Before I begin this chapter. I want to clear up a few things. One: I made an error with Brownclaw, when I wrote this story years ago, he was browntooth, after a few years I decided to keep it as Brownclaw, because it had a better effect the browntooth. Two: I also want to clear up on where Littlefoot and his friends, including Richard and Miller are. They are not in the Great Valley, they have left the Great Valley, in either chapters 4, 5, 6, 7, or 8. They are in Paradise Valley, a Valley where both Leaf and Sharptooth live in harmony and peace. The Valley is run by a council of both leaf and Sharptooth. One male and female of each spieces. The council is made up of Longnecks, Threehorns, Swimmers, Flyers, Spiketails, Fast Runners, Sharpteeth, Fast-biters, and Rainbow Faces. Littlefoot and the gang will return to the Great Valley, but please don't rush this story, give me time and you will like this story. Anyway here it is. And this is my Christmas present for you all. Merry Christmas.
Chapter 19: Capture the criminals and confession.
Hours later, Richard, Littlefoot and the gang along with Doc, Dara, and Sharptooth. Head back to HQ, they have small hatchlings they want to interview.
Richard and Miller believe the hatchlings were at the scene of the crime where the fire broke out. They figure they are not suspects, but more like victims and eyewitnesses. They need to know what the hatchlings saw, what the hatchlings heard and what they know.
They begin talking to the hatchlings. They start from the Longneck male hatchlings to the Sharptooth male hatchlings, they even interviewed the female counterparts, all four coming to a concussion that three male adult dinosaurs, a Longneck, a Sharptooth, and a Fast-biter.
Richard and Miller now have proof that Argentino, Utah, and Tarbo have just tried to kill Hatchlings, but the fire also stopped them, when they found weapons and explosives where the fire was, Richard and Miller have a theory that the three were planning an attack on Paradise Valley.
With the actual eyewitnesses that places the three at the scene of fire site, and also finding weapons that are to cause harm, Richard, Miller, and the team finally got what they wanted.
The Valley Council have agreed to issue an order to allow the team to get biological evidence and also gave them promise to capture on site for the Fire.
" Yes finally they gave us the go ahead to capture Argentino, Utah, and Tarbo. " Richard said.
" About time." Cera said.
" We must hurry." Chomper said.
" Chomper is right. We must capture them before they hurt or kill someone else. " Littlefoot said.
" And I will finally get my revenge against those three." Sharptooth said.
" And I am going to help you, old friend." Doc said.
" So when do we begin finding them?" Dara asks.
Richard and Miller knew this was coming. Richard decided to tell them.
" Only you are coming to help us capture them, Dara. Doc and Sharptooth are going to have to sit the capture out." Richard said.
" Why?" Sharptooth asked.
" How come we are not involved in this? " Doc asked.
" Don't get us wrong. I like it that you are helping. But since the suspects were your former friends, we worry that it will cloud your judgment and we need you off of the case. At least until we gather evidence to force them to confess to what they have done." Miller said.
" You can listen from afar, but that will be it, at least after their confessions. " Richard said.
" That are right. Just stay on the sidelines, I can handle things for now." Dara said.
So Doc and Sharptooth knew they had no choice, they decided to let the team do what they have started and let them solve their case.
" Okay, but if something goes wrong, we will not hold back." Doc said.
" Thank you. Don't worry Dara will not be alone. I have decided to bring along Sinclair. He will be an extra help." Richard said.
Soon the team split up, Dara was put in charge of Littlefoot, Ducky, Petrie, and Ruby to capture Argentino, as Richard and Chomper decide to lead Cera, Spike, Brown Claw, and his fast-biter pack to capture Tarbo and Utah. They then went to Sinclair and he accepted their invitation to join and help capture Argentino, Utah, and Tarbo.
Dara, Littlefoot, Ducky, Petrie, and Ruby started looking for Argentino, then they found him along with Tarbo and Utah.
Then Ducky got a question up her mind.
" Are we waiting for Richard and the others? " Ducky asks.
" Yes, we plan to catch those three off guard and take them down." Dara said.
Then the team see Richard, Chomper and his team as they see them and the suspects.
" Oh right here we go." Dara said as they get ready to surprise the suspects.
Meanwhile Argentino, Utah, and Tarbo are getting worried, they had accidentally started a fire, now they fear they are being found out.
" You realize we are in big trouble here." Argentino said with panic.
" Hate those hatchlings, why did they have to be nosey, with the fire that happened, those fast-biters will be coming after us." Utah said.
" It looks like our plan to attack Paradise Valley will now likely will never happen. But there is one valley that we can attack. The Great Valley. " Tarbo said.
" But that Valley, is a leaf only Valley." Argentino said.
" Yeah. So?" Tarbo said.
" So. We might end up facing the residents. And our chances of us against them are very slim." Argentino said.
" I hate to agree with Argentino, but he is right, we need an army to take that Valley." Utah said.
