Sup guys... yeah... last chapter was terrible... so I'm gonna try and make it up in this one... so yeah Koji and Akira are on their own again... hmm I haven't decided on whether to spit Akira away from Koji and everyone else and it just be her and Gatomon... or to send her with the other people... or just her by herself...I dunno yet oh well. Just as a reminder

'How did I get here?'
'Koji' Mira said laughing
'Oh yeah... I hate heights.' I looked down the cliff face shuddering slightly."Damn it."
'You know it helps if you don't look down?' She laughed enjoying my pain.
'You little.." I looked up as I heard voices.
"Help!"
"Somebody help us!
"No one can hear us!."
"Your so negative!"
I looked over at Koji who had started to climb up the cliff face. 'damn it...'
"Hurry Akira." Gatomon said looking up worriedly
"Alright alright." I said as I began to climb up the mountain holding my breathe. We reached a cave in the side of the mountain where the voices were coming from. Koji pulled me up when I reached it. Inside it was small with a cage. The cage contained snail looking digimon all looking rather sad.
"Hello?" Koji said as he walked over to them. They digimon looked up with happiness
"Oh heroes" one said looking at us.
"Quickly please release us" another said
"You'll scare them off" one said angrily. "Don't be so pushy". Koji grabbed the giant lock a shook it a couple of times. During this short amount of time the digimon continued to yell. I looked around for something to break the lock and found a giant rock.
"Hey Koji use this" I said pointing to the rock. He nodded and picked it up and began to slam the rock into the lock. I became tense and I felt something rise behind me I turned to find glowing eyes the creature grabbed me and Koji throwing us out of the cave.
"Oof!" The three of us landed in a giant pile of hay.
"Oh great, we get done and the universe throws humans into the works." A voice said as we started climbing out of the straw.
'Uhg. My head hurts'
'Moments like those I'm glad I don't have my own body' Mira said tiredly
'Oh fuck you.' I sighed rubbing my head. The digimon KaratsukiNumamon? (I think that's what Gatomon had said) Took us up the side of the cliff to the leaders home and told us about what had happened to them and why their women were trapped in the cave. I heard voices from outside recognizing them and sighed. Koji looked at me a wooden pole in his hand. We looked at them as the came in Takuya, being the first one, in looked at us in surprise.
"Your here?"
"Your the people these guys found to help?" Koji said in disbelief lowering the pole then looked at the snail digimon. The other's looked in after Takuya. "Koji?"
"Yeah none of us could find food either." Takuya laughed softly.
"Don't lump us up with you guys" I said annoyed
"These kids aren't going to be able to help you out at all" Koji said to the snails.
"I'll help you right upside the head!" Takuya said angrily.
The small boy looked at us desperately "Come on at least give us a chance."
"Thanks but no thanks" Koji said closing his eyes, hitting the pole to his hand. "I mean look at you. All you'd do is get in our way." He gestured his hand in my direction. "Can I help It if your not on our level"
'Aww how sweet' Mira laughed in the back of my mind. 'he considers you an equal.'
I rolled my eyes annoyed
"Watch it stick boy.-" Takuya started.
"Gentlemen please!" A mustached snail said bowing "My thanks to all of you for coming to help, and now it is time to eat"
"Alright time to chow down" The other's said happily, before falling through the door. I was thankful that I was off to the side and not next to Koji cause they all fell close to him but he had moved just in time not to be hit.
"Oh well at least we'll get some food to make us feel better" JP said sadly. We settled into the house and the digimon laid out what looked like lettuce in front of us.
"Is that what I think it is?" Takuya said disappointed
"I don't know. It looks like rabbit food" Jp said with a sad frown.
"Well at least rabbits eat" Zoe said picking up one of the food things, which me and Koji were already eating.
"Well here goes nothing" she said taking a bite as the boys watched in amazement she chewed it for a second then stopped smiling "Molto Bono. Dig in! Tastes like steak." The boys looked down at the food then at each other before taking one and ate it saying what theirs tasted like.
"How'd they get here anyways." Takuya said looking at us as we ate.
"They fell from the sky." the snail digimon said
"They did what?"
"They fell!" After we were done eating Koji began to explain what was happening.
"Grumblemon has the captives in a cage" he pointed to a map "it's right about here."
"We'll have to get in and out quickly." I mumbled just loud enough for them to hear. The digimon looked worried.
"Just relax" jp said looking up at them and they all smiled happily "Have no fear, leave everything to us legendary warriors!" jp said this proudly. But the digimon didn't react with joy but fear before running back a little. Everyone looked at them confused.
"What's the matter?" Zoe asked.
'This doesn't feel right.' Mira said cautiously. 'Their scared now..' I gave a small nod in agreement watching them. The leader shivered "You mean all of you are legendary warriors?"
