Here is another chapter of Undercover.
Chapter 14: Forensic Evidence
When Richard, Marcus, Gemma, Littlefoot and his friends got back into the valley that they were staying to keep safe from Sharptooth. They begin going through evidence they collected and examine the mummified bodies of Sharptooth's mate and their hatchlings.
First they begin examining Sharptooth's mate, they see that she has claw marks and bite wounds where a Sharptooth attacked her, there is also claw and bite wounds that come from a Fast-biter, and they found bruise that show that she got tail-whipped by Longneck.
This evidence now points that a Longneck, a Sharptooth, and a Fast-biter toke Sharptooth's mate by surprised and attacked her.
When they futher examine Sharptooth's mate, they look at her mating area, and found evidence that she was sexually assaulted before she was murdered. Gemma checked for any biological evidence. To her luck, she found semen. Furthur proof that Sharptooth's mate was sexually assulted. Gemma takes the sample she found to be examined for DNA.
Richard and Chomper looked for the cause of Death, soon they found out what happened to Sharptooth's Mate.
The tail whip bruises tells them that a Longneck attacked her catching her completely by surprise knocking her down to the ground. Dispite being weak after already laying Sharptooth and her hatchlings, she still had some energy left to protect her young, she tried to fight back.
The claw marks and small bite marks show that a Fast-biter attacked her left leg, and jumped on her back and bite her there.
Then Marcus looks at the big sharptooth bite mark and claws marks on Sharptooth's mate back and sides, it shows that the Sharptooth had forced her down into submission position and forced him into her. Futher proofing the evidence of a sexual assult. Then Chomper saw a Sharptooth big mark on the back of Sharptooth's mate's neck.
They realize that the killing was not just a killing, but also an excution. They conclude that the three suspects attacked Sharptooth's mate by surprise, they attacked her to make her more weak to respond to their attacks, then sexually assulted her and known that if she lived to tell what happened, her mate will come for them, so they murdered her to leave no witnesses.
Ducky and Ruby begin examining the eggs shells of Sharptooth's hatchlings and found that there are claw marks on the egg shell, they meassured the claw marks, and concluded that a Fast-Biter was holding the eggs.
Richard and Mark see this as evidence, they now suspect that the sexual assult means that Sharptooth's mate, had to let the Sharptooth sexually assult her so that the her children don't be harmed.
Ducky and Ruby looked at the hatchlings, and saw that they were pure white, meaning that they were not ready to hatch yet, and still need more time to develop, before they hatch and breath the air around them. Ruby concluded that Sharptooth's hatchlings were exposed to the air and the bright circle (sun) light, exposed air and sunlight was what killed them. Ruby know that the fast-biter destroyed the eggs after Sharptooth's mate sexual assult and murder. Ducky was saddened by this Sharptooth families murder, Ruby told Ducky that they will find the suspects who did this to this family.
Petrie examined the blood splater evidence, he concludes what the team has suspected, it was high vality blood splater, the type of blood splater you see in homocide cases.
Brownclaw and his pack gave the team DNA equipment, to test semen and blood for DNA.
DNA from the blood splater matchs Sharptooth's mate.
Marcus saw blood on Sharptooth's mates claws, he took a swap of the blood, when the blood DNA was tested, it was confirmed that it was Longneck blood, it means that Sharptooth's mate got lucky and left a good claw mark on one of the suspects. They now have DNA on one of the suspects. When they tested the semen sample for DNA, it came back postive for Sharptooth DNA meaning that now that they have DNA of their second suspect.
So they have two DNA evidence from two seperate suspects.
They turn to the foot prints found at the scene. They identified the set of prints at the scene as Longneck, Sharptooth, and Fast-biter foot prints again proofing that the suspects were there.
The found seperate Longneck foot prints and a seperate Sharptooth foot prints at the scene as well They wondered whose extra footprints are these.
Then Richard and Marcus got out their cameras, they look at pictures they took years ago when they were Doc and Sharptooth.
The photos range from foot prints to Sharptooth and Doc themselves.
They looked at the foot prints in the pictures and the foot print plastic casts, they meassure the cast foot prints and also meassure the foot prints in the pictures, they conclude that Doc's prints were further away from the nest, and looked at picture of Doc's body and see a scar over his right eye. At first the team suspected Doc was one of the killers, they suspected he killed Sharptooth's mate in retalltion for Sharptooth entering the Great Valley.
But Richard got his notebook out, and remembered writing Doc's point of view, the notebook says that Doc got the scar when he fought against Sharptooth in the Great Valley. Littlefoot also remembered the story, so did Chomper and Marcus who wrote Sharptooth's point of view. Both point of views concludes that Sharptooth himself gave Doc the scar, and not his mate, so Doc's story checks out, and the team ruled him out as a suspect.
The team also concluded that is partner/love interest Dara, is not a suspect either.
So two Longnecks have been ruled out.
Sharptooth's foot prints were closer to the nest, Marcus told the Team Sharptooth's point of view. Some of what Sharptooth said, makes no sense, if three suspects killed his family, why did he suspect Doc? Why didn't he smell the three suspects that wiped his family out?
The team are considering that Sharptooth himself, might have something to do to with this, temporary considered him a prim suspect in his own families murders.
The team decided that the only way to make sure that Sharptooth was or was not involved is to find him, stay out of sight, and collect any form of DNA without him seeing them. They figured they can collect saliva when he ate his food.
Now with that problem out of the way, they checked Brownclaw and his pack for anyone that matched the Fast-biter foot prints and claw marks on the egg shell, though the claw marks were similar, it didn't match. So Brownclaw and his pack were elimated as suspects.
They checked the Longneck Sinclair, that they met when Brownclaw and Sinclair lead them to their valley. They checked the for Sharptooth claw marks on his fore and hind legs, and anywhere else on his body.
But they came empty, there were no claw marks on Sinclair, he too was elimated as a suspect.
The team stops examining, and realize that they must find and collect evidence from Sharptooth himself and other dinosaurs, mainly Longnecks, Sharpteeth, and Fast-biters, living in the Valley peacefully side by side. The concludes what they have so far points to Homocide. Richard has plan a ready.
" Okay guys, here is how I see it." Richard says.
Richard looks at Littlefoot, Cera, and Spike.
" Littlefoot, Cera, Spike, you guys check out every Longneck for any claw marks on their bodies, mainly their legs." Richard says, as the three nods their heads and move out.
" Chomper, Ducky, Ruby, you guys look for any Sharptooth eating fish, when you guys ask for a fish, I want you guys to take a least one fish from each Sharptooth and bring it here, so we can test each of the Sharpteeth's DNA, if we rule out Sharptooth being the one that did this, one of the other sharpteeth did it. Go." Richard said, as the three nodded and moved out.
" Petrie, I need you to fly around the valley and outside for it, to look for Sharptooth, if you find him hunting, I want you to stay out of sight, and if he catches himself some food and gets done, I want you get a DNA sample from where he ate, so we can see if he is the one, if not, we rule him out as a suspect. Go." Richard says.
" Me won't let you down, Richard." Petrie says, as he takes off into the air.
Richard turns to Marcus and Gemma.
" Come on guys, we got to check all of the Fast-biters in the Valley for claw marks." Richard said.
Soon the whole team has been spread out, they are now more closer to solving the homocide case and hopely end Sharptooth's pursuit of them.
The answer you all have been waiting for, sharpteeth family destruction was homocide. Three suspects have emerge, the team are getting closer to the killers. What will happen next? Stay toned for the next chapter.