" Is the Army made of Fast-biters and Sharpteeth and are they at the Mysterious Beyond waiting for battle?" Tarbo asks.
" Yes. " Utah said.
" Have you got any help, Argentino? " Tarbo asks.
" Yes. I have gotten some rogue Flyers to join our cause. They only want us to keep our promise they will be allowed to chose their Flyer female mates." Argentino said.
" Perfect. Our plan will work and nothing will stop us now." Tarbo said.
" You sure about that?" A male voice said.
The three turned around and saw the two Fast-biters and their team, and they have two other Longnecks with them. Utah then tried to smile and act surprised.
" Hello there team. May we help you?" Utah asks.
" We got an order from the Valley Council to allow us to collect biological material for our case, and plus since you started a fire that almost killed four hatchlings, with authority from the Paradise Valley Council, you are under arrest." Richard said as he gave a very serious look, as if you could kill someone with just a stare.
Argentino, Utah, and Tarbo now realize the Valley wants them captured and now they are going down for attempt murder, they froze in fear, as they saw the team had serious looks on their faces. Then they did something that Richard suspected they would do.
They toke off running like criminals.
The team chased after them. Argentino and Tarbo ran good until they caught. The only one that ran further away was Utah, Richard and Miller chased after him, with pistols drawn.
Utah ran as far as he could until Sinclair came out of nowhere and used his tail, and clothes line him, as Utah tripped, Richard and Miller placed handcuffs on him and toke him away.
Soon the team came back to HQ, with the suspects in tow, they then toke some DNA evidence from them, Claw mark impressions, the bite mark impressions, and also measured the scar on Argentino's side.
The DNA found in Sharptooth's mate, and Tarbo ' s blood matched.
On Sharptooth's mates claws they found evidence of dried blood, they compared the three's blood, and it matched Argentino.
They found the bite mark on Sharptooth's mates back neck, matching Tarbo ' s teeth.
And the most damming piece of evidence of all.
They found a egg shell with a hole that was made by a small tooth, they compared Utah ' s teeth to the hole and it matches.
All of the evidence points directly at Argentino, Utah, and Tarbo as Sharptooth's mate and their hatchlings murders.
They had murdered the whole family, except Sharptooth. And Tarbo had sexual assaulted Sharptooth's mate before he killed her.
With all of the evidence, the eye witness testimonies of the four hatchlings from the fire and with their lie detector test results, they decided to interrogate them one by one.
The team split the three apart and interigate them each. Argentino is in one room, as Utah and Tarbo are in another room.
Argentino, Utah, and Tarbo tried to lie what they did, the were hit back with the polygraph exams test results, eyewitness testimonies from the fire and with the biological evidence, the three knew that they have been caught.
Then Richard and Miller revealed what their case was, it was the murder case of Sharptooth's mate and her hatchlings.
Then the three confessed out loud that they committed that crime.
Soon they began telling their stories.
" Why did you murder them?" Richard asked Utah.
" It was retaliation for abandoning us and forging their own friendship. We wanted them to come back, but they refused to return, soon we formed our own friendship and went after them to look for a fight." Utah said.
Flashback
Doc and Sharptooth are young children that ran away from their parents to start a new friendship that they believe will bring everlasting peace between leaf and big bitters.
They were playing a game, until a young Argentino, a young Utah, and a young Tarbo came to them.
The young Longneck, Fast-biter, and Big biter aka Sharptooth, confronted them.
" Why did you run away from us? " Young Utah demanded
" Do you not want to hang out with us anymore Sharptooth? " Young Tarbo said.
" Guys I am just hanging with my friend." Young Sharptooth said.
" Doc, why are you hanging with this Big biter, he will turn against you." Young Argentino said
" Just like what I said to my parents, I don't care, will not betray him and he won't betray me. " Young Doc said.
" Now leave us, we are done here." Young Sharptooth said.
" No we are not done." Young Tarbo said.
" It is with us. And you are not making us change our minds." Young Sharptooth said.
" If you don't like that we developed our own friendship from kindness and peace. Then we no longer recognize you as our friends." Young Doc said.
" You dare rip apart our friendships!" Young Utah said.
" If you can't recognize ours, then yes, we are willing to tear it up, to create a new one." Young Sharptooth said.
" Then you leave us no choice. We challenge you both." Young Argentino said.
" Then so be it." Young Doc said.
" I will have fun with this." Young Tarbo said
" Me too." Young Utah said.
" Me three." Young Sharptooth said.
Then it happened a fight started Doc and Sharptooth vs Argentino, Utah, and Tarbo.
Argentino, Utah, and Tarbo attacked first, but their were blocked, as Doc and Sharptooth struck at them and did some damage onto them. Argentino, Utah, and Tarbo always tried to use the coward attack to fight, while Doc and Sharptooth used the honorable fighting tactics to fight against the former friends.
