A/N: This is really late in updating and I am REALLY sorry about that it's my fault (Batmarcus) I've been having a rough few months. So sorry to all of you and sorry to my friend and Co-Author/Beta Better a Freak Than a Fake. She's amazing!

Enjoy!

Meanwhile back at the Capitol, it was just time for Prim's interview. "Now everyone Primrose Everdeen!" Prim smiled and headed onto the stage taking a seat. "So Primrose, welcome, how are you feeling?"

"Pretty good actually. The Capitol has been very welcoming."

"Good we try, now I have to ask. How did it feel to be pulled for the second year in a row?"

"Maybe Effie just likes saying my name," Prim said, earning a great laugh from the audience.

"That's an option, but really how are you feeling about these games?"

"Well, I'm nervous obviously. I don't want to die yet and Katniss certainly doesn't want me to."

"Of course not, but you must feel you have a chance?"

"Of course I do."

"That's good, now how do you feel about what the girl from 2 said?"

"I think I'll have to be very careful with her."

"Do you feel she's a threat?"

"Definitely but I'll have to get past it."

"I can help."

"You feel that you can?'

"I'll try my best at least."

"Do you have a strategy?"

"Yes but I can't just reveal it to the other tributes."

"True, true how do you feel about your district partner?"

"Actually, I love him." There was a loud gasp. "We actually got together a while after the reaping."

"Really!?" he asked stunned. Prim nodded letting a tear fall. "I can't imagine how this must be for you," he said.

"It's really hard, Caesar."

"Do you wish you had known him before the games?"

"Well, I knew him but I never realized he liked me that way."

"Oh, I see so it was an oversight of sorts?"

"Yes, it was."

"You poor girl."

"I really wish I had noticed."

"Do you think it's good you notice now?

"Yes I do. Our limited time has been better than never at all."

There was a collective "Aww."

"Do you think that you will be leaving these games as a victor?"

"I do think so."

"Do you want to be though?"

"Yes I do."

"Good, then I am sure you can win. Thank you for your time Prim."

"It was my pleasure, Caesar."

"Primrose Everdeen!" He said. The crowd roared as Prim headed off stage.

"Now then our final tribute Measel Undersee!" Measel took a deep breath putting on a smile and going on stage. "Welcome Measel welcome, how are you feeling?"

"Really nervous to be honest."

"Is that so; is it just because of us?" He chuckled

"Yeah, not tomorrow or anything."

"Well, no need for the nerves here we just want to talk."

"It is about tomorrow, Caesar."

"I know dear boy, just trying to lighten the mood." He said.

"Well, thank you, Caesar."

"To business then, how do you feel about your odds?"

"Almost non-existent."

"What? Why?"

"Well, two reason mainly, the first being that I can't kill Prim."

"Oh, of course why would you want to kill someone so sweet?"

Measel smiled a little. "You in the Capitol don't even know half the story. She's absolutely amazing."

"Better than she seems already? I mean the nation does love her."

"Even better. She's the most amazing girl in the world."

Again there was an "Aww."

"Don't you want to make it out though?"

"I did say there were two reasons, didn't I?"

"You want to lose?"

"Well, I haven't really been very prepared."

"Really why not?"

"Well, I've known since the reaping that Katniss and Haymitch wouldn't really pay much attention to me with Prim as a district partner and I've pretty much been right."

"Is that so?"

"Yes, they don't mean so but they do."

"That must have been detrimental to you though."

"It has been."

"How have they reacted to this?"

"Well, they realized it and have been doing better."

"That's good."

"Yeah but I think it might be too late."

"You never know."

"I guess we'll have to see."

"We will no need to give up yet."

"You're right, Caesar."

"Good, thank you."

"We're out of time though, Measel Undersee of District 12 everybody!" People clapped as he walked off.

Meanwhile back at 2, Frol and the other Peacekeepers that went with him found the Grandparents' house. He knocked once and waited. There was no response at first so he banged on the door, "This is Head Peacekeeper Frol OPEN THIS DOOR!"

The door opened and a well build silver haired man answered. "Mr. Diabolous, you and your wife are under arrest for child abuse and neglect."

"What!?"

"Your daughter, Mantear, we have proof of what you did to her."

"How?"

"She told us and we saw her scars and weight."

The man threw a punch. Frol just barely managed to duck the punch and aimed to slam the barrel of his gun into the man's gut.

