Hey! Chapter 3! a little bit will be revealed about Akira and "she" will finally be named! anyways onto chapter 3 of legendary warriors of peace and hope!

"It smells different here" Koji said as a soft breeze came by.

"mhm kinda like sugar" I said sitting down taking me backpack and putting it on my lap. "hey are you hungry?" I asked rummaging through my bag

"why?" he looked at me curiously

"I have food" I said pulling out two granola bars. He took one "why do you have food?"

"I'm currently in the process of running away..." I smile slightly. "it's the first time I got a world away from home it's kinda nice knowing that I wont be found"

he turned to me "why did you run away?"

"many reasons" I said opening that wrapper and eating it. I stood up closing my backpack "we should get moving" he nodded "yeah we have to find the other spirit" we looked at our D-tectors and messed with them till we could get the maps back up. Once we did we started walking in the direction of the purple dot. 'NO! DON'T STOP TALKING I CAN'T TAKE THE SILENCE!' she yelled desperately I sighed 'seriously don't yell it makes my head hurt' she frowned slightly 'I'm sorry please talk I don't like the silence.' I sighed again then thought of the small battle before Koji fell into the hole "hey Koji... how did you learn to fight?" I asked I heard her sigh deep in the back of my mind

"I take kendo classes" he answered looking up at the trees that started to surround us. "how about you?"

"same" I said we then fell into a a long silence. After a while I started humming softly but stopped as I saw something flash to the left of us I stopped and walked to it's direction. Koji hadn't noticed me walking in a different direction he was just looking at the map. As I got closer to it, it formed into a shape it was white with pointed ears. It looked like a cat with green gloves on. It turned to me and it eyes filled with recognition "Akira?" it said walking up to me "how? Did you get here?"

I blinked a couple of times and processed what was in front of me "Gatomon?" Gatomon smiled at me and jumped up to me and hugged me "you remember me! I'm so happy!" I smiled as memories came back to me of when I was younger. "I'm happy to see you Gatomon. The last time I saw you I was six"

"you were really small then but you like to were that black bandanna around your arm"

"yeah" I sighed then remembered the Koji I turned and called for him. Apparently he had noticed my absence and had turned around to find me cause only a few seconds after I had called him he appeared from the thick brush "why are you all the way over here?" he asked pushing a branch out of his face

"I found something" I said holding up Gatomon. He looked at her and sighed annoyed "how is a cat going to help us?" "this is Gatomon and she might know where the spirit is" I said rolling my eyes setting her down but she jumped up and landed onto my shoulder balancing perfectly and laid down looking at Koji "I know where the spirit is" she said calmly "but if you don't want my help that's fine" he frowns annoyed but sighs "if you know where it is then take us there we wasted enough time already" she smiled jumping down from my shoulder "alright then lets go" she started to run in the direction the dot had been me and Koji ran after her.

'well it's nice to see an old face huh?' she asked smiling

'yeah it is nice' I nodded slightly

"how do you know Gatomon?" Koji asked as we ran after her. I looked down at the ground thoughtfully "when I was younger I found her and took her in... I took care of her for a while... she had been lost and hungry... and I wanted her to feel welcomed to our world... after about 2 month she suddenly disappeared and I never saw her again" Koji didn't respond just looked ahead in thought. Gatomon stopped and turned to us. "you need to close your eyes for the rest of the way ok?" I looked at her confused but nodded. After closing my eyes I felt her jump onto my shoulder

~after many confusing directions~

"you can open your eyes now"

I opened my eyes and in front of me was a small village filled with little things which I guess where digimon.

"this is Gatomon village" Gatomon said looking around proudly. The village had small huts made of rocks and straw roofs will bark used as doors. "their all so little" I smiled picking up a small dog looking digimon who smiles at me "I'm lalamon" "hi I pet its head and it giggled and jumped down and ran to the other small digimon. The ground started to shake and the tiny digimon ran into their little homes and hid Gatomon pushed me back into the thick undergrowth "stay here!" she said urgently she ran a little aways away when a deep voice filled the air "Gatomon! where is the spirit?!" I looked into the trees opposite of me and saw a giant black spider with orange fur around it's head each foot had white ribbon looking around it's legs. The tip of it's feet where red like its jaws. A giant skull was on it's abdomen. "Gatomon...who is that?" she didn't answer me, her ear just twitched in acknowledgement she was shaking in fear. The digimon looked at her "where is it Gatomon if you don't answer me I'll destroy your precious little village and turn all the digimon into eggs" Gatomon shook in fear and anger "it's not here so go away"

