(A/N: I do not own Divergent. Nor will I ever. I just own my ideas)
Hey guys,
I am sooooooo sorry that I have not updated or kept my promise about updating after my last Author's note but I finally got the chance to write. I go 3 chapters done now so I will see how the reviews go. I'll make you a deal. If I can hit 200 reviews by the end of the day, it is 7:00pm now, I will post the next chapter tomorrow morning. Deal? Deal.
Anyway…..So after asking my question about whether or not you guys want to hear what is going on at Dauntless or not, you have chosen that you do want to know so here it is.
Uriah's POV (when Tris leaves)
I see Tris as she is heading toward the exit of the compound and I call after her. She turns around and I stand right in front of her. "Hey sorry I didn't stop by earlier, I meant to but I've been dealing with Zeke all morning." I pull her into a hug and she returns it. I pull away from her and look down, "I'm going to miss you. Will I see you at all in the next month?" she shakes her and I sigh. I put my finger under her chin and pull her lips up to mine.
I pull away from her, "Call me?" I ask and she nods. I take her hands in mine and I feel something on her left hand that makes my heart skip and beat and break in half. "What is this Tris?" I ask, try to control my anger. "It's a wedding ring. Four and I have to pose as a married couple to comply with some of the other factions' rules. It means nothing to me." She says and I see her cringe at the words. "Whose idea was it?" I ask and she tells me it was Max's. I kiss her one more time before letting her go.
She turns around at the stares and I force a smile. Something is going on but I won't be able to find out until she gets back. I slowly walk back to the control room and get ready to start my day. I haven't been working all morning because I have been dealing with Zeke and his problems but I told him I would be back later.
I am sitting at my desk, going through security videos when I hear my door open. I look up and see Marlene standing at the door. "Hey Mar," I say before looking down at my work. "Hi Uri," she replies and I hear her walk toward me and I look up again. "Was there something you needed?" I ask, irritated. "I just wanted to see how Zeke was doing. I haven't seen him since the incident with Shauna." She says leaning against my desk.
"He is fine, I saw him this morning but I had to get back to work and had to say goodbye to Tris before she left." I say but then I wish I didn't. Marlene's eyes light up and that isn't good. "Tris isn't here?" she asks a little too enthusiastically. I shake my head and Marlene get up off the desk and sprint out the door, yelling goodbye as she goes.
That was odd. I get back to my work and I see a video that draws my attention. It's the video from this morning in the cafeteria. Although it isn't early, the only people in there are Max, Four, and Tris. I turn up the volume so I can hear the voices.
"Finally, I just wanted to give you two a constant reminder of where you both belong." Max says with a smile before going back into his bag. He pulls out two small items and places them on the table. They are the wedding rings that Tris and Four are wearing now. "Max what are these for?" Four asks. "These are your wedding rings. You will be posing as a married couple while on this trip. Due to some of the policies within the other factions, Abnegation for example, you are not to share a room unless you are married, therefore you are married." Max replies, pointing to the rings. Why would they need to share a room, those two have hated each other since they've met.
I shut the video off after that because I need to finish my work so I can get back to Zeke. He is currently being held in lockdown apartment on the first floor. They haven't decided what to do with him until there are people here who can speak for him or something happens to Shauna. She has been in a coma since last night and she hasn't gotten any better since then.
I know there is some missing information in the whole Shauna case also. Yes, I know she was beaten by Zeke when he was drunk but it seems like they are withholding other information.

I am walking down the hallway towards Max's office when I see him pop up in front of me when I turn the corner. "Hey Max, I was wondering if I could talk to you." I say and he nods and motions for me to follow him. I do so and he opens the door to office and walks in. I follow him and he tells me to take a seat.
"So Uriah, what do you need?" he asks, folding his hands under his chin. "I was wondering if you knew what you are going to do with Zeke. I know he is in a hell of a lot of trouble for doing this to Shauna but in his defense he didn't know what he was doing." I reply and Max turns to something look at something on his computer before responding."I know that he was unaware during the attack but that still doesn't give him the right to get away with what he did. Once we figure out Shauna's state, whether she is going to…um…survive or not, then we will determine what the consequences will be for him."
I shake my head, "Fine, thanks." I say and get up but right before I walk out of the door I remember something. "Max?" I ask and he looks up from his computer. "What kind of clearance would I need to be able to contact Tris while she is gone?" "Oh, um… I guess you don't really need that much. I can give you a time that you can call her later this week. Is that okay?" he asks and I nod.

