(A/N: I do not own Divergent. Nor will I ever. I just own my ideas)

Hey guys,

Hope you enjoyed Tris and Tobias' trip to Amity. They sure did.

I did get a question about whether this story is rated T or M. This, for the most part is T. If there are any sexual references or uncalled for cursing, I will make note of it so that if there are younger readers, they will know of the non- T rated content.

That said, there is some cursing out of the norm this chapter so be prepared.

Also, I just realized that I said they were going to Candor second. I have updated that chapter to say they are going to Erudite second. Sorry for the confusion.

Tris POV

The ride is a little shorter than the one to Amity. We arrive at Erudite headquarters and Caleb is standing at the entrance. Tobias jumps out and offers his hand to me. I take it greatly and pull myself out. Caleb comes toward us and stops about a foot away from us.

"Four, Tris." He says and reaches out to shake our hands. Tobias takes it and shakes it and when Caleb turns to me, he takes my hand then pulls me into a hug. "I've missed you Beatrice." He whispers in my hair before pulling away. I smile at him sweetly.

"If you will follow me, I will show you your rooms." My ears perk up at the word rooms and I am about to say something but decide against it.

Caleb takes us down a street across from the headquarters and walks toward a tall rectangular building. When we arrive, Caleb goes up to what looks like a front desk and asks the person sitting there something. They nod their head and hand Caleb something. Caleb motions for us to follow him and we do. We get into the elevator and he hits the 10th floor button.

When the doors open, we step out and then Caleb leads us down the right hallway. We stop at a door about halfway down the hallway and he turns to us. "Tris," he says before putting a scanning the card in his hand and the door slides open. I step through and Tobias follows. We both set down our luggage and look around the room.

It's a lot smaller than the one in Amity but it is efficient. There is a small kitchen in the corner and what I think is a bathroom next to it. We walk further in and there is a large bed in the middle of an empty space.

Tobias sits down on the bed in the center of the room and bounces a couple times before smiling. "Don't get too comfortable Four. Your room is down the hall." Caleb says and Four and I turn to look at him. "What are you talking about?" Four asks and Caleb chuckles. "You didn't really expect me to let you stay in the same room as my sister, did you?"

Now it's Four's turn to laugh. I know what he is going to say and I send a glare toward him trying to keep him from saying what he is going to but he doesn't seem to get the message. "No, I didn't. But I did expect you to let me stay in the same room as my wife."

As soon as the words are out of Four's mouth, Caleb erupts in a fit. "WHAT THE FUCK BEATRICE? I JUST SAW YOU LIKE A WEEK OR TWO AGO AND NOW YOU ARE MARRIED! I THOUGHT THAT YOU WERE SMART ENOUGH TO NOT FUCK UP YOUR FUTURE BUT I GUESS I WAS WRONG!" he screams and I take a couple steps back. I can feel the tears start to run down my face.

"AND YOU," he turns to Tobias. "YOU ARE A COMPLETE AND UTTER DISCRACE. HOW THE HELL DID YOU TWO EVEN END UP TOGETHER? WHAT DID YOU GET HER PREGNANT AND YOU WERE FORCED TO MARRY HER?" his voice quiets down once he realizes what he said.

He looks from my stomach, to me, to Tobias and back again until I feel like I am going to get dizzy watching his eyes. I know he is trying to analyze us. That's what Erudites do. Finally, when he stop, he throws the other key he had in his hand down on the small table next to the door and storms out.

I turn and feel Tobias's shirt under my face. I wrap my arms around his torso and cry. How could my brother think that about me? He knows that I would never do something that stupid. Or does he?

Finally, after some time, the urge to cry leaves me and I pull away from Tobias. His shirt is soaked but I don't think he cares. "Tris," he says but I just turn away from him and lie down on the bed. I'm not in the mood to talk. Not even to Tobias.

I hear him let out a loud sigh and walk around the room. I hear him pull out something from one of our bags and set it on a table. I hear the clicking of a keyboard in the silence of the room. Finally, I hear it quiet down and a new sound breaks the barrier.

