Summary; After 20 years disappear from the world without a trace, Erik Reptile or 'Cobra' returned to seek revenge for those who killed his family. Being a top-class killer and a sharpshooter, none of his prey can escape but when it came to a certain blonde, he miss his shot for the first time.

"Who did this to you, BroNatsu?"
"Even I don't know who it is. They came wrecking down dad's building, destroying everything that my dad made and killed him. Whoever the guy is, I swear I'll kill him for sure"
"I might know someone who's good in finding someone"
"Who?"
"Sorano. She's my girlfriend's sister, Yukino. She worked as a police officer and I bet she will track down that man who beat you up"
"Thanks, Sting. Anything for you, bro!"
Sting drove his car to Fiore Police Department with Natsu who was sitting beside him on the seat. He was roughly injured and was slowly recovering from it. As for right now, he was trying to remember the faces of both of the attackers. He still didn't get quite the perfect image but still at least he got one or two traits about the attackers will surely ease the sketcher to identify them.
"So, BroNatsu, any clue about the attackers? Hair colour, skin tone, accessories, or anything?"
"I'm getting there! Why can't I remember their faces. It's so freaking hard!" Natsu shouted from inside the car.
"BroNatsu, take a deep breath, you will remember it eventually"
Natsu just sighed as in he was giving up on pressing his mind to remember. But something did appeared inside his head, a woman with blonde hair. Suddenly, he snapped. He can't remember the attacker, but he did remembered Lucy and he bet that Lucy might remember the attacker's faces.
"Sting, do you know a girl name Lucy, who is the same age as us?" Natsu asked Sting.
"A girl name Lucy. I know one but she's the daughter of Jude Heartfilia. Why you asked?"
Natau tries to remember Lucy again. The daughter of Jude Heartfilia, Igneel's rival. Her face was dirty and her clothes were torn apart. Natsu shook his head, he hardly can believe that the Lucy he met was a daughter of the Heartfilia Company.
"I don't think they are the same person, though" Natsu said and he leaned back on his seat, releasing the stress from over thinking.
"If you need anything, just ask"
Sting and Natsu finally arrived at the Fiore Police Department. Getting out from the car, Sting's phone rang. He quickly took out his phone from his pocket and looked at the caller on his phone. It was Yukino.
"Hey, babe! What's wrong?"
"Hey, sorry for calling if you're busy"
"It's okay, why you called me?"
"It's about your meeting with the Head Executive of Bay Street Pictures, it will starting soon but it's okay if you don't have the time for it. But I don't think Mr. Weisslogia will agree if you making excuses again today. I'm sorry but if you have some other important things to do..."
"It's okay, Yukino. I will go to the meeting. And besides, I don't want my dad to scold at you for my false errands. I will be heading there now but I had to do something first"
"Alright, Sting. Oh and one thing Sting, come over to my house today, my sister said she will be making dinner and she wanted me to invite you"
"Oh, she's not working today"
"Nope, she said she had a break today because she had a backache"
"Okay, babe. See you tonight, then"
"Sure!"
"Hey, BroNatsu, my girlfriend's sister is not working today and since you can't remember the attacker's faces, I think I will sent you home..." Sting looked at Natsu and he was sleeping heavily while drooling over the seat. "Home, then and then washed this car and go to Yukino's" Sting fastened his seat belt and drove his car out from the police department.
Seaweed Ramen Stall
"Do you like yours?" Cobra asked Romeo about the ramen that he ordered.
"YEAH! I love it so much. How do you know that I like this ramen so much?"
"I don't know, instinct I guess" Cobra said and enjoyed the hot ramen together with Romeo by his side, happily. Romeo on the order side, was staring at Cobra for a while and enjoyed his meal back. He was thinking whether or not he should stay with him or escaping from him when he will get a chance. Surely, he won't be harmed by him if he did stay but by running away from him, he might have a chance to not involve with this serial killing mission of him. But can he survive out there knowing that his father was killed and he have no money or allowance, nor family or relative that he knows. Cobra might be the only that he can rely on right now.