"Yeah!" Takuya said clearly not seeing the small digimons fear. They went into a corner and started to talk to each other
"Hey what got into them?" The small boy asked curiously.
'Akira..'
'I know, I know.' I was getting more and more nervous by the second. Apparently the white digimon had said something but I hadn't been paying attention.
"I bet their in aww of us" JP said smiling like an idiot. I honestly couldn't believe how stupid they all were. even Koji didn't seem to notice the digimons fear.
'More like they're terrified of us.'
"Eh hem. It is time to go to bed" The leader said weakly.
"And I say it's time to rescue the girls" Takuya said standing up proudly.
"No, no, get some rest first" the leader said waving his hand. "and then you can tackle the job in the morning."
"Uh Ok." Takuya said deflating.
"Now off to bed with you!" the leader said sending us to a room
I stayed up looking at the wall.
'We need to leave... now' Mira said lifting our body up.
'Do you think that's a good idea?' I asked rubbing my eyes.
'Yes. I do think it's a good idea, now lets go!' I got up carefully trying not to wake anyone up. I failed only slightly though, because the only one who woke up was Gatomon.
"Where are you going?" She whispered softly.
"I got a bad vibe from the KaratsukiNumemon... I don't think it's a good idea to stay here." I whispered to her. She nodded in agreement "I felt that too. Should I-" the KaratsukiNumemon started to creep into the room me and Gatomon got into a corner and watched them as the began to tie everyone up and drag them out of the room.
"I thought there was more," one said pulling them away .
"Me too" said another. I walked carefully out to see where they were going, being careful so I wouldn't fall off the side of the cliff. I took a deep breath and started to follow them feeling slightly numb. I really felt like running away but I kept myself calm and didn't, not that I really could without falling off the side of the mountain. I stopped and sat on the side of a house as the snail digimon tied the others over the the side. The dangled for a little before Takuya woke and subsequently started to freak out. Yelling up at the KaratsukiNumemon who held sharp rapier looking thing threatening close to the rope that held them.
I remained quiet for a time then sighed as I realized why they had done this. 'So I guess not all legendary warriors are good."
'Apparently.'
'We should help them.'
'Yeah... that would be smart.' I reached into my pocket and pulled out my D-tector and looked at it I frowned slightly. 'Only problem is I don't know how to use this.'
'Well try something cause people are about to die.' Mira said nervously.
"Yeah, yeah" I said pressing a button quickly and data swirled around my hand I quickly scanned the data with my D-tector, data swirled around me until I had fully digivolved to Raemon.
"What are you doing?!" Koji yelled up to the KaratsukiNumemon. I watched everyone carefully knowing if one of them fell I would have to catch them fast.
"We'll give you back to your partner, in exchange for our women!" The leader yelled back.
"You dirty sneaks!" Takuya yelled angrily "Is that why you brought us here?"
"No, I think it is you who are the dirty sneaks!" The leader growled "Pretending to be caring, helpful stranger when your really legendary warriors!" everyone was confused, including me though I was guessing that just as there were good warriors there were probably bad ones too.
"I don't understand!" Zoe yelled sounding like she was about to cry. "What's wrong with that?"
"The time for your games and lies is over!" The lead KaratsukiNumemon said angrily " Soon you will be back with your ally!"
"Ally what are you talking about?" Koji said frustrated
'You should just swoop in and rescue them' Mira said in the back of my head.
'That could cause more problems.'
'True... so we just wait then?'
I nodded slightly 'That's probably the best we can do for now.'
I wasn't happy about waiting but I knew it was really the only option I had at the moment.
Crash!
The wall next to the others busted open a voice echoes inside the newly formed cave "Now give fractal code or bad thing be happening!"
Takuya ,being the smart guy he was, yelled back "Oh yeah says who!?" I shook my head.
'Apparently he forgot he's hanging over the side of a mountain.' Mira mumbled slightly amused. The voice said something I couldn't quite understand as it walked out. To say the very least it was ugly, it had a giant nose, looked like a tan garden gnome with lavender battle armor and a deep red sock looking hat. It's body wobbled as it walked because it's body wasn't proportioned properly, Grumblemon's arms were like miniature trees with red symbols on them and while it's legs looked like twigs. Zoe pointed out that Grumblemon had a symbol on his belt which I assumed was the symbol of a legendary warrior.
"Give fractal code or else" Grumblemon said roughly.
"I didn't realize there were bad warriors" The white digimon said quizzically.
'No shit sherlock' I thought bitterly.
"Grumblemon!" The lead KaratsukiNumemon held the rapiers close to the ropes "If you want to save your allies, give us back our women now!"
