Kasane woke up shivering from the chill.

Unconsciously, she cradled herself into a ball and rubbed her arms before getting up.

"...Hnn~... so cold… What time is it…?"

The thin light that crept through the small opening through the door told her that it was already morning.

Still feeling sleepy, she made sure to firmly rub her eyes to drive off the tiredness away.

"Uu… so cold."

In order to start on her daily morning chores, Kasane slowly got out of her bed.

The chill stung her body as if a drift came across.

When she breathed out, she could see a faint trail of mist.

Just in case, in order to not feel numb, she pulled on several layers over her garb.

It's a bit hard to move in, but it's better than freezing out there.

She trudged along to the door and slid it open, and looked out into the garden.

"...Uwah…!"

Kasane unconsciously raised her voice. For there was a silver world that laid before her.

"Snow…! No wonder it's been chilly these past few days…"

Without thinking, she set out into the garden in her bare feet.

The peculiar sound and sensation of the snow came with the chill.

"Cold."

Kasane happily said and gave a broad smile.

Yep, this chapter was a short one. But don't worry, you guys just need to wait until tomorrow for the next chapter! Since we're getting to the end of フクロウ's sotries, I feel like I haven't met the other cast members of Sengoku Strays for a long time. (lol). I've been trying to even out the pairings so it's not like we have a NobuKasa marathon. Although I think there's tons of people who would love that.

It's almost 2016 huh... Time sure flies by. I think I translated Promise last year and that was... probably 70ish chapters ago? Ah... good times, good times. New Years is almost upon us, so get started on those new years resolutions (｀∀´) ...or finish them up if you haven't done that.