Lozenge Square
After finishing their meals, both Romeo and Cobra headed to the mall. Due to Cobra's unexpected invitation, Romeo didn't have any spare of clothes so Cobra bought some clothes for him to wear for at least a week or less. They also went to have fun at the indoor theme park in the mall. They rode the roller coasters, the tea cup, the Ferris wheel, and also watched the circus show. But only Romeo did have fun while Romeo had seven or eight barfs and two to three bathroom breaks along the ride. After that, they went to the water theme park. They enjoyed their moment together fully. While they were having fun there, Romeo spotted someone who was staring at them or maybe only Cobra.
"Sir Cobra, I realised that someone is staring at you now"
"Nah, I won't mind it. It might be someone who is fascinated with my hot body" Cobra shrugged it off. Romeo raised his shoulders and looked back at the stalker. They were no longer there.
'I wonder who's the person?'
Back at the hotel, Romeo put all of the shopping bags on the desk while Romeo took off his shirt and turned on the television. He sat down on the back and relaxed his head with a comfy pillow. Meanwhile, Romeo went to the bathroom and took a bath. While Romeo was taking a bath, Cobra was asking himself on why did he treated Romeo so nicely all of a sudden. Treating his with some clothes, food and even having fun with him. Isn't he the ruthless man that murdered people for of vengeance but why did he had so much fun right now? Why the change all of a sudden? Even he didn't know about it. Lying back on the bed, Cobra tried to remember the event that happened this morning. Why did Angel attacked the building company with a large attack that could be seen by many pedestrians? Aren't their rule was to target and kill without leaving any traces. And also, the blonde girl named Lucy did saw his face and was he trying to save her?
This just get weird all of a sudden. Why did he had this many feelings right now? Isn't he the man that was called Mr. No Feeling. Back home, he was the most silent person and even he counted that he talked 10 or less words a day. Cobra started scratching his head. He was confused with the sudden change and didn't even realize that Romeo was looking at him.
"Sir, you're okay? Are you tired? Want me to make a coffee or order anything?"
"You don't have too" Cobra shook his head while looking through the window. Suddenly, he imagined Lucy was looking at him. "Hey, Romeo, could you do me a favour?"
"Sure, what do you want?"
"Could you search Lucy's phone number, I want to send her a message. Can you do that?"
"That's easy" Romeo said as he wear a pair of pajamas and went to do as Cobra asked to.
Cobra smiled and was happy for no reason. He continued to watch the television but paid no attention on the screen.
Heartfilia Resident
Lucy woke up from her deep sleep. She looked through the window and realised that it was midnight. She looked at her alarm clock and it was 12:00 p.m. She laid down on her bed again. She shut her eyes and was trying to sleep again. But to her dismay, she can't go back to sleep. She tried to move her body to the right and to the left. But seriously, she can't go back to sleep. Giving up on trying to sleep again, Lucy stood up and wore a pair of slippers and a robe that was hung on the rack. She went outside from her room and straight to the kitchen. She stepped slowly and quietly in front of her parent's room before she headed down the stairs.
Arriving at the kitchen, she opened the refrigerator and took a carton of milk. She grabbed a glass from the top cabinet and poured the milk in it. She stored back the carton of milk inside the refrigerator and went to the dining table. She sat on a chair and took a sip of the milk. She took out her phone from the robe she was wearing and looked at the screen. She had two unread messages. One of the messages was from Levy and one of the messages was from an unknown numbers. She slid the phone screen and read Levy's message.
'Hey, Lucy-chan! Let's go to the mall by the end of this week. I asked Juvia-san to tag along as well. It'd been really long that we didn't hang out since we graduated from college. Also, I have a great surprise for you! Love, Levy'
Lucy smiled while reading the message. She nodded her head with the feeling of joy. After graduated from college, she also realised that she also didn't have the time to have fun.
'Sure, Levy. I can't wait to hang out with you and Juvia. Also, I'm so hyped about the surprise' Lucy texted in the message and after a few seconds, the message was sent to Levy.