"oh~? But yesterday you said you knew where it was"

Gatomon became tense her tail twitched agitated "I don't know where it is anymore"

"LIAR!" it yelled both me and Gatomon flinched at it's voice it ran forward and slammed purposefully into a house the small digimon inside ran into another house scared and yelling in terror. May body began to shake in anger I started to step forward, but Koji pulled me back by my backpack "what do you think your doing?" he said annoyed

"what do you think? I'm not going to just sit here and do nothing" I hissed annoyed he frowned "really and how do you plan to fight? Do you seriously think you could fight it?" "ye-"

"without a spirit?"

I looked down annoyed. He was right I couldn't do anything the digimon was a lot larger than me and faster and probably stronger. Without a spirit I was absolutely useless. I slumped down defeated. "I-I c-can't do anything..." I could feel him watching me. I could hear the spider smash another house and the yells of terror from the small digimon. I looked up "do something. I can't but you can, so do something" he sighed "it's not our fight" I frowned annoyed reaching behind me touching my staff and stood back up. "it's not our fight? How could you say that?! The monster wants the same thing we want! It's destroying the village so it can get the spirit!" I removed my staff and pressed the button on the side making it extend "those digimon are suffering because of that spirit! This is our fight" I turned and started to leave the bushes when he pulled me back again with an annoyed sigh "put that thing away. I'll fight. I'll have a better chance then you since I have a spirit" I looked at him and sighed pressing the button again and it became small again. "fine"

"the best thing for the village is for you to get the spirit as quickly as possible." he said as he spirit evolved into Lobomon. I nodded and went to Gatomon and pulled her into the bushes as Lobomon attacked the spider. Gatomon looked at me "we have to get the spirit. Take me to it Gatomon" she nodded and ran across the village I followed, both of us running at a full sprint. We ran into a clearing with a cave on one side "the spirit is in there come on" Gatomon said running into the cave 'why are they always in caves?' I thought annoyed 'get over it! The spider is coming!' she said anxiously. "I'm going I'm going" I said quietly running into the cave after Gatomon.

It was black inside the cave the air was icy can sharp I could feel it through my jacket I couldn't see anything but I could hear Gatomon in front of me I could feel the wall on my left the wall was as freezing. The air was getting thicker as we went deeper into the cave. I felt as though everything was slowing down the my head felt heavy and it was getting really hard to breathe "Gatomon?"

"were almost there" she called back to me. Suddenly her voice resounded in my head as she became frantic 'it's gone! The spider is gone!'

'what? Did Lobomon defeat it?' I asked

'no Lobomon is stuck outside of the cave'

'how do you know that?'

'I just do ok? we need to hurry Akira!'

we made another turn and stepped into a large cavern in the center was a statue of what looked like a women the cavern shook and light came through and shined down on it. It was a women with long hair. Her hand reached up to the ceiling as though she was catching something two large wings were open from her back. The womens face was covered by a mask that had a black tear drop on the left side. The women was covered in clothe her right arm was bare the other was wrapped up she was dressed in a long tunic her feet were bare.

"woah" I said staring at the statue I looked up at it's hand and it was reaching for a box that had just started to pulse in bright light. 'the spirit' I thought amazed

"It's in the box... but I'm the only one who can get close to it... probably because I'm an angel type digimon... everyone else is normally pushed away" Gatomon said walking up to it. As I followed after her I felt as though I had just walked under a waterfall and was going to be crushed but it quickly disappeared as I continued to the statue. I looked around confused "Gatomon did you feel that?"

"what?" she asked confused

"never mind" 'Mira? Did you feel that?'

'yeah I felt it' her voice was so faint I could barely hear it it was like static or rushing water. I sighed shaking my head trying to clear the static

' Akira... can't …. hear... you.'

my mind started to go blank like someone had wiped it clean with an eraser then everything was quiet. Nothing. there was no worry or fear no sense of urgency or regret just blank careless peace 'hello? Mira can you hear me?' I asked tiredly. There was no answer nothing not even a faint whisper. 'Mira? Are you there?' I began to feel tired I wanted to lay down and sleep and never wake up 'is she gone? She appears to be... maybe I'll.. finally... have...sooommmee peeeaace'

CRASH

"huh?" I said as my eyes snapped open, or thats how it felt like. I turned around to see that the spider had crashed into the wall light filled into the cavern blinding me for a moment "damn it" I hissed rubbing my eyes.