It is a loud ringing noise and it only seems to be getting louder until it abruptly stops. "Hello Four" I hear and I turn over. Tobias is sitting at the small kitchen table with his laptop in front of him.

"Hi Max, I'm surprised I didn't hear from you sooner. Did you say you were going to call us last night?" Tobias questions. "Yes, but I got caught up in a meeting so I didn't have time. Where's Tris, I want her here too." Max says and I take this as my que to get up. I make my way over to Tobias and stand behind him, wrapping my arms around his shoulders. He looks up at me and smiles.

"Ah, there is your blushing bride. How is the happy couple?" Max states enthusiastically and Tobias and I both laugh. "We are fine Max. Although Tris' brother did just flip out on us. I don't know how good of an idea it was for us to fake a marriage with Tris' over protective brother around. He probably wants to chop my head off considering he thinks Tris is pregnant and that's why we got married."

When Tobias finishes, Max looks like he is about to burst out laughing. He never seemed like the type to crack a smile but right now I am seeing a whole different side of Max. Finally, he lets his laughter out, making both Tobias and I jump. "He thinks… Tris is… pregnant…. And that's why…you're married?" he manages to get out through his fit.

"Yes Max, he does. It 's not funny though." I say sternly and that seems to break Max out of his fit immediately. "Oh, Tris. I'm sorry, I'm being insensitive but can you blame me. I'm Dauntless. Anyway, I wanted to see how your say in Amity was. I am hoping you got your reports done?" Tobias and I both nod and start to tell Max about the trip.

When we are finished, he seems pleased. "Very well then. I actually have one more thing I need to discuss with you two. Since you have been away, Shauna's condition has not changed so I was trying to figure out what to do with Zeke. Since we no longer have the Factionless option, I was wondering if you had any ideas." He says and I look at Tobias. I don't really want to have to punish Zeke for what he did since he is my friend but he hurt Shauna and I can't think about the idea of that happening to someone else.

I sigh before answering, "Max, do you mind if we decide what to do when we get back. I really want to talk to Zeke before I make a decision." Max nods, "That's fine, I figured you would say something like that. Anyway, I'm glad all is going well. If you could just email me your reports, I'll file them away. I will probably call you guys when you get to Candor so please don't expect a call till then. Enjoy your time in Erudite." He says with a wink before ending the video call.

"What was the wink all about?" I ask Tobias and he just shakes his head. "Tobias?" I ask again, getting the feeling he is hiding something from me. He sighs and brings up something on his computer before handing it to me.

I read through it and it looks similar to the letter Max left me on my computer expect for the marriage and love part. "He knows about us?" I ask Tobias while handing his computer back to him. "Yes, he knew and that's why he came up with the whole fake marriage thing. He knew that we would want to be together during the trip but there are rules about non-married couples living together in Amity and Abnegation so he thought it was the best solution." He says before getting up to put his computer away.

I start to pull mine out of my laptop case when I hear Tobias call from the bed. "Hey Tris, I'm going to take a nap for a little while. Wake me up if you need me." I yell out okay before turning my computer on.

I look through the set out folders until I find the Erudite one. There is a letter enclosed in the folder from Max.

Tris,

Hope you enjoyed your stay in Amity. The things you learned there will help you while sorting out the initiates for each faction. In this folder you will find a schedule of a typical Erudite member. You should review it and like similar to it for the next week. I expect you to learn a lot from this faction considering this was one of your aptitudes.

Please keep Four in line while you're at it. He may be calm when he wants to be but in the almost 3 years I've known him; I know he has quiet a hot head if you know what I mean. As for your brother, I expect you to treat him like all the other leaders you will be corresponding with during your trip.

Have a good time and I will call next week.

-Max

Once I'm done reading over Max's letter I click on the daily schedule for our time in Erudite. It is definitely a lot stricter than the schedule in Amity.

