) I actually wrote out the Riku vs Maleficent battle from Falling to Pieces, though I did not integrate it into Falling to Pieces itself. It can instead be read in ASAS ch73

3) ch15 of the Truth Hurts! Rewritten to touch a little more on Riku's fear of lightning/Larxene instead of pretending like that fear didn't exist at all. If you've read the Truth Hurts after Oct 18, 2014, then you've already read the updated version!

.

- What's on the agenda after All that Remains?

I'd mentioned in the past a book 6 I had ideas for, but, I'm probably never going to actually write it. All that Remains is planned to be the last installment of the series.

I do have plans for a prequel, though. I considered the possibility of, like in magik's universe, Rinoa showing up and dragging Leon off to help her deal with sorceress problems, and then considered her taking Zack and Aerith with her as well. Within minutes I'd determined that the events of FF8 featuring Zack and Aerith was too good of an idea to pass up. Expect to see it sometime after All that Remains finishes, if not sometime before then. ((The events of FF8 are the only events I'll be covering in this prequel.))

.

- Is that it?

Yup! That's it! There's an update log on the ftpverse blogspot (I'd put a URL here but I cannot, oh well, the link/url is on my profile) and it keeps track of what I'm currently writing, sometimes ft a short not-ftpverse fic. That will always be up-to-date, unlike this chapter of Dead Inside.

Thanks/Acknoweldgements

First off, thanks to The Infiniator, for giving me words of encouragement when I needed them most.

And thanks to Shadowclaw98 and lordibau for your kind reviews on chapter 231. That chapter, and Shad's arc as a whole, mean so so much to me and I'd fully expected to get hate for it. I'd made peace with getting hate for it, in fact, so it was a surprise when I got kind reviews on the chapter instead.

So… thank you. Just, thank you. I don't think I can adequately express how much this means to me without blabbering so I'll just leave it at that.

Thank you.

Also a vague thank you to the youtube series Stupid Mario Brothers by richalverez because it probably inspired me to do a lot of things I did with Shad.

.

Now for the big thank yous:

Flightfoot(Keyseeker): thanks for sticking with me from the beginning, even if you haven't kept up lately. Other readers better thank them, too—If it weren't for Flightfoot, I doubt I would've made it past the Truth Hurts.

Having a reviewer, a regular reviewer, invested and actively interested in my work was a push I needed not to drop it. Thank you. I have no idea where you are now, but I hope it's wonderful, because you deserve it.

KKBeckett: I'll thank you first for being a wonderful beta, and thank you second for the wonderful commentary. Your reviews were some of the ones I looked forward to seeing the most. And even though you stopped reviewing, I still have to thank you for being a wonderful, wonderful beta and for sticking with me for so, so long.

Thank you so much for that, and thank you so much for still wanting to stick around.

(You were also a huge supporter of Shad, and while he won't thank you for that, I will. That goes to the rest of you Shad supporters, too. Thanks.)

Cookie, perhaps better known as C00K53Y: for being a wonderful friend and brainstorm partner. Readers can thank him for quite a bit of Dead Inside—especially for Roxas's Rebirth (ch142-156).

I wish you great luck on your future, your projects, and your life in general.

(Nicole)Peach: You admittedly contributed little to the actual writing of Dead Inside, but I still thank you greatly and consider you a wonderful friend. Thanks for reviewing and sticking with me. I hope we stay in touch, though I don't see why we wouldn't.

.

And finally, a few things I'm grateful for:

All the wonderful people I've met because of Dead Inside and the series as a whole. All the wonderful reviews I've gotten. Long discussions with my readers about my plot and my characters and KH in general.

The experience of writing, purely just as an experience, but also as a learning experience. I've grown so much as writer and it's all been through Dead Inside.

The fact Dead Inside exists in general. I won't burden you with the full reason why Dead Inside means so much to me, but it truly does mean a lot to me. It's a pity its ending doesn't come as a relief, exactly, but I'm also glad it isn't bittersweet, either. Just because Dead Inside is finished doesn't mean FtPverse as a whole is, and doesn't mean I'm going to stop writing any time soon.

I'm really am so glad for all of this—you readers, and Dead Inside as a whole. There are parts I'd rather not remember, yeah, but there is so much about all of this that I'd never want to forget. Thank you for reading.