After awhile, Argentino, Utah, and Tarbo were beaten, Sharptooth put his foot on Tarbo, placed his jaws on his neck, but didn't draw blood, instead he stood then let go, and backed up next to Doc.
" We won and beat you fair and sqaure." Young Sharptooth said.
" Now leave us as cowards for the rest of your miserable lives. For you will feel shame and disgrace for you three did today." Young Doc said.
" Let's get out of here, Gralnuk." Young Sharptooth said.
" Let's go, Garlnuk." Young Doc said.
Before they left, Utah then spoke up.
" You both will regret this, we will come after you and we will destroy everything you created." Young Utah said with hate.
Doc and Sharptooth carried on, continuing the friendship.
Flashback ends
" And ever since then we vowed revenge against them." Argentino said in front of Cera and Littlefoot.
" What did you do then?" Cera asked.
" After we defeated, all of our parents said we were a disgrace to them because we used coward attacks and then we're driven away from our nests. And both Sharptooth's and Doc's parents hated us for not doing enough to bring them home and for not understanding how true friendship works. So we followed them and kept out of sight. As Doc and Sharptooth grew, so did we, as well was our hate. Then Doc revealed his soft spot to us, when a female longneck join the two and became their friend, when refused to kill another dinosaur for his food, he decided to lay there die like a weakling. But Doc didn't see that, he saw it that his friend is willing to keep his promise and make good on them. Sharptooth would only eat the dead, if it was already dead. Doc had to make a certain dinosaur or creature was dead before allowing Sharptooth to eat. With Doc and Sharptooth's weaknesses exposed in front of us. We exploited it." Argentino told the story.
The changed to Sharptooth and the female Longneck fighting Argentino, Utah, and Tarbo.
" So you killed her, to frame Sharptooth." Littlefoot said with anger.
" Yes. Well I simply tailwhipped her, Utah and Tarbo did most of the killing. I simply knocked Sharptooth unconscious." Argentino said.
In another room, Richard and Chomper are integrating Utah and Tarbo.
" But you didn't just kill her, you feasted off of her." Chomper said.
" Yes we did, and she was delicious." Tarbo said, as he and Utah smile evilly.
" You bastards!" Miller said.
Richard used his hands as if to say, ' calm down, they will get what they deserve.'
" Then you framed Sharptooth by smearing her blood on him. My guess Doc bought it and the two got into a fight and you three succeed." Richard said.
" Not fully. Before Doc and Sharptooth separated. They showed the residents of Paradise Valley that Big bites aka Sharpteeth can be trusted, if you give them the chance. Soon the Valley Council, that were only leaf at the time, decided to have Valley become friendly to both leaf and biters. Then the Big biters and Fast-biters were added to the Council. We hated and fear that other valleys would do exactly like what happened in Paradise Valley, so we decided to create a crisis, so big that other valley's won't join, and Paradise Valley will be segregated from leaf and big biters." Utah said.
" So you decide to see what Doc and Sharptooth have been up to." Chomper said.
" Yes. Doc remained a loner, but Sharptooth found a mate and she laid her eggs, she was going to have hatchlings that will hatch soon. Soon Sharptooth left, minutes later, Doc arrived but stay away from the female and gave her a stern about her or her mate attacking the Great Valley, then he left. That gave yet another opportunity. " Tarbo said.
" So you attacked them, threaten her hatchlings, sexual assaulted her, killed her and her hatchlings." Richard said.
" We couldn't allow her to live, because then Sharptooth would have came after us and kill us. So we had to eliminate a problem." Utah said.
Then changes back to Argentino with Littlefoot and Cera.
" So your plan half way worked." Littlefoot said.
" Yes. But at Paradise Valley, they continue to let Sharpteeth and Fast-biters in and all leaf and Sharpteeth got along fine. " Argentino said.
" So you came up with a new plan?" Cera asks.
" Yes. We created an army to fight any Valley. They had teeth and claws, but it wasn't enough." Argentino said.
Back with Utah and Tarbo.
" They needed weapons, to cause damage, serious damage. We couldn't find them until these weapons that you call guns and explosives call out of nowhere, then we created a new plan attack Paradise Valley. " Utah said.
" But it never happened. " Chomper said.
" No. All thanks to those hatchlings that had to poke their noses where they don't belong, and we cause a fire that broke out of control to the point that our plan ended up in smoke. But we still have another plan." Tarbo said.
" What other plan?" Miller asks.
" To attack the Great Valley." Utah said.
" Not going to happen now. You are all murderers and rapists, and what you told us, now not only are you cowards, you are now terrorists. You will now pay the price for rape, murder, treason, and terrorism. You three are all under arrest for these crimes." Richard said.
Soon the team places Argentino, Utah, and Tarbo in a cave with a rock boulder that acts as a prison cell for the three.
Richard and Miller decide to go and tell Doc and Sharptooth what they had learned.