I stood up carefully so I wouldn't draw attention to myself.
"What's so?!" Grumblemon asked looking up "Me no care what happens to weak human beings!" The KaratsukiNumamon looked at each other confused but went back to looking angry. Everyone started to freak out as the rapiers got closer to the ropes. "Wait you really don't care about them?! But there legendary warriors as well!"
"Huh?" Grumblemon looked confused then angry "these weakling be legendary warriors?
"Wait what's going on here?!" The leader yelled "You aren't allies?"
"Thats what we've been trying to tell you!" The small boy cried tears flowing down like waterfalls. Grumblemon pulled a giant hammer from the ground and swung it at the the others I shot down and blocked it from hitting them but was slammed into the wall making the snail digimon let go of the rapiers in shock as the wall shook. Koji kicked off the wall and one of the rapiers cutting the ropes around him. I pulled myself out of the crater that was created when I hit the wall and dropped down after Koji. As he fell he digivoled and I grabbed Lobomon's hand a threw him back up to the battle that was about to begin. I turned in the air just as Lobomon kicked Grumblemon in the chest. I heard a crash and guessed they had run into a house. I flew up to the other's making sure they didn't fall as they were brought back to safety.
"I'm sorry" The leader said "I have made a terrible mistake" I flew away from them and went to see Lobomon's battle. Just as I started to fly to him, he and Grumblemon came falling down past us, slamming into one building after the other I looked into the hole that had been made and saw Lobomon hanging over the edge. Grumblemon was looking over him he gave a laugh and stepped on Lobomon's hand making it let go.
"Akira look!" Gatomon said from her spot on my back between my wings.
'When did she get there?' Mira questioned looking back
'I don't know.' I looked up and saw that the other's had spirit evolved "Gatomon? Who are they."
"The orange one is Agunimon legendary warrior of fire, then there is Beetlemon legendary warrior of thunder and the small one Kumamon legendary warrior of ice." Gatomon said breathlessly.
"Alright." I nodded and went to help Lobomon the others coming after me.
Beetlemon grabbed Grumblemon's hammer making a smart ass remark. I went to help Lobomon Kazemon and Kumamon closely behind. Kazemon reached out to help Lobomon but he looked away.
"Oh come on quit the macho act and give her your hand" I said quickly as I looked up then back down at him. He gave a growl and took her hand and was pulled up out of the hole.
"Ok here's the plan while me and Raemon fight Grumblemon you go free the captives" The other's nodded looking at me curiously but left. Me and Lobomon shot up to where Agunimon and Beetlemon where looking around.
"What's wrong now?" Lobomon question anxiously.
"We don't know where Grumblemon is." Agunimon answered looking around.
"You lost him?!" I asked exasperated as soon as the words were out of my mouth the ground above us opened up to a cave both me and Lobomon took aim but Agunimon got in our way.
"You trying to get shot" both of us said in unison I lowered my hands slightly Agunimon turned confused but was hit by Grumblemon's hammer knocking him down I jumped after Agunimon as he fell. Luckily for him there was a ladder close by and he grabbed onto it. Me and Beetlemon grabbed Agunimon and pulled him out of the line of fire of Lobomon's Laser but Grumblemon who appeared next to us disappeared back into his hole. I sighed and put Agunimon onto a ladder. As we went to find Grumblemon it began to rain. I looked up and saw that the women were free. When Grumblemon appeared again Beetlemon slammed his hand into the wall caused an avalanche.
"Wow. That was smart" I mused.
"Yeah but where are the captives"
"Over there" Kumamon said pointing to another mountain
"Must be nice to go home.."
'Well that's depressing.' Mira said softly in the back of my mind. I sighed then noticed that the mountain was glowing with code "well that's not good." I mumbled as Grumblemon came up just underneath the code.
"Thank you me no find without you!" Grumblemon said smiling wickedly "No get rid you!" he held up a little object and data started to swirl around him "Beast spirit evolution!" Grumblemon grew in size. "Gigasmon!"
"Oh no..." A shiver ran down my spine I flew away from him a bit. He quickly turned into a a tornado and charged into anyone who was close to him I could tell by how far they went that Gigasmon was much more stronger than us.
"Slide evolution" Gigasmon returned to his smaller form he laughed at us calling us weak and other stuff that I zoned out by instinct. I charged him out of frustration and was thrown back by his hammer while I was in a daze Mira took control of our body and straightened us out and watched helplessly as he swallowed the mountains fractal code. The whole place began to shake we were hit by a rock and began to fall becoming human again.
sorry... i got lazy toward the end... anyways as in the first authors note i need you guys to tell me how i should split them up either Akira goes with the koji and the other boys, with Zoe and Jp or by herself so i can get started on the next chapter.