8:00 am- Wake up

8:30 am- Breakfast

9:00 am- report to lab

12:00 pm- lunch

1:00 pm- report to testing facility

6:00 pm- return home

7:00 pm- dinner

8:00 pm- reading/studying/research

10:00pm- Bed

I don't really like the idea of having my entire day laid out for me but I only have to deal with it for a week.

I finish going through the Erudite file before shutting my computer down and putting it away. I look at the clock and see it is 4pm. Well, might as well get a nap in before dinner. I move over to the bed and climb in next to Tobias. He is sound asleep so I lay on my side in front of him before dozing off.

-PAGE BREAK-

I wake up to an alarm sounding. I look around the room and the little panel on the wall says it is 7pm. I turn over and shake Tobias. "Come on Tobias. Time for dinner." I say softly in his ear. He groans and rolls over so he is facing me. "Trissy, why did you have to wake me up? I just want to sleep." He whines like a little baby.

"Oh give up the act and get up. It's time for dinner." I say before getting up and going to my bag. I grab out my brush and run it through my hair before throwing it up into a pony tail. When I turn around, Tobias is standing right behind me, smiling. "Ready?" he asks and I nod. We walk over to the door and I grab the card off the table before taking Tobias's hand and walking out of the room.

We make our way down in the elevator before stepping out and going into the lobby. "So where do you think the food is?" I ask with a hint of amusement. "Um… I am guessing it is where all the Erudite are going." He says sarcastically and I lightly punch him in the arm. "Hahaha." I say before following the Erudite.

When we enter the room I notice that everyone is staring at us. I lean back into Tobias, "Why are they staring at us?" I whisper and he looks around then back at us. "Maybe, it's the fact that we are still in Dauntless clothes." I look between Tobias and I and see that he is right. "Yeah… we are going to have to get some new clothes later." I say before walking toward the line of food.

We are both handed a tray of food and we don't question it. When we go to sit down, I look around and see an empty table at the corner. I motion for Tobias to follow me as I make my way over to the table. I eat slowly at first until I remember we have a meeting at 8pm. I nudge Tobias and he looks down at me. "We have a meeting at 8." He nods and goes back to his food.

When the Erudite start to get up, I take that as a que to leave. I stand up and start to walk to the trashcan. I throw out my stuff and Tobias throws his out after me. I take his hand in mine and start out of the cafeteria. When we are in the lobby I turn to Tobias. "Our meeting is in the headquarters. Do you want to grab anything before we head over?" I ask him and he shakes his head.

I shake my head and start out of the building. It is a quick walk over to the headquarters and Tobias opens the door for me when we get there. "Why thank you," I say in a funny accent and he laughs. When we enter the headquarters, I notice that the entire place make of clear glass.

Tobias leads me to the front desk. "Hello, we have a meeting with Caleb Prior." Tobias says but the lady does not look up. "Hello?" I say but she still doesn't move. I am getting annoyed so I slam my hand on the desk and she finally looks up. "Oh, Dauntless. We are expecting you. To the elevators, 8th floor, room 846." She says before turning her head back down.

I huff and start toward the elevators. I'm glad I didn't choose Erudite, the people here are so rude. When we get into the elevator, I slam the 8 button and lean back on against the wall. Tobias comes in front of me and puts my legs between his own. He takes my face in his hands and kisses me. I am a little taken back but I still kiss him back.

When he pulls away he smirks at me. "Better?" he asks and I nod. When we get up to the floor, we step out and I take a right. I don't know why, but I feel like I know where I am going without even thinking. We reach room 846 and I push the door open.

Inside, sits 7 Erudite, one who is Caleb. He glares at us when we walk in but doesn't say anything. "Ladies and Gentleman, this is Six and Four. 2 Dauntless initiate instructors. They are here to learn the Erudite ways and to get an understanding of the faction." Caleb says, addressing the group.

A mid-height blond woman steps up and walks toward us. "Welcome, my name is Cara. I am Will's sister." She says and I immediately see the resemblance. The blond hair, the green eyes and the facial features. They look very similar. "Hi Cara. Nice to meet you. Will is one of my best friends in Dauntless." She seems to be pleased at my comment.

