Disclaimer: I'm sorry for the very long delay. One week I had exams and another week I was offered a small job for my TA, so... yeah I was sort of busy. Ahahaha... So I missed Valentine's day. Hopefully everyone got onto the chocolates sales. Well then, all credit goes to Shingo Nanami and フクロウ. Again this story is pretty dark. Enter with caution. The next story will be up on chapter 109 if you wish to skip. Well then, now that's out of the way, let's get started. Enjoy!
羽衣天女
Robe of the Celestial Maiden
Kasane x Ikeda
Part Two
"...Hn, I should go back.
Saying this, Kasane reached out away from the falls and gently walked in the calm waters where the petals danced around; she reached to the spot where she placed her clothes.
Kasane tilted her head, utterly puzzled.
On the branch of the peach tree where she placed her robe; it's gone.
Even though the rest of her clothes were still there, why?
If it flew off somewhere that'll be terrible.
If doesn't have that, she wouldn't be able to fly back home.
Suddenly she saw something in the reflection of the water.
As she turned her gaze, Kasane found herself staring at a young man.
For a moment she remained stunned, not fully understanding anything at all.
And once it hit her, Kasane's whole body flushed bright red in embarrassment.
"KyaaAAaAAA! ! W-when were you! ! P-please s-say something is you-...! !"
Panicking, she stuttered out her words towards the man.
Hurriedly grabbing onto her clothes, she quickly put it on herself; not caring whether the fabric became wet from her skin.
Even though she made sure that there weren't any people around this area so that she could come down and bathe here.
Kasane felt like burying herself into a hole from utter embarrassment.
If it were a woman who saw her, that might have been fine, but a man saw her naked.
W-what shall she do; if he might think of her unreasonable for bathing here, will be be angry?
She only saw the man for a mere moment, but she saw him as a frightening person.
Now fully clothed, she frantically hid behind the tree and assessed the man.
He's young.
He held himself in a calming manner, but he didn't seem too far off from her age.
However, well, from what she can see he didn't seem to be younger than her.
Probably around his 20s?
Blue bandana. He had a slim stature and rather handsome features.
Uuuu, to think that such a young man like him saw her naked….
Even if though it might have been unsafe to bathe here, she wished that he could have gone off his way as if he didn't witness anything.
If he had some sort of business here, she would have finished taking her bath and go on her way without any incident.
That's when an idea dawned her.
This person might know where her robe went.
"U-um…. I-I apologize for... s-showing such an unsightly appearance….."
Keeping her distance between the man, she apologized.
"I-I'll get going, so, i-if y-you happened to see the robe I placed here…. W-would you know w-where it went?"
"..."
The man didn't answer anything.
Uu, this person is scary.
"I-I'm sorry…. I-I will look for it myself…"
Saying this she stepped out from behind the tree and began looking around the perimeter.
There wasn't any wind today, so it shouldn't have flown too far off, she thought.
Though Kasane found it suspicious that her clothes also didn't fly off as they were in the same place where she left them.
"That."
"Heh?"
The man opened his mouth.
Kasane tilted her head as she stared at him.
"...No, if didn't have that robe, would you be troubled?"
"Y-yes! That's correct! If I don't have that, then I wouldn't be able to return home…"
Unexpectedly the man's voice was gentle, Kasane couldn't help but cling onto those words.
"...Is that so. However, the sun will set soon."
"Uu. B-but… If I don't have that, I can't go home…."
Quite frankly she was getting scared; the sun was setting.
All light will disappear by then.
She was also scared of the ghosts.
"If you don't have shelter… then would you like to stay over at my home?"
"Eh?"
"...You can't go home, am I right?"
But…! Is that alright?"
As she bewilderedly asked him, the man gave her a small nod.
"...T-thank you so much! !"
Kasane happily took his invitation.
The naive Kasane was thankful for meeting such a nice person at this time.
Kasane was not knowledge of the world of humans.
Everyone told her it was a horrible world, yet there was someone who would help her even though they didn't know of her origins.
"My home is in this direction."
The man started walking.
Somehow she felt that his pace was hurried.
But Kasane took no note of it and held no caution to him.
"Um! I'm Kasane! ...Mister is?"
Somehow catching up to the man, she asked for his name.
The man, with a slightly bewildered expression, glanced down at her.
"...I am Ikeda, Katsusaburo."
The man exchanged his name to her.