He dodged and aimed his elbow at Frol's head. Frol dodged and went for a punch to the man's jaw. That one connected making him stagger back. While the man was off, Frol swung the butt of his gun for the back of the man's head and he fell hard.

The man was unconscious from the blow but they cuffed and shackled him in case he did wake up and they went to find the woman ready to meet the same resistance. "Move with caution."

The rest with him nodded. They headed down to find a sparring room. "That's surprising."

"Not really." Said a woman's voice.

Frol turn to her. "Mrs. Diabolous, you're under arrest."

"On what grounds?"

"For severe child abuse and neglect."

"That bitch!"

"You better watch your attitude. Now, are you going to cooperate or will we have to knock you out like your husband?"

"You hurt him!?"

"He fought us so we had to use force."

"You're going to pay for that."

She swung an uppercut for Frol's jaw. He dodged and kicked her in the gut. She dodged at the last second grabbing Frol's leg from the air.

She hit him fast in the gut. The hit connected but then she was grabbed from behind and cuffed by two other peacekeepers. She struggled. "Get them both to the Center," Frol ordered, hatred only growing by the second.

"Yes sir."

The woman continued to struggle as she was dragged away. "Why did they focus on me!?" Frol asked.

"You're the head, were doing all the talking, and they're clearly not very smart."

"Right good point."

"Rather stupid of them though."

"Yeah, the woman hits harder."

"Probably both hit even harder in their prime."

"I bet they did."

"Terrible thought."

"Let's just go."

"Yes, of course."

Meanwhile Measel and Prim were headed back. "You did good, Prim." Measel told her.

"So did you."

"Not really."

"Yes really." She said simply.

"Hopefully enough."

"I think it will be."

"At least we'll be together at first anyways."

"Yeah, of course," he said.

"You can stay with me tonight right?"

"I can and will."

"Thank you," she said, snuggling up to him.

"It'll help us both."

"Yeah, I think it will."

"I'm sure."

"You need to sleep," he said.

"We both do. So, let's go try."

He nodded as Katniss came over. Katniss didn't look pleased but waited until they were alone. "What the hell Measel?!"

"What?" he asked, it not clicking what she was mad about.

"You said we ignored you in front of all Panem!"

"Well, you did."

"You shouldn't have said that."

"He asked."

"You could've said something else."

"What's wrong with what I said?"

"It made us appear like we don't care."

"Oh… I didn't mean to make you look bad."

"Well, you did."

"I didn't think of that."

"It got sympathy and that gets sponsors," Prim said, defensively.

"I guess. It still made me look bad though and those stick."

"I'm sorry. I really didn't mean to."

"It's okay. Besides that, you both did well."

"Thank you."

"Any more advice for tomorrow?" Prim asked. "And please repeat yourself if only I got it."

"Alright, get to your weapons and get away from the Cornucopia fast as possible, find food and water."

"Got it." They both nodded.

"Stay away from 2 if you can."

"Definitely." Prim gulped.

"Got it," Measel said.

"Okay, keep your heads down don't hunt for enemies."

"Only careers ever do."

"I know. I'm just saying."

"Well, we won't."

"That's good because it's unnecessary. Just gives more opportunities to get hurt or killed actually," Katniss added.

"Okay, we'll stay safe."

"Good, and stay alive."

"That sounds like Haymitch advice."

"That's because it is."

"Oh, got it."

"It was the first and last pieces of advice he gave Peeta and I before the arena."

"Wow, did it help?"

"Yeah it did actually, at least for me."

"Well, then we'll remember that."

"Good then that's really all there's left to say."

"Okay, I suppose we should sleep huh?"

"Yes, try to get what you can."

They nodded and headed down the hall. "I can't believe it's into the arena tomorrow." Prim sighed.

"I know it went so fast."

"Guess it's expected to seem that way though."

"Yeah, I suppose."

"I'm scared though."

"I am too, but we'll get through."

"I don't know."

"We will," he said.

"Can you keep a secret?"

"Of course I can," he said.

"I'm not sure I want to win. Between losing you and all the things the games have done to Katniss and the other victors."

"I see what you mean."

"So wouldn't it be better to just die there?"

"No, the world needs people like you."

"I wouldn't be like that anymore though."

"You wouldn't change completely."

"Enough."

"You'll be okay," he said, hugging her tightly to him.