She turns to Tobias and smiles. "Hi Cara. I was Will's instructor during initiation. He did very well." He says and she nods. "Please, come sit." She says and leads us over to 2 chairs. Tobias pulls mine out and I smile at him before taking a seat. He sits next to me and grabs my hand under the table.

"Awh, that was sweet." Cara says and I nod. "Yeah, I'm glad my husband knows how to be a gentleman." I say before I realize what came out of my mouth. Wow. Tobias was right. It does feel natural. Cara's eyes widen at what I said and I laugh to myself. "You two are married? Congratulations." She squeals and now I crack up. "Thank you." Tobias says and squeezes my hand.

"Anyway," Caleb interrupts, "Let's get started shall we?" he says and we all nod silently. "So, after a very long discussion with the initiate instructors, we have decided that you and Four will be going through a shortened version of the initiation. The research will not be required but the simulations will be. The goal of the simulations is to see if you can solve situations and problems in the most logical way." Caleb says and I look to Tobias, worry spreading across my face.

What if they find out my divergence, I could be… Oh wait, I can't be. Divergents are now accepted in this society. I am safe. I take a breath and Tobias whispers into my ear, "You okay, love?" I smile at the nickname and nod. We both turn back to Caleb and he looks like he is about to rip Tobias's head off. I glare at him and he seems to get the message.

"Okay, so Six and Four will begin simulations tomorrow. Each day, at 9am, you will report to the simulation room which is located on the 6th floor of this building. You will spend however long you need to in the simulation until you get out of it and then you will be free to observe research for the rest of the morning until lunch. After lunch, instead of reporting to the testing facility, you will report to the research labs. There are ones specifically set up for you that will be for your own use throughout the week. You may conduct experiments and do research as you please but I must have catalogs of everything you do therefore I can properly see you are doing your work."

I know exactly what he means to, he just wants to keep an eye on Tobias and I. "Thank you for your time. That will be all. Six, Four, please stay a minute." Caleb calls out and the other Erudite leave the room quickly.

Caleb is staring out the large window at the back of the room when he speaks. "I don't want any funny business. I don't like the fact that you are together and I sure as hell don't like the fact that you are married but there is nothing I can do about it. There will be clothes for both of you as well as entrance tags in your room when you get back." He says without turning to us and I take that as a que to leave.

I take Tobias's hand in mine and head out of the room. As we walk down the hallway down to the elevator, Tobias speaks up. "He really hates me, doesn't he?" he says and I shrug. "I don't think he hates you as much as the fact that we are married." I say putting air quotes around married. He smiles at me and wraps his arm around my waist.

When we get out of the headquarters, we head back to the apartment building. The lobby is deserted and I find it odd until I remember that it is "quiet time" here. The elevator comes quick and we hop on. It only takes a few moments for the elevator to get to our floor and we step out when it stops.

As we walk to our room, I can't seem to notice that Tobias has this funny smile on his face. "What are you smiling about?" I ask right before we turn for our hallway. I don't get an answer because as soon as we turn the corner, Tobias picks me up and starts to run down the hallway. "Tobias!" I laugh and try to squirm out of his grasp but he won't allow it.

When we arrive at the room, I feel the key being taken out of my pocket and being slid into the door. Tobias carries me over the threshold and walks in, laying me down on the bed gently. He takes his shoes off, then lies down on the bed beside me. I turn and curl up into his side. "I could get used to this," he says and I nod against his side.

We lay in silence for a while before he breaks it. "Would you marry me? Someday?" I sit up and look at him. He sits up as well and scratches the back of his head. Something he does when he is nervous. Instead of answering him, I kiss him full force. He kisses back immediately and it turns into a full make out session.

By the time I pull away, I am out of breath and am seeing stars due to lack of oxygen. "Wow," Tobias says and I smirk at him. "You like that?" I ask patting his hair down that is sticking out in all different places.

