Part One

"It seems that Nobunaga-sama wishes for us to bring him sake."

The time was now night with the moon leaning out in the horizon, the time of the ox*.

With one of the retainers coming to them with the request, the three idiots stiffened.

"...? What's wrong? You three…."

With curious eyes, she looked at the group.

"T-to bring sake to Nobunaga-sama…."

Gorouza said in a pale blue face, losing his gentle, calm expression.

"H-hurry up and bring it to him Inuchiyo!"

Kuranosuke with a jerking shove, he ordered Inuchiyo.

"Wha…! Why don't you go, Kuranosuke! You'll score more points with our lord!"

"I-I'm fine not doing that! Inuchiyo! If you go, you'll be helpful to Nobunaga-sama!"

"I-I! D-don't like the smell of sake, that's all!"

Seeing the three of them arguing amongst each other, Kasane absentmindedly dropped her mouth open.

"Just what is going on you three…?"

Just as she made that question, the three of them turned their eyes toward her.

Kasane shrank away in surprise.

"T-that's right… Kasane-dono, why don't you bring out some sake to our lord?"

Gorouza's usual soft smile returned as he asked her. Kasane widened her eyes at the prospect.

"Heh? ….Well, that's fine with me…"

"Is that so! Well, what a relief!"

Hearing her answer, the three of them brought their hand their their hearts and heaved a sigh. Kasane became more confused at this situation.

"?"

"Then, I leave this to you."

The retainer from earlier forced on her a huge jar of sake.

"... If you brought this here, then isn't it normal for you to just bring this to him…?"

"N-no! It's far better for the favored group of three to bring this to Nobunaga-sama than someone like myself…"

"Far better?"

"Pardon me….It's nothing."

"...?"

"I wonder why everyone was like that…"

Carrying the jar with two hands, she considered the reasons as she wandered down the dark corridor.

Everyone loved their lord and would happily do anything for him.

Especially Kuranosuke, who from day one told her his road to success thousands of times, refused to do this for more marks. It was certainly suspicious.

(There must be some sort of catch… I should return right away after I give him the jar.)

The group's reluctant reaction wasn't normal.

Somehow she felt something irregular about this.

But she was now limited to completing this business.

Just deliver this to Tono-sama and quickly leave.

Coming to this conclusion, Kasane huffed with enthusiasm and headed towards his room.

"Tono-sama~? I brought the sake…"

Kasane raised her voice in front of his room.

"...Enter."

Without a pause, Nobunaga's voice called out from inside.

Prompted by his order, Kasane quietly opened the door.

In the room, with in his usual appearance, sat a crossed-legged Nobunaga.

Around him were 3, 4 bottles left casually about; she could tell that he drank a lot by now.

(Uwa, the smell is…)

Kasane thought as she gazed about the scene.

"Um, I'll leave this sake here."

Without entering the room, she began to leave the jar at the doorway.

Nobunaga raised his brow.

"Bring it in here."

"Ha…."

She readily entered his room and placed the jar next to him.

"Sit."

"Eh?"

"Just sit."

Listening to him, Kasane kneeled down and sat close to him.

However Nobunaga displeasing glanced at her.

"Fool. Who told you to sit there."

"? Then where shall I sit?"

Uncomprehending this, she sent him a confused frown.

In response to her words, Nobunaga patted his legs.

"Sit here."

"...HUuuuuh!?"

Unable to understand all of this, she raised her voice.

What does he mean?!

"Hurry up."

It must be some kind of joke or she must have misheard something, but Nobunaga ordered her with his usual expression.

"No, well… I can't do it."

Nobunaga's eyes sharpened his glare as she said that.

"U,u...u...I I understand..."

With tears nearly coming out of her eyes, she hesitantly sat on top of his lap.

(What!? What in the world is this?! Is Tono-sama scheming something!?)

Unable to understand this situation, Kasane trembled with fear.

Just them, Nobunaga shifted his position that caged the small Kasane between his body.

Feeling his chest faintly touch her back made Kasane uncomfortably shriveled in return.

At the same time, Nobunaga started to pat her head; she became bewildered.

"W-what…?"