She put her phone on the table and drank her milk. She took out a deep breath and exhaled it. She took the glass and washed it at the sink. She took her phone and headed back to her room. On the way, she stopped at Michelle's room. She opened the door and took a look at the inside of the room. Michelle was not there. She closed the door and thought for a while. Where is Michelle? Maybe she still have worked and stayed at her house.
After closing the door, she went to her room and took out her phone. She realised that she didn't even take a look at one unread message from an unknown number.
'Are you fine?'
"Huh?"
Lucy thought for a while. Are you fine? What does the sender mean? Lucy stared at the message and the number for a long time. She truly believed that she didn't recognised number. So, who is this person? Maybe, someone carelessly sent the message to her and it was for someone else.
'I'm fine, but who is this?' Lucy texted. Then, she erased the message. She turned off the phone and tossed it on the bed. She laid down on the bed and tried to close her eyes. Without she realised, she already fall in a deep sleep.
Agria Resident Basement
Sting opened both of his eye and what he saw was...pitch black. It was totally dark with no single of ray of lights. He tried to move his body. He can't move. He struggled to move his body but he can't as in his hands were tied with a rope or a wire. With much more energy, he tried to move his hand and leg but still it was effortless. He breathed in and breathed out repeatedly. As he was trying to find a solution, he heard a tapping sound numerously. With his pair of ears, he tried to find the source of the sound. He realised that it was coming from the steps on a staircase.
"Who is there?" He shouted.
He wasn't scare to shout because how the hell did he get here? After Sting shouted, no one shouted back or said anything. The tapping sounds echoed once again.
"Who is there? Come on here and release me"
"I'm sorry but I will not do as what you said" The voice echoed back to Sting.
Sting was shocked to hear the voice but none the less, he was even shocked to hear the owner of the voice. He couldn't believe it. But thinking again, he was not mistaken. It was her voice that she just heard. Sting took a deep breath and exhaled it. He was not mistaken but he will not believe it. So, he decided to make the person spoke to him.
"I said release me!" Sting shouted for the third time.
"I'm sorry but it is still a no" The person spoke to Sting.
This time he was not mistaken. The voice he just heard. The voice that he just heard with his pair of ears. This time he truly heard it. He was not mistaken and he truly believed that it is her voice.
"Yukino, is that you?" Sting asked the person who was now standing in front of him.
Yukino nodded. She looked at Sting who was tied to a chair. His hands and legs was tied with a rope tightly while his eyes was sealed by a thick and black cloth. He was shirtless with only a pair of pants for a clothes. Sting raised up his head. Even if he couldn't see and used his eyes, but deep down in his heart, he knew that Yukino was standing in front of him. He could feel that she was shivering and was crying. He knew that some of her tears were wetting her face and dropped on the ground. There is only one question that he wanted to know from her, only from her, from her mouth and importantly from her own pure heart.
"Why?" Sting asked Yukino. At this moment, both of them couldn't accept the fact. In Yukino's side, she couldn't believe that she had to lie to Sting and tied him while in Sting's side, he couldn't believe that Yukino lied to him about coming here and have him tied down to a chair and was crying on the fact she did that.
"Because I hated you!" Four words came out from Yukino's mouth. Because of a feeling called hate or hatred, Sting was helplessly abducted. But he couldn't believe it and he forced his mind to not believe it. It was false and he believed that Yukino was bluffing. If she really did hate him, then why was she crying. The fact that she was crying made Sting believed that it's only one big act.
"You're kidding me. You're kidding me, right?" Sting said but this time, he didn't quite feel that Yukino was shivering or crying but this time, he felt that Yukino wasn't there. She wasn't standing in front of him. A person from behind him unfolded the cloth that was closing his eyesight. Sting opened his eyes and saw that he was in a laboratory. He was in a room with a white wall, white ceiling and a white floor. In front of him was a window that separated him from the next room.
In that room, he saw some white suited man was making an observation on him. A white suited man was jotting something on a piece of paper in his hand. He tried to look at his surrounding and saw two beeping lights on each side of him. The light beeped numerous times before it stopped beeping.