We sit for a few minutes and I think of the question he asked me. Would I marry him someday? Yes, I would marry him. "Yes," I say and he looks at me confused. "Yes, I would marry you someday." I explain and a smile spreads across his face.

He leans down and kisses me again but I refrain from deepening it now matter how much I want to. I am tired again and need sleep. "Tobias, no matter how much I want to do this, I am really tired. Could we just go to bed?" I ask and he groans. "But Trisssy," he whines but I shake my head. "Sorry Toby," I say before walking into the bathroom with my clothes in tow.

When I come out of the bathroom, Tobias is lying on the bed staring at the ceiling. I slowly slip into bed and look up. "So, anything interesting?" I ask and he jumps up off the bed. I start cracking up and he looks down at me and glares. "God, Tris. You just gave me a freaking heart attack." I finally calm down enough to speak and I look to him. "Oh come on baby. I didn't scare you that much."

He gets up and comes over to me before wrapping his arms around my waist. "Baby? Really?" he asks and I shake my head. "Not good?" I ask and he shrugs his shoulders. "It isn't bad, love." He says and I smile. I like the nicknames.

I lay my head on his chest and he squeezes me into his body. "We should go to bed." I say and he nods. I pull myself away from him and get into my side of the bed. He moves in next to me and pulls me into his chest. "You know, I really enjoy this position. Because I can do this," he says before leaning down and kissing me full. I respond immediately and the kiss deepens.

I pull him onto of me and he doesn't reject. I run out of breath right as he starts to move down my neck. I accidentally let out a small moan and I feel my face turn red. He moves his away from my body and smirks at me. "I love the sounds you make." He says and I turn away. He moves himself from off top of me and turns on his side. I snuggle into his chest and he gently takes me in his arms.

"Goodnight Trissy, I love you." he whispers into my ear.

"Goodnight Toby, I love you too." I reply before drifting off to sleep.

-PAGE BREAK-

I wake up to a very cold bed. I look around and see Tobias isn't in here. "Toby?" I ask and I get no answer. I quickly get out of bed and move toward the door. I am grabbing my sweatshirt when I hear yelling from outside. I go over and put my ear to the door.

"You married to my sister for god sake, I am aloud to be pissed." I hear a voice yell. Caleb. "I am in love with her. When two people are in love, they get married. Simple as that!" the second voice yells. Tobias. "But not when she is 16 years old!" Caleb yells again.

This needs to stop! I swing open the door and they are both standing in front of the door. Tobias is the first to realize I'm there. "Oh, hey Tris," he says, scratching the back of his neck. I cross my arms and lean against the door frame. "What are you two doing?" I ask and they both look away. I huff out a breath before taking them both by the arms and pulling them into the room.

Once we are all inside the room, I slam the door and turn to them. "Explain. Now!" I say sternly and they both look between each other. Caleb is the first to talk, "Listen Tris, I don't want you married to him. You need to break it off. "I shake my head and look to Tobias for help. "Caleb, stop. We are together and you just have to deal with it. Why didn't you have such a problem with Uriah and such a problem with me?" Tobias says to Caleb.

And that is another reason why I love him. He manages to turn things around with one sentence. Caleb shakes his head, "I liked Uriah. He seemed good for Tris and his company was enjoyable. You on the other hand really need to get your head out of your ass. Since you are part of the family now you need to spill." Caleb says and I ready myself for a big argument.

"Listen Erudite, just because I am part of the family does not mean you need to know my entire life." Tobias spits at Caleb. Caleb scoffs and rolls his eyes, "Yes, it does. I don't fucking trust you with my sister's life. I don't even know your original faction." I shake my head and walk over to the bed. I sit down and Tobias follows.

He tries to take my hand but I pull away and look away from him. I know I shouldn't be rejecting him like this but I can't deal with the fight between Caleb and him. I turn back to face him and he looks hurt. "Sort this argument out and then I will be happy." I say and he sighs.

"Fine, just for you Tris," he says and turns to Caleb, "I am from Abnegation. I moved to Dauntless 2 years ago. I was Tris' initiate instructor and as you know we are married." Something must click in Caleb's head because his eyes widen. "You are married to Marcus Eaton's son?" he says to me and I nod my head.

