Hello everyone, I'm back, sorry for the long wait. I thought I didn't have anything to write stories, until I found a document app on my and realize I could write stories again, so here is the next chapter of Undercover.
Chapter 13: Investigation.
Richard, Marcus, Littlefoot and his friends, along with his mate Gemma, look at the information of the two stories that both Doc and Sharptooth told. They are trying to find out what happened Sharptooth's mate that was murdered.
" Okay, let's go through what evidence we have." Richard says, as he turns to his team. " Okay team. The only evidence we have of this investigation, are eye witness testimony's."
" Maybe we should go to the scene, where the murder took place." Ruby says.
" That's a good idea, but it will be hard to find evidence, since the murder took place years ago. And most of evidence might be destroyed because of mother nature." Marcus says.
" I know, it will be diffcult. But we found out the truth, and get to the bottom of this." Littlefoot says.
" We got find something to stop Sharptooth, from chasing after us." Chomper says.
Richard looks at the US Military trucks, and realize that Littlefoot and his friends have grown a lot over the years, and that they can't fit in the truck anymore.
" So travling on truck is out of the option." Richard says.
" We are going to have to stay close to each other." Ducky says.
" Right, let's get moving." Richard says, getting his weapons ready for any encounter.
Soon Richard and the team left the valley, soon they got to the outskirts of the Great Valley, and started their search for the bodies of Sharptooth's former mate and their never born hatchlings. Their hope of finding any evidence looks slim, but you never give up hope. Petrie looks at the background, as fog was covering the scene.
" Me feel creeped out being here." Petrie said.
" Quit being a scardie egg, we need to find the bodies." Cera said, as she trips and falls to the ground, causing a crash, knocking Richard, Marcus, and Gemma out of there feet.
" You okay, Cera?" Gemma asked.
" Yeah, I'm okay. I tripped on a big root." Cera said.
Richard notices there is no tree, as he realize where Cera is standing at.
" Cera, don't move." Richard said, as he checks it out with a flashlight.
Richard then she something buried in the ground, as he started using his claws to dig the dirt away.
" Come on guys, help me dig the dirt away, I think we might have something." Richard said to Marcus and Gemma.
The three raptors kept on digging, until they saw a mummied body of a female Sharptooth and mummied bodies of small Sharpteeth hatchlings, and some broken and smashed egg shells. They have found Sharptooth's former families bodies and uncovered the crime scene where it took place.
The first think done, was that Ruby and Ducky sealed the area off as a crime scene area. The team looks at the bodies, they realize that Sharptooth former mate and his hatchlings bodies are still intact, meaning that they might have some evidence to figure out what happened to them.
" The female Sharptooth's body is to big, we are going to need a flatbed semi to take her body back to the our HQ for examintion of the bodies and examintion of possible other evidence." Richard says.
Spike who now has gotten voice after growning up, spoke up.
" Let's continue searching for evidence." Spike said.
" There must be something, there that has to tell us what happened." Marcus says.
" Guys, over here!" Littlefoot says.
The team walked over to where Littlefoot is.
" What did you find, Littlefoot?" Richard said.
" I found some red stains, I think it is dried up blood." Littlefoot said.
" Let's take a sample of it, we might be able to rehydrate the DNA inside the blood, give it some life." Marcus says.
" Look, at the blood stains, I think there is also some high vality blood splatter." Gemma said.
Richard looks at this, and see it.
" Your right honey, let's measure it and take some pictures, and will figure out what happened, here." Richard said.
Ruby got a measuring stick, as Richard took the pictures.
They later found foot prints near the crime scene. As they made plaster mode of the foot prints. When it dried, they lefted the foot print modes.
Soon the team got the US military trucks, even a US Military flatbed truck. Soon they got all the evidence together as they back to the valley. Now the team is deteremined to find out what happened to Sharptooth's former mate and his hatchlings. The question now remains, Was it an accident or murder?
Meanwhile, Doc and Dara were eating food, they heard a noise they haven't heard in years, they go off to invesigate. Then they see a grown Longneck, Threehorn, Swimmer, Flyer, Spiketail, Sharptooth, Fast-runner, and three grown Fast-biters. Doc and Dara looked at them more closely, and realize that it is Littlefoot, Richard, and the others.
" It's them. They have grown." Dara said to Doc.
" So Richard and Littlefoot have grown, I made the right decision to the two together as a team." Doc said.
" What are they doing with that Sharptooth?" Dara asked.
" It's Sharptooth's former mate, it looks like they are going to find out what happened to her." Doc says.
" Should we help them?" Dara asks Doc.
" Not right now. We will know we help them out. Let's follow them for now, and keep out of sight." Doc says.
Soon Doc and Dara follow the dinosaur team without being noticed.
Sharptooth that have lost track and trace of Richard, Littlefoot, and the gang, is simply stalking his prey, and was about to hunt for his food, until he heard sound. He remembered that sound years ago, when he chased the kids through out the future in Evansville. He lost his interest with his prey and decided to focus on where the sound was coming from. When he got to the clearing he saw them and he saw that Doc and Dara are following them, without getting seen.
" Smart my friend, smart. But I will getting to them when the time comes. But for now, I will do the same." Sharptooth said to himself, in the sharptooth language.
Sharptooth decided to follow the dinosaur team without getting detected too.
The clock begins on the investigation, and to avoid a fight is around the corner.
Now the bodies have been found, the question for everybody is, was it an accident or murder? You decide.