He noticed a person was standing in front of him. Yukino! No, a hologram of Yukino equipped with her own voice and visual appearance. He couldn't believe it. The Yukino he felt was merely an illusion that tricked his mind. The tapping sound, the shivering and crying Yukino were only illusions that tricked him.
"Where the hell am I?" Sting shouted but none of the men paid attention to him.
At that moment, the moment after he was able to see, a strange cloud appeared out of nowhere in the room. The thick cloud blinded Sting, disabling his sight. To his dismay, he was knocked out.
A couple of hours before
Sting parked his car near Yukino's house. He locked the car and walked to Yukino's house. In front of the house, he knocked the door and rang the bell. Sting was waiting anxiously in front of the door. He was holding a bouquet of red roses and was smiling happily. A few seconds later, a person opened the door. It was Sorano, Yukino's elder and one and only sister.
"Oh, it's you! Come in" Sorano said to Sting. She opened the door and let the blonde hair guy in. She sat on the couch and continue watching the television. She was watching the drama entitled Suddenly He Came. A bowl of potato chips was placed on a tabletop in front of her with a glass of soda and a soda can.
Sting just looked at Sorano. Maybe she was sitting there all day long. Sting sat on a single couch near Sorano and watched the drama together with her while waiting for Yukino.
"You know it is impolite for a guest if the owner didn't serve him something"
"Just take something from the fridge. I'm too lazy"
"Okay, then, how about sharing some of that potato chips with me"
"That's mine! Go and take your own!" Sorano said in a lazy voice and patted Sting's hand from taking some.
"Hey, that's rude!"
"Whatever, dork!" Sorano made a nasty look and took the bowl to herself. Seeing Sting sulked like a baby, she smiled. "Sure, take it" Sorano gave up and handed Sting some of the chips, only to take it back a nanoseconds when Sting was trying to take it. Sorano laughed at Sting because he amused her. "Didn't I said, it's mine, dork!" Sting made an annoying look at Sorano and she laughed even more.
"Sting, you're there!"
"Yeah!"
"I'm at the dining room" Yukino said and after that, Sting went to the dining room and left the annoying Sorano. Arriving there, Yukino was already sitting on the chair and was waiting for Sting. The table was set for both of them. The table was filled with many kind of foods. There was a candle on the table with some petals decorating the table.
"I'm sure this should be the other way around" Sting joked and Yukino giggled.
Sting sat on the chair in front of Yukino. They both looked at each other and smiled. As they were looking at each other, their hand met each other on the table. Sting grabbed her hand as in he wouldn't let it go. Their faces were only an inches away. Sting kissed Yukino passionately. The kiss was so romantic that Yukino closed her eyes and kissed him as well. The both of them was deeply kissing each other, feeling each other love. As they were breaking apart, Yukino smiled at Sting and did the same. They grabbed a glass of drink and drank it.
Sting was so happy at the moment. He enjoyed the moment that he drank the entire liquid from his glass. He looked at Yukino, a second she was there, and the next the image began to distort. His sight became very blurry. There was a slight pain in his head. He touched his head to fade the pain but the pain kept on coming. His vision was so blurry. He tried to reach to Yukino but he was unable too. He fall on the floor and in a few seconds, he passed out.
Fullbuster Resident
With no relatives or other family to depend or rely on, Natsu stayed at his best friend and also childhood friend, Gray Fullbuster. After he and Sting left the police department, he asked Sting to sent him here, knowing that Gray is someone that he can rely on. Also, because of Gray's house is not as big as it is since he is a bachelor, Natsu had to sleep on the couch. But it's okay for him because when he slept, he will not feel anything and as close to being dead.
Tonight, Natsu couldn't sleep. Knowing that today, his father died, the building that he and his father cherished so badly and all of their efforts, ultimately most of it was his father's went down the drains. Not to mention, that he got a phone call, telling him that his family mansion will be taken away due to some unpaid business. The day was rough for him and he just laid back on the couch and just wait for his eyes to shut on its own.