This causes him to explode again, "WHAT?! MARCUS EATON A HORRIBLE PERSON. WHEN I WAS DOING MY RESEARCH I FOUND OUT THAT HE REALLY DID BEAT HIS SON. THE APPLE DOESN'T REALLY FALL FAR FROM THE TREE. DOES HE BEAT YOU TRIS? You can tell me." I get up and place my hand on Caleb's shoulder. "Listen to me Caleb. Four has never laid a hand on me. He loves me and I love him. There is no way he could ever hurt me. Can't you just accept that?" he turns away for a moment before turning back to me.

"Fine, but I am not happy. He is so much older than you and you are my sister so I am obviously protective of you." He says before kissing me on the forehead and walking out. I stand there frozen for a bit before shaking out of my thoughts.

I walk over to Tobias and kiss him flat on the mouth. He responds immediately and for that I am grateful. At least he won't be mad at me because I rejected him earlier. He pulls me on top of him and I straddle his waist. His eyes widen and I give him a questioning look. "Um… Tris… you are kind of in a compromising seat right now. If you could move up a little, we won't have a problem." Tobias says, his face turning bright red.

I don't understand what is saying until I look down and realize I am straddling his groin. I move up towards his stomach slightly and he lets out a sigh of relief. "Better?" I ask, sarcastically and he nods fast. I laugh before leaning down and capturing his lips with mine. We move in sync, his hands on my waist and mine are tangled in his hair. I eventually run out of breath and turn away from Tobias who takes the signal and lies down beside me.

"Can we go back to sleep for a little while?" I ask Tobias before looking at the clock. He looks over too, and nods. I turn over so that my back is pressed against his front and curl up. His arm goes around my waist and we fall asleep like that.

-PAGE BREAK-

I wake up to a loud beeping noise. I feel around, expecting it to be an alarm but it won't shut off. I sit up and look around but I can't seem to find the shut off button. I get out of the bed and the alarm immediately shuts off. I look back and see the bed is empty.

"Tobias?" I call out and I see his head pop out from behind the bathroom door. "What's the matter Tris?" I shake my head and wave him off. He just shrugs and closes the door again. I walk over to the kitchen and notice two packages lying on the table. When did those arrive?

I go over to the smaller one and look at the tag.

Tris,

Here is your clothes and entrance tags for Erudite. I hope they fit.

-Caleb

I look at the other package and see the same thing written on it with Tobias's name. I open up the box and find the tag right on the top. Below it is clothes of all different color blues. I grab the first thing and notice it is a blue, knee length dress. I shrug and take it over to the bathroom.

The door opens before I knock and Tobias steps out in a towel. "Hey, where are the clothes?" he asks and I point toward the kitchen. He starts to walk over but yells out, "I'm not done in there." I smirk to myself and go into the bathroom and shut the door. I turn on the shower water and undress before stepping in.

As I am shampooing my hair, I head the bathroom door open. "Tobias, leave me alone." I call out but I hear no reply. I rinse out my hair and look out the curtain but there is no one in here and the door is closed. I must have heard something.

I finish up in the shower and get changed. As I am walking out of the bathroom, I don't hear any movement in the room. "Tobias?" I walk around the bed but he isn't anywhere in there. I move over to the kitchen and it isn't Tobias sitting on the counter. It's Peter.

"Peter…. Wh… wh…what are you doing here?" I keep walking back until I run into the table. I reach around behind me; searching for something to throw at him but I find nothing. "Where is Four?"I ask, trying to steady my voice. "Oh… he just went for a walk. He should be back soon." Peter says maliciously. "You're lying. Where is Four?"

He takes a couple steps closer to me until he is right in front of me. "You listen to me you little bitch. I needed to get your lovely boyfriend out of the way so I could get to you. You are going to go on a little trip with me, and don't plan on coming back." He reaches out to grab my arm but I am ready and I grab it before twisting it behind his back. I use my left knee and take out his knees and he falls to the ground. I flip him over and hold his arms above his head.