"How can I be?"

"I'll make sure," he said.

"You'd be dead." He didn't respond to Prim being oddly negative. "Understand?"

"A little."

"I can't let Katniss find that out though."

"I won't tell her I promise."

"Okay, thank you."

"Let's go lay down," he said.

"Yes, let's."

"You can have the bathroom first," Measel offered.

"Thank you," Cady said, and went in for a shower. Measel went to the bed and laid down waiting for his turn.

A while later he heard, "Um, Measel, I need some help."

"Yeah Prim, what's wrong?" He asked.

"I just realized, I kind of forgot to grab pajamas could you bring me some?"

"I'm still in the shower," Prim added.

"Oh okay, just a second." He said going over to one of the tablet like screens and getting clean pajamas sent through a shoot freshly ironed.

"I'm coming," he said.

However, when he went in, she wasn't in the shower. "P...Prim, what...are you..." he stammered nervously as she approached him.

"I had been doing some thinking, and by tomorrow we could both be dead."

"Yeah, I suppose we could." He said as she stopped in front of him.

"Well, I don't want to go in with regrets, and I want to show you how much I love you and this is the last chance that no one would have to know."

"Prim are you sure you want to do this?" He asked as his hands rested on her hips

"I'm sure." Measel caved in and pulled her to him as he kissed her passionately as he could

In the next room over, Haymitch was actually mostly sober looking through the tribute account and bets when he heard moaning. 'What the hell?' He thought cocking his head to the side as he realized it was coming from Measel's room and was in two different tones

He smirked a little laughing silently. "Not the first time."

"Still, never would have suspected that between those two, I wonder how Katniss would take this?" He chuckled

He considered if he should tell her but decided against it. "Better to keep that out of her head for now."

Eventually, Prim and Measel finished and lie panting on the bathroom floor but both with huge smiles. "I didn't know anything could be like that," she said.

"It was incredible," Measel agreed.

"Yes it was. We really should sleep."

"Yes, get dressed though first."

"Probably best yeah," he said.

She got up helping him up as well.

"I love you Prim."

"I love you, too, Measel."

"I'll stay with you."

"Good, I don't want you to leave."

He smiled pulling her close to him after they had dressed. "So, now we can see if we can get some sleep."

"Yeah I hope so." She said climbing into bed and snuggling up to him

"Together we stand a better chance, at least."

"Yes we do."

"And I'm right here for you."

"I am for you too." He held her close falling asleep.

They did actually sleep well until the soft knocking. They both yawned getting up. "You two awake?" Katniss asked.

"We are," Prim called.

"Can I come in?"

"Yes you can," Prim said, glad they had gotten dressed after that.

"How are you feeling?"

"Terrified."

"Stay calm."

"Were you able to?"

"Only a little," she admitted.

"Well, what did you do?"

"Talked to Cinna."

"I'll try that. He's really great."

"Yes, he is."

"I can certainly see why you like him so much."

"He's a good man."

"That he is."

"I'll be okay to I suppose." Measel sighed.

"Right! Sorry again, Measel."

"It's fine nothing we can change now."

"Now you both need to go eat and drink as much as you can fit." They nodded silently. "Come on then."

Prim took Measel's hand and they followed her. They headed to the table still incredibly nervous. Across from them Katniss and Haymitch sat eating. They took their seats dishing up, though they didn't have much of an appetite, they knew this was their last chance.

"So did you two sleep well last night? Enjoy a last shower before the arena?" Haymitch asked casually

Prim blushed hoping a coincidence. "Well… yes… we did."

"I thought so the water was running for a quite a while."

'Definitely, knows,' Prim thought with a sigh. "Well, figure might as well try to enjoy the last night."

"Ah, I can see your point there."

"Somehow we had managed it, actually."

"I'll bet believe me, a shower before the games has helped many others before." Katniss just raised an eyebrow not getting what he meant.

"Good to know."

"Anything left we need to know?"

"What has Katniss told you?"

"Get our weapons and get away from the Cornucopia to find food and water, avoid 2, and stay alive."

"Not really much I need to say past that. You stole my line though," he said to Katniss.

"They needed the advice."

"I would have even it to them."

"You were busy."

"It's okay. I was messing with you.

"I know."

A while earlier, Cady woke up on her own floor. She seemed scared as she drew her knees to her chest trying to calm herself down, to be the career she has to be. "Hey Cady," Kawino said.

