There's No Way That's Hinata!

I DO NOT OWN NARUTO OR ANY OF THE CHARACTERS! But I do own the storyline, enjoy!

Chapter: 13

Hinata had a pretty good nights hanging out with everyone. In the end they invited Naruto and his friends to go out to dinner with them, she thought it be good for him. Sometimes she thought she was too nice to them after all the shit they put her through but at the end of the day it was her choice to forgive them. Okay maybe she hadn't totally forgiven them for all that they did to especially Kiba since he had only went out with her for a stupid bet. Then of course she couldn't for get the embarrassment of getting dumped in front of the entire school courtesy of Sasuke. He helped the rest of them completely make a fool out of her, and the sad part is she let them. For years she let them walk all over her, and finally she found her voice. Unfortunately she had found it when they were in America and with the wrong crowd. Hinata sighed brushing her hair and staring at herself in the mirror.

She gave a small smile. She had become very beautiful over the years, now she resembled her mother greatly. Even her aunt Kurenai stated that every time she sees her. Kurenai became their legal guardian when their mom had passed away since her father had given up all his parental rights when he kicked them out years ago. She could still remember that day like it was yesterday, her father had brought home his whore again. But this time her mother was fed up with being treated like trash, and she told him so. That was the night she lost her cool for the first time. Hiashi struck her mother and his bitch of a whore thought she had the grounds to laugh. That night she had gotten into her first fist fight and it was with her father. She did pretty well for someone who was not the strongest fighter, although she didn't win the fight. After that her mother stepped in and told him she was filing for a divorce.

Her father thought she was joking and decided to go on with his whore. It took only two days for her mother to call her aunt and have all their things packed and ready. When her father came home and saw them readying to leave he lost it and struck her mother again. But this time her aunt was there to stop things. Kurenai had been trained in the arts of being a ninja. And as silly as that sounded it actually came in handy when she was faced with an opponent. In the end she had kicked Hiashis ass and they left vowing to never return. Yup, she's been through a lot. And that wasn't even half of it. She didn't realize how lost in her own thoughts since Temari had called her name a ton of times and got no answer. She jumped when the older girl touched her shoulder.

"Temarie you scared me." She said finally putting down her brush to look at her. The older girl smiled at her, it was obvious she was thinking of something depressing. They all knew Hinata would make a blank face when she would think about her past. Which is something she did often.

"Just coming to get your for breakfast, Hanabi insisted I rushed you down so you guys could go on your shopping trip." She told her patting her head. Hinata smiled nodding, she followed her down stairs for some food. Normally she wouldn't eat to much but today she felt a bit hungry, which normally doesn't happen.

"Hello everyone." She said waving to all her friends who returned her greeting, we'll all except Gaara. But that was normal since he didn't really say much. She was feeling a bit happy since the concert, maybe it had something to do with the flowers she received from Naruto. She had them sitting in a beautiful vase her aunt got her from China. Hinata tried not to get to happy about it since she didn't want her feelings to resurface but it was becoming hard for her. She thought maybe it was more of the timing since he was just hurt badly by the girl he'd do anything for, so maybe he was just being extra friendly because she stood up for him. Her head was full of confusing thoughts. I mean it was obvious she still had feelings for him but she had no room in her life right now for a relationship. Her family and her work should come first.

"I'm so excited to go shopping," Hanabi said bouncing up and down in her seat, Hianta just smiled at her. She was also excited since their aunt had some business to attend to in China she wasn't able to come to Japan with them right away. But now that her work is finished for the time being she was happy to return to them and of course offer to take them out for a girls day.

"Okay kids you ready to go?" Kurenai asked grabbing her purse and keys. Hanabi tried quickly to place her empty plate into the sink to put her shoes on, while Hinata stopped picking at her food to also grab her shoes and purse. She was feeling a bit tired but she wanted to enjoy her family time since they didn't get to have it between her work and Kurenais work.

'Today should be fun' she thought with a smile waving bye to her friends.

(With Naruto)

He decided to get a good workout at the gym to try and calm his nerves. He tried to put up a tuff front for his friends but he knew deep down it hurt like hell. But so far so good, he's been trying his hardest not to go back to his old ways of relieving stress. It was so tempting but he knew better, that didn't mean it didn't cross his mind. Sighing he stopped the treadmill he was on to catch his breath, after all this time he was starting to lose his edge a bit. Looking to the clock he figured he'd been here long enough and decided to call it a day. Naruto took a quick shower before he left the gym only to run into some old friends again. Rolling his eyes he continued to his car stopping in front of them. Deidara was standing smoking a cigarette while Hidan leaned on his car wearing a scowl.

"Oh great they sent you assholes," he said proceeding to put his gym bag into his trunk. Hidan growled at him a bit before standing upright.

"Well if you would just come back we wouldn't have to waste time on a fucking brat." he snapped glaring at him Deidara just smiled.

"What my companion is trying to say is, the boss misses you a lot and would love it if you'd reconsidered." he stated keeping his smile in place. Naruto stared blankly at them trying to think things over. At this point he could really use a distraction but on the other hand Kakashi would be heartbroken if he went back on his word. Something he'd never do, and he sure as hell wasn't going to start now.

