"What…?"
Nobunaga made an unusually bewildered face.
"I wish to help Toukichirou-san with his job! ...Am I not allowed to?"
"..."
On top of suddenly visiting him in his room early in the morning, he gets her unexpected proposal.
He sent a suspicious look at the grinning monkey next to her.
"When I told little missy here about my job, she became really interested!"
The man added in lackadaisically,while scratching his relaxed face.
"You sent her out with Ikeda before, so it should be fine right?"
Both of them fidgeted (as if they were brats asking permission to go out for an outing) as they looked at him with expectation in their eyes.
He stared at them for a while and later snorted.
"...If I remember your next job required you to stay overnight."
Toukichirou slightly jumped at his scathing statement.
"...Is that so~?"
As Toukichirou intentionally looked away from Nobunaga, he feigned ignorance.
...This guy.
The middle of his brow creased as he saw Toukichirou's reaction.
"It was Tono-sama who told me to learn about all kinds of work, right?"
Kasane being Kasane took no notice of Toukichirou's nervous condition and continued to stand on her ground.
He had no idea of what that monkey told her, but it was clear that she thought of his job as a little adventure.
How can she not see such an obvious ulterior motive…
For this woman to look over an overly friendly guy, he supposed that her world was more laxed on the relationships between man and women than in this era.
In this era, although he did not know the life of a farmer, a young girl would hardly ever go out on her way to meet a man.
It was often because they were already arranged a partner to marry at a young age so it was rare of them to fall in love.
Even the farmers should not be an exception to this.

Nobunaga sent an accusing glare at Toukichirou.
Toukichirou frantically pretended not to notice it.
He finally gave out a small sigh.
"Girl, I already assigned you work. It shouldn't be easy for you to leave it all behind for several nights."
Hearing those words Kasane went, "Urp." and remained silent.
Even though she was told that was the minimum amount of work Nobunaga gives out, it was still as large as a mountain.
As she thought, convincing him was impossible~, Kasane slumped her shoulders in disappointment.
The monkey next to her was drooping his form with disappointment for an entirely different reason.
Nobunaga then began to consider her proposal.
As a woman she has never tried to indulge from him nor ask for any special treatment. She actually surprisingly flexible.
If she wishes to still be useful for him, she might as well learn more things.
"...As long as you just do an inspection at the town just outside of the castle, you'll still be able to come back within a day."
"Eh. So I can go?"
Kasane's face suddenly brightened up.
"You're not going out to play. Don't forget that."
"..."
Toukichirou made a complicated face.
"S-so the overnight mission is..."
"That job doesn't need to be done as of now. It's fine if you teach that girl how to gather intelligence."
"...I, I see…"
Seeing Toukichirou slumping his shoulders down in disappointed again, Nobunaga snorted at him mockingly and cut their conversation.