"Aren't you scared?"

"Yeah, a little. I don't really have as much to be afraid of, though?" he added.

"Why not?"

"Well, Clover's already dead and my parents need to die so that's not an issue and I've had time to get used to almost anything I'll face there. Losing you is all there is to fear."

"I don't want you gone though," she said, hugging him.

"I know but I don't want you to either."

"We need to get out."

"How?"

"I don't know."

"Impossible."

"Nothings impossible I can't lose you too, you can't leave me alone," she said, sounding very much like the little girl she was supposed to be.

"Cady, if I had wanted to leave you alone, I would have done in already but one of us has to."

"No, I refuse to let you die," she said.

"And I refuse to let you."

"Then don't leave me."

"That doesn't change the rules."

"I...we can find a way please?" she said, crying a little.

"I'll try. I promise I'll try all I can."

"Thank you."

"Anything for you."

"I'm sorry for being selfish."

"You haven't."

"I mean with what I'm asking."

"You still haven't."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes I am."

"Okay," she said.

He wiped a few off her tears. "Are you ready as you can be?" She nodded into his chest. "So, let's go eat."

"Right okay," she said.

"Want me to carry you to the table?" She nodded again. He scooped her up taking her down. She cuddled into him not caring really how she looked at least for now.

Kawino just kept her close not knowing what there could be to say. "How are you both feeling?" Enobaria asked

"Nervous."

"That's to be expected."

"We won't seem that way when anyone else can see though."

"I know you won't."

Kawino went to put Cady down in a chair but she just held on tighter. "Okay you can sit with me," he said.

"Thanks, Kawino."

"No problem," he said, sitting down.

She adjusted on his lap but stayed on it. He dished them each up a plate. Cady eyed Kawino's plate and dished him more. "You need to eat," she said stubbornly.

"I had enough."

"No way, there was barely any there," she said.

"Not really."

"Yeah, really, that wasn't enough Kawino."

"She's right," Enobaria supported.

"She is?"

"Yes, you need the energy and this is your last sure chance for a long while."

"Okay, I got it." He turned to his now adequately filled plate and start eating.

"You know what to do?" Enobaria asked.

"Just not with each other."

"Okay."

"Any ideas?"

"Well, first weapons you'll need them, from there get away."

"Get away? Why?"

"Get your weapons and make a few kills, if a pack forms join it. If not you two slip away together."

"Got it." They nodded.

"Good."

"What about for each other though? Neither of us wants the other to die."

"I am not sure I will see what I can do from here."

"Okay, hopefully one of us can figure it out."

"Yes I hope so."

"Other than that, we're clear on it."

"Good now, Cady, don't obsess over 12 in there."

"But she's dangerous."

"Not as dangerous as others focusing on her will get you killed."

"Well, I guess that might be true."

"It is."

"I'm scared though."

"I know, but you'll be okay."

"I don't know any other tributes, even the other Careers and then Kawino..."

"There actually might be a way."

"Really?" Cady asked, rotating in Kawino's lap to face her.

"I don't have time or security to explain the whole thing but the rebels have a plan to break into the games and get out alive as many tributes as they can. Just survive until then and hope the rebels pick you up and not the Capitol."

"Will you be there with them?" Kawino asked.

"Yes I will. There is one problem though."

"Which is?"

"You can't kill Prim," Enobaria said directed at Cady.

"I can't? Why?!"

"They need her alive to keep the Mockingjay on our side."

"The who?"

"Katniss, she's become the symbol of the rebellion. As long as she lives and stays on the rebels' side, the rebellion lives."

"So, I can't kill her?"

"No, you can't."

"She's dangerous though!"

"Cady, it's kill her or get you both out."

Cady sighed. "Okay but I won't save her if it comes to that."

"Fine." Enobaria said.

"Then I'm in and I assume you are, too, Kawino?"

"Of course I am."

"So that's all we have to do?"

"Yes it is."

"Incredible."

"You can do it."

"What happens with my parents if this works?"

"Not sure really, but given your dad has been a good mayor to the Capital I think they'll be okay," Enobaria admitted.

"I hope so." Cady sighed.

"It'll be okay."

"It's scary."

"I know, but stick together and you'll get out."

"That part I'm sure should be fine."

"Good."

"It's them I worry about."

