Kasane x Inuchiyo

"Heh~, so that's why that child is with you."

"Yes! Until the lady is able to adopt this child, I will be his mom!"

Kasane proudly stated as she puffed out her chest.

Looks like she has taken a liking to her 'mother' status.

"...You, as his mom? …...Nope."

Kuranosuke coldly threw off her enthusiasm.

"For a restless woman like you to be like a mom, I pity the brat."

"Ugh."

Hearing him call her restless, Kasane groaned.

"Well the father is absent too, after all."

Gorouza forcefully smiled along.

To those words, Inuchiyo perked up.

"Then I'll be the dad!"

"...Ha?"

Without thinking, Kuranosuke's eyes widened and gazed back at Inuchiyo.

"I'll be the dad and Katane'll be the mom! How bout' it!

"Y-you as the dad is even more impractical! Especially when you're just like a kid yourself! !"

With all his might, Kuranosuke rebuked.

However Inuchiyo paid no heed to him and faced Kasane.

"Katane doesn't want be to be the dad?"

"N-no! Of course not!"

"Then it's decided!"

At her response, Inuchiyo happily grinned,

"Then today Katane and I are a couple!"

"Couple…"

"Katane is my wife!"

Inuchiyo happily approached Kasane and ruffled Suekichi's head.

Gazing at the group, Gorouza softly smiled, but Kuranosuke only scowled as if he saw something uninteresting.

"A-a-a-aren't you all idiots!? Even though you can't even look after yourself! If someone like you can play the part of the father then I….!"

"I?"

As Kuranosuke cut himself off, he turned bright red.

Confused, Kasane repeated his last words.

"...I-it's nothing! !"

Kuranosuke angrily raised his voice, leaving Kasane wondering why he got mad at her.

"So Kasane-dono is the mother and Inuchiyo is the father. Unexpectedly, they actually match. That child seems to take a liking to Inuchiyo as well."

Gorouza said as he looked at Suekichi.

Frightened by Kuranosuke's bad mood, the child stood close to Inuchiyo as one of his small hands gripped the taller man's kimono.

Because Inuchiyo's is very childish, perhaps its his nature to easily win children over. Unlike Kuranosuke who is not liked by children.

The main reason stemming from his frank attitude and short, scary temper.

"He's more suited for the role than Kuranosuke."

"...Shut it."

Kuranosuke glared at Gorouza.

In response, Gorouza calmly smiled.

"What do couples do in the first place?"

Tilting his head, Inuchiyo asked Kasane.

She looked at him, bewildered at the question.

Now that she thought about it, what do married couples usually do? Kasane couldn't find a suitable answer. After all the only couples she knew were her parents, who had long passed away, so she had no clue of what 'parents' really were.

"Eh... I wonder… What do intimate couples do in the first place…?"

"Like going out someplace to have fun with everyone."

"That's it!"

Hearing Gorouza's suggestion, Inuchiyo gleefully raise his head.

He pulled Kasane, who was still unable to think of things married couples normally do together, by the arm and tugged Suekichi's hand.

"Inuchiyo-san!?"

"I know a good place!"

He happily replied as he dragged her along with him.

"Don't go anywhere that's too far, alright!?"

In response to Gorouza's words, Inuchiyo gave a huge wave back.

Watching the group disappear from sight, Kuranosuke gave a displeased snort.

Alright, I hope everyone enjoyed this chapter. While I don't know how the childish Inuchiyo would act around his own children in his future, well it'll be a party everyday for him that's for sure.
