Part One

Kasane x Nobunaga

"A festival?"

"Yes, tonight just outside of the castle. Would Kasane-dono like to come with us?"

"Katane should come! If everyone is there, it would be even more fun!"

Kasane was charmed into the invitation.

Now that she thought about it, ever since she was thrown into this era she hasn't had any leisure or had any time for any small entertainment.

It wasn't like she was dissatisfied with her current lifestyle, but she did wish for a change of pace at the moment.

Well, before if she was dead tired and saw her little brothers all that tiredness would fly right off.

"I'll go! I'll definitely go! !"

It was obvious her answer would be ok.

It's been forever since she went off merrily to a festival.

"Then it's decided. Well then, let us request a small day off from our lord."

"You must be joking."

Nobunaga immediately slammed it down.

Kasane and the others looked up at those sharp eyes that would not accept any objection.

"Why!?"

"My lord, if I would remind you of Kasane-dono's service a few days back, would it not be generous enough to allow her a few moments of rest?"

Gazing down at Kasane and Gorouza, Nobunaga's gaze remained cold.

"Do not make me repeat myself."

Noticing that absolute tone, Inuchiyo bowed his head in disappointment.

"If Katane came, it would have surely been fun…"

"Isn't that all? If so, then get out."

Chased out by Nobunaga, Kasane and the others understood they had no chance going against him and left.

"I can't believe him! How come we couldn't get permission to go out together!?"

"Not only that, only Kasane-dono was the only one wasn't allowed to leave the castle…"

"You didn't do anything that offended our lord lately, did you?"

"I particularly didn't do anything!"

Kasane refuted against Kuranosuke's words.

She had no memory of incurring that arrogant, hasty walkover.

If she was bold enough to say it, he was just irrational back there.

"If Kasane-dono cannot go, then we should also give up going to the festival as well..."

"Eh!? That can't be! I feel bad if it's my fault that everyone has to stay behind! You guys should go enjoy yourselves at the festival!"

Kasane hurriedly refuted at Gorouza's suggestion. Her problem wasn't completely irrelevant to Gorouza's and the other's situation. However she didn't want it to be her fault that the other's wouldn't be able to go to the festival. She wanted them all to just fun.

"But for only us to have fun…"

"Please take no heed of me! I'm absolutely alright with that, after all."

Though from the bottom of her heart she felt a little mortified that she wasn't allowed to go.

"Then let's just buy some souvenirs back for her."

Hearing that, Gorouza halted.

"Kuranosuke! You say such good ideas from time to time, don't you!"

"What do you mean 'time to time'!?"

"Souvenirs~! Katane, what would you like?"

"Eh? Anything's fine."

"Then, I'll get ya some food!"

"You're just going to snack on that when we come back! Rejected!"

As the three of them bickered with one another, Kasane smiled.

She may not be able to go to the festival, but waiting for the three of them to come back with slight anticipation wasn't all that bad.

"Kasane-dono…"

Gorouza called anxiously to her, Kasane smiled at him so that he needn't worry about her.

"There! Please enjoy my share!"

Saying that, Kasane pushed their backs.

"...Understood. Then, please forward to our souvenirs."

"I will!"

Kasane sent them off with a smile.

I thought I was able to start on this story when I got back from study abroad, but well... Jet lag. Even though I slept well at night, I was hit with bouts of sleepiness in the next few days.
