Disclaimer: Sorry to keep everyone from waiting. I was having some cramps in my hand so I decided to take a small break from the computer. Went on to read some books I've got for Christmas, so that was fun.
Ahem, all credit goes to Shingo Nanami and フクロウ. Here's the last part, it's very fluffy. Enjoy.

It Must Be A Mistake
Kasane x Nobunaga
Part Three
"...Is that me?"
Nobunaga said in an irked tone.
Whether Kasane noticed it or not, she gave him a smile.
"Yep! You can see the resemblance~."
He was taken aback by her response.
Staring at the snow figure's frowning expression that Kasane called 'Oda Nobunaga'-like, he then sighed.
As he exhaled the white mist emerged, spreading in the cold atmosphere.
"Just need this… there!"
Kasane finished the sculpture with a twig.
You can see the clear unpleasantness of its eyes, so much that Nobunaga thought of throwing another snowball to this fellow.
"It doesn't look like me."
"Ehー, I was pretty confident with this one."
She protested against his review.
It made him irritated that she said it so seriously.
"What's Tono-sama making?"
She had seen him secretly making something in the snow before.
He took one glance at her before looking away.
"Could that be Tenrou? So cuteー..."
Taking at look at his work, she raised her voice.
For she saw a tiny snow version of the bird.
"Did Tono-sama make this just now? You're good at this."
"Hmph."
Finding this not all that bad, Nobunaga snorted.
"Ah, Tono-sama your hand is red…"
Had Kasane not told him, he wouldn't have noticed it at all; he took a look at his hand.
As he went out barehandedly out into the snow, he could see his fingers reddening.
"This isn't-."
A big deal, is what he would have said, but Kasane suddenly held his hand.
She's been wearing homemade gloves made out of straw, so her hands weren't in the same state as Nobunaga.
Cradling her hands over his, she could feel the cold overtaking her senses.
"What are you going to do if you get a frostbite?"
She began warming up his hand with her breath.
His eyes widened from her unexpected action, but he didn't resist.
(It's still cold huh...)
Even as she tried to breath out onto his hands, it wouldn't warm up. Her brow crinkled up from worry.
Then, as if struck by an epiphany, her face suddenly brightened.
Whenever her brothers' hands got cold, she would always do this.
"!"
"Hya, just as I thought it's cold…"
Not knowing what she was thinking, Nobunaga's eyes widened at her next course of actions.
She had pulled both of her hands and brought it over her neck.
"Is it warm?"
With an innocent smile facing him, Nobunaga could only keep himself silent as he stared down at that face.
A different kind of warmth came over him.
" ...You…. …. too defenseless."
"Ha? Eh? ...Owowow!"
Nobunaga frantically pulled his hands away and roughly ruffled her head as a diversion.
"W-what was that for?"
"..."
Confused, she sent him a reproachful glare.
As she kept spouting out criticisms, he applied more pressure when ruffling her head.
"Ow! I'm telling you it hurts…!"
"Hmph."
After snorting, he finally released her head.
Kasane began fixing her messed up hair while sending a glare to Nobunaga.
"In the first place, you're the one who's wearing such a thin garb."
He looked at her while saying this.
Even out in this cold weather, Kasane was only wearing a thin cardigan over her uniform and a pair of gloves, which were the only things that seemed suited for winter.
Still in her thin shirt and short skirt in this piling snow; it was a style that wasn't suited outside in the cold.
"Well, I came from a snowland country, so this temperature is still alright."
Kasane wryly smiled as she brought a hand to the back of her head.
He narrowed his eyes at her.
"...Wear this."
"Wah!"
Shrugging off his haori, Nobunaga tossed it over her head.
She blankly glanced at him.
"Seeing you like that only makes me feel cold."
Gruffly saying that, he began his journey back to his room.
Trying to feign ignorance through his words, he began to feel embarrassed.
He could feel her gaze searing behind his back, but he made sure to look forward and quickly moved on.
Meanwhile Kasane glanced at his back; hard enough to create holes.
She had never once in her life expected him to take her wellbeing into consideration, so her head was filled with chaos.
Trying to remonstrate her burning cheeks, she covered them with her cold, shivering hands.
It couldn't be…
that
(she thought Tono-sama was)
(he thought that woman was)
(cool)
(adorable)
to think that,
(...must be a mistake.)
Well that was a fluffy story, wasn't it? Off to the next story!
I'll be working on something (it still pertains to Sengoku Strays), so I may not be able to upload the next story tomorrow. Instead I'll be uploading that something on tumblr, those who wish to see it make go to my profile and click on the Sengoku Strays Fanpage. If not, then I'll see you all after New Years. So, until then I hope you all have a safe and enjoyable week. The year is almost over, start anew when the New Years arrive!