"Look this is the last time I'm telling you guys. I am not nor will I ever go back to the organization. I get it I was one of his best men but we had a deal and if he knows what's good for him he'll seriously keep his end of the bargain." he told them getting into his car closing the door. Hidan caught the door before it closed filling and smirked at him.

"Fine punk but just know what's going to come your way if you decide to ignore us." he warned slamming the door shut. Naruto glared at him.

"For your sake I do hope that wasn't a threat. You bastards know damn well what I'd do if you are. Make sure you tell that old man that." he spoke in a deadly voice sending chills down the two older men before driving off. He had enough to worry about and now these idiots were trying to wiggle their way back into his life , that was just something he wouldn't let happen. Right now he'd go talk to his old man before he did anything he'd regret, he used to be so easy to set off and now it was a bit harder. But with the shit he went through the past few days was just enough to put him on edge. Maybe he'd invite his old man out for a day, Kakashi was always talking about spending more time together, with that decided he set out to his father's house hoping he'd be home for once on his day off.

(Back with Hinata)

She was really enjoying her time with her family. They normally didn't have time to hang with their hectic work schedules. Hanabi has been bouncing everywhere talking non-stop about how much fun she was having. Kurenai was also relaxing more, which if you knew her personally it was not an easy thing to do. Even Hinata was relaxed, especially with her back to back concerts being over for a while. All she had left to do was a fan meet and great in two weeks then she'd take a vacation. Speaking of vacations her high school graduation was tomorrow and she was not ready. That was one of the main reasons she was out today was to get a dress for her, to get her dress and shoes. Kurenai was excited to help her as was Hanabi. Right now they were shoe shopping, hoping they'd find a nice pair and soon. As much as she loved them they were driving her crazy with all the shoes they were throwing at her to try on. Hanabi would bring her bright colorful ones while Kurenai would bring her the highest heels she could find and no matter how many times she tried to warn them about the regulations for the ceremony it would go in one ear and out the other.

It was fun though no matter what they were trying to get her to wear. She enjoyed the time spent with them. Hinata was currently trying on some bright yellow heels her sister brought her when she heard her name. Looking up she saw Tenten, Ino, and Sakura walks her way holding bags.

"Hinata, I didn't think we'd run into you here." Tenten said giving her a smile. She could tell she was a bit nervous about talking to her, which was understandable considering their past. But she smiled back anyway, it was a bit forced but was still friendly.

"Hello, I didn't expected to meet either." She said leaving them in an awkward silence, she didn't know what to say, it's not like they talked about how things went down between. She wasn't sure if things would ever go back to normal like they had before only because of how things ended. Well more like didn't end. Tenten just stopped talking to her and in the end she became someone she swore she'd never become. One of the bullies that picked on her. It hurt a lot in the beginning but she learned fast that she couldn't trust anyone anymore, and I think that's what hurt the most.

"Um, we'll do you mind if we join you?" Ino asked seeing the tension between the two, Hinata shrugged her shoulders signaling she didn't care. Kurenai came back with another pair of ridiculously high heels.

"Hey I remember you, you used to be Hinas bestie right?" She questioned eyeing the girl closely. She knew a bit of what happened back then and she still didn't fully trust these kids but she knew in the long run it would pay off for her niece.

"Yes that was me." Tenten said looking shameful.

"Hmmm, well I guess things are different now, butanyway how about these?" She said turning her attention back to Hinata.

"Thanks but I've already told you I've found a pair that fits with the schools dress code. So if your done trying to put me back in my stage costume then I'd like to go eat." She joked putting her flip flops back on. Kurenai laughed and went to go grab the little one so they could head out to lunch. Hinata held a small smile on her face while watching her aunt chase her younger sister around.

"Hinata," she heard Tenten call her.

"Yes?" She asked not looking away from the comical scene in front of her.

"I just wanted to say… I'm so sorry." She said looking more nervous then when she said hi earlier. Hinata looked at her out of the corner of her eye and could see how nervous she was and sighed.

"It's fine to say your sorry but more importantly you need to prove you're really sorry. Words at this point mean nothing. If you're as sorry as you say you are then show me, don't tell me." She told her never looking her in the face, which of course hurt her feel is but she could understand.

"I will show you Hinata. I mean it, and I'd really like it if we could be friends again." She said having a bit more confidence in her voice. Ino and Sakura just sat watching the interaction between the two and noticed the small smile appear on Hinatas face.

"Good because it's not going to be easy, but for now I have to go." She said before getting up to follow her aunt out the store. Leaving the girls staring after her.

"Okay what the fuck just happened?" Sakura asked still a bit confused on the situation, Ino just rolled her eyes.

"And you're supposed to be the smart one, she basically told her she has to earn her trust back. Why is your fucking head so big but you have absolutely no brain." Ino snapped rolling her eyes. Sakura could feel the vein popping out of her head while she clench her fist.

"At least I'm passing all my classes unlike someone how shall remain brainless, oops meant nameless." She said before flipping her and walking off leaving a steaming Ino and a laughing Tenten. Speak of Tenten she felt much better now that she told her and knew there was a small chance for their friendship.

'I will work hard for this.' She thought wiping away stray tears. This was the moment she waited for, a time to fix all that she's done wrong and she sure as hell Washington going to waste it.