"No, I am going to ask you again Peter. Where is Four?" He just laughs. I am angry and am not in the mood to put up with his shit so I stand up and kick him and the back of the head which knocks him out. I then look around and try to figure out a way to contact Four. I wipe my forehead with the back of my hand and I see the bracelet Max gave me.

I hit the larger of the two buttons and talk into the bracelet, "Four, can you hear me?" I wait a minute until an answer comes through. "Yes Tris, I can hear you. I'll be right there." He says and I breathe a sigh of relief. A minute later, Tobias comes walking through the door but stops when he sees Peter on the ground.

"What is he doing here?" he asks, his voice deathly low. "He came up here and attacked me. But, I got him on the ground before he had the chance." When I finish talking, Tobias slams his fist into the table next to him, causing me to jump. "I should have never fell for it. This is my fault; if I hadn't gone downstairs then he wouldn't have been in here." I shake my head, "What are you talking about Tobias?" He steps over Peter's limp body and stands in front of me. "I got a call from the people on the first floor saying Max was here to see me so I went down but it must have been Peter." he says looking over his shoulder. "We should probably call Max and have him do something with this thing." I nod and head over to my computer.

I search around a little bit before I find the button that allows me to call Max. When I do find it, I call him and a second later, his face pops up on the screen. "Hi Tris, how are you?" he says. "I'm not too good Max. We have some trash that we need to dispose of." I say and turn the screen so that he can see Peter. Max shakes his head, "Damn it Peter. You can never stay out of trouble. I'm sorry Tris, I'll have some of the Dauntless guards come and get him immediately. We will decide what will happen to him when you get back. Talk to you later." He says before hanging up.

"What did he say?" Tobias asks me when I put the computer away. "He said we will figure out what to do with him when we get back and that some Dauntless guards will be up to get him soon." I say before falling into his chest. We stand there, linked together until I hear a knock at the door. Another surprise is waiting behind the door. Uriah.

"Uri, what are you doing here?" I ask, trying to be excited. "Tris!" he says and picks me up and kisses me. I force myself to kiss back but it hurts so much to be kissing Uriah right in front of Tobias. Uriah finally releases me and I take a step back from him. I look behind me at Tobias and he looks like he is about to kill Uriah. I turn back to Uriah and he is frowning.

"What are you doing here?" Uriah asks Tobias and he shakes his head. "I am here because Tris called me when Peter attacked her. What are you doing here is the better question?" Tobias spits back. "I am on guard duty today because the guy who normally would be in Erudite is sick. I was sent here to pick up a trouble causing Dauntless but no one told me it was you they were bothering. Are you okay Tris?" he asks placing his hand on my arm.

"Yes Uriah, I am fine. Can you please just take Peter away, Four and I have work to do." I ask and he nods. He kisses me one more time before walking past me and picking up Peter and throwing him over his shoulder. He walks back past me and says goodbye before disappearing from my eyesight.

As soon as I shut the door I am being spun around and lips are being pressed against mine. I am glad that they are Tobias's this time and I don't have to force myself to kiss back. When I run out of breath I push Tobias back lightly and look at him. "I am yours," I state firmly and he smiles. "Good."

-PAGE BREAK-

Tobias and I are currently sitting next to each other outside of the testing room starring at the wall in front of us. A woman with a white lab coat comes out of the door at the end of the hallway and I recognize her as Cara. "Six," she calls and I stand up and walk toward the door. She shuts is behind me and I step into the chair sitting in the middle of the room. "Please call me Tris." I say and she smiles.

"Are you ready Tris?" she asks and I nod although I am not so sure. She moves my hair and injects a serum into my neck and I wait for it to take effect. Once minute I am in the testing room and the next I am in a lab with a bunch of test tubes in front of me. "These test tubes will explode in 5 minutes. Mix them in the correct order to make a nonreactive substance. Go!" The voice says and I look down at the tubes.