Heartfilia Resident
Lucy woke up early that morning. She quickly headed to the bathroom to take a bath. Finished changing into her outfit, she headed downstairs and to the kitchen, only to see her mother who was already finished making breakfast. She was sitting on a stool and reading the magazine while sipping on a coffee. On the bench top, there was a pancake and a maple syrup.
"Dear, I'm heading to the office right now" Jude said as he took his briefcase on the couch and headed to the doors.
"Sure, return safely" Layla said back but her face was scared and showed a lot of concern.
"Why, mom? You're suddenly frowned all of a sudden"
"It's nothing, Lucy. It just this day, I'm worried about your father's health. We're not getting younger these days, right? And Lucy, please take a seat and enjoy your pancake"
Lucy nodded and took a seat. Somehow, she could felt that there was something concerning Layla about Jude. But he don't want to meddle if both of them have a problem and don't want to share it with her. She afraid if she did, the problem will escalated even larger.
Hotel La Vista
Cobra woke up that morning with a slight backache due to the mattress of the bed was not soft and comfortable as it looked. But that doesn't really bothered him at the moment. What was bothering him was when he saw Romeo was sleeping next to him and he was hugging him. How come he didn't even realise this yesterday? Well he did notice that there was no other bed here, so it's fine that Romeo slept on the bed with him because he did contributed a lot to him with his hacking skills. Cobra gently stroking his hair so he didn't bother his sleep. Cobra stared at Romeo's face for a while and he noticed for the first time that he had a face slightly similar to him. It isn't ironic, right?
After that, Cobra quickly went to the bathroom and took a bath. He stood under the shower rain and thought for a second. There was something wrong with his personality nowadays. But it isn't something that bothered him much. Was it because of Romeo that his behaviour changed a bit or was it because he became to develop a feeling of wanting a family. A complete family with a wife and children by his side. But could he even achieve that kind of dream? He is a killer, he killed people and made a lot of enemies and friends. Could he have a happy ending when he destroy everyone else's happy ending. It's quite unfair, right? He even killed Romeo's father and snatched his happy ending. His life was filled with sins and people like him doesn't deserve a life filled with fortune.
The ringing sound of the bell at the door cracked Cobra's daydream. He waited a couple of seconds in the bathroom so Romeo will open the door but a minute passed, the bell still rang and Romeo might be sleeping like a log right now. So, Cobra sheathed his down parts with a towel and headed to the door of the room. He glanced at Romeo on the bed and it's confirmed that he slept like a corpse.
Cobra opened the door and he noticed the person standing in front of him was Kinana.
"Hey, Cobra. Long time no see" Kinana greeted Cobra with a warm and soothing smile. But as soon as he realised that Cobra was half naked, she quickly covered her eyes and blushing madly. Her face was so red and could even rival a ripe red tomato.
"Oh, sorry. I was taking a bath and no one wanted to open the door, so...anyways, come on in" Cobra said with an unpretentious tone.
Kinana entered Cobra's room while still blushing. He covered his face all the way to the middle of the room and sat at the bed. Cobra entered the bathroom back and wore a pair of white T-shirt. He quickly dried his hair and went out of the bathroom and sat beside Kinana.
"Oh, you can open your eyes now" Cobra said and slowly Kinana put down her hands and saw Cobra was fully clothed. "When did you arrived here? And how did you know I'm here? And aren't you supposed to be studying right now?" A lot of questions were playing inside Cobra's head. Not that his head was loaded with pretty much many question at the moment.
"I..." Kinana was about to utter a word but suddenly she realised that someone was behind them. Kinana glanced at the person behind her.
"Uh, Dad?" Romeo who was half asleep woke up and his eyes were half opened. He yawned and scratched the back of his head.
"Dad?" Kinana was speechless and couldn't even utter a single word right now. Tears began to roll down under her cheeks. She grabbed her purse and went outside before Cobra could even said anything. Cobra was trying to chase her but she disappeared when she turned left at the corner of the hallway. Cobra sighed and glanced at Romeo.
'Dad?'
