symbols: "speech", 'thought', 'conversation between Akira and her" (if it says "she" does something it doesn't mean she actually did any outside Akira's mind) oh one thing I forgot to add is Akira wears a big jacket that hides her features she has the hood of the jacket up most of the time with her hair tucked inside the jacket.

I stared out the window of the train deep in thought. On my side of the window it was empty ,besides Koji who was staring out the window opposite of me. I looked around the train and stood up. Koji only gave me a glance before looking back out the window. I sighed tiredly and walked down the aisle a couple of times before sitting down and looking back out the window which was just a deep black wall

'he doesn't talk much does he?' she asked me curiously I rolled my eyes at her comment 'guess he doesn't'

'well try-' it sounded as though there was static in my head, the air in my lungs was forced out and the train shook knocking both of us onto the ground her voice was faint in my head as she called to me seeing as it wasn't normal for her not to be able to speak to me. I squeezed my eyes closed in pain when I opened them I saw something in Koji's place or at least it flickered in his place for a couple of seconds. It looked like a man dressed in silver, he had a blue scarf and blond hair. I closed my eyes again as the train jerked to the side violently when I opened them again it was gone and Koji was slowly getting up off the ground.

'hey! Akira can you hear me?!' her voiced rang through my head making it throb with pain.

'yeah I can hear you... don't yell' I got up shaking slightly and sat back down rubbing my head trying to soothe the pain. I looked back out the window as the car was filled with light as we finally exited the tunnel. "are you alright?" I asked Koji as he stood up, he simply nodded in response.

I turned my attention back out the window as a cloud out of small ghost things came up. 'there kinda cute huh?' she asked me 'can you get closer to the window so I can see them better?' I nodded and walked up to the window kneeling on the seats, one of the ghost things pressed its face up to the window and I reached out tapping it and the tiny thing flew away. "aww come back." I murmured softly.

"what? Koji asked coming to the window

"there were ghost looking things outside of the window" I said sitting down "but they flew away when I tapped the window." he looked out the window then to me. He shook his head and sat down. I got back up and opened the window slightly to feel the the air come threw. I leaned out and looked around "there's land up ahead" I pointed to the mass we were heading too. I sat down and my pocket began to buzz I reached into my pocket and pulled out what was supposed to me my phone but it was instead a ball of light. as the light dimmed a small box appeared: it was black with a purple grip and small buttons on it. I held it up and looked at it " wow"

'you do realize that was the new phone you just got right?'

'oh yeah huh?'

'your really indifferent about things you know that right' she laughed. I shrugged at her 'I guess'

'whatever'

"welcome to the digital world this is your D-tector" the small box said.

'the digital world? That sounds familiar doesn't it Akira?' she said quietly.

'yeah it does' me and Koji continues to look out the window taking everything. The train sped past a a town, mountains suddenly started to appear as code swirled around in the air

"what.. is … hmn" Koji started his face showed curiosity and frustration

"well that was cool" I said softly. As we went pasted the new mountains I noticed that we were slowing down. "find the spirit and all will be answered" the D-tector said as the train came to a complete stop.

"okay then..." I looked up from the small box and got up gathering my things. Koji was already outside messing with his D-tector.

'how are we supposed to find the spirit?' she asked me "i don't know" I said frustrated. Both of our D-tectors lite up and a map appeared above the screen two dots showed on the screen one was blue the other was purple both in the same general direction.

"hey Koji" I said walking up to him he looked up at me curiously "the dots might be the spirit. We should head in that direction." he nodded and reached out his hand for my bag "I'll carry the bag so you don't slow us down"

I frown slightly "i got it" he shrugged and started to walk away I followed him looking through my bag then handed it to him when he asked again. I started to put my jacket on while I was walking i ran into his back. He had stopped and was looking at something. After I had pulled on my jacket I followed his gaze two boy were going by one was older than the other: the older one was heavier in a light blue track suit with brown hair. The younger one was short and thin in a tan shirt that had brownish gray ridges. He had yellowish tan pants and big shoes. On his head he had a big yellow orange hat. "theres an accident waiting to happen" Koji said as they ran by.

"probably right" I said looking back at the map and started to walk again he followed "they shouldn't be wandering around this place, but oh well" he walked a bit ahead of me looking at his map

"yeah but we aren't here to play baby sitter" I said looking around at the tall pillars of bronze and pale dirt. We walked for a long time before he spoke again his voice was irritated "man this is getting old" we stopped in front of a cave "lets go in!" I said excitedly heading toward the entrance he frowned slightly

"probably safer to stay away from creepy holes in the wall".

I smiled "why are you scared of dark places?"

"no." he said annoyed. I grabbed his wrist "come on!" pulling him inside. We heard the sound of someone calling for help and we both ran a bit faster I let go of his wrist as he got a head of me. He stopped as the small tunnel opened up to a cave. I saw both of the boys from before being attacked by bunny looking things. Koji jumped down to help them I followed landing next to Koji he grabbed a pole and broke it. I reached behind me and pulled out my staff pushing the button on the side making it extend. We ran up to the bunny things and started to fight them off, we moved back to back till we were consumed by the rabbit things we swatted them away with easy

"It's not over yet" the lead bunny yelled as data surrounded him. He grew really big and smelled terrible, he spat out a nasty liquid that melted the ground me a Koji got away from it I put away my staff so it wouldn't be destroyed 'now what?' I thought frustrated running back a bit I saw two other people the red boy from the train and a girl dressed in lavender. I studied the girl becoming annoyed with her: she had a lavender hat that looked like cat ears, a purple stripped shirt that showed part of her stomach, a lavender over coat/vest,and a lavender skirt. She was pale and thin with blond hair. 'she must really like that color...' she said quizzically

'probably' I thought tiredly I then noticed that the boy was gone and standing in front of the little boy. The creature , Raremon I think it's the name was, attacked them all. The red boy jumped out of the way knocking Koji into the hole. I ran up to the hole to try and grab him but I was a few seconds late "damn it." I hissed hitting the ground I slowly got up. Light shot up from the hole, and out came a wolf man dressed in silver. I knew It was Koji because of what had happened on the train "Lobomon the legendary warrior of light" I turned around to find a little creature reading from a very thick book I walked over and looked into the book curiously as Lobomon fought Raremon.

"interesting" I mumbled thoughtfully "oh! Who are you?" the girl asked her voice was high and slightly irritating to listen to. She got mad when I didn't answer "hey? I asked you a question. Don't be rude." I shook my head and turned around and started to walk away. "doesn't he know that it's rude to ignore people?" she said frustrated. I smiled slightly at her comment amused. I saw that Lobomon had won his battle and data swirled around him. Koji was on his hands and knees the red boy was trying to help him up but Koji just pushed him to the side "I should thank you for saving me though... I'm Koji Minamoto" the red boy didn't respond "I can't repay my debt if I don't know your name"

"I didn't save you to be indebted to me!" the boy said angrily. I walked up to them annoyed and not liking being around all of them "just tell him you name"

"I'm Takuya Kanbara" he finally said.

"good now lets go" I said to Koji who nodded. Takuya finally registered who I was and yelled "your the kid from the train!" I ignored him as started to walk away Koji close behind as we left I heard the girl say rather loudly "what's their problem?" once we were outside Koji sat next to a tree I stood next to him and closed my eyes.
