Another good fic for you readers: ooza's Inside Man
Summary: With his parole fast approaching, inmate Edward Masen is looking for a friend. College student Bella Swan stumbles across his profile on a prison pen-pal website. Their friendship is formed over written words, but will it last once he rejoins her world?

I just finished reading it and am obsessed - I'm about to start ooza's AB Negative as well as If You Ever Hunger (so there might even be another review/rec coming your way soon).
What I loved about Inside Man is that it takes such an honest approach a real-life situation and projects the fears and issues onto characters we already know and love - and in doing so allows us to cut through all the crap (pardon my language) that surrounds and reinforces stereotypes and forces us to see people with "shady" pasts as... well, as people. It makes you question (or, in my case, justify) your views on second chances and growing up.
Without further ado, go check it out! Happy reading!