With her only option to leave her body in his hands, Kasane only widened her eyes and asked him.

"I'm just petting your head."

"No, why is there a need to pet my head…"

….No wait just a minute.

Somehow Tono-sama is acting strange.

Although his expression and tone did not change one bit, his actions were too strange.

…...C-could it be that he's drunk?

If so, then it makes sense for his enigmatic actions.

It seems that the Nobunaga was a troublesome type when drunk, though a bit different than his sober self.

(...Hn? Wait."

Feeling that something was out of joint, Kasane frowned.

(...C-could it be that I'm not treated as a human…?!)

Placed on his lap like this and being petted; isn't this a treatment for cats?

E-even now when she's still contemplating whether or not she has human rights here, it seems that Tono-sama only saw her as a pet.

This wasn't funny.

"Wai-wait! Please get a hold of yourself!"

Brushing off his hand, she somehow moved to a position where she placed both of her hands on his chest to try to push his away. Nobunaga glanced down at her.

"...What."

His brow creased at her rejection.

"I-I'm not a cat you know?"

"...Obviously."

"N-no, but just now… Um… It'll affect my dignity as a human, well I-I think!"

"...Such a noisy cat."

"! J-just now you just thought of me as a cat, didn't you!? You just called me a cat!"

Kasane raised her voice in indignation at his words.

He gave her a dreary expression.

"...You're such an undisciplined stray."

Saying that he pulled her closer to him.

"Hya…!"

Softly biting her ear, he whispered the rest of his words.

"...Why don't I personally train you now?"

With a smirk and thin laughter from Nobunaga, Kasane's eyes grew wide.

"...!"

Nobunaga kissed her nape, his tongue trailed about tasting her skin.

In shock, she stiffened at this unknown touch.

Taking this chance, Nobunaga slipped his hand under her clothes and touched her bare skin as if tracing over her shape.

"ya, Ah…"

Kasane shivered as his soft caress, fraught with embarrassment and shyness she let out a faint and hoarse sound.

"...!"

Unable to believe she let out such a voice, Kasane turned bright red and hurriedly covered her mouth with both hands.

"...That was an awfully adorable cry you let out there."

Nobunaga gave out a satisfied smiled at her reaction.

"...!"

Abashed by his words and without any argument to return back to, Kasane could only remain bright red as she absentmindedly glanced up at Nobunaga.

"Let me hear more…."

"Wah…!"

Now pushed down by him, Kasane felt her heart beat at a record pace.

(T-this is bad, isn't it. No matter how you think about it, this situation isn't good right…!?)

Even though she was awfully dense to love, she desperately wrecked out her brain in order to evade the situation with Nobunaga over her. Now he doesn't even know what he's demanding from her.

Regardless he did or did not take advantage of her current state, Nobunaga began to take off her uniform. Kasane began to panick.

"Ah, um… Well Ah, please wait…!"

"...I'll have your fussy mouth only moan out my name…"

"Eh… Ah…"

By then, Nobunaga took notice of the zipper on her uniform and began to pull it down.

"T-this sake!"

"What is it now."

As Kasane suddenly raised out her voice, Nobunaga inscrutably frowned.

"T-this sake! T-that isn't enough for Tono-sama right? I-I'll bring some more!"

"..."

Although he dubiously considered her suggestion for a while, he willingly consented, "Very well." and moved away from her.

"T-then, um….Excuse me…! !"

Kasane left running away from his room and hurriedly went towards the three idiot's room.

Whew, it was a challenge to translate this, but I somehow did it! Poor Kasane, I know how it's like to deal with drunkards. Especially weird ones. Geez Nobunaga you shouldn't drink so much. Don't you know how bad hangovers are to deal with without painkillers...? Well I never drank nor had any of those, but I'm sure it's not fun.

Ah, this is just me going off topic, did everyone see the super moon/eclipse? Man it was the first time I've ever seen an eclipse before it was certainly a sight to see. Not only that, it was with a harvest moon! Next time, I should have a really good camera with me to take better pictures. Ahahaha...

Well then, again I don't know when I will be able to upload the next chapter, but I shall do it as soon as possible. As always I hope everyone here has an extra safe and enjoyable week.