Zeke's POV
Today is Wednesday and I am still sitting in my "cell" apartment because they don't know what to do with me yet. Shauna has been in a coma ever since Monday and they don't know if or when she will come out of it.
I hate myself for doing that to her. I was drunk and angry and upset. I may be the reason that the only girl I ever loved, dies. I can't imagine what I would do if she died. I would probably end up jumping off the chasm. She was the love of my life and even though she doesn't know who I am anymore, that doesn't mean that I don't still love her.
I hear the lock on my door being opened and a guard steps through. "You are requested at bedside of Shauna Kain." He says before turning around and motioning for me to follow him. I follow on his heels until we get through the infirmary and to Shauna's door. He opens it for me and I walk in. I hear it slam behind me and jump slightly before looking around the room. There are 4 people in this room. Lynn, Shauna, Shauna's "boyfriend", and me.
Lynn looks ready to rip my head off and I don't blame her. I would do it to myself if I could. "You requested me," I say and lean against the wall. Lynn stands up and walks toward me, "Yes, I did. Max should be here shortly." Right as she says that, the door opens and Max steps through. "Alright. I'm not going to waste any time and get right to the point." He says turning to me. "Zeke, you are a good friend of mine but I can't play favorites when it comes to punishment. Even though Shauna is still alive, your actions indirectly caused another death. Since we will no longer have a Factionless sector of this city after next month, I will have to discuss with my colleagues what to do with you." He says before walking out the door.
Well, maybe Four and Tris won't go too hard on me.

Uriah's POV
It has been about a week since Tris left and Max told me that I could call her this afternoon. I take out my laptop and enter the security password Max told me to type in. I search through the call list until I find Tris' username and I click on it. It rings a few times before it picks up.
"Hey babe, how are…" I start but then I realize it wasn't Tris who picked up. It was Four. "Oh, hey Four. Where's Tris?" I ask and he turns his head around before looking back at me. "She's actually asleep right now. She worked this morning and needed a nap. How were you able to get clearance to call her anyway?" he asks bitterly.
"I asked Max and he told me it was okay. Let her know I called." I say before exiting out.
The odd thing is, why would Four be answering Tris' computer when she was obviously asleep in her room. I feel anger grow inside me but I suppress it down because I don't know the full story.
-PAGE BREAK (sorry for so many)-
I toss and turn for the thirtieth time tonight but I still can't seem to sleep. I am just about to get up and eat something when I hear my computer beep. I go over to it and a screen opens, reveling my beautiful girlfriend's face.
"Tris! Hey, how are you?" I say with a huge smile. She smiles back, "I'm good Uriah. I couldn't sleep so I decided to call you. I'm sorry if I woke you up." I shake my head, "You didn't actually. I couldn't sleep either and I was getting up to get something to eat before you called." She laughs and then speaks again, "how are things at home?" I frown, "Zeke is actually waiting for a response from you and Four. Apparently since we no longer are going to have Factionless people, the leaders need to figure out what to do and that includes you and him."
She nods her head, "Okay, Max was supposed to call us tonight to discuss the trip but he may have changed it till tomorrow. I bring it up the next time I talk to him." "So, why did Four pick up your computer earlier? He said you were asleep and apparently you were right behind him because he turned around." I ask coldly. She bites her lips before answering, "Johanna and Four were in my room before I crashed so he must have caught it on his way out." She says with a small shrug. I want to ask more questions but I know just to leave it at that.
"So how is the trip going otherwise? I miss you." I say and stick out my lip and she laughs. "I know Uriah, I miss you too. It really is a good experience to be out here and learn about all the different factions," she says.
"I know but I miss you so much. I can't see you at all can I?" I say with a frown. "No, but I will be home in three weeks." She says with a smile.
"Okay, I'm going to go to bed Tris. It's 2:30 in the morning and I know you leave tomorrow for a different faction. I love you." I say with a huge smile. "Night, I love you too." She replies quickly before signing off."
She seemed very hesitant tonight. And I also remember Christina saying that whenever Tris lies, she bites her lip. Was she lying about why Four answered her computer?
I shake my head before heading back to my bed. I'm just being silly, why would she have anything to hide?