"They will be okay."

"You just said you weren't sure."

"I know I am trying to make you feel better."

"Well, it's not."

"Sorry."

"I don't really think anything could there."

"Just focus on eating okay?"

"Okay."

Soon thought the peacekeepers came. They both got up, Cady on her feet this time. "It's time." They said as both of them nodded giving Enobaria a hug before they left

"I know you can do it," she said before they left.

"Thanks." They said as the doors slid closed.

They quickly gathered their composure as they headed up to the roof. Even so Cady stuck close to Kawino as if afraid he would vanish if she got too far. Kawino took her hand carefully. She gripped his as well. "I'll make sure things are okay wherever I can," he promised her.

"Thanks, Kawino," she said.

"It's no problem, Cady."

They walked onto the roof towards the hovercraft and both boarded being some of the first. That came as a bit of a relief as they took their seats.

One by one the others arrived. Cady sighed once Prim came in. Her best option in the arena is probably to stay away from her.

Soon they were moving. Though the Careers hid it, all the tribute young and old were incredibly nervous.

No one spoke. What was there to say after all? Despite fairly successfully seeming Career-like, Cady stayed close to Kawino. The windows blacked out they were nearly there and somehow it got tenser

It wasn't long until the craft landed and it was time for everyone to go to their separate launch rooms. "See you soon." Kawino whispered to Cady.

Cady nodded letting go.

Prim meanwhile was just as nervous as anyone being lead to her room. She was glad at least to find Cinna there. "Hello Prim," he said.

"Cinna." She smiled hugging him.

"Prim, how are you feeling?" he asked.

"Terrified."

"Understandable."

"What do I do?"

"You try to relax first."

"I've been trying."

"Well, you need to know it will be alright."

"Hard to be sure."

"Trust me. I think it will."

"Well, you are usually right."

"I think you'll be alright."

"Thank you, Cinna."

"Glad to help."

"You've always been really nice to me and Katniss."

"Of course, you're wonderful people."

"Still, thank you, for everything."

"It's my pleasure."

"So, I need to get changed?"

"Yes, into your arena clothes."

"Okay," Prim said, with a deep breath.

Cinna walked over to a jumpsuit in a glass case. He took it out immediately noticing, "It's very thin. Won't provide much protection from cold."

"So maybe there won't be cold?" Prim asked.

"Most likely, probably desert or tropics."

"Okay, good to know anything else?"

"Not really."

"Well at least it's something."

"You can usually get some guess from the uniform but not much."

"Yeah, that's true."

"Still, it's good to have a bit of a warning."

"It's all I can do for you." He sighed.

"You've done so much."

"Not really, I just made you two look even better."

"You did much more than that."

"I try to be there for you both."

"You succeed."

"It's good to know, are you feeling a bit better?"

"I am actually."

"Good to know, has having Measel helped as well?"

"It has some."

"Good, you two seem close."

"We are."

"Yes, so I hear."

"It was a little weird how obsessed Haymitch was with showers this morning though." Prim went bright red. "Know why that might be?"

"Well...yeah actually I do," she said carefully.

"I figured as much," Cinna said, with a slight smirk.

"How much do you know?" She asked

"Well, I assume you two did IT."

"Well...please don't tell Katniss!" She said

"I promise I won't."

"Swear? I don't know how she would take it."

"I swear. No one needs to hear about their little sister's sex life anyways."

"Yeah, I don't think so either."

"So, I swear I won't."

"Thanks and I'm pretty sure she'd kill me."

"I think she would understand."

"I am not so sure."

"Well, we won't have to find out."

"True." She chuckled.

"You seem to be feeling much better."

"I am," she said, as they were told to get in their pods.

"That will help," he said as she got in.

"I'll be okay right?"

"Yes, you will."

"Okay," she said.

Soon she started to rise. "Good luck." Cinna said before he slipped out of sight

A while earlier, Kawino arrived at his own stockyard. There he found a woman inn near impossibly high heels and a silver dress. "Annia." He smiled.

"Hello Kawino," she said, smiling. "How are you feeling?" she asked, as he hugged her.

"A little nervous."

"Everyone is but you'll be okay."

"I hope so."

"I know you will."

"You seem so sure."

"That's because I am."

"Why?"

"Because, despite how terrible it was. I'm not trying to make light of it but you're better prepared for this than anyone."