They are all labeled with different names that I can barely pronounce. I am starring at the labels for almost two minutes when something clicks in my head. My hands start to move without instruction and I am mixing different vials. When I am done I wake up in the testing room and Cara is staring at me. "What?" I ask and she shakes her head. "The rest of the initiate instructors and I believed that you wouldn't be able to solve any of these simulations because you are Dauntless but you solved that one faster than anyone I have ever tested. Are you Divergent?" she asks and I nod. I'm glad I don't have to hide my divergence anymore.

"Well, you are done. Please send Four in." she says and I nod before leaving the room. "You're up Four." I say before sitting beside him. He gets up and goes in the door which slams behind him.

Tobias comes out about 10 minutes later with a pleased smile on his face. "What are you smiling about?" I ask and he shakes his head. "Were you able to solve that simulation?" he asks and now I know why he is smiling about. "You solved it didn't you?" I ask and he nods. "Let's go to the lab. Caleb isn't expecting us to be in the lab till after lunch so we don't have to "catalog" anything." I say with a smirk and start walking toward the elevator, swaying my hips.

I hear Tobias follow quickly behind me so I decide to play a joke on him and turn around as soon as I get to the elevator. I expected him to not be paying attention and run into me and that I exactly what he does. I push him off of me and he falls to the floor. He looks at me with puppy dog eyes and I start cracking up. "Trissssy, why did you do that?" he complains while getting up. I stop laughing as soon as he calls me Trissy.

I get real close to him and make it seem like I am going to kiss him but at the last second, I turn my head and whisper in his ear, "Don't ever call me Trissy again or you will be sleeping in the Chasm. Got it?" I pull my head back and he nods slightly. I laugh again and hit the elevator door button. It slides open and I pull Tobias inside.

I hit the floor that is indicated on my key card that is hanging around my next and lean back against the wall. Tobias moves so that he is standing in front of me and takes my hands in his. "I love you." He says with a smile. "I love you too," I peck him on the lips before stepping out of the elevator, dragging Tobias with me.

The rest of the day was uneventful. After the simulations, Tobias and I went to the lab and just messed around with all the equipment. After lunch we went back and actually started to do stuff. I make some purple colored liquid that smelled like flowers and Tobias made something blow up. It was absolutely hilarious because it blew up right in his face and he had looked like a mad scientist when he turned to look at me.

I am currently lying in bed, twirling the fake wedding ring on my finger. We decided that after working in the lab that we would just come up and relax for the rest of the night. I hear the bathroom door open and Tobias steps out with just a towel around his hips. He shakes his hair out like a dog and walks over to his suitcase and takes out a pair of grey sweatpants before slipping back into the bathroom.

He comes out moments later in the sweatpants and no shirt. I can help but ogle at his defined chest and abs. He comes over and lies down on the bed, facing me. I turn so that I am on my side and look at him. He moves his hand up to my cheek and brings my lips to his. The kiss is slow and passionate and full of love. He pulls me on top of him and we continue to kiss. He begins a trail of wet kisses from my lips to my collarbone which causes me to moan.

I don't know what prompts me to do the next action but I use all my strength and flips us so that he is on top. Normally, I wouldn't enjoy this but for some reason I am now. I let my hands wander aimlessly up and down his back which causes him to shiver. He suddenly moves his hands down to the hem of my shirt and I don't stop him when he begins to pull it up. He pulls it off, leaving me in my bra before placing light kisses across my stomach and hips. I moan and I feel him chuckle against my skin.

He begins to move back up my body until coming in contact with my lips again. He places one chaste kiss on them before rolling over and letting out a heavy breath. I turn and give him a confused look. "We're not ready yet Tris and you know it." He says and I know he is right. I probably would have stopped him soon. I look around for my shirt and see it but before I am able to grab it, Tobias grabs my wrist.

"Please," is all he says and I know what he means. I stop reaching and snuggle into his chest.

"I love you," I say against his bare chest and he shivers.

"I love you too." I reply before drifting off.