"FOUND YOU!" the spider yelled running. I stumbled back a step and almost fell over the edge of the pedestal on which the statue was on I grabbed onto the statue shocked "when did I get up here?" I mumbled confused

'move!' Mira yelled for a moment I felt like I had been thrown to the back of my mind and someone else had taken control of my body I fell off the pedestal and onto the floor and the spider's claw flew past my head barely missing me

"what the hell just happened?!" we said at the same time. Our voices came out of my mouth at the same time.

The spider turned around and yelled "the spirit is mine!"

"no it's ours!" me and Mira said at the same time as I jumped up onto the pedestal reaching for the golden box

CRACK!

The ground around the pedestal shattered and I fell threw and everything went black. I floated in nothingness staring up at the hole I had fallen threw the statue fell around me crumbling into fine dust the gold box blew apart and and a curled up bird floated in the air I grabbed my D-tector and held it up and the spirit came towards me slowly when the spirit came to me it lite up "it is time" it said code slide around my hand and I brought my D-tector down across the data I mumbled softly "spirit evolution" my body started to stretch I felt no pain my arms, legs, hair chest all grew. It felt weird a piece of clothe covered me completely a mask melted over my face. I dropped to my knees as wings shot out of my back I shot up into the air "Raemon!" I whispered and I flew up out of the hole.

well that's the end of chapter 3 :) … just kidding! I'm not that evil. Alright let's continue

I looked around and saw Gatomon underneath the giant spider

"leave her alone" I said my voice was light and airy but coarse. My voice was definitely older and reminded me of Mira only slightly lower. The spider looked up at me and hissed lowly "you have the spirit? Well no matter I'll beat it out of you!" she charged at me as I landed I stepped to the side and it missed me running into a wall it charged at me again and I side stepped again "this reminds me of the bull people in Spain" I said thoughtfully

"don't get hit or it'll hurt" Mira said sarcastically

"no really?" I said annoyed I then realized she had spoken threw my mouth not in my mind like normal

"you dare mock me!" the spider yelled charging at me. Mira moved my body to the side and I fell down shocked 'how did you do that?!' I asked confused and startled

'dunno but it helps huh? Now get up!' she hissed

I stood up only to be knocked over by the spider who had taken advantage of my daze and attacked "damn it!" I hissed as I was knocked against the wall I quickly got up trying to catch my breathe. The spider ran at me again this time I jumped up and dodged it and landed on its back and then back a couple of steps the spider turned and ran at me again and I dodged it "it's getting slower" it growled and turned to me "poison sting!" it yelled and webs came at me Mira tried to get me to go one direction while I tried to go another causeing my to be shot in the arm as soon as she gave in and let me take control of my body. "damn it! Mira let me control my body!"

'sorry'

I glared at the digimon though my mask "Mira you said you could sense Koji and Gatomon right?"

'yeah'

'well where are they?'

' Koji is coming down the tunnel and Gatomon is in the entrance of the cave'

'alright' "this battle is dragging on I need to end this" I said putting my hands together "radiant peace" a sword appeared between my hands and I swung the blade as the digimon came at me I hit it's head knocking it back. It yelled in pain and swung it's leg at me I blocked it with the sword and knocked it back the sword disappeared it reached up my hands and drew one back "spiraled arrow!" I said as light formed in my hand ad an arrow grew as I drew back my hand. I shot three arrows at the spider two hitting it on the head and moved out of it's way the sword appeared in my hands again and I hit its back and the digimon froze and turned to data I pulled out my D-tector and scanned the data "fractal code digitize" I said tiredly then data swirled around me and I dropped to my knees exhausted. "Akira!" Gatomon said running up to me "are you ok"

"yeah I'm fine" I said trying to catch my breathe I heard Koji run through the entrance and over to me "hey are you ok?"

"yeah... do you have my bag I asked looking around".

Koji nodded "here you go" I took my bag and looked though it for something to eat but stopped figuring it had to last between the two of us.' stood up and got ready to leave Koji took the backpack. The ground started to shake and we realized that the cave was about to collapse with out the spirit to hold it up. The three of us took off in a full sprint as the ground shook and dirt fell from the ceiling. We stumbled out of the cave clumsily and it finally collapsed like it had never been there. The code was released from my digivice trees and a spring filled the space the cave once stood. I took a deep breath and sighed tiredly, "that was too close"