"Yeah, I suppose so."

"So, do you believe me?"

"Yeah, it's just different."

"Well, that doesn't make it not true."

"I know, but this time I may not want to win."

"Why not?"

"Cady is in there too."

"True but you never know."

"Huh?"

"Things change."

"Yeah, I suppose."

"Just make sure to try."

"I will."

"That's all I ask then," she said, getting his outfit.

"Pretty thin." She said.

"Won't provide much protection."

"Maybe it's not needed?"

"Maybe not, hopefully not at least."

"Yeah, there has to be a reason."

"So, what might the arena be like?"

"Expect it to be warm at the very least very much so."

"Okay, so water will be even more of a priority."

"Yes, it will."

"I'll keep that in mind."

"Good the belt also seems odd." Annia examined it carefully. "It must serve some purpose. It just doesn't seem as obvious."

"Meaning?"

"I'm not sure what the purpose is."

"Okay." He sighed

"Sorry about that."

"It's okay."

"It will probably be clear once you need it though."

"Yeah, probably."

"So, it'll be okay."

"Yes it will."

"Now, that's what you need."

"What?"

"That attitude."

"Oh, you think it'll help?"

"Yes, I do."

"Alright, I will try."

"Good, it can get you far."

"I hope so."

"It will."

"Alright, I got it."

Just then, he was instructed to his tube. He hugged her one more time before getting in. "Good luck," she said.

"Thanks, Annia." She smiled a little as he rose up.

Soon everyone rose up into the arena to find their platforms surrounded by water. 'Interesting they have been avoiding water since the flood year.' Kawino thought.

He was a bit glad though that because of the flood year his 'parents' had decided it was an important skill to learn. "Well, at least that helps." He knew from that year that most in Panem have no idea how to swim. "Hopefully Cady does." He's pretty sure she does anyway.

He prepared to dive in he had trained his whole life for the games he might as well put that to use.

So he hit the water as soon as the gong went off. He went through with quick easy strokes that he had learned from watching the victor of the flood year. He and Cady reached the Cornucopia at about the same time. "Hey there," she said, smiling a little

"Hey," he greeted, then looked around noticing, "There's nothing but weapons here."

"No way!" she said.

"It's a Quarter Quell. Literally anything can happen," Kawino said, gathering a collection of knives.

"Right," she said, picking two swords in cases as Kawino grabbed a spear for each of them.

"Now we wait."

"Not here," Cady said, looking over at the Cornucopia. "We need a vantage point."

"Okay, well grab a few quivers," he said. She did as he took two bows. "Alright I'd say we are armed enough," he said. She nodded and scaled the Cornucopia in mere seconds. 'Smart girl.' Kawino thought and followed her up to the tip.

Soon others began to emerge from the water slowly. Cady took a sword out of the case ready for an arial assault.

As four emerged Kawino watched him carefully, he wasn't sure what to think yet. "Career?" Cady asked based on his hesitation and pretty much knowing nothing of the other tributes.

"I think so."

"Then ignore him for now."

"Right okay, here comes 3," Kawino said.

She turned where he was long and leaped down from the Cornucopia, sword pointed down driving straight through the woman from 3's skull.

Kawino shot an arrow past her hitting the male from 5.

Cady spun around on her heel, sword ready but feeling so vulnerable on the ground. 6's female was getting closer. Cady sprung forward swinging the sword at her torso. She dodged and attempted a rather sloppy punch at Cady.

Cady almost laughed at the attempt and chopped the girl's arm off at the elbow with her sword. 'Definitely not a Career.' The girl barely had the time to scream before Cady gave a quick powerful stab that she felt her sword hit the girl's spinal column. She didn't need to watch she knew this opponent if she could even be called that was done as she pulled out her sword.

Cady made her way back to the horn on constant guard and glad that Kawino's up there and will kill someone she misses. She's as safe as she can be here. "Are you in the pack!?" She asked 4.

"Obviously," the man said, "are you?" She raised an eyebrow pointing to the dead woman in the sand for an answer. "You killed a background weakling, so?" he said, looking her over.

"I could kill you without an effort," she said.

He actually laughed causing Cady to growl angrily, "Please, a little girl like yourself? Do you even realize how pathetic you sound?"

"She could, and if you want to keep drawing breath you'll shut it." Kawino said drawing the boy's attention as well as an arrow.
